Cruise Packages with Flights
Ready to take advantage of world-class itineraries and cruise packages? With flights reserved using Princess EZair® , you’ll benefit from even greater convenience and cost savings. Start your journey with simplified booking and affordable flight options that best complement your cruise by considering where and when you set sail. Whether you’re traveling solo or looking for the best group cruise deals, let Princess help create your best vacation yet.
Princess EZair
Imagine if planning your dream cruise vacation was as seamless as the journey. Princess EZair makes it simple to find flights. With two different pricing options available, you can enjoy the benefits of the EZair program without going beyond your budget. Choose from Flexible Fares or Restricted Fares to best meet your needs. Some benefits of the EZair program include:
- Cost savings : When you book your air travel through EZair, enjoy exclusive low prices that may not be publicly available. Plus, see a comparison of fares to choose the one that makes the most sense for you.
- Flexibility: If you want the freedom to change your flight, opt for our Flexible Fares option, which can often cost less than Restricted Fares. Life happens, and with this benefit, you have the ability to alter reservations up to 45 days before your departure without any cancellation fees. You’ll only pay for the cost difference of your new flight, unless the price is lower. And you can book your air travel in advance with no amount due until you make your final cruise payment.
- Protection: With so many variables in play, flight delays can happen, but they shouldn’t disrupt your vacation plans. If you experience a flight disruption on the day of travel with EZair, we’ll work with the airline to find the next best flight, so you can still embark on your world adventures. If you miss your flight on the way home due to your cruise or transfer, we’ll even help you make new travel arrangements for your return trip.
- Support: Though specific questions or concerns should be addressed with your airline, like seat assignments, our En Route Desk is available 24/7 as an extra level of support. We’ll help you find flights that fit your cruise with our easy-to-use tool that provides flight suggestions based on when and where you sail. That way you don’t have to worry about whether you've chosen the right flight to get you to your cruise on time. You can also easily modify your reservations if you want more time in port before or after your cruise.
Your cruise vacation is more than just a holiday. It’s the chance to unwind and explore. Princess EZair helps your journey take flight by allowing you to forgo the stress of transportation planning. Similar to putting together ideal cruise and flight packages, EZair makes it easy to coordinate flights, save on fares and ensure you land your ultimate vacation. All that’s left for you to do is sit back, relax and set sail on a dream vacation.

An Air Canada flight safely arrived in Toronto from Punta Cana International Airport on April 8 despite the pilot warning of a “‘jammed stabilizer and multiple failures.”
Air Canada flight lands safely despite 'jammed stabilizer and multiple failures' Back to video
In a recording of a call with air traffic control, the pilot can be heard declaring “PAN PAN,” which is short for “possible assistance needed,” and is used to communicate an urgent but non-emergency situation.
“We have a jammed stabilizer and multiple failures showing. However, the plane is still operating reasonably normally,” the pilot of AC935, an Airbus A330-300, says in the recording as the plane, carrying 290 passengers, approaches Toronto Pearson Airport.
The pilot is instructed to change altitude and requests emergency vehicles to meet the plane after landing.
“We have 290 souls on board. We are negative hazardous cargo. We have seven tonnes of gas, so about an hour’s worth of gas on board,” the pilot says. “It should hopefully be a brief stop.”

The incident was reconstructed on the YouTube channel “You can see ATC” and is being celebrated for the calm communication between air traffic control and the pilots of the flight.
The stabilizer helps to control the angle of the aircraft’s pitch, as well as its balance and stability during flight. It can become jammed due to mechanical failure, damage from external debris or issues with the aircraft’s hydraulic or control systems.
“About half an hour from landing, our pilots received a flight deck notification related to a pitch control system, which triggered other related warnings,” Air Canada told National Post in a statement. “The crew requested priority for landing and followed standard procedures to land the aircraft normally.”
In December, an Air Canada flight en route to Madrid from Toronto was forced to declare PAN PAN and make an emergency landing in Newfoundland after the flight crew noticed a burning electrical odour and a “RECIRC FAN UPPER” caution indication.
