Day : 1 dehradun / haridwar to joshimath (320 km / 9-10 hrs.).

The Auli journey begins with your arrival at Dehradun Railway station. Meet tour representative and get comfortable transfer to Joshimath. The 320 km drive can be enclosed in almost 9 hours. Tour Itinerary

Day 1 arrival in dehradun.

Welcome to Dehradun. Upon arrival at Dehradun airport or railway station our driver cum guide will receive you and transfer you to the hotel for complimentary stay. Dinner and breakfast is included on the day of arrival. Spend the day to relax after smooth check-in process and sleep homely for an exciting tomorrow.

Day 2 Dehradun to Auli

Passengers are required to report at SSD Helipad according to the reporting time assigned to the group a night prior. Flying time from SSD Helipad to Auli Helipad is approx. 60 minutes. On arrival at the Auli Helipad, our handlers will receive the group and guide them towards hotel check-in. 

Enjoy the majestic views of Mt. Nanda Devi, Mt. Dunagiri, Mt. Neelkanth, Mt. Hathi Parbat, Mt. Gori Parbat, Mt. Nar Parbat and Mt. Kamet from the resort. 

You can enjoy the local sightseeing in Auli like Auli Chair Car, Auli Cable Car, Auli Lake or simple hike around.

Day 3 Auli Local Sightseeing

Today you can either relax and enjoy the views in Auli or explore the Joshimath town. You can also plan day trek to Gorson Bugyal, which is only 3-5 kms from Auli. Cable Car/ Ropeway also goes up till Gorson from where Gorson Bugyal is only 1.5 kms You can avail the sightseeing services from resort at an extra cost, or you visit by yourself as well.

Remaining day is at leisure, post dinner have a good night sleep so that you are ready for an early morning return flight to Dehradun.

Day 4 Auli to Dehradun

After breakfast, get ready to fly back to SSD helipad. On arrival at Dehradun, we will collect the luggage from the hotel at Dehradun and drop travelers to the airport/ railway station or bus stand as per the departure timings. Tour concludes once we drop groups to their respective departure points.

Note : As this is NSOP flying, timings are tentative and may get changed subjected to permissions and weather conditions. We recommend you to book your return flight one day later.

Important Information

Flexible flying time.

Flying time of charter is subjected to fl ying permissions and weather forecast and can be changed if the weather is not permissible for flying or in case of any technical issues

Body Weight Limitation

Each helicopter can accommodate up-to 5 passengers with total body weight limitation of 375 kg for 5 passengers. Heli Yatra holds the right to de-board the passenger if the

given body weight deviates from the actual body weight provided at the time of making the booking. In such scenario, we will not be liable to provide the refund amount to any passenger de-boarded. Passengers are requested to share the exact body weight measured on electronic measuring scale. Passengers with body weight above 75 Kg will be charged INR 2,000 / - Per Kg. This amount will be collected in Dehradun to avoid last minute hustle. Passengers whose given body weight is wrong will be charged INR 2500 /- Per Kg only on the fi nal call of the pilot else will be de boarded without any refund.

Luggage Weight

Only one small soft bag/ duff le bag weighing a maximum of 3 kgs is allowed per passenger provided the body weight is exactly the same which was provided at the time of booking. Suitcases or any other luggage bags including hard case bag is strictly prohibited to be carried in the helicopter.

Hotel Accommodation

Heli Yatra holds the right to change the hotels at fl ight origin and destination which is subjected to the availability of hotels, group of 5 passengers or above may have to stay in diff erent hotels as they will be travelling in diff erent helicopters subjected to their body weight.

Rooms are booked on double or triple sharing basis only. For a separate single occupancy room, it will be extra chargeable @ INR 30,000/person (tax inclusive).

Infant below 2 years are accommodated free of charge. For verifi cation of age the child, ID proof/birth certifi cate of the child needs to be submitted prior to arrival date at source of journey.

Bad Weather Conditions

Flying in hills is subjected to bad weather conditions, many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traff ic Clearances/ Permissions, VVIP movements, valley fl ying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of fl ying crew or late reporting of the passengers at helipads, among others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios. We strongly advise our passengers to keep one additional day at hand, over & above the 3N4D period,

to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios.

Due to backlog/ bad weather in some circumstances your trip may be cancelled on the day of arrival due to the above conditions with full refund except the expenses occurred in Dehradun. In most of the situations, if there is back log due to bad weather trip may get cancelled.

In case we are unable to fl y due to bad weather situation or any other force majeure reasons, we will refund proportionate money i.e if due to any reason we are unable to fl y then we will refund proportionate money subjected to the fl ying hours which is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and fi xed components.

Medical/ Special Condition

Heli Yatra staff should be informed at the time of booking if there is any Medical or Special condition (Handicapped, Specially or Mentally Challenged etc.) involved with any of the fl yers. Heli-Yatra has full rights to de-board the passenger if not informed at the time of booking.

