It works with both the Keyfit and Fit2 line of infant car seats and offers everything you need without the bells or whistles some people don’t need. It can save you some money as the base model set. 

Let’s look at the stroller first.

The stroller folds down with a quick-fold function only found on Chicco strollers. Under the seat, pull the handle up with a single hand, and boom, the stroller is in a standing folded position. It also comes with a handle when in the folded position to make it easy to travel with too!

Storage 

Store your drinks, phone, and keys on the parent tray. Do notice, this stroller does not come with a toddler tray, but that makes this a lightweight stroller and reduces the folding size, too. Otherwise, you get a large storage basket that doesn’t drag on the ground. 

Front Swivel

The stroller comes with front swivel wheels for easier and smoother turns. Maneuverability is a necessity with a stroller loaded down with baby and bags. While the stroller doesn’t come with suspension, at least it’s designed for easy movement and a price ready to fit in most budgets.

Definitely keep this travel system on your list of possibilities. However, if you want a stroller with suspension, this isn’t the choice for you. Choose this if lightweight and travel are your top priority. 

Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System

The next Bravo is the Bravo Trio Travel System . Get a mid-range price with tons of neutral color options. However, it still doesn’t come with a ton of features and the added price doesn’t make sense as this is still basically a base model set. 

One-Hand Fold

Get the coveted one-hand fold with this stroller. You also get a smart fold where the wheels roll inward for the standing fold. Add in a handle for the fold position, and you have the easiest layout possible. 

Convertibility

Next, the stroller converts to a frame stroller to use with the infant car seat. Simply remove the stroller seat to turn it into a frame for the car seat. 

Get both a parent and a child tray to keep you organized on the go. The stroller also comes with an undercarriage basket too. 

Use the rear parking brakes with a single foot touch to keep the stroller where you need it. 

Chicco KeyFit 30 Car Seat

The Bravo LE Trio Travel System is just like the Bravo Trio but with two special additions you will like. Although, the price difference is a little higher than you would like, it’s because you get an upgraded stroller and infant car seat too. 

Cushion 

The first addition is a reversible cushion made of knit/mesh fabric. It offers all-season comfort. However, this is not an infant positioner, just extra padding for any child in the stroller. 

Parent Tray

Also, the stroller includes an improved parent tray. Instead of an open design, this one includes a zippered storage pocket for your keys and cellphone. 

KeyFit 30 Zip Car Seat 

The Bravo LE includes the KeyFit 30 Zip infant car seat. It comes with helpful options and a decent weight limit although it’s not our favorite option. Look below for all of the info. 

While the Bravo LE Travel System is an update from the other options, it’s not enough of an upgrade to warrant the price increase. Once again, this system just isn’t up to the task of impressing parents. However, you do save a little money, but honestly, you can put a better set together, and it would be worth the cost. 

Chicco Bravo Primo Trio Travel System

The Bravo Primo Trio Travel System offers a fantastic value, although the price is higher. Not only does it come with a fabulous stroller but also an incredible infant car seat. Together this dynamic duo is ready to improve infant travel. 

You get Chicco’s signature one-hand fold with the handle for super easy folding. Also, the tires swivel in and stand when folds. Add in the compact size, and you have a super easy stroller to use. 

The tires on this stroller include top-of-the-line treaded tires with foam core. Your baby can sleep and not feel every bump in the road!

Car Seat 

The Bravo Primo Trio comes with the exceptional Fit2 infant car seat. It’s the nicest car seat for infants in the Chicco line and comes with tons of features and advantages you will fall in love with. Look below for all of the information about the car seats available in the travel systems. 

The tires make the Bravo Primo Trio Travel System a great option, but honestly, the best part is the Fit2 infant car seat. With this set, your strolling and car seat needs are taken care of for at least the first two years of your baby’s life! Although, it is one of the more expensive options, that’s because of the car seat, not the stroller. 

Chicco Viaro Travel System  

With the Viaro Quick-Fold Travel System , get all the benefits of both a full-size and jogging stroller without choosing just one. The KeyFit 30 includes all basic features and supports up to 30 pounds.

With the Viaro Quick-Fold Travel System , you can save a little money. Moreover, you get an awesome stroller and a high-quality infant car seat. With so much attention to detail, you may not want to look farther down this list because this stroller is amazing. 

Take a look at all of the features starting with the not-quite jogging stroller design. It’s technically a full-size stroller but looks like a jogging stroller with two wheels close together in the tapered front. Get all the benefits of both full-size and jogging without converting to three wheels. 

Travel Friendly

The frame is both lightweight at 18 pounds and ready to save you space with a compact fold. It can support a child up to 50 pounds even though it’s so light, making this a great option until your child is ready to stop using a stroller. 

Fold the stroller down with a single hand. Now the stroller can stand on its own and take up very little space. No other stroller brand folds down as quickly. 

