Malaysia has an equatorial season characterized by heat, humidity, rain, and two monsoon seasons on opposite sides of the country year-round.

• East Coast: The wet season is between November and February, with sunny, dry weather from April to October.
• West Coast: The wet season is from April to October with sunny and dry weather from November to February.

That being said, there is always somewhere to go and experience perfect weather in Malaysia at any time of the year. Chinese New Year is celebrated in January or February depending on the lunar calendar, while the cultural Georgetown festival held in Penang every August is the perfect chance to sample the best of international and local films, art, theatre, and dance.

Accommodation

Malaysia has a host of accommodation at a range of prices. Budget rooms go for as little as $14 per night while mid-range 3 and 4 star properties can cost anywhere from $32 – $80. Free Wi-fi can be found in most cafes, restaurants, guesthouses and hotels. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. A few issues before the start of the tour, not being picked up at the airport and no information as to when and where to meet, but once the tour got underway it was excellent. Very knowledgeable tour guides and beautifully locations . Would highly recommend it.

Madrid and Barcelona

Overall was a good experience! Tour guides were very friendly and helpful! The tour had a good balance where you had enough freedom to explore places on your own while also following a schedule. One thing I wasn't satisfied with was that the tour is advertised as a 5 day tour even though the first day of the tour starts in the evening and the last day is literally just free breakfast from the hotel. So in total it's only like 3 full days of the tour.

Paris and London

Our guide was hard to understand. She left us in a location when we weren’t even late to the bus, yet would often leave us waiting on the bus while she searched for other people. Not sure how you qualify for the special treatment instead of being left in a foreign city. In addition, I had my 72-year-old mother with me. The guide always took off without waiting for everyone to get off the bus, leaving the rest of us scrambling to keep up. The transport service to the hotel in Paris was substandard. Even after I kept in constant touch with him, the driver left us because immigration took too long. Another driver was found but left us waiting while he searched the airport for other people. Once in the van, he was texting on his phone the entire time, which made us nervous. The Hilton in Paris was wonderful. The Novotel was also nice but the Ibis hotels were substandard, especially the one in Rouen. The transport from the hotel to Heathrow was wonderful.

Overall a good tour experience for people travelling into Europe for the first time. It provides most of the transportation and uses a good schedule to see the highlights of many places.

Was great. We really enjoyed the trip.

South of Spain with Lisbon

The tour was wonderful! The stops were well chosen and was perfect for me as a first-timer in Spain and Portugal. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable. The hotel accommodations were a hit and miss though depending on where we stopped. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend it, especially for anyone looking to get a taste of Southern Spain and Portugal.

Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague

The tour was good. The hotels were great and the breakfasts were plentiful. The bus driver was very safe and helpful with bags. The guides were of varying satisfaction. I was disappointed that the itinerary stated key sights we would visit but we didn’t actually go inside and free time didn’t allow for all the visits I wanted to do and we didn’t see everything on the itinerary. It was a good taster trip. I see much more on my own.

The Great Adventure

The trip was great. My concern is with the tour guide Antia, one morning she wasted everybody on the buses time by waiting more than 30 minutes for a couple who was always running late. This caused a ripple effect and caused us to miss our boat tour and have to take it an hour later then consequently affecting the rest of our day. Because of this we only had 30 minutes to explore Rouen. And when we arrived to Rouen the stores were all closing. When the bus passengers asked her why they couple couldn’t just meet us at our next stop about 30 minutes away instead of causing all of us to miss our boat trip, she yelled at me on the bus in front of all other passengers. Please make sure you give your tour guides some training in basic manners.

All Europe Europamundo Tour Reviews

This is my second tour with Europamundo. The first was not all that great, but I was partially to blame so I decided to give them another shot. This tour includes stops at locations that are in line with what one would expect to see in the cities included. The transportation is decent and comfortable. Another family and I were asked if we would mind going on a different tour bus because of seating space. Once on the bus it was conducted entirely in Spanish and we had to remind the guide that there were English speakers on board. The city tours provide a lot of information and scenic memories. Make a note that it says on the last day the end of services is after breakfast. Actually, after the city tour in Paris the day before the end of the tour you will get dropped off by the L'ouvre under the premise of a "free day" and you are on your own to get back to your hotel. The accommodations are about a 7.5/10. In Amsterdam I was at the Radisson Blu. It was a nice full service hotel. Daily breakfast was good. Room was comfortable and clean. However, it is not located by anything but warehouse/industrial buildings. However, in Paris We stayed at the Residhome Aparthome in Nanterre. The location is great!!! Lots of restaurants and buzzing college town. However the accommodations were horrid. Specifically my room #209 had old peeling furniture and mildew on the roof and doorways. I took pics and will upload. The staff were French speaking only. Overall, the tour is good. Saw lots of sights and made lifetime memories. Europamundo needs to do a little more fine tuning to be sure the tours run a little more smoothly. I will say I would consider doing another tour with them. Considering the price the value matches what was paid.

Wonderful cities, well-organised, and great value. Shout out to our guide, Jacob, who was as informative and professional as you'd expect, but also adaptable when things out of his control were going wrong (traffic, weather, etc.) And the driver, Nathan, who was always helpful and reliable - almost like a second tour guide.
