SeaWorld Orlando Experience Guide

Want to make a splash on your next family vacation? Make your way to SeaWorld Orlando. Home to an ocean of undersea creatures, some truly impressive roller coasters and the kid-friendly Sesame Street Land.

So, put on your Splash Zone poncho and dive into this guide to SeaWorld Orlando, Florida’s coolest theme park.

Visiting SeaWorld Orlando

Is it a SeaWorld Orlando 2022 trip for you and your crew? Start planning your vacation here.

SeaWorld Orlando Hours

SeaWorld hours can vary greatly from day to day and even week to week no matter what month you visit. Seriously, there’s no real rhyme or reason – one Tuesday it’s 10 AM-6 PM, then a few weeks later it’s 9 AM-8 PM.

Needless to say, if you’re hoping to have as much time in the park as possible – especially since most shows at SeaWorld last around 20 to 25 minutes – be sure to check the calendar when planning your visit. In general, SeaWorld Orlando opens at 9 AM or 10 AM, while park close ranges from as early as 5 PM or 6 PM at the beginning of the week to as late as 9 PM or 10 PM on Fridays and weekends.

Getting to SeaWorld in Orlando

Whale in water at Seaworld

Located at 7007 Sea World Drive just off International Drive, SeaWorld Orlando is in the heart of tourist central. Best of all, at roughly a 16-minute drive from Disney Springs and around 20 minutes from Universal Orlando , it’s an easy add-on for your next trip to Central Florida .

Parking at SeaWorld

Unfortunately, parking at SeaWorld Orlando isn’t free – unless you have a Silver, Gold, or Platinum Annual Pass, that is. General Parking is $30 per vehicle most of the year, or $35 if you visit during certain holidays.

You also have the option to upgrade your parking. Preferred Parking spots are closer and just slightly more expensive, starting at $35 per vehicle, while the closest VIP Parking spaces nearest the entrance start at $45 each.

SeaWorld Orlando Tickets, Annual Passes & Add-Ons

Wondering how much it costs to go to SeaWorld Orlando? Not sure what kind of tickets to get? We’ve got the answers.

Overall, guests can choose between several single-day or multi-park tickets – or a Fun Card or annual pass, if you’re planning on going a bunch. Here are the current SeaWorld Orlando ticket prices when purchased directly through the park (or skip ahead if you’re looking for discounted SeaWorld tickets ):

Single-Day SeaWorld Orlando Tickets

When it comes to single-day tickets, you’ll have to decide if you want to go the cheaper route and book a ticket for a single specific day or go for the more expensive – and more convenient – Any Day Ticket. Whichever option you choose, you can also opt to add on the All-Day Dining deal (more on that later).

Stingray against tank

Since you need to choose a travel date in advance, standard Single-Day SeaWorld Tickets do take some planning. However, since prices increase during busy periods, you can really save some money if you’re able to travel during the slow season.

In contrast, Any Day tickets allow you to show up to the park any day you like within six months of purchase. But keep in mind that you will be paying for that convenience with steeper ticket prices.

Single-day ticket prices, including taxes and fees, through SeaWorld Orlando are:

  • Single-Day Ticket – As low as $105.83
  • Single-Day Ticket + All-Day Dining – As low as $143.10
  • Any Day Ticket – $136.72
  • Any Day Ticket + All-Day Dining – $184.63

Multi-Park SeaWorld Tickets Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando may be the main event, but it isn’t the only aquatic-inspired destination in the family. Discovery Cove, an all-inclusive luxury theme park, and Aquatica, the brand’s incredible waterpark , are both right next door. Plus, don’t forget Busch Gardens Tampa , their wild cousin.

If you’ve got time to see them all, or maybe even just one more, consider buying a Multi-Park SeaWorld Ticket instead. Just choose how many parks you’d like to visit – two, three or all four (Discovery Cove not included).

Whale jumping out of water at SeaWorld

Multi-park ticket prices, including taxes and fees, through SeaWorld Orlando are:

  • Two Park Ticket – $137.31
  • Two Park Ticket + All-Day Dining Deal – $190.82
  • Three Park Ticket – $170.48
  • Three Park Ticket + All-Day Dining Deal – $250.74
  • Four Park Ticket: Unlimited Visits + Free Parking – $245.30

Orlando SeaWorld Annual Passes & Fun Card

Like SeaWorld so much that you want to go again and again and again? You might want to buy a SeaWorld annual pass or Fun Card.

Consider your SeaWorld Orlando Fun Card a less-powerful annual pass. In other words, while you can visit as many times as you’d like (sort of), there will be blockout dates. Plus, unlike an actual annual pass, you won’t receive merchandise or dining discounts or free parking.

In contrast, along with your admission, SeaWorld annual passes come with a variety of benefits depending on which pass you choose, such as complimentary guest tickets, free parking & photo downloads, discounts, no blockout dates and much more.

Options, with taxes and fees, start at:

  • SeaWorld 2022 Fun Card – $139.91
  • Bronze Annual Pass – $176.13 or $13/month + tax
  • Silver Annual Pass – $233.64 or $17.50/month + tax
  • Gold Annual Pass – $275.18 or $20.75/month + tax
  • Platinum Annual Pass – $478.65 or $36.50/month + tax

SeaWorld Orlando Discount Tickets

Don’t want to pay full price? Us either! That’s why we partner with Undercover Tourist to bring you awesome deals on SeaWorld Orlando discount tickets.

