Dubai: the city's best neighborhoods
Find a great area to stay in dubai.
3.2 miles from downtown
Bur Dubai is an important legislative center. You’ll find the Al Fahidi Historical District and the Dubai Museum nearby – a rich collection that chronicles the city’s development. Visit the Grand Mosque with its enormous minarets, or the traditional textile souks, restaurants and shisha cafés lining Dubai Creek.
Places to stay from $14 a night
5.7 miles from downtown
This area in "old Dubai" is a remarkable contrast to Downtown’s shiny newness. Be prepared to haggle in the traditional souks offering spices, textiles and gold jewelry. Wander along the port to watch fishermen transporting their catch on traditional dhows. Deira City Centre Mall has dining and entertainment for the masses.
5.8 miles from downtown
Umm Suqeim is a quiet community located along Jumeriah Beach. Wild Wadi Waterpark offers family fun in the form of slides and simulated surfing, and Jumeriah Beach is perfect for getting some sun. Madinat Jumeirah Souk is an Arabian market that’s great for antiques, oils, art, and more. The 7-star Burj Al Arab hotel is also in this area.
Places to stay from $104 a night
1.9 miles from downtown
Jumeirah is primarily a residential area, but it's also home to the lively Madinat Souk (a traditional Arabian market). The area is filled with low-rise villas. It’s fun to rent a bike and ride along Jumeirah Beach, with its 30 miles of pristine (and private) coastline – head to Jumeirah Beach Park for a publicly accessible area.
Places to stay from $109 a night
4 miles from downtown
Oud Metha is a large residential area only 10 minutes from Dubai International Airport. The designers of Wafi City and Raffles Hotel took some inspiration from ancient Egypt when designing the buildings at this shopping, dining and entertainment complex, which are shaped like pyramids. Recover from retail therapy with a day wandering in Wonderland Theme and Water Park.
Places to stay from $27 a night
3.5 miles from downtown
Ay caramba! Al Karama does a roaring trade in replica goods. Burrow through its bustling backstreets and “secret rooms” to peruse endless arrays of “Prada” handbags, “Rolex” watches and “Gucci” shoes. When it comes to food, the neighbourhood is 100% genuine. Pop into Pakistani restaurant Ravi to savour spicy Biryani chicken and sweet lassi yoghurt.
Places to stay from $36 a night
11.6 miles from downtown
Dubai Marina is on track to become the world’s largest man-made marina, with construction to be completed in the next few years. It’s a luxury waterfront destination with high-end commercial and residential buildings, including Cayan Tower, the world’s tallest high-rise building with the famous 90-degree twist, and Marina Mall.
Places to stay from $20 a night
Including tips for the best time to visit dubai.
Home to Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, Dubai is synonymous with soaring skyscrapers that rise beautifully above sunny beaches and desert panoramas. The hallmark of this city is its diversity of attractions coupled with an abundance of opportunities to experience Arabian hospitality.
You can expect to have a packed schedule of things to do when visiting this modern Arabian city, from theme parks to desert safaris. One of the standout city landmarks is the Burj Al Arab, a sail-shaped structure set against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea. A short drive away is Downtown Dubai, home to Dubai Fountain – a visually exciting spectacle of illuminated water jets dancing to music. Thrill seekers can even experience adrenaline-pumping action at Skydive Dubai, Deep Dive Dubai and Dubai Parks and Resorts.
No trip to Dubai is complete without a shopping spree at its glitzy malls and traditional souks, or marketplaces. The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence, an open-air promenade, comes alive during the winter months while Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall offer year-round opportunities to shop for luxury goods. For local souvenirs, hop over to Spice Souk, Perfume Souk or Gold Souk.
Dubai's sun-drenched coastline – stretching from Jebel Ali to Al Mamzar – is dotted with numerous public beaches, offering everything from energising water sports to tranquil swimming spots. Kite surfers and paddleboarding enthusiasts can head to Kite Beach, while sunbathers can relax at Sunset Beach.
Dubai is served by two airports, Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport, the former being one of the busiest airports in the world.

Deset safari is a great experience.
