• Good morning, pick you up at Noi Bai International
• Airport and transfer to Hanoi Capital city.
• Check-in the hotel then have lunch at the restaurant.

• Good morning, have breakfast at the hotel.
• 7.30 – 8.00 AM: Pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter and transfer to Tam Coc.
• 8.00 – 10.00 AM: After two hours of transferring, our tour guide will introduce you to Vietnam as the history, culture, lifestyle of local people. On the conical hat, we will have a mini-game show to teach you how to say and write some Vietnamese simple words such as Xin Chào, Tạm Biệt, Tôi yêu Ninh Bình, etc. We will give you a little souvenir and you can wear it during the trip.
• 10 AM: We will prepare for a boat trip to visit the beautiful Tam Coc. It takes 1.30 hours rowing along the Ngo Dong river through the three mysterious caves. You can enjoy spectacular scenery surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone mountain peaks.
• 11.30 AM: We will get on Thanh pier for a short walk to visit Thai Vi Temple, which is one of the well-known temples in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. We will continue 10 minutes walking along majestic valley with rice fields, rivers and lotus ponds for Tam Coc Nature Lodge where we will relaxing

Accommodations were good especially Thang Long Espana Hotel (the Hotel Management automated upgraded us to VIP rooms.Is really unexpected). Overalled tours n places visited very well but only local guides r not good organizing the itineraries. Especially at Sapa Lao Cai and Cat Cat Villages walking tours push to the same day about 8hours for 7km (which is on 1st&2nd days arrival) so tiring. Lunch not good enough 4 so many hours of walking. In Danang Bana Hill the local guide shd arrange 2 visit Bana Hill 1st n not last coz' spend a short time n not nice photos taken due to rain (went in morning time no rain). 5days Hanoi-Tam Coc-Ninh Binh-Halong Bay

We are family of 6 from Singapore and Malaysia joining Hanoi Impress Travel on 30 October-04 November 2019. We are really impressed with the company and tour guides with their professionalism and well organised arrangement. Lily is our guide for Hanoi, Tam Coc and Ninh Binh. She is excellent and very informative. She even taking care of us until late night. We walk us from Old Quarters to the hotel and brought us to try the famous road side foods. She even helped us to pay for our order to avoid overcharge by the stall. Another guide, David BK (Swan Cruise) brought us to Halong Bay cruise. He is excellent and humorous. He handles everything throughout the trip. He served meals for guests on the cruise, organised happy hour, guiding us for Kayaking, teaching Taiji and cooking class on cruise. The cruise ship is ok and the hotel in Hanoi-Adamas Hotel is small but new and clean with reasonable ok breakfast. Anyway thank you for the wonderful arrangement.

Professional and well organized

We booked a 8 day private tour package for 9 persons for Northern and Central Vietnam . We experienced great and very professional service from the Impress travel team. I was searching for a reliable travel agent and come across Impress Travel and the many reviews of them. I booked 5D/4N, Hanoi-Trang An-Halong Bay private trip for a party of 6. The caves was spectacular and beautifully. 2D/1N Halong Bay – Swan Cruise was awesome with amazing view of the cave. Our guide Mr David was hilarious, helpful, accommodating, and everything was well organized. Beside the normal activities of kayaking, swimming, Tai Chi, culinary lesson, we are indeed very very fortunate to have the chance to celebrate the “Mooncake Festival” while cruising and admiring the full moon. Spread of mooncake, dessert, sweet snack, fruits, cocktail, beer and mini dragon dance complete the celebration. Tourists from all over the world party all night long.

Although we paid for a 3-star package, the hotel (Thang Long Espana Hotel), meals and transport provided were also above average. Our gang have a very enjoyable and memorable trip in Hanoi. Sorry for being late.

I tried to write you a letter several times, but I couldn't finish the letter. I don't know why.

I am still in winter vacation, so I have been very lazy, frankly speaking. And I miss you and the other good people I met in Vietnam. You cannot imagine how much it is!! As for our meeting, let's put it aside for my next trip, possibly that would be the coming August. At that time, we can have time to talk a lot about Vietnamese school system and other interesting things. Don't you think??