“How awesome?” you might be wondering. Well, depending on which option you choose, you could save over $50 per ticket, or up to $150 per annual pass. That’s a whole lotta cash for Shamu Ice Cream Bars!

The tickets you buy with Undercover Tourist are the same ones you get when you buy from SeaWorld. And best of all, while SeaWorld dazzles you with reasonable rates only to surprise you at the end with taxes and fees, the price you see is the price you get, since all taxes and fees are included in Undercover Tourist’s straightforward pricing.

And for those who can only spend one day at SeaWorld, you’re definitely going to want to buy with our trusted ticket partner. Why? Because Undercover Tourist’s Single Day Tickets are actually Any Day Tickets without the ridiculously high convenience fee. We’re talking a savings of almost $39 per ticket!

SeaWorld Orlando Ticket Add-ons

Want to spend more time going on rides and seeing the animals and less time waiting in line? Have plans to stay in the park all day long or just an especially voracious appetite? You might be interested in these ticket add-ons.

SeaWorld Quick Queue & Reserved Seating

Quick Queue is SeaWorld’s answer to Disney Genie+ and the Lightning Lanes. Just like the name implies, Quick Queue fast-tracks you to the front of the line.

There are a few different tiers available when it comes to Quick Queue, including options with Reserved Seating at SeaWorld’s animal shows and even line-jumping access at the park’s new Ice Breaker coaster. Pricing starts at $14.99 each (plus tax) for either Quick Queue Unlimited or Reserved Seating, while access to both plus one priority ride on Ice Breaker will run you at least $29.99 per person (plus tax).

Quick Queue attractions include:

  • Ice Breaker – At least 48” (not available for all SeaWorld Orlando Quick Queue options)
  • Mako – At least 54”
  • Manta – At least 54”
  • Kraken – At least 54”
  • Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin – Exhibit only
  • Infinity Falls – At least 42”
  • Journey to Atlantis – At least 42” (must have supervising companion if between 42” and 48”)

Animal presentations with Reserved Seating include:

  • Orca Encounter
  • Dolphin Stadium
  • Sea Lion & Otter Stadium
  • Ignite Fireworks at Bayside Stadium

While all those add-ons can really add up, especially if you’re traveling as a family, Quick Queue and Reserved Seating can certainly be worth the splurge if you’re trying to get a ton done in not a lot of time.

SeaWorld All-Day Dining

I don’t know about you but waiting in line in the hot Florida sun and screaming my head off on rollercoasters all day really gets me hungry. If you think you and your crew will be eating quite a bit while you’re in the park, think about indulging in the SeaWorld’s All-Day Dining.

Walking around a theme park all day can really work up a hunger. If you think you’ll be eating often and a lot throughout the day, you may want to get the All-Day Dining Deal. For $47.92 for adults and $24.49 for kids ages three to nine (or $42.59 for adults and $21.29 for kids if you buy with Undercover Tourist ), guests can eat and drink as much as they want all day long – with a few restrictions.

Now, keep in mind that this is only going to be worthwhile if you’re planning on eating several times while you’re in the park or for those with big appetites. Consider checking out the menus and prices beforehand to get an estimate of how much you might spend to see if it’s worth it for you.

Discount Disney Gift Cards at Target

Seaworld rides, shows & animal experiences.

Similar to its sister park Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park , SeaWorld Orlando celebrates the beauty of our world’s creatures – with a watery twist – while still bringing the fun of a traditional theme park. There really is something here for everyone, from families with small children to thrill-seekers, and, of course, animal lovers.

If you’re visiting on a Friday or weekend from May 28 through September 6, be sure to end your day with a fireworks finale at the Bayside Stadium during Ignite, a dazzling display of pyrotechnics, lights and music.

SeaWorld Orlando Rides

Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie looking for a roller coaster fix or family in search of some kid-friendly rides, SeaWorld Orlando has it all. Get the lay of the land and plan your attack from the tippy top of the Sky Tower. Then, if you aren’t tired out yet from all that walking, get out on the water (and get in a calf workout) on the Flamingo Paddle Boats.

Attention, thrill-seekers! While this aquatic playground may be known for its menagerie of marine mammals, it’s also home to some incredible thrill rides, including the all-new Ice Breaker roller coaster:

  • Ice Breaker (NOW OPEN!) – Arctic-inspired coaster featuring four launches, forwards and backwards, and the steepest beyond-vertical drop (93 feet at 100 degrees) in the Sunshine State
  • Mako – The tallest (up to 200 feet) and fastest (up to 73 MPH) coaster in a city filled with roller coasters, crowned the best coaster in 2021 by the USA Today 10Best Reader’s Choice  awards
  • Manta – Swoop, soar and dive like a manta ray on this extreme coaster that even big kids will love
  • Kraken – An intense floorless coaster that’s the only one of its kind in Orlando, truly befitting of its monstrous inspiration
  • Journey to Atlantis – Voyage into the sunken city of Atlantis – and get drenched! – on this log flume coaster

Opened in 2021, Sesame Street Land is a dream for little ones (and adults). Now, you and your kiddos can stroll down that famous street for yourselves and meet all the furry friends you’ve come to know and love along the way. Hi, Elmo!

