If I could give less stars I would. We were to go to the holy land but reroutd due to the war. Ok, I understand. What I don't understand is the 10+ hour bus ride from Greece to Turkey. There had to have been a better way. There were 9 days left on the itinerary and they accommodated us with a 4 day bus ride. People coughing, no restrictions on the bus, and eating at truck stops instead of sending us somewhere else to get home. Nine days was plenty of time to make better arrangements I did not pay $5000 to eat at truck stops and ride endless hours on a bus. This is a smash and grab. They made sure to pretend to spend the money we paid for a trip to the holy land on a bus ride down the coast of Greece.

I have taken 5 trips with Inspirational tours in the past 8 years, 4 to the Holy Land of Israel and Palestine and 1 to Greece and Turkey - the footsteps of St. Paul. I cannot imagine a tour company could provide a better experience than I have had with Inspirational Tours. In every hotel, our luggage is taken from the bus and at the end of the stay is taken from the room and placed back on the bus - all included in the tour package. I just returned from Israel, there were 50 of us and all agreed, they would never consider another company. Our bus driver and guide were beautiful human beings who worked hard to provide a great experience for us. In November of 2016, we were at the airport ready to board our plane, when the gate attendant noticed one lady's passport was only good for five months after our return and not the required six months. Inspiration Tours got her to the Hyatt in downtown Chicago and set her up for an emergency passport renewal early the next morning. At no expense to her, they booked her on the plane the next day, met her in Israel and provided a car and driver for her to join us in Tiberias. Awesome service! On another trip, our plane from Frankfort was to be a direct flight to Chicago, but had to stop in Newfoundland. By the time we arrived in Chicago, we had missed our connection to Minneapolis. Inspirational Tours had us all rebooked by the time we landed in Chicago. This travel agency goes well beyond any I have ever used.

Do not book your tour with this company. I was going on a tour to the Holy Land with this company and our flight with Lufthansa was cancelled due to Coronavirus. Lufthansa is rebooking or refunding all flights that they cancelled. Despite this, and 2 calls to Lufthansa stating their policy, Inspirational tours stated that we would loose $1500 for our flight if we did not rebook for the tour a year from now. After many emails and visiting their office, we are getting a refund. Inspirational Tours and Moses have no integrity! Individuals and churches should find another company to work with.

After receiving a brochure on Inspirational Tours from church this Sunday, I was excited to learn more about the specifics of group travel. (I have traveled all over the world but have never taken a group tour.) After leaving a message for Maria Bahena (Houston office) to inquire about the package tour set up with my church, Maria never called back. When I tried to phone her again, she never listened to my original voicemail and responded to me in a flat (rude tone) "Yeah, who is this, what do you need?" I was really looking forward to learning more about this tour and was interested in signing up for it this week. It appears I will have to find a new company to book with. The customer service is terrible with this one, and I can only imagine what the service of the actual tour will be like....

Wow - is all I can say! Inspirational Tours is the BEST!!!! I just got back from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and everything was fantastic. We were able to request who we wanted to sit with on the plane and we all got our requests. George, a coptic Christian from Jerusalem, was our tour guide and he was amazing! He was from Jerusalem and had a master's degree in history and there wasn't a question we asked him that he didn't know the answer to. Even though we would pull up and there would be tons of tour buses there, it never felt like anywhere was real crowded cause George knew exactly where to go and what we needed to do. All the hotels we stayed in were great and the sites just amazing. I felt like we got such value for our money!!! The airline unexpectedly cancelled our flight right before returning home and George was able to work it out to let us stay in our same hotel room until the airline got us a new flight so we got a bonus day in Jerusalem. George even went to the airport with us and made sure we all knew exactly where to go. I can't say enough good things about this tour or this company. I would travel again and use them in a heartbeat!!! I am recommending to all my friends!

My wife & I booked a Holy Land tour through Inspirational Tours and we were totally dissatisfied with their service. The tour guide made several jokes & comments that were insensitive to both Jews & Protestants. The guide seemed to steer our group exclusively to businesses of his friends & family. The last afternoon of the pilgrimage, after visiting the Western Wall with a portion of our group, he made an unscheduled trip to Bethlehem to patronize a vendor that he had a relationship with as a "last chance"for us to do more shopping. Our return flight was rescheduled the night before to a different airline because of a fear of a pilot strike. Our guide did not verify our departure the prior evening, causing us to spend the night on the concrete floor of Ben Gurion airport. We had prepaid for round trip first class tickets but a portion of the return was in coach. Inspirational Tours did nothing to facilitate our getting a refund from Lufthansa even though we had paid Inspirational Tours for the tickets and upgrade, not the airline. After a long 4-month ordeal, Lufthansa sent refund checks made payable to us to Inspirational Tours and Inspirational Tours only sent us our refund after we doggedly pursued the issue. I will never, ever use this tour company again.

I just got back from Spain, France and Italy. It was a nightmare. We had to take care of our luggage. Loading and unloading at hotels. Hotels were not good. No air conditioning and was not told. I think they took advantage of our priest. Hope he does not use them again

Wow - is all I can say! Inspirational Tours is the BEST!!!! I just got back from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and everything was fantastic. We were able to request who we wanted to sit with on the plane and we all got our requests. George, a coptic Christian from Jerusalem, was our tour guide and he was amazing! He was from Jerusalem and had a master's degree in history and there wasn't a question we asked him that he didn't know the answer to. Even though we would pull up and there would be tons of tour buses there, it never felt like anywhere was real crowded cause George knew exactly where to go and what we needed to do. All the hotels we stayed in were great and the sites just amazing. I felt like we got such value for our money!!! The airline unexpectedly cancelled our flight right before returning home and George was able to work it out to let us stay in our same hotel room until the airline got us a new flight so we got a bonus day in Jerusalem. George even went to the airport with us and made sure we all knew exactly where to go. I can't say enough good things about this tour or this company. I would travel again and use them in a heartbeat!!! I am recommending to all my friends!

Best Pilgrim Trips my family and I have ever took!! Great experience and top notch service from checking in at the airport till coming back a week later!!

Magnificat Travel

Maria Tregre began taking pilgrims to holy places in 1995 for her church parish in Lafayette, LA. The first pilgrimage was profound and a deeply spiritual experience for everyone who traveled so her pastor asked her to plan and lead another.  Then another.  And another.

The fruits of these journeys were clear and actively manifested themselves within the parish and community at large.  Individuals’ personal, family, and spiritual lives were enriched.  Pilgrims were more engaged with their parish communities and had an energized zeal for living their lives for Christ.

Soon, Maria began to feel called to facilitate spiritual journeys full-time.  After some prayer and discernment, Magnificat Travel was founded and began Taking Pilgrims to Holy Places in 2001.

Since then, Magnificat Travel has organized and led thousands of pilgrims and missionaries throughout the United States and to over 20 countries.  God continues to bless the organization as it grows.
