Uzui Tengen coming out of retirement to train the Demon Slayer Corps in the Hashira Training Arc

Are There ‘Demon Slayer’ World Tour 2024 Tickets? Answered

Image of Vanessa Esguerra

The  Demon Slayer: To the Hashira Training arc movie has been confirmed, but now what? Will it be available in your local cinemas, or will you have to wait for it to drop into your streaming service?

Even if you don’t get to watch the movie, it’s a combination of the last episode of  Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village and the first episode of the season after. But you’re just as hyped as every  Demon Slayer  fan, and your patience is growing thinner after almost a year without any new  Demon Slayer  content.

According to the World Tour 2024 trailer for  Demon Slayer , there will be more screenings available for the upcoming movie compared to  Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.   That’s comforting for everybody who wasn’t able to watch the last movie in their local theaters, but the Demon Slayer  World Tour 2024 will also have special screenings for select locations.

[ PROMOTION REEL 2024 ] Thank you for your support and see you in 2024. #DemonSlayer pic.twitter.com/oCivCWOsIA — Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (English) (@DemonSlayerUSA) December 10, 2023

Some of the cast members of the anime will be present at the special screenings, which will happen on the different dates below.

There are no tickets available for sale for the  Demon Slayer  World Tour 2024 Special Screening as of this moment, but the movie will be releasing soon in cinemas. Fans from the U.S. can anticipate ticket sales announcements going live on the Demon Slayer website. Based on ticket sales for Demon Slayer: Mugen Train , fans should also keep an eye out on Fandango , MovieTickets.com, and Atom Tickets.

From there, Parker Cannon, Kevin Geyer, Ryan Torf and Will Levy will head overseas for four gigs across Europe.

News of the upcoming UK and European tour comes in the run-up to The Story So Far releasing their new LP ‘I Want To Disappear’.

Set to arrive on June 21 via Pure Noise, it’ll mark the fifth studio album from the band, and features previously-released singles ‘Big Blind’ and ‘Letterman’ alongside seven brand new tracks.

Most recently, Parker Cannon and Co. shared the latest single from the project, ‘All This Time’ – a track which brings together the same catchy guitar riffs and immense drum fills that the group have become famed for over the years.

You can pre-order the album here , and find the full tracklist below.

The ‘I Want To Disappear’ tracklist is:

1. ‘All This Time’ 2. ‘Watch You Go’ 3. ‘Letterman’ 4. ‘Jump The Gun’ 5. ‘Big Blind’ 6. ‘Nothing To Say’ 7. ‘Keep You Around’ 8. ‘You’re Still in My Way’ 9. ‘White Shores’ 10. ‘I Want To Disappear’

“We kind of grew out of our 20s between this record and last” said Torf of the inspiration behind the album. “Like a lot of people, you go through so many different things in life and you’re faced with new challenges. As a band, when you go through hardships you realise that some things are more important than music.

“These can and do take priority over playing, and that can feel divisive. It’s sometimes necessary though, to get to where you want to go.”

Geyer continued: “We were waiting for all the stars to align for our individual situations so that this record could be the priority, and that we had the time and space to make it happen in the way that we wanted to. We went through a lot as people, and as a band, to discover what was working about it, and we leaned into that.”

Before the aforementioned UK and European tour, The Story So Far will be joining A Day To Remember on their summer jaunt, along with Four Year Strong , Militarie Gun , Pain Of Truth, and Scowl . Visit here for remaining tickets to US shows.

Kerry King Sheds Light on Slayer Reunion and What It Means

Kerry King of Slayer is discussing the Slayer reunion and whether it means new music or more tour dates are on the way.

Kerry King of Slayer – Author Charles Ken, Photo via Anne Erickson

When Slayer said farewell on their 2018 and 2019 tour, fans really thought this was it for the band. Fans didn’t expect a Slayer reunion. It wasn’t like when Motley Crue or Kiss said they were retiring, but pretty much everyone knew they would be back for more shows and big paydays. But, this year, Slayer announced that they’d be reuniting for a handful of music festivals this fall. It was odd timing, since Slayer guitarist Kerry King was just starting to promote his new, debut solo album, “From Hell I Rise.”

Kerry Kings Talks Slayer Reunion

Speaking with Eddie Trunk on Sirius XM’s Trunk Nation , King was asked about if the Slayer reunion had any impact, good or bad, on King trying to promote his new solo album and solo tour . He made it very clear that the Slayer shows are totally one-offs and that the reunion won’t mean a real tour or new music at any point. He also said the Slayer shows were a mixed blessing when it comes to his solo music.

“I see it both ways,” said King, as transcribed by Blabbermouth . “We’ve (Slayer) been turning down offers for the last four years. Unfortunately, when the right offer came around, this one, it was right as my project was releasing. So there’s certainly people, like my management and booking agents, who say, ‘Oh, that’s great. It’s gonna boost your solo thing.’ And I’m, like, ‘Well, I don’t know the business side of it, but it is what it is.'”

He added regarding the Slayer reunion, “And every time I talk about it to journalists and magazines and stuff, I say, ‘Listen, Slayer is not gonna make another record. Slayer is never gonna tour again.’ May Slayer do a one-off here or there? Maybe. I told my (solo) band when (the Slayer reunion shows) came up, I’m, like, ‘Listen, this is a blip on the radar to me.” He continued, “This isn’t a solo project that’s gonna recycle musicians every record cycle. You guys are with me till you don’t wanna be.'”

King continued, saying that he’s going to have his solo project be even more active in 2025 and that any additional Slayer performances after 2024 would be few and far between.

“I’m not even talking yearly,” he said of Slayer one-off shows. “I’m, like, every two years, every three years, every five years. I don’t know. ‘Cause I’m gonna be super busy with (my solo band) once 2025 rolls around.”

So, as King puts it, it’s pretty much a wash for him and his solo project. It’s not helping his solo music but it’s not hurting it, either. I tend to think it would help his solo music, since it rekindles the flame of the Slayer brand. Plus, as he mentioned, it’s not like Slayer are going to do a big tour or album release that would compete with King.

King added that he still hasn’t talked to his Slayer bandmate Tom Araya since the band played their final shows, at least for then, in 2019. “But you know what’s weird about that?” King said. “It’s not weird (laughs).”