Next, the stroller provides plenty of storage. Get a parent tray ready to hold two drinks and your other necessities. Also, you get a child tray ready to hold two drinks and snacks or tiny toys too. 

Adjustability 

While the stroller is amazing, it does not come with many adjustable options. For example, the handlebars stay in one spot and don’t move. However, the back reclines with a cord allowing for a multitude of positions for your baby. 

The canopy only has two positions as it only has two panels. Also, the leg rest doesn’t move as well and only allows for one position. 

KeyFit 30 Car Seat 

With this travel set, you also get the KeyFit 30 . It’s a nice car seat for sure, but maybe not the best option available by Chicco. It will however support babies up to 30 pounds and it has everything you need. More about the car seats below. 

Get everything you need from the affordable Viaro Quick-Fold Travel System . It’s a step up from the base options but only just barely as it doesn’t come with any fancy features some parents crave. It will definitely do the job and maneuver easily thanks to the unique design, though. 

Chicco Activ3 Travel System

The Activ3 Travel System is equipped with an adjustable handle, large canopy, and control panel for easier access to safety features. 

Chicco only made one jogging stroller travel system but is a great choice. However, the stroller included in this travel system is slightly different and doesn’t come with the 3D Air Mesh fabric ready to keep kids cool. Otherwise, it’s a fabulous stroller ready to impress. 

Parents with active lifestyles need the Activ3 Travel System . It comes with both a stroller and a car seat to save you money and time searching. Also, it’s the closest to an all-terrain stroller with a built-in suspension system. 

Control Panel

Most Chicco strollers come with foot brakes but the Activ3 comes with a control panel on the front to operate the different features. The control panel keeps everything you need easy access while running with the three-wheeled stroller. 

First, it comes with a swivel lock operation. Second, it comes with a parking brake. Third, the parking brake is also adjustable from the control panel. 

The only thing you operate with your foot is the adjustable suspension with FlexCore. Change this setting if you are switching from rugged to smooth terrain or vice versa.

Both the Corso Travel System and Corso LE Travel System allow you to change the direction of your child’s seat, either facing out or toward you. The Corso LE Travel System also comes with leather handles for a elegant look.

The Corso Travel System is a modular stroller, which means you can change the direction of the seat. It also supports an infant car seat too. It’s lightweight too compared to the other full-size strollers too at only 23.4 pounds.

With the Corso stroller, you can change the layout of the seat. Choose between the seat facing you or facing out to the world. It’s the perfect option for both infants and toddlers and allows you to keep a closer eye on your infant without using the infant car seat. However, you can use the infant car seat too!

The Corso Modular Travel System is by far the best and most modern stroller in the Chicco lineup. It’s the one stroller we would pick if we had to choose. Between the low weight, easy fold, and all of the other benefits, it’s the right choice for most families. 

Corso LE Travel System

The Corso LE Travel System stroller only comes with two differences from the Corso. While the two additions are definitely nice, they are by no means necessities. Choose this set if you want luxury. 

The Corso LE weighs a little over a pound more than the Corso. At 24.8 pounds, it’s still lighter than most full-size strollers but weighs more than the Corso. 

Both the parent handles and the toddler bar offer premium leatherette for a rich appearance and a sleek stroller. 

The other advantage is the treaded rubber tires with foam core. It makes for a smooth drive and less bumps for babies to try to sleep through. 

The Corso LE travel system comes with the KeyFit 35 infant car seat. It’s a fabulous option ready to hold more weight and last longer with extra legroom. Get all the facts below. 

Although the Corso LE Travel System looks prettier, it just doesn’t offer enough advantage for the price. Unless you love the leather, it’s really not worth your time. However, it’s definitely a good option, but an LE model should at least come with a parent tray or newborn positioner.

When your baby first leaves the hospital, they are so tiny that they need a little extra support. With a high-quality newborn positioner, you can accommodate tiny babies for more comfort and a correct position for safety.

Tightening the 5-point harness doesn’t have to be difficult. Chicco car seats come with a one-hand pull for a snug fit. This means you get more safety with less effort. 

Weight

The KeyFit 30 is the first option up from the KeyFit. It’s not a major upgrade but there are a few noticeable differences. Two upgrades with this option actually. 

First, you get more weight limit with this upgrade. Of course, the price goes up with an increase to 30-pound weight limit from 22 pounds. However, this does come with a slightly higher weight for the car seat itself that weighs 9.5 pounds. 

Color Options

Second, the only other difference is you get more color options with the KeyFit 30. While the KeyFit only has one black option, the next tier up comes with seven options. Most of the options are neutral to blend into your surroundings. 

The last difference is the price, and it’s significant for the minor change of weight and color options. It’s worth the cost, though, but not as worth the upgrade to the next option up. Let’s take a look. 