November 8, 2023
Deset safari is a great experience. We did one that included a night dinner in the desert. WE went to a cultural brunch at the centre of cultural understanding. I recommend this. the food was very traditional & very good. The discussion was most informative & very open. A day trip to Abu Dhabi which included the mosque & the Louvre was extraordinary. However, be aware that the UAE is a very expensive place. It may challenge your wallets.
Dubai is great.
November 7, 2023
Dubai is great. There are so many different things to see and do but one has to be careful and know what you want out of your trip. Choose your hotel based on what you intend to do. If you want to spend more time on the beach and restaurants then JBR is great. If you want to be close to malls then Al Barsha is an affordable option. Unless you're staying at the family resorts and your children love waterparks, Dubai might not be as enjoyable for the younger kids.

Louvre museum and Scheich-Zayid-Mosche have been exceptionell. Things everyone should do. Public parcs (near/at the beach) are very nice in case you dare to go out (because of the heat). Worthwile for a stroll in the evenings although you will not see many people on the parcs.

Verified reviews from real guests.
We have more than 70 million property reviews, all from real, verified guests .
How does it work?
It starts with a booking.
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

9 Absolute Best Dubai Tours & Excursions (2023)
By Author Jurga
Posted on Last updated: October 4, 2023
When we first visited Dubai, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. It turned out to be a beautiful trip with plenty of variation to keep the whole family happy and entertained for 10 days.
Dubai has so much to offer for all types of tourists that it might be overwhelming to know what to see and do first, and especially if you are short on time. So in this post, we are highlighting the very best Dubai tours and guided day trips to help you get the most out of your stay in Dubai.
No matter if you are visiting for a week or just making a short stopover in Dubai , consider booking at least a few of these tours. It’s the best way to see multiple facets of this extremely diverse city.
This is just a small hand-picked selection of the most popular Dubai tours and activities based on our personal experience, customer reviews, and price/quality ratio. Out of thousands of available tours in Dubai, we chose the very best ones. This should help you to save time and research and get the most out of your time in this fascinating city.
Best tours in Dubai:
- Burj Khalifa
- Dubai desert tours
- Water parks
- Dubai city tours
- Dubai Marina dinner cruises
- Sightseeing boat tours
- Camel rides
- Abu-Dhabi day trip from Dubai
- Other more unique activities in Dubai
Good to know: We recommend GetYourGuide for booking all your guided tours in Dubai because they have excellent customer service and the best cancelation policy on the market (better than anything you get if booking through other websites or directly).
Most tours may also be available on Viator . They also have a good cancelation policy; in most cases, better than when booking directly. But given the choice, we personally always use GetYourGuide.
These are the best tours in Dubai:
1. Burj Khalifa
If you visit just one place in Dubai, make it Burj Khalifa . This huge tower rising high in the middle of the desert symbolizes all that Dubai has become in such a short time. There are several options for Burj Khalifa tickets, but it’s a very popular attraction so make sure to book in advance.
- Burj Khalifa Tickets: Level 124 & 125 This is the most popular option when it comes to visiting Burj Khalifa – the entrance tickets to the 124th and 125th floors. Prices vary depending on the time of the day you visit (the hour around sunset is the most expensive as it allows you to see Dubai from above in daylight as well as in the dark). We opted for the later tour and night views and loved this experience!
- Burj Khalifa Tickets and Tour: Level 124, 125, and 148 . What makes this tour different from the first one is that you get to skip the lines, avoid the crowds and visit the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa which includes access to the outdoor terrace of the world’s highest observation deck.
And then you also have all kinds of combination tickets that can save you some money and time. Here are some of the best-rated Burj Khalifa combo tours :
- Dubai City Tour with Burj Khalifa Experience .
- Night City Tour with Burj Khalifa Tickets .
- Burj Khalifa Ticket with 1-Way Transfer from Your Hotel . The one-way transfer gives you the flexibility to stay and explore the Dubai Mall area longer after visiting Burj Khalifa. Afterward, you can easily take a metro or a taxi to get back – here you can read more about Dubai public transport .