As you explore, be on the lookout for unique interactive elements that let you get hands-on with the world around you, like Bert & Ernie’s Doorbell and Elmo’s Window. And for even more fun, don’t miss the Sesame Street Party Parade for the chance to boogie to the beat alongside Big Bird and the gang.

And for all the parents of children with autism out there, Sesame Street Land is designed with you and your kiddo in mind, thanks to sensory guides that outline each attraction’s stimulation levels.

  • Abby’s Flower Tower – A pint-sized version of the Sky Tower overlooking Sesame Street Land
  • Big Bird’s Twirl ‘N’ Whirl – Mad Tea Party, Sesame Street-style
  • Cookie Drop! – Kid-friendly drop tower starring Cookie Monster

  • Rubber Duckie Water Works – Water play area inspired by Ernie’s bath time pal
  • Slimey’s Slider – Rock and spin around through Oscar the Grouch’s compost heap alongside his pet worm, Slimey
  • Sunny Day Carousel – Classic merry-go-round with cartoonish horses
  • Super Grover’s Box Car Derby – Kiddie coaster helmed by everyone’s favorite fuzzy blue monster

SeaWorld Animal Experiences

While people may be screaming about SeaWorld Orlando roller coasters like Mako and Ice Breaker, you’ll want to be sure to slow down and enjoy the many incredible creatures that call the park home.

Don’t let the extremely high speeds confuse you – SeaWorld is made for wandering. Take in the many wildlife habitats (either on your own or as part of a guided tour at an additional cost), toss fish to sea lions, high five stingrays, even eat alongside killer whales at Dine with Orcas.

  • Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin – Five species of penguins

Want to see the animals do what they do best (and rest your feet for a while)? See one of the fascinating animal presentations. Keep in mind that depending on where you sit, you may get wet. So, choose your seats wisely.

  • Dolphin Adventures – See the natural behaviors and charming playfulness of bottlenose dolphins
  • Orca Encounter – Watch the hunting techniques of the powerful killer whale
  • Sea Lion & Otter Spotlight – See the adorable and amusing California sea lions and Asian small-clawed otters in action

SeaWorld Orlando FAQs

Still more you want to know about SeaWorld Orlando? Check out these frequently asked questions.

Does SeaWorld Orlando require reservations?

No, as of July 2021, you no longer need a reservation to go to SeaWorld in Orlando.

How many days should you spend at SeaWorld Orlando?

Even if you don’t plan on visiting Big Bird in Sesame Street Land, there’s still a lot to experience at SeaWorld Orlando. Especially when you take into account that each of the shows last around 20 to 25 minutes and SeaWorld’s recommendation that you arrive 15 to 20 minutes early (or earlier if it’s especially busy) to make sure you get a seat.

If you plan you day out carefully, show up early and don’t mind doing some backtracking for the shows, you can get a lot done in one day. However, if you have kids and you’re planning on enjoying everything Sesame Street Land has to offer along with everything else, or it’s your first time visiting, you may want to plan for two days instead.

Is SeaWorld Orlando worth going to?

Yes! If you love roller coasters, marine mammals, Sesame Street or some combination of the three, then SeaWorld is definitely worth it. The roller coasters are some of the best Orlando has to offer, while Sesame Street Land is as family-friendly as it gets and award-winning to boot. Not to mention that it really is amazing to see these incredible creatures up close.

Does SeaWorld still do orca shows?

Yes, while the format isn’t the same as in past years, you can still watch killer whales show their stuff at the daily Orca Encounter presentation.

What animals can you touch at SeaWorld?

While you can touch a dolphin during the Dolphin Encounter, you would need to pay for the privilege. Instead, make your way over to Stingray Lagoon for a chance to stroke a velvety ray.

Is the Dolphin Encounter at SeaWorld worth it?

Although you can’t swim with dolphins at SeaWorld Orlando (you’ll need to go to Discovery Cove, SeaWorld’s sister park to do that), you can get up close and personal at the Dolphin Encounter. Starting at $25 per person for a 15-minute experience that includes both learning about the animals’ care and touching them, we think it’s well worth the price for all the dolphin lovers out there.

Have you been to SeaWorld Orlando? Which animals and rides are your favorites? Where should you go for All-Day Dining? Let us know in the comments! Then, learn how you can save on SeaWorld tickets and other family-friendly destinations.

Undercover Tourist also has discounted tickets to non-theme park attractions like Ripley’s Believe It or Not, ski resorts, zoos, movie theaters, and lots more! Plus, it acts as an online travel agency for hotels and car rentals.

While Undercover Tourist offers a ton of ticket, hotel, and car options, the site is limited in the number of destinations it covers. You’ll only find options in the following cities:

  • Breckenridge, CO
  • Chicago, IL
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • New York City, NY
  • Orlando, FL
  • Park City, Utah
  • San Antonio, Texas
  • San Diego, CA
  • San Francisco, CA
  • Washington, D.C.

Options in Seattle, London, and Paris are coming soon.

Bottom Line: Undercover Tourist is a resource for discounted tickets to theme parks and other attractions in select cities across the U.S. It’s best known for offering discounted tickets to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios theme parks.  The site also acts as an online travel agency for hotel reservations and car rentals in these select cities.

Discount Tickets

Let’s review the steps to using Undercover Tourist to purchase discounted tickets.

You can start your search for discounted tickets from many different places on the home page. Click on Discount Tickets in the top menu bar, click on a logo underneath the menu bar, or click on any of the featured tickets in the middle of your screen to start your search.

