BTS’ Suga to Make History With Upcoming Solo Tour

Suga will become the first BTS member to embark on a solo tour, with a slate of dates scheduled around the world this spring, including a U.S. run. The tour is notably being billed under Suga ’s own name, as well as his other stage moniker, Agust D.

The trek will kick off with two shows at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York — outside New York City — on April 26 and 27. Suga will then play one show in Newark, New Jersey, three in Rosemont, Illinois (just outside of Chicago), and three in Los Angeles. The U.S. leg wraps with two gigs in Oakland on May 16 and 17.

While all seven members of BTS are exploring solo projects right now (and completing their mandatory military service ), Suga has been ahead of the curve for a few years now. Back in 2016, he released a debut self-titled mixtape as Agust D, then followed that project up in 2020 with another mixtape, D-2 . Suga’s also done a bunch of production work for other artists recently, including Psy , the Japanese singer Ømi, and his BTS bandmate Jung Kook.

Sebagai informasi, Agust D merupakan nama yang dipakai Suga untuk proyek-proyek solonya.

Untuk wilayah Asia Tenggara, Agust D Tour akan digelar di Bangkok (Thailand) pada 10 dan 11 Juni), serta Singapura pada 17 dan 18 Juni 2023.

Agust D Tour kemudian dilanjutkan ke Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Seoul, Korea Selatan, pada 24 dan 25 Juni.

Tur solo Suga BTS akan dimulai dari Belmont Park, Amerika Serikat pada 26 April 2023.

Tur akan berlanjut ke Newark, Rosemont, Los Angeles, dan Oakland.

Tur di Amerika Serikat diakhiri di Oakland pada 17 Mei 2023.

Sejauh ini BigHit Music belum memberi penjelasan lebih detail tentang Agust D Tour.

BigHit baru mengumumkan cara pembelian tiket untuk konser di Amerika Serikat.

Ini merupakan tur solo pertama Suga BTS.

BTS ‘ Suga has unveiled a string of tour dates for his first solo trek outside of the K-pop supergroup. The tour has no official title just yet but has been tagged under Suga’s own name, as well as his other stage persona, Agust D.

With the U.S. leg set to launch this spring, the tour will kick off with a pair of shows at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York on April 26 and 27. Suga will then follow up with several performances in New Jersey, Illinois and California, with the U.S. run will closing in Oakland on May 16 and 17. Then the tour will hit Asia in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan (with those dates to be announced soon).

This marks the first solo tour for a member of BTS. The seven-member band announced a temporary break last year with the aim of exploring solo opportunities, while others complete their mandatory military service . Like other members, Suga has previously released solo mixtapes, including a pair under his alter-ego Agust D. He has also tinkered with production work for other artists like Psy and his fellow bandmate Jung Kook.

BTS' Suga Announced His First Solo World Tour

The rapper and singer will hold 11 shows in the U.S.

BTS is set to start their mandatory military service soon, but they’re giving their fans a proper send off before then. In addition to the individual solo projects, albums, and collaborations they’ve all released, Suga will become the first member to embark on his own solo world tour.

The group’s charismatic rapper, songwriter, and producer announced his first-ever global tour on Tuesday, which will take him to cities across the U.S., Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Japan. On his own, the member will play arena stages — and likely sell them out, too. The tour, called Agust D, named after his 2016 solo mixtape and his other stage name, kicks off in late April and will likely wrap up three months later in July with a few dates yet to be announced in Japan.

In the U.S., Suga is scheduled to play huge venues like New Jersey’s Prudential Center and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum — two arenas with a seat capacity of over 17,000. Per the tour schedule, he’s set to play multiple nights in some cities, which will hopefully ease some of the overwhelming fan demand (and ticketing nightmares).

Last we checked, Suga was meant to kick off his military duties in March 2023, but given the scheduling of the tour, that seems to have changed. It is likely he’ll instead enlist following the tour. NME reported that the boyband member will also not enter active duty as previously thought, and will instead fulfill his military requirements as a social service agent.