Is this right?  It has been 5 years since I was in your country. a long time, but I remember how bright and funny you were and also how polite!!! So, have you a family to look after now? A wife and some beautiful children?  I hope all is well with you and you have plenty of work to do. I am taking a break at my work as it is Christmas time here and everything stops and family get together. I know you have TET around the corner and I wish you much success and good fortune for the next year. Which animal will it be next year for TET, I wonder? And which year you born in?  I am still working with flowers. Iam known as a florist and my job keeps me pretty busy. I enjoy it very much as I love to make beautiful things from flowers and stones, dried things from Mother Nature and sometimes with man made stuff as well. Welcome to Vietnam:  after long time on airplane, you will reach Vietnam – the S-shaped land, where 54 different ethnic minorities inhabited.

In the morning

• On your arrival in Hanoi airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and driver then transferred to your hotel in Hanoi
• You will visit a local restaurant for lunch

In the afternoon

• At 14:00, you will firstly leave for The Tran Quoc Pagoda , which is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, is located on a small island near the southeastern shore of Hanoi's West Lake. Then you may spend time walking around the West lake to enjoy the fresh air of the biggest lake in Hanoi
• Next you will be transferred to Dong Xuan market . This is the largest covered market of Hanoi where the wholesale traders sell everything from clothes, household goods to foodstuffs.
• Walking along the street you will reach Temple of Jade Mountain sitting on a small island in the northern part of Hoan Kiem Lake and dedicated to the King Tran Hung Dao

• 13:00 – 15:00: A sumptuous lunch is served while cruising into the magnificent Halong Bay with its thousands of extraordinarily shaped limestone islands, considered as the heaven on the Earth.
• 15:30 – 17:00: Explore the Lờm Bò area and be charmed by this outstanding masterpiece of Mother Nature. Visit Mê Cung Cave – one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay and climb up to see the panoramic view of the bay from above.
• 17:00 – 19:00 p.m: Return to the LaFairy Sails for a Sunset party to admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set. Take pleasure in a fruit carving demonstration.

In the evening

• 19:00: Savor a sparkling and dreamlike dinner on top deck under the light of a thousand stars in middle of the tranquil Bay with extremely delicious food and be awed by a fascinating fruit and vegetable carving show. Useful information for travel in Vietnam

What’s the difference between 3, 4, and 5 -star hotels?

We usually arrange centrally-located and Western-standard hotels. Five-star hotels are usually palatial with huge lobbies and comfortable rooms, their standards not quite matching the best of Paris or New York, but very close. Four-star hotels have quality facilities, but not as luxurious as five-star hotels. Three-star hotels meet the needs of most Westerners, but breakfasts have less choice. We also recommend some courtyard hotels or Vietnamese-style hotels with local features and architecture. These hotels have a good ranking, or positive feedback from our customers, and TripAdvisor. Usually, hotels in big cities, small cities, and rural areas are a bit different, even if they have the same star level. We try to use the best available hotel in each place.

Passport & Visa Requirements

You may be required for visa to Vietnam. Please check the list of countries which need visa to Vietnam in this links: Who need visa to Vietnam? Vietnam Visa is issued by Vietnam Embassy in your country or “Visa on arrival”. Travel Sense Asia will offer free visa to Vietnam for you (except some difficult countries). You will need one clear page (per visa) in a full passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of your departure from Vietnam.

Currency Exchange

As currency exchange rates in Vietnam fluctuate, we suggest you refer to the following website for daily exchange rates: www.xe.com or www.vietcombank.com In 2016 the USD & VND has been around 22.500VND per USD. There are many ATM machines that accept both Visa and Master card, but these are limited to cities. We also recommend the use of cash and travelers checks in USD currency. Major credit cards are accepted in most shops, but they may charge a 2–4% transaction fee.

It is customary to tip service providers in the travel industry in Asia, depending on the service. Tipping is expected — though not compulsory — and shows an expression of satisfaction with the people who have assisted you on your tour. Recommendations for tipping drivers (3 USD per person per day as a guideline) and local guides (8 USD per person per day as a guideline) would depend on the quality and length of the service. In additionally, you will sometimes use rolling boat, cyclo riding, porter which you should give a small tip to these local people.

Eating is an important part of your Vietnam experience. Generally, breakfasts are included in the itinerary and offered by hotels. Travel Sense Asia recommend local Vietnam restaurants that are popular with local people for lunch. You can order dishes with the help of your guide. We usually leave dinner for your own choice — Western food can be found in most large cities. If you are vegetarian or you are looking for e.g. halal food, please feel free to inform your travel advisor, who can arrange a restaurant to fit your needs.

