Each Black boat can take up to 12 passengers. This way you enjoy a VIP seating better than the competition. Passengers are seated in a 4 row arrangement in a very roomy leather couch type seat. No other company offers such space and comfort.

Yes, you are welcome to use the free parking for 3 hours!

No, this type of boats are open and any extra structure would restrict the feeling of the open ride. The boats are not covered and the passenger is seated in plain air, as in all similar vessels.

No there is no toilet. There are toilet facilities just a few steps of the berths that you can use before or after. A toilet on board would not be able to be used anyway while in cruising and the tours don’t include stops.

Yes we do. All seats have an easy to wear life vest that the client is compulsory to wear by law during the hole tour for safety reasons. The boats are fully equipment with everything necessary for both the client safety and comfort.

They can operate in high speeds. Currently they can be the faster ones in the country, with a max speed of 62 knots!!! But of course, we do not operate in such speed. Our target is the client to get all the comfort and luxury needed. Nevertheless, weather permitted the client get a momentum of speed thrill to enjoy.

We will be in the open sea and weather conditions might vary. So yes there is a chance to get wet. Under normal circumstances the client will not get seriously wet. Wind or waves can cause a light spray.

Yes, the crew members will provide all the information on all the landmarks to be visited and will be happy to answer more questions from the clients. We would like to stress that we are the only company offering guidance and service both in English and in Arabic.

Yes. The tour is generally suitable for all clients given that there are no age restrictions. The passengers though have to undertake themselves the responsibility of being in a health condition that does not prevent them from taking an open sea tour. Therefore, i.e pregnant women, clients suffering from neck problems, back or spine conditions, as well as persons with special needs etc. will be excluded.

There is no issue there in terms of safety for kids. This is a luxury attraction tour, not a roller coaster. Nevertheless, we do not accept infants and toddlers up to three-year-old. Children below 100cm height should be seated between their parents.

We do not do pre-seating. The experience is equally good from all seats as the attractions are not so close and the boat course is not a straight line. The seat assignment is done once the client arrives at the berth. On a first come base.

Of course! Photography is encouraged. As a matter of fact, we know vacation photos are so important that is why the boat will stop in front of the greatest attractions to provide a perfect photo opportunity.

No food is allowed on board, we only provide bottled mineral water to quench your thirst.

Each passenger must have identification documents to be allowed to onboard. Emirates ID or passport is therefore required. No other document is accepted. If a passenger does not have the identification document, he will not be allowed to onboard the vessel and any money paid will not be paid back. Unfortunately, this is a law requirement also and so we can do nothing about as it is a very serious violation if we do not respect it. Besides that, nothing is compulsory.

Client has to be at the departure berth minimum 15 minutes before departure with his id docs.

A few minutes walk from Dubai Marina, you can go to Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR).

There, you will find one of the most famous waterfront area of Dubai, made of “The Beach” (sometimes referred to as Dubai Marina Beach) and “The Walk” , the waterfront promenade boarding “The Beach”.

This popular promenade is home to a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops , and is a great place to take in the lively atmosphere of Dubai Marina’s surroundings.

JBR Walk is also a popular spot for runners , so you can get some exercise while you’re there.

The Ain Dubai , also known as the Dubai Eye, is a giant Ferris wheel located in Bluewaters Island resort.

It’s the world’s biggest ferris wheel , standing at a height of 250 metres!

As it’s not too far from Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina, you should really add a ride on the Ain Dubai to your itinerary. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the stunning views over the city, the Palm Jumeirah, the World Islands and other landmarks.

In my opinion, the best is to hop on the Ain Dubai around sunset time or at night , when the city is fully lit up.

To get to Palm Jumeirah when coming from Downtown Dubai or any other part of the city:

• First, take the metro and stop at DAMAAC Properties station
• Then take the tram to Palm Jumeirah station
• Follow the signs to reach the monorail – 5 minutes on foot
• Take the monorail to reach your destination on Palm Jumeirah (Atlantis Hotel, The Pointe etc…) – 30 AED (round trip). There is a monorail every 15 minutes between 9:00 and 22:00.

• Rove Downtown: Only 600 meters from the Dubai Mall. Bright and clean double room with view on Burj Khalifa, from 150€, breakfast for 15€. Strong points: Access to the Dubai Mall on foot, helpful staff, free shuttle service to the beach, Dubai Museum or Madinat Souk.
• Taj Dubai: Located 800 meters from Burj Khalifa. Modern and luxurious room with bay window overlooking the city and marble bathroom starting at 220€ per night, breakfast at 32€. Strong points: The magnificent view from the roof, the Indian decoration, the large swimming pool. An excellent hotel in Dubai city center, perfect for a romantic stay!
• Palace Downtown: Located on the lake at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, this 5-star hotel offers magnificent rooms with balcony, with an exceptional view of the Burj Khalifa. From 380€ per night, breakfast at 39€. Strong points: the exceptional location, the beautiful surroundings, the very attentive and helpful staff. This is my recommendation for a luxury stay in Downtown Dubai!