In addition to his 2016 mixtape Agust D , Suga also released D-2 , his second solo mixtape, in 2020. This tour will finally give him the opportunity to perform both of those projects live. Registration is now open to access one of two Verified Fan presales on Ticketmaster. The first, for ARMY Members, will kick off on Wednesday, March 1. All tickets will be available during the ARMY Member presale. The general Verified Fan presale will begin Thursday, March 2, pending ticket availability. Register here .

Any tickets still available after that will be available for purchase in a general onsale taking place Friday March 3 at 3p.m. local time.

Jakarta getting 3 (!) shows by BTS’ Suga in May

In a testament to the massive popularity of BTS in Indonesia, three concert dates by the group’s rapper Suga in May have been announced — which is one more show than what our friends in Bangkok and Singapore are getting.

Suga, real name Min Yoon-gi, is embarking on a solo global tour under his other moniker Agust D. Yesterday evening, BTS’ official Twitter account posted the tour dates, which include three consecutive shows at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City in the outskirts of Jakarta from May 26 to 28.

Responding to a retweet of the announcement by Indonesian concert promoter iMe, fans are urging the event’s organizers to learn from chaos at the venue in recent concerts. In September 2022, for example, fans of K-pop boy band Seventeen accused organizers of ticket sales manipulation, which gave rise to scalpers on the days of the shows.

iMe says that more details about the shows will be announced soon. In the meantime, we have noticed that Hotel Santika Premiere, which is the accommodation of choice for many ICE BSD City concert goers as it is practically attached to the venue, is fully booked during Suga’s dates. Nearby hotels have also raised their rates.

After Jakarta, Suga will head over to Bangkok for shows on June 10 and 11, and then Singapore for shows on June 17 and 18.

Suga membawakan lagu-lagu karyanya sendiri di tur konser solo perdananya ini. Musisi Korea Selatan berusia 30 tahun itu membawakan lagu terbaru di album D-Day, salah satunya adalah Haegeum yang jadi pembuka penampilannya di hadapan Army.

Suga juga menyanyikan lagu-lagu lama dari album D-2 yakni People dan Burn It. Sang rapper BTS ini juga menyanyikan lagu yang ia ciptakan dan rilis di album BTS. On a post today (14/02) , it was revealed that the South Korean rapper will be performing in the U.S. and in certain parts of Asia including Singapore, Bangkok, Indonesia, Seoul, Japan. This follows the announcement that BTS members will be focusing on solo activities for the time being .

TOUR MARKS FIRST-EVER SOLO RUN FOR A BTS MEMBER   

Ticketmaster verified fan registration open now here through february 23  , presales begin wednesday, march 1st  .

Today, SUGA of 21st century pop icons BTS announces his first-ever solo international  tour. Produced by HYBE, BIGHIT MUSIC and Live Nation, the tour begins with two nights in Belmont Park, NY at UBS Arena on April 26 & 27 and continues across the U.S. with stops in Newark, Rosemont, and Los Angeles before wrapping up in Oakland, CA with two nights at Oakland Arena on May 16 and 17. The tour then proceeds to Asia in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan.  

Information about ticketing for the tour can be found on Weverse . Additional information on U.S. ticketing can be found below. 

TICKETS: Tickets for shows in the U.S. can be purchased through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform. Fans can register for the two unique Verified Fan presales HERE now through Thursday, February 23rd at 7PM PT/9PM CT/10PM ET. More information on each presale is below.  

Only fans that have received a unique code will have the chance to purchase tickets for performances on a first come, first served basis. More details available HERE .

Prakiraan Harga Tiket Konser Suga BTS Agust D Tour di Indonesia Mei 2023

PIKIRAN RAKYAT - Kabar menggembirakan datang untuk para pencinta musik Kpop terutama ARMY atau fans dari BTS. Pasalnya salah satu member BTS, yaitu Suga dijadwalkan bakal menggelar konser di Indonesia.

Suga akan menggelar konser bertajuk Agust D Tour kabar ini telah dikonfirmasi setelah Suga sendiri mengumumkannya melalui akun sosial media BTS pada 14 Februari 2023 kemarin.