Airport transfers

Transfers will be provided only on the arrival day at Dehradun and on the last day (4th Day) of the tour. Any other day drop will be on additional charges. Cab for Haridwar/ Rishikesh visit will be on additional charges of INR 8000/- Per Cab.

You may have to wait at the airport or helipad meanwhile the cab is coming in-case the cab get stuck in traff ic. Also, the cab details will be given to the customer few hours before the actual arrival time.

Passenger Grouping

In view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, operating company reserves the right to shuff le passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe fl ying in the hills. Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter fl ight.

Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 5 Passengers throughout their entire journey.

Rescheduling Of Booking

Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to availability, and on payment of 20% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only if informed at least 30 days before arrival date.

In case rescheduling is requested less than 30 days prior to the travel date, then the booking would be treated as cancelled, & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.

Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds:

Tour Cost: In any circumstances, if your trip may get cancelled on the day of arrival due to the force majeure reasons, full refund except the expenses occurred in Dehradun will be deducted. In most of the situations, if there is back log due to bad weather trip may get cancelled.

Additional Services:  The cost of additional services provided at any Dham during the tour will be deducted over & above the refundable Tour Cost.

Refund against an unutilized service will not be done.

COVID-19 Lockdowns, or any National/State Emergency:  In case passengers test COVID positive before the travel, or the Yatra gets called-off by the government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, there will be no refunds applicable.

However, passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher by the Heli company against the advance paid, which will be valid for one year. It can be utilized against any of our helicopter tours or charter services by the passengers or any of their friends/relatives.

Cancellation Policy

If customer wishes to cancel their booking, they have to pay cancellation charges as mentioned below:

• Upto 30 Days before the fl ying date - 40% of the amount
• In between 0 to 30 Days - No Refund

Important Guidelines

• As this is NSOP (Non scheduled operations) fl ying, fl ying time for the next day is conveyed to passengers a night prior once the operation plan is fi nalized in the evening/ night after sunset.
• In case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by road.
• If there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required there might be a possibility of delay or passenger may fl y on the next day. In case of major part failure, your trip may be cancelled in between the Yatra.
• There can be a waiting time at the helipads for upto 2 hours approx. depending upon the multiple factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
• On the last day of the Heli-tour, we will try to depart from Auli as early as possible so that our group is not stuck in the bad weather scenario. In this case we may skip the morning breakfast at Auli. In case client wants to have breakfast at Dehradun it will be on an additional cost.
• Aadhar Card:  copy is mandatory to be submitted in advance before the date of fl ight by all Indian passengers, and Passport in case of foreign nationals.
• Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
• Passengers will not be permitted to board or commence the tour, unless full & fi nal payment of the tour has been done.
• At both the places we have our informed handlers and incase of any assistance client has to reach out the handlers.
• Any extra night halt except this itinerary due to any circumstances will be borne by the customers and client has to pay the amount on actuals in the hotel directly.
• Any last minute customization in the itinerary will not be possible as all the logistics are booked well in advance at the time of booking therefore client needs to update Heli-Yatra team if there are any add-ons required in the package.
• Company has full rights to cancel the booking in case of any emergency situation due to the current situation of the COVID-19 or any govt. circular.
• Within 15 days of Arrival Date/ No Show: No Refund
• 15 Days to 30 Days prior to Arrival: 50% of the total package cost.
• 30 Days & More: 10% of package cost (and taxes are not refunded in any case)
• Note : No refunds in case of Road Blocks, Accidents, etc

Itinerary Details

Upon arrival at Dehradun airport, meet our Tusk Travel representative or driver and drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into your hotel.

Triveni Ghat aarti darshan in the evening. Dinner at the hotel & overnight stay.

Following breakfast, spend the day sightseeing in Rishikesh. You can walk to Laxman Jhula & Ram Jhula, Geeta Bhawan & Swarg Ashram on the other side of the river.

In the evening walk to Ram Jhula and witness Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, check out, then drive to Chopta. When you arrive in Chopta, check into your hotel room. Have dinner and spend the night there.

Start your trek after breakfast to Chnadrashila - Tungnath the following morning. While trekking, enjoy the views of the Himalayas. From all directions, you will be able to see the Himalayan peaks (for example, Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba, and many others).

Start trekking down to your camp at Chopta after capturing the views in your camera. You will then return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Joshimath. On arrival at Joshimath, check into the hotel. Joshimath is home to Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh Temple.

After dinner, return to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 1 : Dehradun – Mussoorie

Begins your Uttarakhand tour, On arrival at the Dehradun airport, meet our EBB representatives who’ll arrange a smooth transfer for you to Mussoorie. Queen of the hills’. On reaching Mussoorie, check-in at one of our listed hotels. In the afternoon pay a visit to Gun Hill, Lake Mist, Kempty Falls and the Mussoorie Christ Church. Later in the day enjoy an evening walk on the Camel’s Back Road for its calm and refreshing surroundings. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Mussoorie – Auli

In the morning leave from your hotel in Mussoorie to reach Auli. Auli is the most popular skiing destination of Uttarakhand state.