TIP: Just next to Burj Khalifa are the famous dancing fountains of Dubai . A popular way to see the music and light fountain show is from the water, by taking a traditional boat tour on the lake .
2. Dubai Desert Tours
No visit to Dubai would be complete without a visit to the desert. Dune bashing in a 4WD is one of the most fun experiences you can have in Dubai, but there are so many ways to experience the desert…
From luxury private experiences to more touristy trips including camel rides, BBQ dinner under the stars, or a traditional dance performance… desert tours are a good way to experience a different side of Dubai.
Here are some of the most popular and best-rated Dubai desert tours, including the best Dubai desert safari deals:
- Dubai Red Dunes Premium Safari . This is by far the most popular of Dubai safari tours. It’s really catered for mass tourism, but when in Dubai, you have to experience all of this… We all loved the thrilling 4WD drive and the kids truly enjoyed the short camel ride, sandboarding, bbq dinner, traditional Tanura and belly dance shows, and all the other activities that came with this tour. There are many companies organizing a very similar tour in Dubai. The tour linked above has the very best customer reviews on all the major websites.
- Dubai Morning Safari: Red Dunes, Sandboarding & Camel Ride or Quad . This is a shorter version of the above tour (and organized by the same highly-rated tour company). It gives you the best experience of the desert (driving in the dunes) without all the other more tourist-oriented activities that you get in the evening. So if your main interest is to experience the Dubai desert, this might be a great option.
- Dubai Sunrise Balloon Flight with Breakfast & Falcon Photo . This tour offers a more luxurious and truly unique way to experience the Dubai desert. If your budget allows it, I wouldn’t hesitate!
- Desert Adventure Safari, Quad Bike, Camel Ride & more . This is a more adventurous Dubai tour that includes all kinds of fun outdoor activities in the desert.
3. Dubai Water Parks
Dubai has two major water parks – the Aquaventure at Atlantis The Palm and Wild Wadi near Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The price of the two parks is about the same and I really cannot say which one is better. We visited Aquaventure and loved it. If our kids had been taller, we would have definitely tried both parks (many water slides have 120 cm (a bit less than 4ft) height limit, but there are still really nice water play areas for the younger kids too).
Whatever you decide, make sure to book your tickets in advance as they are much cheaper online than at the entrance of the park…
- Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark .
- Wild Wadi Waterpark .
TIP: It’s worth noting that the entrance to Aquaventure is included for all hotel guests of Atlantis The Palm. If your family really likes waterparks it might be worthwhile looking into booking this hotel. In a less busy season and for families with up to 2 kids this might be a great option. Unfortunately, recently, they really hiked up the prices of the hotel. In any case, it’s worth checking the availability and prices for Atlantis The Palm if you haven’t booked a hotel yet.
TIP: Consider checking the prices for a family stay at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel as well. Guests of this hotel enjoy complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark. The same is true for the guests of Burj Al Arab Hotel , however, this luxury hotel is in a totally different price category…
4. Dubai City Sightseeing Tours
While you can see most of Dubai’s attractions individually, taking a city tour is a nice way to see all the main sights in a short time. We did a city tour one day at the beginning of our trip and it gave us a good overview of the city and the places that were potentially worth going back and exploring more.
There are several options for Dubai city tours, ranging from hop-on hop-off busses, guided city tours, and private tours… Some tours focus on the modern city, while some others bring you to the old town, or offer a combination of both…
Old Dubai is so very different than the modern parts most of the tourists visit. If you want to get a taste of more traditional Dubai, the way it was just a few decennia ago, don’t miss it!
Here are some of the best Dubai city tours:
- Old Dubai Culture, History, Souks & Street Food Walking Tour . This is the best tour of the historic Dubai.
- Half-Day Blue Mosque, Creeks & Souks Tour . This tour offers the quickest way to see some of the highlights you’d probably miss otherwise.
- Magical Dubai 8-Hour Tour with Burj Khalifa Experience. Similar tour to the previous one, but it’s longer and also includes tickets to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Aquarium.
- Dubai: Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour (1 to 7 Days) . This is a good way to see Dubai at your own pace.