We use comfortable sedans or vans with air-conditioning. The comfort and safety of our customers is of utmost importance, so we ensure that all of the vehicles that we use are well maintained and always very clean. Our drivers take pride in their vehicles. Our car and van are always available space for a comfortable trip. Luggage - All clients are limited to two items of luggage each; a suitcase with a maximum weight of 20kg and one piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 7kg. It is essential that your luggage is lockable. Please note that authorities will only allow bottles onto the aircraft if they have been checked in as main baggage. Bottles in hand luggage may be confiscated.

In Vietnam the standard voltage is 220 V. The standard frequency is 50 Hz. The power sockets that are used are of type A / C / G. Climate - You will find a complete packing list and a helpful climate chart in the ‘Suggested Packing List’, which is included in the pre-departure information link sent within your deposit documentation. Vietnam tour package for 5 days: travel from hanoi to halong bay.

We will spend a night on L’Azalee Deluxe Cruise (5 star) cruising through Halong Bay, kayaking, visit the Cave of Surprises, Titov Island, Tuan Chau Island and enjoy nice view of Halong Bay view on the cruise ship. While you in Hanoi(3 nights in Hanoi), we will do the Hanoi Tours visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilts House, Ho Chi Minh Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, West Lake, Tran Quoc  Pagoda, Ngoc Son Temple, Opera House etc.

Vietnam Tour Package for 5 days Hanoi Halong Bay is the classic and must do for evernony who are visiting Hanoi Vietnam for the first time.

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

• Arrive at Hanoi airport.
• Check in hotel.
• After dinner, back to hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

08.30am: After breakfast, start visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Museum , Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside). Guests can take some photos at Ba Dinh Square . Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Stilts House , where Uncle Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. The next place to move to is One Pillar Pagoda – a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Then we leave the pagoda for the Temple of Literature – the first college of Vietnam and the place dedicating to Confucian.

12:00 hrs: Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

01.00 pm: After lunch, visit Opera House , it’s an over a century old national landmark due to its neoclassical French architecture and Gothic embellishments. After that we back to downtown for refreshment by the Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple before taking cyclo tour through the Old Quarter (On guests’ own account), also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and  shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities.

Late afternoon enjoy watching a Water Puppet Show for one hour, it’s an unique traditional performance of Vietnam. After dinner, back to hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi to Halong Bay

00.00 hrs: After breakfast transfer to Halong (Approx. 3 hours).

12:00 hrs: Arrive at L’Azalee Cruise Lounge at Tuan Chau Marina (Halong Bay).

12.30 hrs: Board the boat and enjoy welcome drinks during short briefing on itinerary and safety.

13.00 hrs: Begin you vacation with a set lunch on the covered sundeck as the boat cruises southeast through Halong Bay, passing Chicken Rock and Finger Islet.

14.45 hrs: Shore excursion visit the Cave of Surprises, Halong’s largest cave, known for its beutiful stalactites and stalagmites.

16.00 hrs: Visit a floating pearl farm and kayak the surrounding waters.

18.00 hrs: Back on board, enjoy a cooking and fruit craving demonstration on the sundeck (or down below in your sitting room in case of inclement weather) while the boat cruises to the designated overnight area.

19.30 hrs: Set Menu Dinner is served.

21.00 hrs: Film is showing, or try your hand at evening squid fishing or relax in your cabin. Overnight on board.

•  Please inform our staff immediately if you are suffering from Persistent Cough, Short of Breath, High Fever.
• Timings and program on the above itinerary may be flexible, advanced or delayed without prior notice depending on various factors
• Smoking in the cabins or restaurant is not allowed.
• Throwing Garbage in Halong Bay is strictly prohibited, kindly use garbage bins at all time.

Day 4: Halong Bay to Hanoi

07.00 hrs: Breakfast can be served anytime from 7am onwards. Please advise the host the evening before what time you would like to have breakfast.

08.30 hrs: Swim at the beach on Titov Island or hike to the top for panoramic views of the bay.

09.00 hrs: Return to your boat, freshen up and continue crusing north again towards Tuan Chau Island.

09.45 hrs: Check out, return room key to host.

10.00 hrs: Enjoy a light lunch at the restaurant while the boat heads back to the harbour.

11.15 hrs: Disembark at L’Azalee Cruise Lounge, Tuan Chau Marina.

11.30 hrs: Pick up and transfer back to Hanoi. (take around 3 hours)

03.00 hrs: Visit Hanoi Old Quarter.

06.00 hrs: After dinner, back to hotel. Tour ends.

Day 5: Hanoi - Departure

Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, visit West Lake, Tran Quoc  Pagoda, Ngoc Son Temple, Opera House.

After lunch, transfer to airport and departure.
