Making Memories Travel is a full-service travel agency providing a variety of travel-related services to all types of travelers including families, solo-travelers, group trips, multi-generational vacations, and everything in between. 

We are able to create custom itineraries, plan your dream destination wedding or honeymoon, or work with you create the perfect trip to fit your needs. 

When you decide you want to book a trip, you contact Making Memories Travel via our Google Trip Request form, email, phone, or Facebook to tell us a little bit about what you are hoping to plan for your trip. 

We provide you the option of meeting with us via Zoom, phone, or just communicating through email to begin the planning process to determine the basic details of your trip: destination, type of trip (resort, cruise, eco-adventure, honeymoon, etc), budget, travelers, and when you want to travel. 

Submit your request TODAY!

Once we figure out the basic details (destination, budget, dates, and who is going),  the real fun begins! I begin designing your custom itinerary and send you an initial trip proposal for review. I try to provide at least 2-3 options that fit the criteria you provided within your proposal. 

Once your trip proposal is approved by you, I work closely with the various vendors and tour operators to confirm and book each piece of your custom itinerary. All elements of your trip will be presented to you in a customized itinerary via the Trip Plans app prior to your departure. This will allow you to easily access and view your trip from your mobile device.

It's time to head off on your trip and create memories to last a lifetime. While you are gone, Making Memories Travel will be available to you 24/7 in case you need anything during your trip.

We like to offer your group something unique, we specialize in sprinkling our tours with little mystery stops along the way. Every year, Making Memories Tours takes part in numerous travel shows (NTA, ABA, Heartland Travel Showcase, Travel South, Circle Wisconsin and more). At these travel conferences we meet with hundreds of vendors representing over a thousand hotels and attractions, all in an effort to help our travelers make some memories.

Balloon Fest

Earned Space – Scheduled Tours All Motorcoach tours offer one earned trip per 24 paying passengers, two earned with 30 paying and three earned with 40 paying. Maximum of three earned per tour. Air/Cruise tours offer generous incentives but are tour specific. Each tour will have earned and discounted amounts specific to the tour. Customized tours: Group Leader determines the number of earned trips.

Yes, we can take the information that you provide us and create a trip around that area, venue, or experience. We will contact the points of interest and get the best timing, pricing, and accommodations we can, to meet the needs/requests of our clients. We are also able to give you ideas for places to visit based on where your group is coming from and what their interests might be. For example, if a group of quilters want to go to a quilt show, shop for materials or take classes, we can arrange that for them.

We can work with groups of all sizes. We require a minimum of 24 in a group. However, the larger the group, the better pricing we can provide. We can create a tiered pricing structure for your group if necessary. For Example, 24, 30, etc. We can work with providing tiered pricing, even for fundraising groups. The Group Leader will provide to Making Memories Tours what they are looking for on their return. I.E., $25 per person, $50 per person, etc. Traditionally, minimums are around 22-24 people per trip. To take advantage of group pricing with hotels, we will need a minimum of 12 rooms.

At Making Memories, we want everyone to feel welcome - we absolutely encourage any number of travelers. Our clients make fast friends and we can help you get acquainted with other travelers!

YES! Most group leaders enjoy leading their own group, however we can provide a Making Memories Tours "Tour Manager" as an option should the need arise.

Yes! We try and stop every 2-2.5 hours for a convenience stop. There is a restroom on the motorcoach for those can’t wait moments.

Yes, we offer trip insurance. We work with one of American’s Premier Travel Insurance Agency. Contact our office for more details. (888) 845-9582.

As you sign up for your trip there will be dates for deposits and payments and you can look over the cancelation policy as every trip is different.

Meal tips are always included, and, on some occasions, other tips are included. The Itinerary and Inclusions will list which are included. Generally, tips for drivers or Tour Managers are NOT included. (Tip guidelines for a good job are generally $3-$4 dollars a day each.)

We ask that everyone bring 1 piece of luggage. You may bring a carry-on or personal item, with a weight limit of 50lbs. Baggage handling is included at all hotels for your convenience.

We make every effort to accommodate food allergies. There is a place on your registration form that indicates this. We can only assist if you notify us at least 14 days in advance of your tour. **Please note that Making Memories Tours does everything we can to ensure your food allergy is accommodated, however we cannot guarantee NO CROSS Contamination in any public setting.

YES! We rate every tour by the activity level you will experience. They are rated to the best of our ability: Levels Below:

Tours will be rated on “could be” Activity Level

1 – Low Level: minor walking, minor standing, minor activity

2 – Medium Level: Medium walking, possible stairs, some standing

3 – Higher Level: More walking, stairs, standing, all combined possible

We took a glass blowing class making ornaments. It was so much fun! It was the perfect balance of hands on & assurance. Such a unique & fun experience! Highly recommend doing!

Amazing birthday fun! Even in the heat of summer, it was not that bad for an hour. The guys are so helpful and personable. H has Parkinson's and they helped him every step of the way. VERY safe, but still hands-on. It was a really fun, unique experience!

We had the best experience at Gather Glass. The instructors were amazing with us and our 12 year old. They stepped through everything first and then stayed with us each step. They provided enough assistance to ensure the project came out correctly but still making sure it felt like our own. Wish we were local to go back for more! And their in store pieces for purchase were gorgeous!

Brian and Vinnie were amazing hosts and instructors. They made sure we followed safety protocols while giving us the most intentional and patient coaching. We learned so much about the glass blowing process and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We even received a commemorative photo! If I could rate 10 stars, I would.

We had such a fun experience for my wife’s birthday! Our instructor, John, was amazing, really helped us with our pint glasses and gave us a great understanding of the glass blowing process. We got to pick out the color flakes for our glasses, form the molten glass and shape the pint glass. We loved it so much, we plan on going back in the future! Definitely a must do in Providence!
