Wonderful Clean Dog Friendly Park

We were very impressed by the spotless amenities - and my husband who needs to use disabled facilities found them to be excellent. They were more than welcoming to our fur babies and anyone that travels with their animals can tell you how important that is. A beautiful park area to walk the animals as well as swings for those with children. Would highly recommend to grey nomads with fur babies. Thank you for having us stay - we will come again.

Great park staff very helpful courtesy bus will come and picl up and drop off, food in the Clib Hotel is good , very clean park well laid out. The weekend staff ( Dot ) way very helpful went out of her way to make us feel welcome Jed & Trish

Brisbane hogs weekend away with a group of about 85 people choose this wonderful park as our stopover. The friendliness by the staff was only matched by their professional way that they quickly organized us all into our cabins after a long days riding. The cabins were equal to the best I have stayed in, modern, clean & and the best size bathroom and shower ! The meals provided in their dining area were brilliant and a nice variety. The parks surrounds were beautifully maintained with plenty of undercover tables for all. Most importantly I feel the price is exceptional value for money. Not one complaint from our very large group and all agreed that we definitely will be back.

It was our first experience in a motorhome and we chose Chinchilla as our half way pit stop on the way to Taroom. Dot, the Manager, could not do enough for us and we were given a great spot to camp for the night. Unfortunately, the lock on the van was faulty and we were locked out at 10pm after attempting to retire for the night after dinner. Dot was woken, and we spent the night in a cabin until a locksmith arrive the next morning. The cabins were beautifully presented and decorated, air conditioning was excellent. This caravan park is spotless, the cleanest I have seen, so where we usually use the motorhome shower/toilet, we used the park facilities. Super clean. The staff are friendly in the good old fashioned way and nothing is too much trouble. The gardens are beautifully kept. We will definitely stay here again when heading out west. Congratulations.

We spent two nights in the self-contained cabins during the Chinchilla Melon Festival. That weekend was pretty hot, and glad the air conditioner was working well!! The cabin was spacious & supplies were adequate. The staff were friendly & helpful. It may not be in the middle of town, but would definitely recommend it for people who would like to visit Chinchilla.

We were very pleased with the weekend and it was great having you stay with us.

We camped at this tourist park on the weekend for the Chinchilla Melon Fest. The park has great facilities, largest (best) showers I've ever seen. Most of the park is onsite cabins, with space for camping scattered around. As we camped we were out the back area. Small grass land - lovely trees. There is a small pool - enough to keep everyone cool when it's crazy hot outside. The breakfast we indulged in on Sunday was amazing! Highly recommend the breakfast potatoes.. YUM! The owners ran a curtesy bus to and from the festival which was wonderful and made our time, with small children a lot easier.

Staff were fantastic, everything was clean and well cared for. Loved it.

The Tourist Park is well set out, neat and well maintained. The villas are exceptionably clean and modern. The owners are very friendly.

Roomy, comfortable units that are fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly & helpful. On-site Cafe is a very good thing.

Perfect! Everything was perfect. I don't know if it's because I was feeling so great, or if all the conditions were right or if it's just the most perfect place to stay, but this well maintained tourist park was perfect. All the features and fittings were new and clearly good money and thought has gone into everything. Dinner on Saturday night was a surprise, an absolute hefty buffet feast of a meal that continued to feed me through sunday. Bonus points for the chappy who remembered i had stayed almost a year and a half ago! Loved it. Thank you!

We had a spacious modern cabin with a little deck out the front. The staff were friendly and we took advantage of the convenience of the buffet evening meal one night and the BBQ facilities another night. Portions very generous at the buffet. Location ideal for visiting birding sites.

The cabin was in immaculate condition. It was the standard layout, but everything was new and in a very good condition. The BBQ area was the same - immaculate.

The cabin was clean and tidy when we arrived, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. They gave us personal recommendations on where to eat and what to see. We will definitely be staying here again next time we pass through Chinchilla

Chinchilla Tourist Park Features

The beautifully landscaped cabin and caravan park, situated at 264 Zeller Street Chinchilla, will provide all guests and visitors with a comfortable environment for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The cabins are of the highest quality and contain a king or queen bed as well as rooms that can sleep 4 people, 42 inch flat screen television, large refrigerator / freezer, Foxtel, free Wi-Fi, fully self contained kitchen with ceramic cook top and microwave oven. The ensuite is large with shower, vanity basin and toilet.

Chinchilla Tourist Park with cabins and caravan sites is beautifully landscaped with tree lined streets and grassed areas.

Chinchilla Tourist Park has an 100 seat dining room that is open for a full buffet breakfast from 5am and evening meals from 6pm. Lunch is available if required.

The caravan park guests have 2 camp kitchens and 2 amenities blocks for the use of all guests. The camp kitchens have BBQ’s and games areas. Laundries with coin operated machines are also provided.

There is a large fully fenced swimming pool and pool area available for the use of all guests at Chinchilla Tourist Park. It is beautifully landscaped and has seating and tables to sit and relax.

There is also a 3 acre parkland for walking or just sitting and relaxing at one of the seven picnic tables scattered through the park or overlooking the fully fenced dam where you can feed the fish. There is a Bbq area available to use as well.

Caravaners are welcome to bring their pets or guests can stay in our pet friendly cabin.

Chinchilla Tourist Park is situated on Zeller Street Chinchilla, 500 metres away from the Warrego Highway.

The cabin and caravan park is only 5 minutes from the heart of Chinchilla and the RSL Club and hotels. Courtesy buses are available.
