Old Hollywood at its best! This was our last studio tour on our trip and it was the most fancy one. Paramount is an old studio and they have made some classic old timey movies over the years. Full Review

My friends and I had an unforgettable tour the other day with Dante, the tour guide. He was super nice and we quickly bonded with him over our love for movies. He was incredibly knowledgable about the history of the studio lot as well as movies in general! He took his time with us and answered all of our questions. He told us he wants to be a movie producer one day. With the enthusiasm and passion for movies that he exuded on our tour, that will surely happen someday. As for the tour itself, we loved seeing the iconic props and set pieces in the prop house, as well as other famous spots around the lot. Full Review

Paramount Pictures Studio Tour in Hollywood

When visiting Hollywood, most people want to see something related to the movies. While there is the famous walk of fame and places like that, one of the best ways to go behind the scenes of the movies is to tour one of the studio backlots. There are four ways to do this, Sony, Warner Brothers , Universal, and Paramount. I have done all of them but Sony and enjoyed each one. One note, it is a little pricey but is it one of those unique things you can really only do in Hollywood, here is all the information.

  • Tour information here
  • Parking cost $15 unless you can find street parking

Getting There

paramount pictures studio tour cost

If you are staying in Los Angeles, using Uber or Lyft is probably the best way to get to the studio and save the parking fees. If you drive, there is a lot right across the street from the main entrance, but it does cost $15. This parking lot is what we used when we went.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

After heading across the street and checking in 15 minutes before our tour, we were ushered into a waiting room that had a bunch of clothing, props, and movie clips from some of the famous films that were shot on the lot.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

When it was time for our tour to start, our guide met us and took us through a few rooms showing us more props and telling us about the history of the studio. One of the things I appreciated was that these tours were small, with six people max, so it was a much more personal experience that made the price worth it.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

We got on a golf cart, which is what we spent the next hour and a half on as we zipped around the backlot. There were lots of chances to get off and walk around as well.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

The first stop we made was at one of the sound studios where they shoot movie scenes, and it was cool to see what movies had been filmed here on the plaque outside.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

From there, we went to the recreation of the New York and Chicago city streets. Our guide showed us clips from many of the movies that had been filmed on the streets as we walked around.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

It was amazing to see how these places can be transformed to work for so many different types of backdrops in many movies I had actually seen but had no idea were filmed here.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

This was what made the tour so great as it gave you an appreciation for the work that goes into making each scene of a movie.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

From there, we continued around the backlot and got out at more studios and learned more about the different productions.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

We got to go to the main entrance as well which, was set up for Christmas and which had the bench from Forest Gump that you could sit on.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

The last stop we made was at a set up sound studio for the Netflix show Frankie and Grace. I couldn’t take photos inside, but it was so fun to be able to walk through an actual set like this.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

After getting back to where the tour started, there was one more stop at a large prop room.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

This room had all sorts of props from popular movies that you could see up close and even interact with. It was entertaining to see all of them, and my favorite was the Optimus Prime truck that was just sitting in the room.

paramount pictures studio tour cost

Honestly, I was impressed with this tour, and even though it is pricy for a family, it was a unique experience and something that can really only be seen in Hollywood. If you are interested in movies, check it out or tour one of the other studios around the city. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Is it worth taking the Paramount your on a Sunday afternoon or is it really shut down?

I took the tour on a Saturday and it seemed pretty desolate. So no celebrity sightings. But we were able to see the inside of a soundstage.

We decided for our corporate event to do the VIP Tour and so glad we did! Working with the tour group department at Paramount - thank you Charles! - was great, helped plan out everything for our corporate tour. We had the lunch included and I have to say I had a bit of low expectations of how the lunch set up or food quality was going to be, but Paramount WAY exceeded them. They had our entire group set up in the Paramount theater, lunch was set up so nice, professional and the food was excellent! Accommodated any vegetarian requests, anything you needed. The tour guides were fantastic, Noah especially, wow he knows his movie history! Tour was fun, you learned so much, I have to say VIP Tour was definitely worth it and I would so recommend it to anyone or even if you want to do a team event. Thank you Paramount!

Less flashy than the Warner Brother's studio tour, but we had an amazing tour guide who more than made up for it. Our tour guide was passionate and knowledgeable. She did an amazing job of guiding us through the lot and giving us (what seemed to be) a run-down of the industry basic movie-filing tricks. The tour may not be as "cool" for young kids, but I think older kids and adults would be thoroughly impressed.

Beautiful lot with tons of history. The pages/tour guides are exceptionally friendly and really seemed to enjoy what they do. I can't speak in terms of the value of the tour cost (as I was gifted this tour along with my guests), but out of all the major studio lots I've been to, this one is up there.