Finding discounted tickets on Undercover Tourist

After choosing your destination, you’ll be able to see lots of information about your chosen theme park, including maps, hotels, tips, and more. Scroll down a bit to find the availability calendar and ticket options.

Disney tickets through Undercover Tourist

The tickets you buy through Undercover Tourist are exactly the same as if you purchased them directly from the park, except you’ll probably save some money.

After choosing the type and number of tickets you need, you’ll be able to see your final price and choose your travel dates. The price you see is what you’ll pay — taxes are included and shipping is free!

Price of tickets on Undercover Tourist

Hot Tip: Are you on a tight budget? Check out our full guide to using visiting Disney World for cheap using points and miles.

You may be inclined to have your tickets emailed to you, but there are some risks. E-tickets are non-refundable, and you’ll need to stop at Will Call at the gate to pick up your physical tickets. For Disney tickets, if you have a MagicBand, you can add the e-tickets to your account and proceed directly to the gate, but they’ll still be non-refundable.

Instead, it may be a better idea to have the physical tickets mailed to you. This option is also free and the tickets will be eligible for a refund. Plus, you’ll be able to go straight to the gate at the park which can be a huge timesaver.

Paper vs emailed tickets from Undercover Tourist

Many tickets sold on Undercover Tourist are refundable within 90 days of purchase. To get a refundable ticket, you’ll need to have tickets mailed to you vs. opting for email delivery. Refundable tickets will be clearly marked. Be sure to confirm the return policy for your specific tickets before completing your purchase.

If you need to return tickets that you purchased, you’ll be charged a 5% fee to cover the return.

Hot Tip: E-tickets are non-refundable. To get a ticket that is eligible for a refund, you’ll need to select the Mailed To Your Door  option.

Before finalizing your purchase, you’ll be prompted to add travel insurance. Before choosing whether or not to add insurance to your purchase, you’ll want to learn about all of your options.

Undercover Tourist offers insurance through Allianz Global Assistance , a popular travel insurance company. However, the policy offered by Undercover Tourist covers lots of areas that may already be covered through your credit card including trip cancellation and interruption , lost or delayed baggage, and travel accident insurance, so it may not be needed.

If you purchase tickets that are eligible for a refund, insurance is probably not necessary. If you’re also booking a hotel or rental car, take a minute to determine if you have a credit card with rental car insurance  before purchasing a separate policy.

The Undercover Tourist Crowd Calendar is a popular feature on the site that helps you identify the least and most crowded times to visit a specific park.

To access the Crowd Calendar, just click on Crowd Calendar in the top menu bar of the website.

How to find the Crowd Calendar on Undercover Tourist

You’ll be able to look at specifics for a handful of the most popular destinations:

  • Discovery Cove
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Magic Kingdom Park
  • Universal’s Islands of Adventure
  • Universal Studios Florida
  • Universal’s Volcano Bay

Undercover Tourist Crowd Calendar

Hot Tip: The Undercover Tourist Crowd Calendar is a color-coded chart that helps you predict which parks will be more or less crowded on a specific day.

Undercover Tourist mobile app

If you’re headed to Orlando, be sure to download the Undercover Tourist Orlando Planning App, free for iOS . This handy app will take the stress out of trying to navigate the parks on your own with features like an interactive map, up-to-date park information, park plans, and estimated wait times.

The app covers Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld Orlando.

The Frog Guarantee and Frog Family Promise are not price guarantees, rather they’re guarantees of quality and customer service.

The Frog Guarantee

When purchasing amusement park tickets through Undercover Tourist you’ll always receive:

  • Authentic tickets from an authorized seller
  • Free standard shipping
  • No hidden fees
  • 90-day refund/return policy (not applicable to e-tickets)
  • RFID enabled and Genie+ eligible Disney tickets
  • Next-day pickup or delivery availability

So, let’s answer the question you really want to know, “Can Undercover Tourist save me money?”

To do this, we priced out some ticket options for 1 adult on Undercover Tourist and compared those to what we could get directly from the park’s website.

In every single example we priced out, Undercover Tourist was the cheapest option! If you’re looking for discounted tickets to Walt Disney World and other popular theme parks, you’ll probably save money by using Undercover Tourist.

Hot Tip: You can NOT use Disney gift cards to pay for tickets through Undercover Tourist. So, if you’ve been collecting gift cards from stores with high points bonuses (like grocery stores ), you’ll need to purchase your tickets directly through the park.

Purchasing tickets to an amusement park can be expensive. So, of course, you’ll want to make sure you’re earning as many points as possible on your purchase.

Amusement park tickets usually code as “entertainment,” so if you’re purchasing them directly, you’ll want to use a credit card that offers bonus categories on entertainment purchases . The Citi Premier ® Card earns 2 points per dollar spent on entertainment purchases, including tickets to amusement parks.

However, purchases from Undercover Tourist code as “travel” which opens up the door to earn points on a variety of different credit cards. These credit cards all earn bonus points on the travel category, which will include amusement park tickets purchased from Undercover Tourist.

Earn 3x points on travel purchases with these credit cards:

  • Ink Business Preferred ® Credit Card
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve ®
  • Citi Premier card

Earn 2x points on travel purchases with these credit cards:

  • Chase Sapphire Preferred ® card
  • Capital One ® Venture ® Rewards card

Hot Tip: If you have an American Express card, check to see if Amex Offers has any current money-back offers from Undercover Tourist.