5. Dubai Marina Dinner Cruise
Dubai Marina area is one of our favorites in the city. There are several ways to explore it: on foot, by bicycle, by water bus, or by boat.
The most popular option is the Dubai Marina cruise with dinner .
There are many companies running these tours. And yes, they are oriented toward tourists, but it’s a really nice experience. If you choose well, it may not cost that much more than just a regular dinner at the restaurant (check this post for more information about how much everything costs in Dubai ).
Here are some of the best-rated Dubai Marina tours:
- Dubai Marina Sightseeing Cruise – the most popular option for sightseeing.
- Luxury Dubai Marina Dinner Cruise – the most popular option for dinner.
- Alexandra Dhow Cruise in Dubai Marina is one of the best options we found when looking for a more local experience when we visited. The boat is a traditional Arabic wooden dhow and you get to see a live traditional Tanura dance performance as well. Once again, it’s tailored for tourists, but so is everything in Dubai.
We took this dinner cruise and really enjoyed it. There are many companies offering dhow dinner cruises, but most have really poor ratings. We chose this dinner cruise because of the good reviews and excellent price/quality ratio. It’s also one of the best options for families – kids under 6 travel free, and kids under 12 get a discount.
You can find similar dinner cruises on Dubai Creek as well. But we found that the Dubai Marina area is a much nicer and more spectacular place to be in the evening.
6. Dubai Sightseeing Boat Tours
Many sights of Dubai are best admired from the water. The best way to see the iconic sights like the Burj Al Arab, Atlantis Hotel, and the Palm Jumeirah, is by taking a boat.
Here are some of the best sightseeing boat tours in Dubai:
- Speedboat Tour: Marina, Atlantis, Palm & Burj Al Arab . This is the best-rated speedboat tours in Dubai. It’s a great way to see many landmarks in a short time.
- Dubai Private Sightseeing Tour by Luxury Boat . A highly-rated private luxury boat tour. Depending on the number of people in your group, this luxury option may not be much more expensive than a regular boat tour. Worth taking a look!
- Self-Drive Boat Trip . If you rather combine the thrills of riding your own speedboat and sightseeing, this is a great option for you. And don’t worry about not knowing where to go or how to steer the boat, a guide escorts you all the way.
7. Camel Ride Tours
The above desert tours only include a very short ride on the camel. If you are looking for a longer camel ride in Dubai desert, consider one of these highly-rated options.
However, be sure to check what’s included because longer camel tours are getting replaced by shorter rides.
- Desert Safari with Camel Ride .
- Sunset Camel Trek in the Desert .
8. Abu-Dhabi Day Trip from Dubai
With a driving distance of just an hour and a half, Abu-Dhabi is a very popular day trip from Dubai. Here are the best-rated and the most popular options:
- Abu Dhabi Full-Day Sightseeing Tour from Dubai . This is the most popular/best-rated day tour to Abu-Dhabi.
- Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Mosque Half-Day Tour from Dubai . Great for those who want to see the main landmarks in just a few hours.
- Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi & Grand Mosque Day Trip from Dubai . If you want to visit the Abu-Dhabi Louvre Museum, this tour is the best option.
- Abu-Dhabi Highlights & Ferrari World . Combine a visit to the city with the Ferrari World theme park.

Dubai is like a glittering oasis in a desert landscape. When you are approaching by road, the towering Burj Khalifa pierces the skyline, slowly guiding you into the city. Here are some tips on the best food in Dubai and how to enjoy it:
Street food: If you enjoy non vegetarian food, try some of the street food in Dubai’s Bur Dubai or Deira areas. Dubai’s traditional pizza, called Manousheh , is a delicious flatbread topped with salty Akkawi cheese, zaatar herbs and olive oil. Best had for breakfast, it comes along with a creamy labneh, jam, minced lamb and eggs. This is probably the best street food in Dubai! If you like spice, you can also try the Lahem Bl Ajin , Lebanese bread with spiced ground meat topping also known as “Arabian pizza”.