We had the best time on our VIP Studio Tour with Patrick on February 18, 2020. It was the best thing we did while we were in LA. We were in a small group of just four guests which was awesome because Patrick really got to know all of us and our interests and worked to tailor our tour to the things we were interested in. The tour flew by because it was so interesting! We heard so many fascinating stories about the studio and history and saw a lot of different spots where movie scenes were filmed. Patrick would show us the area, tell us a little bit about it, and then show scenes from the area on a iPad. Patrick was like a film encyclopedia - he could talk about anything you brought up with ease. We also really enjoyed looking at some of the costumes, props, and one of the sound stages. On top of the great tour, the lunch provided was also great.

We went on the vip tour with paramount! Maya was our tour guide! Even though my family was the only one on the vip tour, she made it clear that we could be in charge of the tour! The tour was very professional and I would go back! Maya was very knowledgeable on what everything was! Way to go paramount!!!

I really wanted to tour a studio while I was in town for my birthday. It was for a good price and they also gave me a military discount! Our tour guide was very informative and professional. I have never been on a set before so that was really cool to see. I was also fascinated at seeing the trailers used by the stars.( I saw LL Cool J's. ) We went inside Dr. Phil's sound stage , The Doctors and the new Nickelodeon show called School of Rock. Our tour was led by Bridgette ( I believe) who was great. At the end of the tour she went and got me a poster for my birthday! She remembered that I had said I liked scary movies and brought back a Paranormal Activity poster. Lots of shows I have watched have shot here and it was cool to see the names of the shows outside the stages. Very iconic studio for sure. I love Lucy etc.. It definitely has a lot of old Hollywood history as well. You are on a cart for the tour but you definitely do not stay on it . There was a lot of opportunities to get off the cart and take pictures. You can't take any pictures inside of the sound stages but that's to be expected. I did not see any celebrities but depending on the time you come in and do a tour.... You never know who you might see.

I took this tour with some hesitation but boy am I glad I went. It was amazing. We were warmly greeted and presented with personalized name badges. This personal touch was just a foregleam for what was to come. Our tour guide was Samuel. Now Samuel is the epitome of what a tour guide should be. He was very enthusiastic, accommodating and knowledgeable. Although the sound stages and the overall grounds of Paramount are amazing my favorite part was the New York scene and being able to guess the neighborhoods. Overall, the Paramount tour was enjoyable and highly recommended. Thanks again Samuel for a great experience...from your New York friends.

We scheduled a tour for our family of four for 1/14/2020 at 10am. I really wasn't sure what to expect but figured it will at the least be interesting. The checkin was easy and the guy at the register was super pleasant. We were directed into a room to wait for our appointment. Cool stuff in the waiting area. A number of outfits worn in movies, pictures of behind the scenes of some old movies and Oscar awards from years gone by. After a bit we met our studio tour guide, Nate B. He was so congenial and made the rest of the wait go fast. I could ll tell it was gonna be a fun time. He was so engaging and entertained our endless questions. He shared his story of how he ended up in LA and working at Paramount Studios. Very cool to know that Paramount scouts out graduating students all over the nation. We were fortunate enough to meet an actor who was onsite filming. He was kind and thoughtful enough to head over to our tram and introduce himself I highly recommend this tour and hope that you get someone as wonderful as Nate!

We went on the night tour and it was terrific! We traveled through out the premises. We heard lots of old Hollywood stories (and new ones, too!) Our favorite part of the tour was when we entered the Hollywood Forever Cemetery! We loved seeing all the stars graves at night. I would highly recommend this tour!!! I wish I could remember our tour guide's name (it was about 2 months ago) He totally ROCKED!!!

Los Angeles is the capital of American cinema . It is here that the masterpieces that marked the childhood of many came to life. After having given you information to help you plan your visit to Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Studios in Hollywood and Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, we want to dedicate an article to the most long-lived movie studios in Los Angeles: Paramount Pictures .

The snowy mountain surrounded by stars in Paramount Pictures’ logo introduced movies like The Ten Commandments , Roman Holiday , Saturday Night Fever , The Godfather , Indiana Jones , Forrest Gump , Braveheart , Mission: Impossible , and Titanic , to name but a few. For over 100 years , Paramount Pictures has produced some of the most famous films in history, as well as TV series that have become famous, such as Star Trek , Happy Days , Monk, and more recently, NCIS: Los Angeles , Glee , Gracie & Frankie, MacGiver and This is Us . Let’s find ou t how to visit Paramount Pictures Studios and what do you see on studio tour .

Paramount Studios: Location and Directions

The history of paramount pictures, what do you see on studio tour, paramount studios or universal studios a comparison, where to stay in the area.