While Undercover Tourist is known as the place to buy theme park tickets, the site also acts as an online travel agency for booking hotels.

To get started, click on Hotels in the top menu bar. Then select your destination from the drop-down box and enter the number of travelers and your travel dates.

Your search results will be displayed in a format similar to other hotel booking websites that you may be familiar with (like Expedia , Priceline , Hotels.com , etc). Filtering options will be available on the left side of your screen and sorting options are located on the upper right-hand side, above the results.

Undercover Tourist Hotels filtering and sorting

Unlike with tickets on Undercover Tourist, the prices you see initially don’t include tax. You’ll have to click through to the payment page to see the full price with taxes and fees included.

Cancellation policies will vary by the hotel but will be clearly displayed once you add an item to your cart.

Undercover Tourist Hotel cancellation policy

Hot Tip: If you’re traveling to Florida to enjoy the theme parks, check out these places to stay in Orlando for your Disney vacation!

Let’s take a look at a couple of examples to see if booking a hotel through Undercover Tourist can save you money. For both of these examples, we priced out a week-long stay for 2 adults and 1 child. Prices include taxes and fees and are for the hotel stay only (tickets are not included).

The results are typical of most price comparisons we do — they aren’t consistent! Undercover Tourist had the best price for the first option, but Trivago came out with the best price in the second example. The bottom line is that you can definitely save money by using Undercover Tourist for your hotel stay, but not always.

The car rental search functionality on the Undercover Tourist website is pretty limited. You’ll only be able to search for car rentals at Orlando International Airport (MCO) from only 5 car rental companies — Alamo, Avis , Budget , Enterprise , and National .

Undercover Tourist Car Rental

We did a couple of searches to find out if booking your Orlando car rental through Undercover Tourist could save you money. We searched for the cheapest price for a week-long rental on 2 different dates.

In both of these examples, Undercover Tourist came out as the second most expensive option. Interestingly, Momondo  had the lowest price and Priceline had the highest price in both examples.

Undercover Tourist may be a great place to purchase theme park tickets, but it’s not a great option when you’re searching for a rental car.

Undercover Tourist is a popular website for purchasing theme park tickets on the cheap. It also acts as an online travel agency for hotels and car rentals, but only in select cities.

It’s a great site to use to save some money on theme park tickets, but the savings on hotels and cars aren’t as consistent.

Before you head to Disney, check out some of our helpful guides including re-opening plans , packing lists , and even how to visit virtually .

The information regarding the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card was independently collected by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.

Why is Undercover Tourist cheaper?

Undercover Tourist buys tickets at a wholesale price from the theme parks so they’re able to re-sell them to you at a discounted price. Plus, they don’t charge any additional fees so the price you see is the price you’ll pay.

These tickets are available on the Discovery Cove website .

The cheapest way is to take the city bus to SeaWorld from Walt Disney World. The bus is #50 and the fare is $2.00 each way. Be sure to ask the driver to let you off at the front gate of SeaWorld , because the normal bus stop is a bit of a walk to the front gates, but the drivers will stop as close to SeaWorld as possible on request. Before you get off the bus, ask where to pick up the return bus (also #50). For schedules and further details, visit GoLynx.com .

There are two places where you can catch the city bus at Disney World:

  • Ticket and Transportation Center – The trip from here to SeaWorld takes about 37 minutes, stopping at Disney Springs along the way.
  • Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney) – The trip from here to SeaWorld takes about 20 minutes. There is a stop for the Lynx buses in the overflow parking lot on the far west side of Disney Springs, past the Cirque Du Soleil theater. Alternatively on the other end of Disney Springs there’s a stop on Buena Vista Drive, across the street near the intersection with Hotel Plaza Boulevard.

MouseSavers.com reader Lois B reports in February 2012, “We took the Disney bus from the All Star Music Resort to Disney Springs. Since Pleasure Island did not open until 11:00 that morning, the Disney bus dropped us at the only stop at 8:30 am at Disney Springs which was at the Marketplace. The Disney bus driver was very helpful and showed us where to walk down the street and cross the road to get to the city (Lynx) bus stop for Bus 50. It was about a city block’s worth of walking. The bus was $2.00 per person. The meter took bills and coins but would not give any change back. So, for instance, there were 3 of us and it cost $6.00 so we put in a $5 and $1 bill. If we had only had a $10 bill or two $5 bills, we could have used that, but we would not have received $4 back. This may be common knowledge to most people, but since we live out in the country, we never ride city buses and had no idea about any of this — just glad we had made a point of carrying a lot of small bills for tips, etc.”

Another option is to rent a car for one day. Use the link to learn more about how to do this. You can get a one-day rental for as little as $30 plus tax and this option gives you tons more flexibility. Driving to SeaWorld is very easy – take I-4 East and one or two exits away there will be signs telling you to exit for SeaWorld. Follow the signs and they will lead you directly to the parking entrance. Your hotel can give you specific instructions for how to get to I-4, or there are road signs on all the major Walt Disney World routes that will direct you.

The Mears shuttle offers scheduled, shared shuttle service between Disney World and SeaWorld that operates a few times each day for $20 per person (plus tip) round trip. Mears is a reliable company which runs the taxi services that service Walt Disney World. For 3 people or fewer this option is typically cheaper than a taxi or limo, but it can be inconvenient due to the time schedule, which is not flexible. The shuttle will make multiple stops around Walt Disney World before heading to SeaWorld. You cannot book the shuttle one-way and they will not carry any luggage larger than a daypack or purse. To book the Mears SeaWorld shuttle you must call Mears directly at (407) 423-5566 ; they do not offer any kind of online booking for this service.