Traditional specialties: The famous Chelo Kebab is a combination of kebabs served with saffron-scented basmati rice, with a pat of butter added on. Likewise, Shish Tawook is a kebab served in traditional style and sandwiched in bread, while Al Machboos is a popular dish of rice and meat cooked together in one pot. Al Harees is a dish saved up for weddings, Ramadan and Eid in Dubai. Meat and wheat are baked together into a salty delight; you can’t stop at one.
Sweet delights: While on your Dubai trip, try some of the local sugary concoctions such as Luqaimat , a deep fried Ramadan special dumpling made of milk, sugar, flour, butter, cardamom and saffron. You can also try the Kanafeh , a traditional dessert made of rose syrup and sweet cream cheese and topped with chopped pistachios.
Vegetarian food in Dubai: Apart from Indian food, you can also try some local vegetarian specialties in Dubai, such as Tabbouleh which is made from tomatoes, green onions, cucumber and seasoned with lemon and fresh mint, or the Fattoush salad made with fried or toasted Pita bread pieces complemented with a lemon dressings and greens. Enjoy an adrenalin-pumping off-road dune bashing session of 30 to 40 minutes, and take gorgeous pictures of the sunset. Continue to a desert camp where you will enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner along with musical entertainment under the stars.
Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski resort in the Mid-East, is located inside the Mall of the Emirates, one of the most famous places in Dubai. Dhow Marina Cruise
The Dhow cruise is one of the most popular things to do in Dubai for most travellers visiting for the first time. The Dubai Marina, the world’s largest man-made marina, is a peaceful canal lined with famous skyscrapers like the Dubai Marina Mall and the Burj Al Arab. Sailing on the canal on a traditional wooden boat called “Dhow” is a wonderful experience. You will not only enjoy the boat cruise, but also get a great perspective of the wondrous architecture of the area from the boat accompanied by the sound of traditional music in the background. Depending on your preference, you can book a Dhow Cruise with Dinner, or a Sunset Dhow Cruise, or just a regular daytime cruise. Whichever Dhow Marina Cruise you book for your Dubai trip, you are sure to have a great experience!
This almost did not need to be said. Dubai and shopping go hand in hand! Whether you prefer to shop at the upscale Dubai malls such as the Dubai Mall , the Mall of the Emirates , and the Mercato Mall , go bargain hunting at the Dubai Outlet Mall , or stock up on jewellery at the Gold Souk Dubai , Dubai has a lot to offer the serious shopper. If you are looking for traditional products like textiles, ceramics, handicrafts, spices and other souvenirs to bring back from your Dubai holiday, we highly recommend a visit to Meena Bazaar in the Bur Dubai area. This is one of Dubai’s famous places for traditional shopping. If you are a really committed shopper, do consider booking your Dubai trip package to coincide with the Dubai Shopping Festival dates.
Party with a scenic view
Enjoy an evening out in Dubai with your friends and loved ones. We recommend an evening at Shimmers , one of Dubai’s famous places for a special meal. This beachside restaurant in Palm Jumeirah is known for its beautiful location and enchanting views of the Burj Al Arab. Enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in a casual yet intimate atmosphere. This is an ideal inclusion in a Dubai honeymoon package. You can also head to the Lounge at the Armani Hotel for an aperitif or nightcap in quiet luxury, enjoying an unforgettable view of the Dubai Fountain.
Jumeirah Beach Walk
Jumeirah Beach is very upscale and pleasant part of Dubai. The Walk at Jumeirah Beach is a popular open-air hangout full of fashion boutiques, retail stores, cafes and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy the incredible views of the water and the pleasant sea breeze, shop for unique handicrafts and designer products, and enjoy the buzzing vibe of this extremely chic walkway. This place is also where you are likely to see some of the best cars in the world! It is especially popular at night.
Here’s one for the adrenalin junkies. Skydiving in Dubai promises an opportunity to experience freefall right over the unique Palm Jumeirah landscape, or if you prefer it, over the desert outside the city. Experienced instructors guide you every step of the way, so that even beginners can try their first skydive in Dubai. Both tandem and solo skydives are available. It is a heavenly experience worth every second. A child-friendly setting to get a sense of skydiving is available at iFly Dubai , a 10m acrylic glass tunnel for an indoor skydiving simulation experience at Mirdif City Centre.