Sementara ini, baru ada informasi mengenai tanggal dan lokasi konser Agust D Tour di Jakarta. Suga BTS dijadwalkan tampil di Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD Hall 5-6, Tangerang, pada 26, 27, dan 28 Mei 2023.

Untuk wilayah Asia Tenggara, Agust D Tour akan digelar di Bangkok (Thailand) pada 10 dan 11 Juni 2023, serta Singapura pada 17 dan 18 Juni 2023.

Agust D Tour kemudian dilanjutkan ke Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Seoul, Korea Selatan, pada 24 dan 25 Juni. Tur solo Suga BTS akan dimulai dari Belmont Park, Amerika Serikat pada 26 April 2023.

Tur akan berlanjut ke Newark, Rosemont, Los Angeles, dan Oakland. Tur di Amerika Serikat diakhiri di Oakland pada 17 Mei 2023. Sejauh ini BigHit Music belum memberi penjelasan lebih detail tentang Agust D Tour.

BigHit baru mengumumkan cara pembelian tiket untuk konser di Amerika Serikat. Ini merupakan tur solo pertama Suga BTS.

Untuk harga tiket konser Kpop di Indonesia sendiri saat ini dibandrol dengan harga tiket nonton mulai dari Rp1 juta hingga Rp4 juta. Namun tidak menutup kemungkinan harga tiket nonton konser Suga BTS Agust D Tour di Jakarta akan jauh lebih murah atau lebih mahal.

BTS kembali menghibur para ARMY dengan karya terbarunya bertajuk BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas. Ya, konser BTS: Yet to Come in Busan akan dijadikan sebuah film dokumenter berjudul serupa, BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas.

BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas hadir menjadi versi bioskop pada 1 Februari 2023 di seluruh bioskop dunia.  Hal ini pun diunggah oleh akun Twitter BTS @bts_bighit yang mengumumkan tayangnya film BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas.

" BTS <Yet To Come> di konser BUSAN yang dinikmati seluruh dunia bersama di layar lebar teater! Pada tanggal 1 Februari, rilis teater di seluruh dunia! " cuit @bts_bighit.

Nantinya para ARMY akan diajak untuk melihat sisi lain dari keseruan konser BTS: Yet to Come in Busan, mulai dari persiapan member BTS hingga kejadian-kejadian yang sebelumnya tak ditampilkan di depan panggung.

Selain itu, film BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas juga bakal menampilkan lagu-lagu hit dari seluruh karier grup, termasuk Dynamite, Butter, dan IDOL, ditambah penampilan konser pertama Run BTS dari album terbaru grup Proof.

Untuk menambah pengalaman yang lebih seru, film BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas juga bakal dirilis dengan format 3D dan 4DX.

Film ini akan diputar di bioskop di lebih dari 110 negara dan teritori untuk waktu yang terbatas, mulai 1 Februari 2023.

BTS’ Suga unveils deets on first-ever solo world tour (including Thailand)

2023 will see BTS’ Suga embark on a world tour, taking him to the US, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Japan—kicking off on 26 April at Belmont Park, New York. Here’s all about it.

The first member of BTS to hit the road on his own – Suga took to social media to drop a slate of dates in spring for the official announcement of his world tour. Billed under his stage moniker Agust D, the outing will go on from 26 April – 25 June. The dates for Japan are yet to be announced.

Tickets will reportedly go on sale to the general public on 3 March. However, those with a BTS Army Membership will have first access on 1 March – via Ticketmaster. On Valentine’s Day, Suga took to Weverse to clue fans in before the official announcement. “I can’t say much, but yes..let’s see each other at the concert. It’s late now so I’ll be going. Let’s see each other soon,” he said. This follows a video in December where the rapper was seen strutting in a hip-hop 101 class with a private instructor. “I’ve learned some basic hip-hop moves. I’ve suddenly got an interest in learning at the age of 30,” he shared with fans. “I’m taking all kinds of lessons now. I’ve started playing the keyboard again. I’m also taking guitar and dance and Japanese and English.”

It’s been a busy couple of months for BTS. Most recently, J-Hope and RM announced their respective solo albums while Jungkook wowed the world with his FIFA World Cup track Dreams . Jimin is also set to release his debut solo album in March. Meanwhile, Jin performed his single The Astronaut , with Coldplay in Argentina last October to much acclaim. Suga has released two mixtapes Agust D (2016) and D-2 (2020) which are expected to feature in his tracklist.