The best hotels in old Dubai (Deira and Bur Dubai)

• Golden Sands Hotel Apartments : Located in Bur Dubai, 1.5 km from the Dubai Museum. Apartment equipped with kitchenette and washing machine, from 80€ per night, breakfast from 11€. Strong points: Cleanliness, the heated swimming pool, the comfortable apartments
• Swissôtel Al Ghurair Dubai: Located in Deira district. Warm and spacious room from 115€, breakfast at 27€. Strong points: the pleasant staff, the view, the good breakfast. It’s my favourite in Old Dubai for its excellent value for money!
• Hyatt Regency Creek Heights Residences: Located next to Creekside Park. Very spacious, super comfortable and very well equipped rooms starting at 130€ per night, breakfast at 33€. Strong points: 5 minutes walk from the metro, the warm welcome, the quiet location, the spa.
• Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek : 5* hotel located in Deira bay. Double room with balcony overlooking the bay from 150€, breakfast at 29€. Strong points: The proximity of the metro and the shops, the beautiful swimming pool, the comfortable bed and the amazing view. This is my recommendation for a luxury stay in Old Dubai!

Palm Jumeirah

Palm Jumeirah Island is one of the three islands forming the remarkable artificial Palm archipelago in the UAE. The “Palm Islands” expand the coastline of Dubai by 520 kilometers. And although Jebel Ali and Deira are larger in size, Palm Jumeirah stands as the most illustrious of the three within the UAE. The name itself, “the crown of palm tree,” was chosen deliberately to reflect the island’s distinctive architectural design.

Situated just off the coast of Dubai, this artificial date palm tree island has a fascinating structure. The palm tree consists of a “trunk”, serving as the primary trade and transport artery of the island, a “crown” adorned with 17 “leaves,” each featuring exclusive villas, and an 11-kilometer crescent-shaped breakwater. Dubai floods: Chaos, queues and submerged cars after UAE hit by record rains

Passengers report being stranded in the desert city as the international hub struggles in the wake of unusually heavy rain

Don’t blame cloud seeding for the Dubai floods

Dubai is wrestling with the aftermath of extraordinary torrential rains that flooded the desert city, with people describing harrowing stories of spending the night in their cars, and air passengers enduring chaotic scenes at airports.

Up to 259.5mm (10.2in) of rain fell on the usually arid country of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, the most since records began 75 years ago . The state-run WAM news agency called the rains on Tuesday “a historic weather event” that surpassed “anything documented since the start of data collection in 1949”.

As the sun returned on Wednesday, along with it came stories of people stuck in cars and offices through an arduous night.

“It was one of the most horrific situations I had ever experienced,” said one Dubai resident in his 30s, who did not want to give his name, after his 15-minute commute turned into a 12-hour ordeal on flooded roads.

At Dubai’s airport, one of the busiest for international travel, with nearly every flight repeatedly delayed, Emirates passengers were told to stay away “unless absolutely necessary”.

Frustration from those already there began to build.

A large crowd formed at a connections desk, clapping and whistling in protest as they waited for information.

“They are completely lost, it’s complete chaos – no information, nothing,” fumed one passenger, who did not want to be named, after a 12-hour wait, Agence France-Presse reported.

Standing water lapped on taxiways as aircraft landed. One couple called the situation “absolute carnage”. They spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity in order to speak freely in a country with strict laws that criminalise critical speech. “You cannot get a taxi. There’s people sleeping in the Metro station. There’s people sleeping in the airport.”

The BBC reported other passengers were diverted to Dubai World Central Airport – also known as Al Maktoum airport – telling the broadcaster they had been “living on duty free” and that water was in short supply.

One furious British traveller told PA Media that once his flight was diverted to Dubai World Central, he had not been given any food or water either. “It’s just been an absolute disaster. We’re stuck here and seven hours without a single update is inexcusable.”

Emirates, Dubai’s flagship airline, posted on X on Wednesday night: “Customers should expect delays with departures and arrivals” and that while some passengers had been able to get to their destinations “we are aware that many are still waiting to get on flights”.

The airline cancelled all check-ins and announced that it would continue to suspend services until Thursday morning, apologising for the disruptions. Those on FlyDubai, Emirates’ low-cost sister airline, also faced delays.

Dubai airport posted on X early on Thursday that flights had resumed from Terminal 1 but urged people to travel to the airport only if they had a confirmed booking, as flights continued to be “delayed and disrupted”.

Paul Griffiths, the airport’s CEO, acknowledged the issues with flooding on Wednesday. “It remains an incredibly challenging time. In living memory, I don’t think anyone has ever seen conditions like it,” Griffiths told the state-owned talk radio station Dubai Eye.

Neighbouring countries were also hit by heavy rains earlier this week, including Oman, where 20 people have died, including 10 schoolchildren swept away in a vehicle with an adult.

Soldiers were deployed to badly affected areas of the sultanate, which rests on the eastern edge of the Arabian peninsula, to evacuate people trapped by flooding.

Schools will stay closed in Dubai until next week, authorities said, underscoring the difficulty of the clean-up.

In an unusual direct intervention, the UAE president, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ordered “authorities to quickly work on studying the condition of infrastructure throughout the UAE and to limit the damage caused”, official media said.

The president also gave orders for affected families to be transferred to safe locations, said a statement carried by the WAM news agency.

Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, wrote on X about “efforts being made by teams of citizens and residents that continue day and night” as the city’s media office posted video overlayed with dramatic music of officials conferring in groups and water pumping appearing to take place in the background.

Photos too were posted of what it said showed water flooding into desert areas.

Similar scenes were visible around the Gulf state including in Sharjah, in neighbouring Dubai, where people waded through main streets and paddled around on makeshift boats.

At least one person was killed in the flooding. A 70-year-old man who was swept away in his car in Ras al-Khaimah, one of the country’s seven emirates, according to police.

The UAE government announced that remote working for most federal government employees had been extended into another day because of the impact.