The flight, AC-824, made a safe landing in St. John’s and a recirculation fan was replaced due to a failed bearing. There were 177 people on board the flight the Boeing 787-9, which departed Toronto Pearson International Airport on Dec. 2.

6 arrested, 3 on run in what police call biggest gold theft in Canada’s history
Six people, including a jeweler and a commercial airline employee, are under arrest and police said they have issued warrants for three other suspects in connection to what they called the single-largest gold heist in Canadian history.
According to Peel Regional Police in Ontario, a joint investigation with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) led to nearly two dozen charges being filed against the suspects in connection to the nearly $20 million Canadian dollar ($14.5 million) heist that took place a year ago.
During news conference Wednesday in Ontario, Peel Regional Police Detective-Sergeant Mike Mavity told reporters 400 kilograms of gold bars weighing more than 900 pounds, along with about CA$2.5 million ($1.8 million) in stolen bank notes were hijacked from the Toronto Pearson International Airport after arriving on a commercial flight from Europe.
In all, 6,600 gold bars ranging in size were stolen and each gold bar was "99.9% pure and contained individualized serial numbers," Mavity said.
The items, officials reported, had been ordered from a refinery in Zurich.
Here's how police said the heist went down:
Gold and currency transported in Air Canada flight to Toronto airport
On April 17, 2023, the gold and currency were transported in the hull of an Air Canada flight in "an approved airline container" destined for Toronto.
At 3:56 p.m. that day, the flight arrived at Toronto Pearson International Airport and, shortly after, the gold and cash were offloaded from the air craft and brought into an Air Canada facility.
At 6:32 p.m. a male suspect arrived at air can cargo driving a 5-ton truck, and approached the compound carrying what police called a fraudulent airway bill − a document used by carriers with details about shipments.
A short time later a forklift arrived and loaded the item into the suspect's truck.
The suspect then drove away.
The items are discovered missing
At 2:43 a.m. the next day, officials discovered the document bill was a duplicate of an airline bill for a legitimate shipment of seafood delivered and picked up the previous date, according to a press release from police.
The forged bill was printed within the Air Canada facility, Mavity said, and when officials realized the items were missing, they used security footage to track part of the subsequent route driven by the suspect before losing track of the truck in north Milton, an Ontario suburb.

An inside job: Here are the suspects
Police confirmed the heist was an inside job and said a former Air Canada manager was wanted in the case.
So far police said they have arrested the following suspects in connection to the case:
- Air Canada employee Parmpal Sidhu, 54, of Ontario
- Jewelry store owner Ali Raza, 37, of Toronto
- Amit Jalota, 40, of Ontario
- Ammad Chaudhary, 43, of Ontario
- Prasath Paramalingam, 35, of Ontario
All five were released on bail and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date, Mavity said.
The truck driver who allegedly picked up the gold, Durante King-Mclean, 25 of Ontario, is currently in custody in the U.S. on firearms and trafficking related charges.
Here are the suspects at large:
- Air Canada manager Simran Preet Panesar, 31, of Ontario
- Archit Grover, 36, of Ontario
- Arsalan Chaudhary, 42, of Ontario
Peel Regional Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich said only CA$90,000 ($65,000) of the more than CA$20 million has been recovered.
According to U.S. ATF Special Agent Eric DeGree, King-Mclean was arrested in Pennsylvania after a traffic stop lead to police seizing 65 illegal firearms slated to be smuggled into Canada. King-Mclean tried to flee, DeGree said, after police discovered the firearms in a rental car he reportedly drove.
Air Canada spokesman Peter Fitzpatrick confirmed to CBC Canada , two of the suspects identified by the police worked for Air Canada in the cargo division at the time of the heist.
"One left the company prior to the arrests announced today and the second has been suspended," he said according to the outlet reported. "As this is now before the courts, we are limited in our ability to comment further."
Catalytic converter heist: Massachusetts man latest to plead guilty in takedown of catalytic converter theft crew
So far only one kilo of gold recovered, police say
A year later, according to the release, only about CA $90,000 (one kilo of the gold) has been recovered , melted down into bangle bracelets. The rest of the gold, police said, was likely melted down and used to buy illegal firearms.
