Special Tip

Stay in groups or make friends with other hikers if you're going the entire distance on foot. On the day before your Mandalpatti summit trip, try to limit your travel. When trekking, choose comfortable clothing. You are not permitted to drive your private vehicle to the highest point, under the directives of the Mandalpatti Forest Department. Typically, the hilltop becomes chilly and windy. Therefore, it is advised that you refrain from bringing your young children along.