Gyrocopter Ride: If you wish to take a bird’s eye view of Dubai’s glittering skyline and cityscape, try the gyrocopter experience. This is a small private aircraft, rather like a helicopter, that seats two people and operates from the Dubai Marina. Along with your pilot, you will fly over the Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah, and past the Burj Al Arab. Enjoy the smooth 20 minute ride, with views of the brilliant blue ocean and the glittering skyscrapers of the city. Truly an experience for the ‘gram!
Stretch Limousine Ride: Feel on top of the world with a luxury ride around Dubai in a gorgeous Stretch Limousine with your own private chauffeur. The one hour drive around Dubai will take you past the city’s highlights like the Burj Al Arab, the Burj Khalifa and the upscale Mall of the Emirates. Enjoy riding around in your luxury vehicle and catching the eye of everybody you pass, as you sit back and relax in your comfy leather seats. This is the perfect insta-worthy experience to book on your Dubai trip if you wish to impress someone special or even plan a proposal!

Ques. How do I dress in Dubai?
Ans. While booking a Dubai travel itinerary, you must also know about the type of clothes to be packed. Visitors should stick to a modest and conservative dress code while in the Emirate. The best advice is to wear clothes that cover both your knees and shoulders. Both women and men should avoid excessively revealing or tight clothing. You may also carry a comfortable shawl or sweater while visiting public places in Dubai.
Ques. Which season is best for Dubai?
Ans. Most people prefer Dubai travel packages in the months between November and February. It is the best time in terms of the weather, with pleasant temperatures and a vast line-up of special events and festivals. The months from June to August are usually considered the off-season in Dubai for tourists due to an extremely hot weather.
Ques. What is famous in Dubai to buy?
Ans. Going on a Dubai travel expedition means making a list of all the attractive souvenirs that you can buy in the Emirate. Some of the top choices include the following: Diamond and gold jewellery items at considerably affordable prices. Intricately hand-crafted Persian carpets and rugs. Electronic goods at reasonable rates. High-quality Pashmina shawls. Arabian coffee pots and specialty coffee. Camel milk chocolate. Arabic attar.
Ques. Why is gold cheap in Dubai?
Ans. A large number of Dubai travel plans include shopping for gold during their stay in the Emirate. You will find numerous shopping malls and eateries open late along with beachfronts for lovely walks and even popular nightclubs. You may also check out the glimmering Jumeirah Beach Residence or Dubai Marina walks at night, with the fabulous skyline views, cafes and more.

When to go to Dubai? When going on trips to Dubai , it is worth considering the best time to travel and preparing accordingly. To this end, we have put together some practical information for you on climate, tourist seasons and organising your trip.
When deciding when to travel to Dubai , it is worth considering when to go to Dubai. The city has a subtropical climate , which means there are high temperatures all year round. The best time to visit Dubai is between November and March , when temperatures are moderate and humidity is lower. However, it is worth remembering that Dubai when to go also depends on individual preferences and the type of attraction planned.
Dubai is very hot for most of the year. From May to September, i.e. during the summer, the temperature often exceeds 40°C. The best time to visit Dubai is in autumn or winter , i.e. between the beginning of November and the end of March . It is then much milder and more pleasant, with temperatures around 20-25°C .
When preparing for a trip to Dubai, it is worth knowing some practical information. For Polish citizens, it is necessary to obtain a tourist visa, which entitles you to stay in Dubai for up to 30 days . It is also worth checking whether any vaccinations are required and familiarizing yourself with customs regulations on the import and export of goods. When planning a trip, it is also worth considering local customs and culture to avoid misunderstandings and respect the customs of the local community.
When planning a trip to Dubai, it is worth considering the length of your stay. The optimum time to explore the city depends on individual preferences and planned attractions. For those who are eager to explore the main sights and attractions , a week is usually sufficient . However, if you plan to relax on the beach, a longer stay, such as 10–14 days, is worth considering.
When deciding on an offer for a trip to Dubai , it is worth looking at different types of offers, such as last-minute or all-inclusive tours. In this section, we compare these two types of offers and give you tips on how to choose the best option for you.