BTS Suga’s ‘Agust D Tour D-Day - The Movie’ debuts at number 2 at US box office

Move over Godzilla , there’s a new king in town (well, almost)! BTS’s powerhouse rapper Suga, also known as Agust D, is making a name for himself on the big screen. His concert film,  Agust D Tour D-Day - The Movie , debuted at a phenomenal number two on the US Box Office charts, according to reports.

This impressive feat placed Suga’s film hot on the heels of the week’s blockbuster release,  Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire . The electrifying concert film, capturing the raw energy of Suga’s solo tour, played on a massive 783 screens across the nation.

Agust D's Tour D-Day  boasts not only Suga’s powerful performances but also special appearances by fellow BTS members RM, Jimin, and V. On its opening day, the film raked in an impressive USD 961,015, solidifying Suga’s immense popularity in the US. 

It’s worth noting that Suga was the first BTS member to embark on a sold-out solo world tour before his recent enlistment in the South Korean military. His popularity transcends borders – in his home country,  Agust D Tour D-Day - The Movie  set a record for the highest number of pre-release reservations. Limited edition merchandise for the film also sold out instantly, proving Suga’s dedicated fanbase.

Directed by Park Jun Soo,  Agust D's Tour D-Day - The Movie  is a 90-minute documentary that offers fans a front-row seat to Suga’s electrifying 2023 world tour under his stage name, Agust D.

BTS Suga , the powerhouse of the legendary K-pop group, is making waves on the big screen as well! According to the latest data from Box Office Mojo, his concert film, Agust D Tour D-Day - The Movie , has secured a phenomenal second place on the U.S. Box Office charts. This strong debut is right behind the week's biggest release, the blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire. Here is how much it earned in its debut week.

The film documenting Suga's solo tour, which captures the energy of his performances, was shown in an impressive 783 theatres across the country. The movie, titled Agust D's Tour D-Day, includes special cameos by some of the BTS members such as RM, Taehyung, and Jimin. On its opening day, it grossed an impressive $961,015. Meanwhile, Godzilla vs. Kong made over $1,974,152 and took the top spot.

SUGA is highly popular in the United States, being the first member of BTS to commence a solo world tour that resulted in sold-out stadiums right before his military enlistment.

In South Korea Suga ( Min Yoongi ) set an all-time record for his movie by getting the highest number of reservations for a week before it was released. Additionally, the special cold cup merchandise for 'D-Day The Movie' and 'Goods TTT (That’s The Ticket)' sold out in a blink on opening day.

It provides Suga’s fans with a firsthand experience of his electrifying 2023 world tour under his stage name. Produced by HYBE labels, the film's tickets were available for sale from March 12. It started debuting in multiplexes and PVRs worldwide from April 10 onwards.

When BTS’s Suga Seemingly Snuck Himself Into A Care Package For Halsey

Halsey and BTS have one of the best friendships in the music industry!

Since meeting at  the 2017 Billboard Music Awards , they have developed a great bond.

From it, great collaborations have been created, such as the 2019 hit song “Boy With Luv.”

They’re always there for each other through highs and lows at any milestone. Halsey supported BTS at their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts in L.A.

And, the members congratulated Halsey on the birth of their first child,  Ender Ridley Aydin .

Halsey and BTS continually show love and support to one another regardless of location or time difference. And, ARMYs couldn’t help but notice a familiar face in a post made by Halsey…

Halsey shared a photo on their Instagram Stories, revealing that they received a box of Korean snacks. At the center of the box was a limited edition bottle of Lotte ‘s  Xylitol gum with Suga ‘s face on it from BTS’s collaboration.

Halsey didn’t specify if it was a gift or they specifically ordered the items. They just said, “special delivery made my day.” And, upon looking closely, one can see a card that reads, “Dear. Ashley (Halsey’s real name)” with the word “Happy.”