Chicco KeyFit 30 Zip

Moving up the tier, the KeyFit 30 Zip offers even more options than the previous lower-tier options. The KeyFit 30 Zip offers everything you get with the previous options but with so much more making it absolutely worth the price jump. 

Chicco offers a ventilated canopy with the KeyFit 30 Zip. Not only does the car seat offer ventilated mesh, but you can zip it open or shut hence the name Zip. Babies need ventilation, and moms need a peek-a-boo window to see if their baby is okay, and this offers both. 

No, we aren’t talking about something babies wear on their feet, but a built-in foot and body cover attached to the car seat. The boot creates warmth and comfort without over covering your baby with loose blankets. It’s a much safer option to combatting the cold and the elements. 

Chicco KeyFit 35

With the KeyFit 35 , you get an incredible car seat with massive advantages over the other options in the KeyFit line. It’s price definitely goes up, but stays in the realm of possibilities. What you get for the cost is well worth the bump in dollar signs too as this car seat lasts longer and goes farther.

The absolute best feature of this infant car set is it comes with two stages: infant position and toddler position. With the higher weight and height, you can use this car seat longer in the rear-facing direction than any other infant car seat. From there, you can switch to a convertible car seat . 

Smaller babies can use the infant position with the base first. From birth to 12 months, this is the right position. It’s easy to set up with a base designed to make changing the position a breeze. Once your baby teachings 15 pounds, you can switch to the toddler position if your child needs more legroom. 

Converting between the different stages is as easy as lifting a lever. Chicco even clearly marks the different stages right on the base with directions making the change easier. The weight capacity of the seat is 50 pounds, so you can use this jogging stroller system well into toddlerhood. The seat is 25 inches tall from the bottom of the seat to the top of the canopy.

You can adjust the backrest into three different positions, and while the lowest position isn’t completely flat, it’s about 30 degrees from horizontal, so it’s likely that your child will be able to nap.

It won’t be newborn ready, but remember, you can put an infant car seat in the stroller, so you don’t need the seat until your child is ready to sit up on their own.

To recline the seat, all you need is one hand. If you’re on a stroll and your little one falls asleep, just gently recline the seat with one hand while you continue on your way down the street. You won’t have to struggle with any straps.

You can raise and lower the backrest just by squeezing a lever rather than messing with any straps or levers that require two hands.

The most upright position is really straight, which is rare among most strollers . It allows your child to remain upright and alert. Your curious toddler can observe everything around them rather than the sides of the stroller blocking their view.

The 5-point harness is adjustable with padded straps, so you don’t have to worry about fit or comfort. Your child won’t get scratched or rubbed by anything that’s too tight. The padding is rich and plush, but there’s no mesh for breathability. However, it’s very nice to the touch.

It has a padded calf rest and a separate footrest for older children, but they’re not adjustable, so they either fit or they don’t. There’s nothing you can do to fix them if they’re in the way.

Car Seat Compatibility

The Chicco Mini Bravo Plus accepts the KeyFit30 infant car seat and can be bought as a travel system set. While this is the only car seat it accepts, if this is the infant car seat you’ve chosen to use and you like the stroller, it’s a nice set.

The child tray allows you to attach the infant seat to the stroller without the need for any extra attachments or accessories. Set the car seat on top of the child tray, click it into place, and you’re ready to go.

This travel system is acceptable for newborns all the way up to 50 pounds.

The canopy has 2 panels to provide plenty of shade for your child, but it also has a zip-open third panel made of mesh to offer even more shade and airflow. The third panel opens at the top to offer you a window so you can see your child through it.

The unfortunate thing about this canopy is that there is no peek-a-boo window other than the mesh zip-open panel, so if you’d like to see your child without covering them all the way up, you have to collapse the first to panels while opening the third mesh one.

There isn’t a sun visor on the canopy either, but if it’s fully extended, it’s plenty long enough to offer enough shade for a child. It almost touches the child tray and will completely cover your child. It won’t just block the sun, but it will cover your child’s torso, too.

This is a very generous canopy that not very many lightweight strollers offer.

This particular stroller has a non-adjustable handlebar, which is a slight downfall. It’s 41.5 inches from the ground, which is a good height for most parents who are 5-feet 5-inches or taller, but adjustable handlebars are just way better.

While it may be too high for short people and cause wrist pain, it can be too low for tall people. However, the handlebar is made of a texturized rubber grip and feels very luxurious. It won’t rip like a lot of the foam handlebars that other strollers have.

The back wheels are 8 inches and the front wheels are 6.25 inches. All four are made of EVA foam. The front wheels swivel a full 360 degrees, meaning the stroller is much more maneuverable and easier to steer in small places.

Even though it’s more maneuverable, it’s still only meant for flat terrain and works best on sidewalks, bricks, pavement, and packed dirt. It’s not meant for gravel or grass and won’t give your child a very comfortable ride. It also won’t be very easy to push.