Taxi or Car Service

You can take a taxi to SeaWorld from Disney World for about $20-$35 each way plus tip, depending on traffic and where you leave from. You can also book a  chartered limo, sedan, or van . Usually a chartered sedan will be fairly competitive in price with a taxi. With chartered cars you know the price up front, unlike a taxi where the price varies with traffic and depending on the specific route the driver chooses. On the other hand, there are always taxis available immediately at both parks, whereas with a chartered sedan you’ll need to schedule a time to be picked up. Most limo services will pick you up earlier or later if you find that you get tired or you need more time to see everything, but it depends on them having a car and driver available.

If you’d like to stay near SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Discovery Cove , there are several reasonably-priced hotel choices that offer terrific value, and MouseSavers has exclusive offers at two of them!

If you’re looking for a terrific deal , our top choice is Hilton Grand Vacations Suites at SeaWorld Orlando . This lovely landscaped condo-style resort is centrally located near multiple theme parks and attractions — and is walking distance from Discovery Cove , SeaWorld and Aquatica ! It’s an easy 10-15 minute drive to Universal and Walt Disney World, and features spacious 1, 2, and 3-bedroom suites with full kitchens, numerous amenities and more! MouseSavers readers get rate discounts and WAIVED resort fees!

HGV Suites at SeaWorld is an official SeaWorld Partner hotel, which means guests can get complimentary Quick Queue passes, which provide limited one-time front of the line access to each of these SeaWorld attractions: Manta, Kraken, Journey to Atlantis, Wild Arctic, Turtle Trek, Skytower and Anarctica – Empire of the Penguin. However, each partner hotel has only a limited supply of Quick Queue passes, so be sure to ask at Guest Services at check-in how you can arrange to receive some. In addition, partner hotels offer early entry to SeaWorld on select days in peak season.

You’ll also find a terrific deal at the Drury Inn & Suites Orlando located at the intersection of Sand Lake Road and Turkey Lake Road. It’s an easy 10-12 minute drive to SeaWorld  (as well as Discovery Cove and Aquatica ), and only a 5-10 minute drive to Universal Orlando. This well-managed and maintained 238 room property offers  exceptional value , particularly for the area near Universal Orlando. Your room rate includes  FREE hot and cold breakfast, FREE evening “Kickback” with assorted hot and cold foods and beverages including soft drinks and alcoholic beverages (beer, wine & mixed drinks) , FREE Wi-Fi, FREE parking, and FREE shuttles to Universal Orlando. Rates are low to moderate, and there is no added daily resort fee. MouseSavers readers get an extra 10% off best available nightly room rates!

If these hotels don’t meet your needs or are sold out, SpringHill Suites Orlando at Seaworld  and  Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at Seaworld are located next to each other and offer complimentary breakfast and high-speed internet , plus free transportation to SeaWorld,  Aquatica ,  Discovery Cove  and  Universal Orlando . SpringHill Suites offers oversized rooms called “studio suites,” with a living area separated from the bed(s) by a privacy wall. Fairfield Inn & Suites has standard rooms, studios and some 1-bedroom suites. These two hotels are also SeaWorld Orlando Official Hotel Partners.

Thanks for all reply - very very helpful

My Wife and I will be going with our adult daughter and 4yrs boy - which of the 2 do you u guys recommend?

Discovery Cove is another enjoyable option in the SeaWorld group close to Orlando

Just know with Busch gardens the child will be too short for many of the rides. It is much more adult geared.

She also enjoys Aquatica and they have very a large newish kiddy area. My biggest caveat would be to avoid Aquatica on a warm weekend day. It’s very popular with locals and doesn’t handle crowds well at all.

I’ve never been to BG but have always been under the impression that it’s pretty thrill ride heavy.

I used the Undercover Tourist service to purchase a ticket to Disney World (I got the other ones with AIR MILES).

To make the purchase (and also all our on-site purchases), I used my HSBC World Elite ® Mastercard ® : this Card classifies Undercover Tourist as a travel agency.

You get 6 points per dollar on the purchase without paying any foreign currency conversion fees.

For this purchase of $725.75 CAD, I collected 4,354 points:

  • 2,177 base points
  • 2,177 bonus points (travel category)

Then you can apply your points to the purchase of the tickets on the card!

Here is the current welcome offer for this card :

Bottom Line

Undercover Tourist is the best platform to buy your theme park tickets at discounted prices! Remember to use the right credit card to pay!

I’ve booked my Disney accommodation in a package with a 10-day park hopper via disney.com

I’ve since seen a lot about undercover tourist, and it appears a lot of people purchase from there to save money.

I was going to cancel my package and switch to room-rate only until I saw several negative reviews from people receiving expired tickets etc which has me second-guessing them.

Can anyone give me insight if its actually reliable and legit to be buying tickets off this site?

Do you buy your tickets via Disney direct or through Undercover Tourist?

' class=

Used them many times myself, and NEVER had any problem with tickets from them.

I would only buy from Disney directly if tickets I needed were for 3 days or less as sometimes U.T. is more expensive on those short duration ones, but for long-stay tickets, U. T. usually has better prices.