"I commend the incredible work done by our investigators, the ATF, other law enforcement partners, and our community for working together to identify and arrest those responsible for this brazen crime," Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah released in a statement this week.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Peel Regional Police.

Air Canada apologizes after headdress of First Nations chief removed to hold
Politicians decry ‘shameful’ incident on domestic flight in which Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak’s headdress was taken by airline staff
Canada’s largest airline has apologized to a prominent First Nations chief after her ceremonial headdress was removed from the plane’s cabin, wrapped in a plastic bag and moved to the baggage hold.
Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, national chief of the assembly of First Nations, was flying domestically on Wednesday when she said her headdress was taken by airline staff.
“Air Canada needs a protocol for First Peoples so that we are not harassed for our sacred items,” she wrote on Facebook, posting images of staff removing the headdress from the cabin of the plane. “Our headdresses don’t belong in garbage bags by airlines,” she added. “Thank you to the kind Canadians on the plane who stuck up for me and tried to help.”
Air Canada said in a statement it had reached out to Woodhouse Nepinak to “better understand and apologize” for the incident, adding that the company “understands the importance of accommodating customers with items and symbols of sacred cultural significance”.
Woodhouse Nepinak, who previous served as regional chief of Manitoba’s Assembly of First Nations, received the headdress during a ceremony by the Blackfoot Confederacy of the Piikani Nation in Alberta.
It was transferred to her in recognition of her national leadership and work on a settlement on Indigenous child welfare, the Assembly of First Nations said in a statement. The AFN added that the eagle feathers that make up her headdress have been “blessed to help support leadership in their travels and challenges”.
Politicians swiftly condemned Air Canada’s actions, with Canada’s former justice minister David Lametti calling the incident “shameful” and “ridiculous”.
“It can’t simply be placed in checked luggage,” he said in statement.
“I have been on numerous flights where larger pieces of ordinary luggage were placed safely in the cabin. Their refusal in this case is simply shocking.”
Alvin Fiddler, grand chief of Nishnawbe Aski Nation described the incident as “shameful” and called on the country’s flagship carrier to “ensure all members of your team are aware and follow all protocols on handling sacred items”.

Air Canada apologizes to national chief after flight crew took her headdress away
A ir Canada says it's sorry after staff tried to stow away the headdress of the Assembly of First Nations' national chief in cargo storage before the departure of a flight Wednesday.
The company said in a statement Thursday it's apologizing to National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, who said on social media Thursday she was forced to hand over a case containing the headdress that was with her in the plane's cabin.
"I won't be letting anyone take away my headdress or case again," Woodhouse Nepinak said on a public Facebook post, ahead of a different flight to Montreal.
"Air Canada needs a protocol for First Peoples so that we are not harassed for our sacred items. Our headdresses don't belong in [garbage] bags by airlines."
CBC News contacted Woodhouse Nepinak, but she was still in transit and wasn't ready to talk at length about the incident Thursday night.
The national chief said staff wanted to put her headdress in cargo storage because there was no room at the cabin, and that the situation got tense. She said the flight crew threatened her staff, and that other passengers stood up for her.
She said the case was put in a plastic bag. The pilot came out and brought the case back after she complained, she said.
Woodhouse Nepinak said she normally travels with the headdress on her lap, or in carry-on storage.
Air Canada said in a statement it's reached out to the national chief to "better understand and apologize for her experience."
"Air Canada understands the importance of accommodating customers with items and symbols of sacred cultural significance, and in the past the chiefs have been able to travel while transporting their headdresses in the cabin," the statement said.
The airline added it's following up on the matter internally, and will be reviewing its policies after the "regrettable incident."
Incident 'unacceptable,' minister says
Federal Transportation Minister Pablo Rodriguez said what happened is "unacceptable" and the government "expects Air Canada to treat Indigenous customers with respect and promote better Indigenous cultural diversity."
Alvin Fiddler, grand chief of Nishnawbe Aski Nation, called out Air Canada on X, the social platform formerly known as Twitter, saying the incident was "shameful" and the company needs to ensure staff follow protocols on sacred items.
