Dyne Hong praised, "a tour de force of entertainment," complimenting the visuals and stage designs, which made it "unforgettable." Hong added, "the expertly-crafted stage, high-energy crowd, stunning special effects, and multiple encores made for a truly theatrical experience." [4] In a review for San Francisco Chronicle , Todd Inoue detailed, "he took the audience through an emotional 2½-hour journey split into four acts: Fame, Isolation, Redemption and Acceptance. Each segment was broken up by video vignettes, signaling a momentum shift." Inoue continued, "After 25 songs, the concert was Wang's epiphanic statement on the price of fame and the value of personal power. More impressive than his physical feats was his mindset—he was less of a magician and more of a motivator, imploring his fans to manifest the magic inside them." [5] Writing for Atlas Artist Group, Olivia Khiel similarly called it "unforgettable," summarizing, "The first half of his extensive set let us into his emotional, vulnerable side while also getting the audience up to dance along." Of the final half, they said, "When Wang next emerged, the energy shift from restrained to aggressive was palpable. […] He's not afraid to explore his seductive side, a fact that everyone in attendance was more than happy to witness." [6]

Jackson Wang is getting ready to hit the road. On Wednesday (Sept. 28), the GOT7 member announced his plans for a world tour in support of his recently released album, Magic Man .

Wang revealed the details of his 2022-2023 trek via his social media accounts, excitedly writing, “Finally. The 1st time in my life I get to properly tour now. After all this … MAGIC MAN WORLD TOUR 2022-2023 #MAGICMAN is coming. See u there. I promise it’s different.”

In 2023, the 28-year-old will take his tour to London on Jan. 12, and to Paris three days later on Jan. 15. Dubai is also getting a visit, with Wang performing on Feb. 4. The tour poster, which features the singer in a leather jacket, states “and more,” hinting at possible tour dates to come.

Wang released Magic Man , his second solo studio album, on Sept. 9; it debuted at No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The set charted even higher on Billboard ‘s Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts at No. 3.

Speaking with People , Wang explained that Magic Man is “way more extreme than all the stuff that I’ve released in the past. And I think it’s because on this album, I’m in my most raw form that I’ve ever been in my career as a solo artist, just not caring about whoever I was and whatever I had before. And [I] just want to go for being completely me and with no filter.”

The album received widespread critical acclaim from the likes of Associated Press, NPR, Vulture, The Daily Beast, Consequence, UPROXX, and more. Jackson Wang is a Chinese singer, record producer, creative director, and founder of TEAM WANG. Jackson was a sabre fencer for Hong Kong's fencing team-He was ranked eleventh in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. And throughout Jackson's sports career, he won first place at three Asian competitions, three national competitions, and nine international and Hong Kong competitions.

In 2014, Jackson debuted as a member of JYP entertainment's K-pop group GOT7 in Korea. In 2017, Jackson Wang founded TEAM WANG. In 2021, Jackson Wang left JYP entertainment and came back to TEAM WANG in China, and started releasing his solo music. Jackson Wang has announced concerts in London, Paris, Singapore, Dubai and more as part of his ‘MAGIC MAN’ world tour.

The tour was confirmed by concert promoter AEG Presents on social media on Wednesday (September 28). The tour currently consists of six dates: three this year, and three next year. More shows are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The first six shows will take Jackson Wang to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, London, Paris and Dubai. Wang will seemingly kick off the tour in Bangkok, Thailand on November 26, before performing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on December 17. He will then perform in Singapore on December 23.

Jackson Wang’s three announced shows for 2023 so far will take him across the globe to London on January 12, Paris on January 15 and Dubai on February 4. Venue and ticketing information for these shows have yet to be announced.

Jackson Wang most recently released his solo album ‘Magic Man’ in September. The record received a glowing four-star review from NME , with reviewer Tanu I. Raj writing: “‘Magic Man’ is where Jackson Wang steps up and fully embraces his own potential”.

In 2022, singer and producer Jackson Wang (Hong Kong, China) released his sophomore album MAGIC MAN (TEAM WANG records/88rising Records/Warner Records/RYCE MUSIC GROUP), which quickly became his highest charting album, debuting at No. 15 on the Billboard 200. It also debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales & Top Album Sales. The album was met with widespread critical acclaim from NPR, UPROXX, Consequence, The Daily Beast, Vulture, and more. It features the standout singles “Blow,” “Cruel,” and “Blue.”

Jackson performed his latest single “Fire to the Fuse,” the theme song for Riot Games’ League of Legends new Empyrean skin line, at the Nov 2022 League Of Legends Worlds Championship Opening Ceremony alongside Lil Nas X in San Francisco. The track peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Song Chart.

In addition to this, Jackson made history at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as the first-ever Chinese solo artist to perform on the Coachella main stage as part of 88rising’s ‘Head In The Clouds Forever’ set. Jackson also headlined this year’s 88rising ‘Head In The Clouds’ Festival (alongside the likes of NIKI, Rich Brian, Joji and more) at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.

The release of MAGIC MAN follows the successful release of 2021’s singles “Drive You Home” and “LMLY,” which have garnered over 50 million and 93 million streams respectively. Both singles charted on the U.S. Top 40 chart. In the Fall of 2019, Jackson released his critically acclaimed debut solo album, MIRRORS, which debuted at No. 32 on the Billboard 200. With MIRRORS, Jackson became the highest-charting solo artist debut from China.

HIStory World Tour: 1996 – 1997

The HIStory Tour was Michael’s last solo tour, which started on September 7th 1996 and ended on October 15th 1997. It consisted of 82 concerts and was seen by approximately 4.5 million people. It was his most popular tour, based on attendance and how much money it made.

During the HIStory Tour, not only was Michael the first pop artist in history to sell out Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii; but he actually performed there twice…both shows a sell out.