So, ARMYs are speculating that this was actually a gift sent by none other than Suga himself (hence the gum with his face on it) in honor of the second anniversary of Halsey’s Manic album. The album was released January 17, 2020, and includes their collaboration track “SUGA’s Interlude.”

Some ARMYs speculated that this was a hint at another BTS and Halsey collab. They reminded us that before anything was confirmed for J-Hope and Becky G ‘s “ Chicken Noodle Soup “…

Well, the Halsey and Suga collab actually did happen! In June 2023, the pair released “Lilith,” the anthem for game Diablo IV .

Also, if the package is truly from BTS, this wouldn’t be the first time the group surprised Halsey with Korean snacks. In 2017, the group gifted her a Snackfever box!

Despite outdated and inferior equipment and no professional instruction at first they would go on to compete against wealthy all-white teams and win the 1957 Texas State High School Golf Championship.

Well Go USA opens its widest-ever theatrical release, horror thriller Sting , on 975 screens. Written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner , it stars young actress Alyla Browne (upcoming Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga ) as 12-year-old Charlotte, whose pet spider rapidly transforms into a giant flesh-eating monster, forcing the young girl to fight for her family’s survival.

Iconic Events Releasing presents the BET+ original Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead in 600+ theaters. The remake of the 1991 coming-of-age comedy is directed by Wade Allain-Marcus, written by Chuck Hayward. Stars Simone Joy Jones as Tanya, who finds her summer plans canceled when her mom jets off for a last-minute retreat and the elderly babysitter who arrives at her door unexpectedly passes away. With Nicole Richie, June Squibb, Tremaine Hensley, Jermaine Fowler and Ms. Pat with Miles Fowler, Iantha Richardson, Gus Kenworthy and Tyriq Withers.

Roadside Attraction and Vertical open The Absence of Eden , starring Zoe Saldana, at 108 theaters. The first feature for artist and producer Marco Perego, husband of the Saldaña, executive produced by Martin Scorsese, is grounded in the human side of migrants trying to cross the border in search of a better life. Perego has said it was inspired by a sculpture he did in 2017 filling hundreds of shoes with concrete to represent children fleeing from Syria to Italy.

Set at the U.S.-Mexico border, an undocumented immigrant Esmee (Saldaña), working as a private dancer, finds herself in trouble after killing a drug cartel member. The film is dedicated to Saldaña’s late maternal grandmother, who immigrated from the Dominican Republic in the 1960s.

Written by Perego and Rick Rapoza. Also stars Garrett Hedlund, Adria Arjona, Chris Coy, Sophia Hammons, Noah Ziggy James.

With immigration a hot-button political issue, Deadline’s review calls it a perfect time for this “powerful new film.”

Music: Trafalgar is playing concert fim Suga /Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ The Movie on 784 Screens in North America. Started with two dates, 4/10 and 4/13, but has been adding playdates due to demand. Suga is part of the blockbuster pop group BTS and the film features appearances by members RM, Jimin and Jung Kook.

Oscilloscope is playing Indigo Girls : It’s Only Life After All , Alexandria Bombach’s documentary on the iconic duo that opened the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Opened at 90 locations on Wednesday and exhibitors are adding encores this weekend and beyond to meet demand. The distributor expects to add a significant number of engagements throughout April and May. 

Greenwich Entertainment presents Lost Angel: The Genius of Judee Sill — the never-before-told story of folk-rock icon Judee Sill, who in just two years went from living in a car to appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone. The doc directed by Andy Brown and Brian Lindstrom ( Alien Boy: The Life & Death of James Chasse ) premiered at DOC NYC in 2022 and charts Sill’s troubled adolescence, meteoric rise, and early tragic death. Featuring Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Fleet Foxes, David Geffen, JD Souther, Big Thief, Weyes Blood, Tim Page and more. Executive producers include Maya Hawke and Cheryl Strayed. Day and date with full week theatrical runs in New York (IFC Center), Los Angeles (Laemmle Noho), Santa Fe (Center For Contemporary Arts) and Callicoon, NY (Callicoon Theater).

Played on 122 screens for an event screening Tuesday. Opens in NY and LA today (Union Square and Laemmle Monica), day and date.