Thanks Kat,

I've just found an older thread on here and everyone who answered said it was safe, so I'm feeling more confident to go ahead with it now.

I think the expired ticket complaints were for universal tickets, which we will be going for a day - might just buy those directly as we likely won't save much for a one day ticket.

We always use Undercover Tourist, the most recent time was May this year.

They are very good and the tickets always arrive within a few days. You can sometimes get good deals such as a 2 day Park to Park ticket for Universal and IOA with a free third day.

I only use Undercover Tourist or the Disney websites to purchase my tickets and yes UT is very reliable.

undercover tourist seaworld orlando tickets

I just don't believe that Undercover Tourist supplied expired tickets, they are reputable.

As the others have said they are reliable. We've used them a few times and never had any problems.

"I saw several negative reviews from people receiving expired tickets etc "

These reviews can be (and are very likely IMO) fake.

UCT has an exemplary record - to be fair so do a few other 3rd party resellers. In all the years I've used this forum, that handful of decent resellers have rarely, if ever, had negative stories posted.

Thanks everyone, I agree Mchaggis, it sounds like they are most probably fake reviews. Which is unfortunate for UT. If I hadn't asked on here, I would have just stayed with my original tickets and paid the higher price.

I'll go ahead and buy all my tickets through UT from now on :)

' class=

Undercover Tourist is very safe and reliable. I don't believe they sold expired tickets. There is one reason to buy direct from Disney though. We bought tix through Disney for my parents who were visiting and lost them before we used them. I was able to go to the guest services booth outside the park, and they were reissued in a second. They said if we'd bought the tix through a 3rd party they wouldn't be able to reissue them.So you should probably save the money and buy from UT and just not lose them.

Just super nervous to buy...sounds too good to be true.

ordered 4 tickets to discovery cove…

ordered 4 tickets to discovery cove via undercover tourist totaling 1071.00 dollars. the plans changed and one person couldn't make it. i called to cancel just one ticket and they said id have to reorder the 3 tickets and prove to them before they'd cancel these tickets. i asked where this policy was displayed on their website and they said "its not, its just our policy" that's illegal. i told them ill pay the 5% and just cancel the whole order and order direct from discovery cove. they said ok, two weeks later still waiting for my money, 2 more days until Ill be disputing the charges and getting my whole return back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deal with this lot at your peril!

Wish I hadn’t used these rip off thieving clowns! Ordered tickets which were promptly sent and then so promptly cancelled while they held on to my money! Id give them minus stars but best i can do is just the one and thats one star too many! Save yourself the aggro and hassle of dealing with second rate thieves like i have. Like many others, wish id read their reviews first, in essence, its a lesson learnt! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS at your peril, id rather have paid more for my tickets than dealing with this total shower of poo! These see you next Tuesdays have effing ruined a trip I have been planning for 2 years!

Update… I actually got the ticket the day before the show so not 48 hrs it was less than 24 hrs..Ugghhh I wish I had read these reviews first!! I am so BS right now Honestly, I wouldn’t even put a star there but you have to put a star there. I am so upset with this company I can’t even begin to explain. I wish I had done some serious research before purchasing tickets. I spent $300 for tickets in December for a comedy show in April I have a wedding coming up that I wasn’t aware about so I tried to call to get a refund which I could not do through them so therefore I tried to see if I could get my tickets so I could sell them through an online website, but apparently you don’t get your tickets up until possibly two days before the day of the show so you expect me to get my tickets two days before the show and then someone to buy tickets within two days so I’m pretty much gonna be out $300 and they were not helpful at all. They just said keep checking your email. It could be two days before I am so upset. I am pretty much out $300. I will never ever use them again .

Don’t buy concert tickets from them…

Don’t buy concert tickets from them unless you want to wait nearly two months to receive them !! They take your money fast enough but unless you call them you aren’t aware you have to wait until the ACTUAL TICKET SELLER makes contact with you . And you can’t have your money back either . Will NOT be buying anything else from them and will recommend my friends to do the same . The first guy I spoke to there was offhand with me and was very quick to tell me these tickets aren’t refundable. Plus they had a discount voucher that was on the checkout total but amazingly disappeared when I pressed pay !! As far as I’m concerned they are a rip off site . I payed with PayPal so I’m poised to open a dispute if I don’t see my tickets as I’ve been told . DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE BE WARNED

Should have read the reviews here…

Should have read the reviews here first. Not happy with this company. Bought 4 day tickets plus options to WDW for 4 adults cost $2,635.80 (US). Thought I was getting a good deal. Now find advised on the WDW official website for the same days as $2,198.16 (US). Undercover Tourist have advised bad luck and no difference refund. Cannot recommend them.

I would give negative stars if I could

I would give negative stars if I could. I purchased Universal Studios VIP tour tickets from them and then wanted to change the time of the tour. They told me they couldn't do it and to call Universal. I called Universal and they told me that only Undercover Tourist could do it. I called UT again and they had me pay for new tickets for the time I wanted and then refunded me for the original purchase... It's now 2 days before my trip and the new tickets won't scan with the Universal app but the old ones will. Zero. Effs. Given. by UT support. They are insisting that the new tickets are valid - went through the same back-and-forth between them and Universal - and they won't do anything about it. I asked what to do if I get to Universal and my tickets don't work... they said to call them. Fingers crossed that I actually get into the park/onto my tour! I will NEVER use Undercover Tourist again.