It’s designed for city use and shouldn’t be used for off-road trails.

The Chicco Mini Bravo Plus has two brakes. There’s one brake for each rear wheel. When you stop and need to lock the stroller in place, you have to engage each brake separately by pressing down on the lever next to the wheel.

While pushing and lifting the levers is easy, it can be less so in sandals or flip flops.

Storage Basket

What’s great about the Chicco Mini Bravo Plus is the oversized storage basket under the seat. It’s much larger and easier to access than many other stroller models. It can accommodate a large diaper bag and still have room for a purse, jacket, or blanket.

Not every stroller is so spacious, so this is a huge advantage to those who like to picnic or take their stroller to the grocery store, park, or pool.

It’s also very easy to access, even when the seat is reclined. However, it’s not accessible from the front at all. Some strollers allow access to the storage basket from the front and the back. This one does not.

Size and Weight

The stroller only weighs 19.6 pounds, which isn’t too heavy, making it very portable. It’s easy to lift, putting it in your trunk or carrying it up and down the stairs. There’s even a convenient carry handle that you can use for folding as well.

The dimensions are very small, making it the perfect shopping or walking companion at a crowded mall or on the narrow sidewalk. It’s only 20.8 inches wide, so it’ll fit through most doorways, in elevators, and in narrow grocery store aisles.

This stroller is quick and easy to fold up. Pull the handle hidden in the seat and the stroller practically collapses itself. Then use the same handle to carry it around. When you’re not carrying it around, it will stand on its own when it’s folded.

It folds down pretty small, especially if you take the child tray off the front. The dimensions of the folded unit are 28.3 inches x 20.8 inches x 14 inches. It will store nicely in your trunk or the closet at home.

The only thing that would be nicer is if the stroller folded inward, so the fabric wasn’t facing out, being exposed to dirt while it was in storage. Especially when carrying it around or packing it into a trunk, it would be nice if the fabric weren’t susceptible to rips.

Accessories

The parent tray offers two cup holders for you and your spouse or an extra sippy cup for a second child if needed. It can also hold keys, phones, snacks, and other extras. The pouch zips closed, so you don’t have to worry about your things falling out or being in plain sight.

The child tray has a cup holder and a snack holder that allows for an infant car seat to click in, and you don’t have to remove it to fold the stroller away. It folds up against the stroller.

Chicco Mini Bravo Sport

The Chicco Mini Bravo Sport is a variation of the Mini Bravo Plus - and a higher version of the conventional and affordable Chicco Mini Bravo stroller. Compared to the Mini Bravo Plus, the Sport version is more lightweight, features a handlebar covered in foam, a parent tray without a zip-close pocket, and looks more dynamic. A third, zip-open mesh panel can be used if you need to extend the hood. The Chicco KeyFit and the Fit2 car seat can be clicked onto the bumper bar, enabling you to use the stroller as a travel system from birth.

The convincing advantages also include its low weight, the massive shopping basket, and the compact, one-hand fold. Once folded, the stroller can stand by itself. Using a lever system at the back, the seat can be reclined into three positions, including a quite deep recline (even though not a complete lie-flat) - therefore, unless paired with a car seat, the Mini Bravo Sport is more suitable for an older child.

I am preparing to fly with my 21 month old and want to know if this stroller will work for gate checking? Any experience using this stroller for air travel?

With the folded dimensions of 72 cm x 53 cm x 35.5 cm, the Mini Bravo won't meet the cabin luggage requirements, no matter the airline. You should ALWAYS check your airline's policies, but usually, you can take your larger-than-carry-on stroller with you as the free baby luggage up till you are boarding the plane. At that moment, your stroller will be taken from you by the stewards to be stored in the back and returned to you when getting off, so that would be the gate checking.

There isn't just one way and one system for all airlines and flights, so I really recommend checking beforehand.

How can you lay the stroller back of missing a back piece?? Miss part of the black piece to fold down..

If you are missing a piece, you probably can't use that feature of the stroller. I definitely recommend reading this guide about replacement parts and how to get them , and, of course, contacting Chicco's local customer service.

Any chance you know how to get a replacement bumper bar so I can put my infant seat on the Chicco Mini Bravo Sport? I can't seem to find the right one on Chicco site or amazon ... or anywhere!

Sorry to say spare parts are not a thing to just go into an e-shop/to Amazon and put it in the basket. For spare parts, you need to go to the seller you bought your stroller at or contact the manufacturer (in this case, Chicco ) directly. Try their customer service. It may be the spare part will be sold to you, but also possible it will not be aveilable to get anymore. It all depends on the producer and his possibility to order the part for you - here is Chicco's contact form to get in touch with their customer service.

If nothing else, browse eBay and classifieds, maybe somebody sells their pushchair for parts.