Dubai last-minute tours are an option for people who want to save money on their trip, but are also flexible with their departure date. Last-minute Dubai tours offer cheap deals on tours that are available shortly before the departure date. To find the best last minute exotic deals, be sure to take a peek at our Low Fare Calendar. However, it's worth bearing in mind that last-minute tours may have limited availability and a smaller selection of hotels and attractions, so book your flights to Dubai now .
Dubai all-inclusive holidays are an option for people who want to have everything planned and paid for before departure. All-inclusive offers include flight, accommodation, food and various tourist attractions. The advantage of such an offer is convenience and not having to worry about additional costs during the trip. The disadvantages, however, may be a higher price compared to last-minute tours and less flexibility to change plans.
Interested in cheap last minute offers? Go to our Low Fare Calendar!
To check current deals on trips to Dubai, use the Low Fare Calendar or visit the Dubai Flights page . Be sure to also keep an eye on our promotions (such as Crazy Wednesdays , for example), which can reduce the price from the last verification. Remember, verifying the current price is key to finding the best trip deal.
When heading to Dubai, it's worth looking at different accommodation options. In this section, we will discuss Dubai hotels , tips for choosing a hotel and present the top-rated hotels in Dubai.
Wondering what the top-rated Dubai hotels are? The likes of Burj Al Arab, Atlantis The Palm and Armani Hotel Dubai have been leading the ranking for many years. Dubai's top-rated hotels are distinguished by their luxurious standards, excellent location and wide range of guest amenities. However, it's worth bearing in mind that they also often come with higher prices , so if you're betting on budget travel, consider other accommodation options .
When reviewing Dubai's most recently booked hotels , it is clear that tourists often choose properties of varying standards and prices. Among Dubai's most frequently booked hotels, there are both luxury and more economical options. The choice of hotel depends on individual preference and budget, so it is advisable to explore different options before booking. If you want to browse all the hotel deals in Dubai , be sure to visit Booking.com.
Check out Dubai Hotels on Booking and find your dream accommodation!
Before booking, it is worth paying attention to the details of the offer and the description of the hotel . Important aspects include the location of the hotel, the availability of amenities (e.g. swimming pool, spa, gym), the type of food and beverage, and reviews from other guests. Remember that carefully reviewing the hotel offer can help you avoid unpleasant surprises during your stay in Dubai.
What's worth seeing in Dubai? There is no shortage of attractions in Dubai that will delight beginners and advanced travelers alike. In this section, we'll outline Dubai's top attractions, as well as lesser-known but worthwhile destinations.
Want to know what the biggest malls in Dubai are? We rush to the answer. The largest shopping and entertainment center in Dubai (and the world!) is Dubai Mall , located next to the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa . There you'll find more than 1,200 shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as hotels, an ice rink, the Ski Dubai indoor ski resort and an underwater zoo.
What to see in Dubai? Explore Dubai and discover its most famous attractions , such as the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the Dubai Fountain. The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world and offers a spectacular view of the city. The Burj Al Arab is Dubai's iconic, sail-shaped luxury hotel, which can be admired from the outside or visited on special tours. The Dubai Fountain is another attraction that draws crowds of tourists—its water, light, and music shows take place several times a day.
What to see in Dubai? As well as the most famous attractions, it is also worth looking out for the less obvious places . Such attractions include artificial islands such as the Palm Islands .
Artificial islands are unique structures that can be admired from the air or visited by walking along their beaches and promenades. Traditional bazaars such as the Golden Souk or the Textile Market are also worth a visit, where you can feel the atmosphere of the old days and buy souvenirs and local products.
A metropolis located in the middle of the desert is an interesting combination. Want to find out for yourself?