Recently bought a Black Friday deal for sea world San Diego. Called customer service a few times on the buy one get one free ticket and was duped into buying several sets to get free tickets. Turns out their deal was no better than one provided directly on Sea World website. With my dollars, hours of call time with three different representatives I will not use their site again.

Intentionally Obtuse Customer Service

Scam company with nonexistent customer service. If you get any response from them regarding an issue, it will be something like, “I’m sorry. We don’t understand your concern. Can you please explain it to us again for the 3rd time?” Screenshots, detailed step-by-step explanations, phone conversations… Nothing works. They basically will try to wear you down until you determine that it’s no longer worth your time. Avoid this company at all costs.

We had to wait for an hour at Busch…

We had to wait for an hour at Busch Gardens for someone to know what to do with our voucher. I gave them 3 stars since this may not be their fault but these vouchers aren’t universally recognized. We also had to wait in a line at Aquatica to get a manager to print real tickets. I would say not really worth the lower price for the worry and stress that it won’t be accepted or recognized.

Smooth experience

Bought three Disneyland tickets and it was very smooth. At first I was skeptical after reading all the bad reviews, but decided to test my luck since they offer a few bucks off. I did encounter their "validation" progress, but it was super simple - just enter the pending amount they hold on your credit card. After this was complete, I received tickets within one minutes. The tickets were valid on Disney website.

Thanks for all your help

Thanks for all your help. My money has been refunded and back in my account today after we had to get a refund on our Universal Studios tickets. Fantastic communication and reassurance during a very tricky time. We are hoping to come back to Orlando next year🤞and won't hesitate to recommend and use Undercover Tourist for our park tickets. It's not how people treat you when things are good but how they treat you when things are bad that shows their true colours. You've all been wonderful at helping us on this difficult time. Thank you once again and stay safe 💜 🐸

Horrible. Processed my transaction without security clearance. I had decided to purchase elsewhere and never completed the purchase but an hour later I got an email confirming the purchase that I never completed. I called immediately and was told after some argument and them talking to their supervisor that the refund was approved. Then a week went by with no refund so I contacted them again. They said they had to put in the request again and this time it was denied. I told them it had already been approved and to go back and listen to the first call. They said they did and it was never approved (I 100% know it was) so I asked forna copy of the recording but of course they said they can't give that to me. Because they lied and it was approved. Regardless, allowing the charge to go through in the first place without security clearance is fraud!

Very Misleading, Won’t Change Dates

Tickets are cheaper, and they advertise “90 day ticket return” and that you can use them for 365 days. BUT if you don’t read the fine print, that’s only some tickets. I tried to change our Universal Hollywood tickets to one day earlier and they absolutely refused. Very misleading (even my email at the top says 90 day return)! Never will I use them again or recommend them again!

Simple, genuine and 1-day Disney Tix!

It's midnight in the UK 8th October 2022. I've just booked two 1-day tickets for my kids for the 18th Oct. I couldn't find 1-day tickets anywhere else (the missus and I already have long-term tickets). Wanted to book in advance because reservations were only available for the 18th and 20th for the Park we wanted and we were concerned it would become unavailable like the other dates we are in the US. UT was an Absolute doddle. Booked the tickets - paid via PayPal - got the tickets emailed to me immediately. Spoke on Chat to Louise beforehand, who allayed any fears I had before booking and was swift in her replies and helpful. I used the 12 character reference on my e-tickets to immediately make the Park reservation on the Disney site and it all went through fine. Very happy and recommend.

Disneyland ok, last minute hotel drop cost us.

The Disneyland tickets were a good deal. But the hotel never reserved properly, leaving us scrambling for a hotel and paying almost $300 more because of their system. Instead of trying to fix the issue, they kept giving a run around of "that can happen, sorry to hear, sucks to be you" replies. I found another app (Klook) that I am trying next.

Date of experience : November 19, 2022

Do not recommend

Horrible checkout experience with the payment verification. Finally was able to book, but when we went to check in to our hotel we learned they had cancelled our reservation despite already charging us in full for it. Had to book the hotel out of pocket at less than ideal rates. Have not received any response back from them nor a refund. Do not recommend.

Fine until you need help

The problem with undercovertourist is their inability to help when there's a problem. I wanted to change the date of a Universal ticket. Universal customer service was like, "sure, no problem, we do that all the time" until they found out that we had purchased through a travel agent (Undercover Tourist), and then they said we needed to talk to the travel agent. So I called Undercover Tourist. That person was no help: He said he could issue us new tickets for the date we wanted, and then try to cancel the existing ones, but he wasn't sure if the cancellation would succeed. I'm like I need to know that before we buy the new tickets, and he was like, no, you need to buy first and find out in about 24 hours if you paid double. I asked to talk to a supervisor. He said someone would call me in a couple hours. Nobody did. If I had bought direct through Universal, they could have helped no problem.

SCAM AND NO REFUND

I PURCHASED SOME TICKETS AND THEN GOT A BETTER DEAL IN ANOTHER PAGE, HOWEVER I'M STUCK BECAUSE I CANNOT GET A FULL REFUND, AS PROMISED, ONLY 95%.... THAT IS A TOTAL SCAM! LOL THEY COULD GIVE ME 100% IF I PURCHASED ANOTHER THING FROM THEIR SITE.