David Lametti, who was the federal justice minister when Canada adopted the Universal Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in 2021, told CBC News in an interview the incident left him "stunned."
"There aren't many chiefs across Canada who would have that kind of headdress," said Lametti, who now works as a lawyer specializing in Indigenous law.
"It is critically important that it be treated as a sacred object, and I don't understand why this would have been treated with anything less than the appropriate amount of dignity that it deserves."
Woodhouse Nepinak, from Pinaymootang First Nation in Manitoba, was elected national chief last December.
She received the headdress during a New Year's Day ceremony by the Blackfoot Confederacy of the Piikani Nation in Alberta for her national leadership, and her work championing a historic settlement on Indigenous child welfare.
The Assembly of First Nations said in a release then the headdress transfer is one of the "highest honours among First Nations ceremonies for leadership," and the eagle feathers that make up the headdress have been "blessed to help support leadership in their travels and challenges."
Air Canada walks back new seat selection policy change after backlash
Air Canada has temporarily walked back its decision to charge a new seat selection fee for travellers booked on the lowest fares.
Under the old policy, customers with fares that didn't offer free seat selection prior to check-in would be randomly assigned a seat at the time of check-in, with the option to change that seat to another available seat for free.
However, some Air Canada customers received notices earlier this month stating the airline would soon charge passengers with standard or basic fares to change their automatically assigned seats during check-in.
- Top business headlines, all in one place
A Facebook account belonging to Ontario-based travel agent Kerry Berlinquette shared an image of a notice she received on April 18.
"We're introducing a new seating assignment process for Standard or Basic Fares," the notice reads.
"When customers enter the check-in flow, our system will automatically assign a seat free of charge for those who have not purchased a seat in advance … If they wish to change their automatically assigned seat, they can easily do so for a fee."
The notice, which stated the change would take effect April 24, triggered a wave of complaints by angry consumers on Facebook, X and Reddit.
So Air Canada can now split your party at their discretion to force you to spend money to ensure your party sits together. (Previously it was a safe gamble at 24 hours you could find seats together) pic.twitter.com/rTvxfVqqGy
"That stinks. It was bad enough you had to fight for a seat 24 hours before flight. Just another money grabber," one Facebook user wrote in a comment on Berlinquette's post.
"It's frustrating when traditional airlines behave like budget airlines," a Reddit user wrote on April 24. "They have eliminated free checked baggage and now they have also removed the option of selecting seats for free during check-in. What will be next?"
I don’t know why everyone is mad at @AirCanada for introducing another junk fee. They have been trending towards the bottom end of the discount airline market since their last bailout. Their service, food, on time rating, cleanliness, and generally quality is horrible.
Following some of the backlash, Air Canada issued a statement to airline industry news website Pax News clarifying the policy change.
"What has changed, and is consistent with our branded fares, is that after seats are assigned at check-in for no fee, customers who now wish to change to a different seat from the one we assigned them will have to pay the same fee they would have paid prior to check-in," the airline wrote to Pax News, which reported the airline would continue to assign seats to ensure families on the same booking are seated together for no fee, as per Canada's Air Passenger Protection Regulations.
"This is the practice at other airlines, including some in Canada."
However, by April 26, Air Canada had paused the new fee. The flag carrier would not confirm whether consumer backlash had influenced the decision and declined to answer questions by CTVNews.ca about why it had introduced the fee and how long the pause would last.
- Canada This Month newsletter: Sign up to read the best our local outlets have to offer
"We paused the implementation for operational reasons to ensure a smooth rollout for our customers and employees," a spokesperson, who did not provide a name, wrote in an email to CTVNews.ca on Monday.
"We will communicate next steps at the appropriate time."
Air Canada would not be the first Canadian carrier to charge a fee for seat selection after check-in. However, the airlines that charge a seat selection fee, such as Flair and Porter, tend to be low-cost carriers that offer more affordable base fares than Canada's flag carrier.
One exception is WestJet, Canada's second largest carrier after Air Canada, which also charges a fee for seat selection.
