Le Château de la Tour est depuis longtemps la propriété d’une seule et même famille. Cette dernière à été transmise de père en fils/fille à de nombreuses reprises. Aujourd’hui, ce sont Francois et Edouard Labet qui en assurent la direction. Plus gros propriétaire dans le Clos de Vougeot avec 5.5 hectares, les vins du Château de la Tour sont les seuls à être récoltés, vinifiés, élevés et mis en bouteille à l’intérieur des murs du Clos, comme par le passé à l’époque des moines. Une situation unique en Bourgogne.
NOTRE PHILOSOPHIE
Certification biologique obtenue en 2021 mais travaillant depuis 1992 dans cet esprit du respect de ce grand terroir bourguignon.
Notre priorité est aujourd’hui de continuer dans cette démarche afin de préserver et valoriser ce patrimoine qui nous a été transmis.
A la vigne, nous apportons nos propres tisanes produites au domaine et calquons nos travaux sur les cycles lunaires.
Un tri sérieux à la table vibrante. Pigeage aux pieds, un pourcentage de fûts neufs qui évolue à chaque millésime afin de laisser s’exprimer notre terroir.
Pas d’ajout de soufre sur l’ensemble de nos cuvées, jusqu’à la mise en bouteille, travail en levures indigènes, faibles pressurages, élevage long, pas de filtration. Notre approche se veut très peu interventionniste, afin d’exprimer au mieux la quintessence du fruit.

Fort de notre patrimoine unique, la cuvée Classique est l'expression la plus fidèle du Clos de Vougeot. Nos différentes parcelles, vinifiées et élevées séparément, sont alors assemblées juste avant la mise en bouteille. Notre cuvée Classique, permet à chaque terroirs de s'exprimer donnant ainsi naissance à un Clos Vougeot s'appréciera dès sa jeunesse.
Château de la Tour Cuvée Vieilles Vignes
Cuvée produite uniquement à partir de raisins issus de notre parcelle de Vieilles Vignes plantée en 1910. Située au cœur du Clos de Vougeot, elle représente toute la complexité et diversité de ce terroir aux multiples facettes. Puissance et concentration de ce Climat se marieront à la finesse et l'élégance du Pinot Noir. "L'ouvrir pour se faire plaisir, l'oublier pour ne pas regretter...."
Château de la Tour Clos Vougeot Cuvée Hommage à Jean Morin
Produite pour la première fois en 2010 afin de célébrer le centenaire de la Vieille Vigne, la cuvée Hommage à Jean Morin est vinifiée lors de millésimes exceptionnels. Elle est le fruit d'une sélection minutieuse et rigoureuse des premiers raisins de chaque pieds de notre très Vieille Vigne.

The Château du Clos de Vougeot Headquarters of the Climats de Bourgogne
Standing in the very heart of Burgundy's vineyards, it was originally a wine farm, built in the 12th century by monks from the nearby Abbey of Cîteaux. In the 16th century, a Renaissance style château was added to the existing buildings.
With its medieval vat-house and presses, Cistercian cellar and original kitchens, it forms a unique architectural whole, attracting history lovers, architecture lovers or wine lovers. The Chateau du Clos de Vougeot also hosts famous receptions. It is renowned as one of the very best "table d'hôte" of France.
Even though the Chateau du Clos de Vougeot does not produce wine anymore, it stays the symbol of a millenary of Burgundy's History.
The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin acquired the Château in 1945, and started to restore it, turning it into the seat of the Order.

Léonce Bocquet was the man who saved the Château du Clos de Vougeot from almost certain destruction. Wine-merchant by profession, the extravagant M.Bocquet acquired the buildings in 1889. He combined a remarkable flair for publicity with a pronounced taste for ostentation; but his commitment to restoring the Château brought him to the brink of bankruptcy. It seems fitting then that the impressive drive leading to the château, flanked to right and left by famous vines, should today bear his name, and that he should have chosen the Clos as his final resting place, thus becoming its eternal guardian.