Tours and attractions in Downtown Dubai
When planning what to see on your Dubai holiday, it is worth considering different sightseeing options depending on the length of your stay. Below is a sample Dubai sightseeing itinerary for 4 days:
- Day 1: Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Mosque, Jumeirah Beach and Jumeirah Palm Islands, Butterfly Garden and Garden of Wonders
- Day 2: Burj Al Arab Hotel, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain, Dubai Mall with Ski Dubai complex, Aquarium, Zebeel Park with Dubai Frame
- Day 3: Historic Bastakia Centre, Golden Souk, Textile Market, Dubai Museum, Sheikh Said House Museum
- Day 4: Desert tour and Safari, Visit amusement parks such as IMG Worlds of Adventure and Aquaventure Waterpark, evening stroll through the illuminated city
When organizing your time during a trip to Dubai , it's worth including both the best-known attractions and the less obvious ones to fully experience the charms of this remarkable city.
Dubai, a unique place on the world map, being one of the seven emirates that constitute the Arab Emirates . Before leaving, it is worthwhile to familiarize yourself with practical information on currency, prices and local cuisine. In this section, we will provide you with some basic information that will be helpful during your trip to Dubai.
Dubai holidays for the brave. 7 things you must do in Dubai
Dubai's official currency is the dirham (AED), which is divided into 100 filses. It is advisable to check the current exchange rate before you leave to avoid misunderstandings when making purchases. It is also worth remembering that payment cards are widely accepted in Dubai , but in some places, especially in traditional markets, it is better to carry cash. Currency exchange is best done at exchange offices or banks , avoiding places with higher commissions such as airports and hotels.
How much a trip to Dubai costs depends on several factors, such as the duration of your stay, the standard of your hotel and the attractions you choose. As for Dubai on-site prices, it is worth knowing that:
- Meal at a mid-range restaurant: 50-100 AED.*
- Public transport ticket: AED 3-8. A one-day city card costs around AED 23.*
- Burj Khalifa entrance ticket: from AED 149 to as much as AED 400.*
*The prices quoted are indicative. The date of the price consultation is 29.09.2023.
When planning your budget for a trip to Dubai, it's worth considering accommodation , transport expenses as well as tourist attractions and meals
What to eat in Dubai? This is a question you should know the answer to before you go. The local cuisine combines the flavors of Arabic, Persian and Indian cuisines, offering a wide variety of dishes. Here are some examples of dishes to try during your stay in Dubai:
- Shawarma: a traditional Arab dish of meat (chicken, mutton, or beef) wrapped in pita bread with vegetables and sauce
- Hummus: chickpea paste with olive oil, garlic and tahini, served with pita bread
- Tabbouleh: a salad of bulgur, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, mint and parsley, seasoned with lemon juice and olive oil
- Falafel: fried balls of chickpeas or broad beans, served with tahini sauce.
In Dubai, you can also sample dishes from other world cuisines, thanks to the wide range of restaurants serving international dishes. However, it is worth remembering that due to regulations, alcohol is only served in hote ls and designated areas.

Ed Sheeran Set to Perform Two Back-to-Back Concerts in Dubai
Ed Sheeran is returning to Dubai with not one, but two stadium concerts. The British singer-songwriter is set to perform two back-to-back shows at the Sevens Stadium in January 2024 as part of his +–=÷× Mathematics Tour.
With Sheeran returning to the city after almost six years, the shows on January 19 and 20 are certainly a highlight of the upcoming year. Not to mention that they are also being dubbed as the largest open-air concerts that the emirate has ever seen. While details remain minimal, the stadium has a capacity of over 60,000, with claims that the four-time Grammy award winner will use a round stage for the performance.
After a record-breaking tour in the United States, Sheeran is expected to wow audiences in Dubai with earlier hits such as The A Team and Perfect, along with songs from his latest albums Autumn Variations and – (Deluxe) , both of which were released earlier this year and immediately became chart toppers.
This sure-to-be unforgettable experience has been brought to Dubai by All Things Live Middle East and is supported by Dubai Calendar and Coca-Cola Arena. Thomas Ovesen, CEO of All Things Live Middle East, said, “We look forward to welcoming back one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time to the Sevens Stadium to perform his record-breaking Mathematics show. Fans will be treated to Ed Sheeran performing in the round, and for the first time in Dubai since 2017, having already wowed over 3 million fans with an incredible repertoire of music in the Mathematics ‘+ – = ÷ x’ Tour.”