  • Coming from 101 Freeway, take the exit for Melrose Avenue heading west and enter Windsor Lot A , on the left at the corner of Melrose Avenue and Windsor Boulevard.
  • Coming from 10 Freeway , take the exit for La Brea Avenue heading north, turn right on Melrose Avenue and enter Windsor Lot A on the right at the corner of Melrose Avenue and Windsor Boulevard.
  • Those who plan to take public transportation to get around Los Angeles must use either Bus 10 (from Downtown ) or Bus 704 (from Santa Monica ) or, alternatively, the DASH bus.

paramount studios tour hours

Paramount Pictures was founded in 1912 by producer Adolph Zukor, who, in the following years, merged his business with three other companies and immediately began to propose himself as a major film distributor. The logo of the film studios  was created around the time of the merger by the entrepreneur W.W. Hodkinson. The mountain was inspired by a childhood memory in Utah , while the stars represented the first 22 stars who were under contract with the film company at that time. Back then actors could not work with multiple film companies and were ‘bought’ and ‘sold’ a bit like today’s professional athletes.

Thanks to the third co-founder, Jesse L. Lasky , the construction of the Studios in Hollywood began in 1926. The project cost 1 million dollars, and when it was complete, Paramount Pictures Studios extended for 26 acres and included 4 large sets. Today Paramount Pictures covers 65 acres and includes 30 different sets, as well as facilities such as the Blue Sky Tank , an area that is completely filled with water when needed, and the New York Street Backlot , a reconstruction of ten different neighborhoods in New York.

Not long after it was founded, the first Oscar was awarded in 1927 for the silent war film Wings , and marked the beginning of the rise of the film company. The first version of The Ten Commandments , which used Technicolor, was also released in the 1920s (the second and most famous version was produced by Paramount in 1956 and won the Oscar for Best Special Effects).

The 60s and 70s were a period of great success and change for Paramount Pictures. It was during these decades that Paramount made Psycho , Breakfast at Tiffany’s , The Godfather , King Kong , Saturday Night Fever , Grease , Apocalypse Now , and Star Trek . At the same time, Paramount began to enter the world of television producing the first TV series, namely Mission: Impossible , Star Trek: The Original Series , and Happy Days .

The 1980s and 1990s confirmed Paramount’s reputation as one of the most important film studios in the world. Forrest Gump , Braveheart , and Titanic won the Oscars for Best Film and Best Director. Titanic , co-produced with 20th Century Fox, holds the record for most Oscars. It won 11 Oscars, the same number that were awarded to Ben-Hur and The Lord of the Rings – The Return of the King . It also remained the highest-grossing film in the history of cinema until 2009 when the record was beaten by Avatar .

Paramount Pictures Tour: Schedule and Tickets

paramount studios tour tickets

You can choose between two tours to discover all the secrets of Paramount Studios: the Studio Tour and the VIP Tour. It is important to note that the schedule of the tours may vary depending on the filming operations planned, so what you can see during the tour varies from day to day and sometimes may even be a little less interesting than other times.

The Studio Tour lasts about 2 hours and the ticket costs $58 (taxes included). Booking in advance is recommended, but you can also go on a tour if you buy the ticket on-site. However, because the limit is 7 people per tour group , it’s easy for tours to be sold out, especially on weekends.

  • In the morning you can choose a time between 9:00 am and 11:30 am . A tour begins every 30 minutes .
  • In the afternoon the tours continue from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm .

Visitors will ride on a golf cart through the various areas of the film studio complex to go behind the scenes of famous movies and TV series, as well as iconic locations such as the Bronson Gate (one of the historic gates of Paramount Pictures and it is the reason why Charles Bronson of Once Upon a Time the West , The Street Hero and The Night Executioner chose Bronson as his stage name), the New York Street Backlot (the streets of New York), and the Prop Warehouse (a large warehouse where costumes and props are stored).

The VIP Tour lasts 4.5 hours and costs $178 (including taxes). It is required to make a reservation for this tour.

This tour gives visitors access to the archives and the special effects and sound area , a lunch or a gourmet aperitif with champagne depending on the time of the tour, plus a 15% discount at the gift shop. Parking and a souvenir photo are included in the price. On this tour, you will explore parts of the film studio complex that are otherwise not open to the public and you will feel like a VIP among VIPs.

Paramount studios hollywood

When you’re in Hollywood, you have to visit at least one of the great Los Angeles movie studios that have made the history of cinema… it would be a missed opportunity! In order to make a good choice and not risk being disappointed, it’s important to know what kind of experience you will have when you visit  the biggest American film companies.

In the case of Paramount Pictures, you can’t expect to have a tour with breathtaking special effects like the tour of Universal Studios . Unlike Universal Studios, Paramount is not a theme park . Instead, it has real movie sets still in operation . As you walk or ride the shuttle, you might meet Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Chris O’Donnell, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin or Lucas Till and all actors who, at the time I’m writing this article, are cast in television series produced by Paramount Pictures.

In short, I suggest you choose a tour of Paramount Studios if you want a guided tour in a small group and want to hear the guide tell anecdotes and curiosities while using a tablet to play scenes of movies shot on the sets you are visiting. Thanks to the earphones provided, you won’t have any difficulty hearing the guide as you look around you and explore the studios (mostly outside). The ability to interact with the guide and see some of the sets still in use inside are advantages of these tours. You will have an idea of what goes on behind the scenes of films that have made the history of cinema.

For all the tips on where to stay overnight near Hollywood and in Los Angeles in general, I refer you to our article about accommodations in Los Angeles . Click on the link below and you’ll find specific recommendations for hotels in Hollywood.

Warning: Operating hours can change and closures for extraordinary events can occur, so we strongly suggest to check the venues official websites.

Sony’s Plans for Paramount Include Sale of Famous Studio Lot

(Bloomberg) -- Sony Group Corp. plans to sell the historic Paramount Pictures lot in Los Angeles, featured in films such as Sunset Boulevard , if it succeeds in buying the studio’s parent company, according to people familiar with management’s thinking.

The consumer electronics giant already owns a large film and TV-production facility in nearby Culver City. Tokyo-based Sony is most interested in Paramount Global for its intellectual property, which includes movies like The Godfather and Top Gun: Maverick , said the people, who asked to not be identified because the discussions are private. It plans to keep Paramount Pictures as a label within Sony.

Sony is partnering with Apollo Global Management Inc. on a proposed $26 billion purchase of Paramount Global, which also owns networks like CBS, MTV and Nickelodeon. The two submitted a nonbinding letter of interest last week and are negotiating access to Paramount’s books for a closer examination before making a definitive offer.

The New York Times reported on Wednesday that Sony’s plans include selling Paramount’s TV stations and streaming service. Sony and Apollo declined to comment.

The pair are competing against a rival proposal from independent film and TV producer David Ellison. He’s offered to buy out the Redstone family, which owns a majority of Paramount’s voting stock, and merge his company, Skydance Media, into Paramount. A monthlong period of exclusive talks between Paramount board’s and Skydance expired last week.

Ellison and his partners, which include investor RedBird Capital Partners, are mulling what to do next, according to a person familiar with their thinking. Their last offer included a $3 billion investment in Paramount to fund a cash payout to shareholders and bolster the balance sheet. They could also just walk away.

Real estate investors have chased Hollywood studio space in recent years amid a boom in film and TV production. The market has cooled considerably, however, as entertainment giants reduce spending amid ongoing losses in their streaming TV businesses.

In 2021, Hackman Capital and Square Mile Capital Management acquired Kaufman Astoria Studios, the original New York home of Paramount Pictures, and the 55-acre CBS Studio Center in Los Angeles. The latter fetched $1.85 billion. At 65 acres, the Paramount space is bigger and also in a more central location.

Paramount Pictures is the only major film studio headquartered in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Having its lot turned into just another production space would be a “disaster” for the community, said Brian Curran, president of Hollywood Heritage, which operates a museum in the original building used by some of Paramount’s founders.

“There’s a number of good landlords in Hollywood, but when just a landlord takes over, the cultural artifacts go elsewhere,” Curran said in an interview. “It’s a real risk that we’d be taking, as someone who works in historic preservation, it would be an endangered monument.”

Locations like the Paramount lot, known for its ornate entry gates, don’t come on the market often. It’s now part of Hollywood lore that Paramount Pictures was performing so poorly in the 1960s that the company’s owner, Gulf+Western, almost sold the property to the cemetery behind the studio.

Tyler Cassity, whose family owns the Hollywood Forever cemetery, said he’s not interested in purchasing the studio lot but hopes it ends up in good hands. The cemetery and the studio sometimes share parking and organize mutual tours. Both the cemetery and the studio have embarked on expansion efforts.

“There’s a master plan waiting for somebody to invest,” Cassity said in an interview. “We don’t want them to go away.”

The lot holds sentimental value for Paramount Global Chair Shari Redstone, who in the past visited the studio with her now-deceased father Sumner. Paramount’s board didn’t engage with Apollo on an earlier $11 billion offer for Paramount’s film business alone, in part because Shari didn’t want the company broken up.

In the midst of negotiations to sell his family’s Fox entertainment assets to Walt Disney Co. several years ago, Lachlan Murdoch had a change of heart and asked to keep the historic lot. Disney now leases the space for TV production.

Sony and Apollo make formal $26-billion joint bid for Paramount

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Apollo Global Management have officially put in a bid for Paramount Global, as competition for the storied film and TV company continues to heat up.

Sony and Apollo submitted their $26-billion all-cash offer this week, according to a person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to comment.

Under the terms of the proposed deal, Sony would take a majority shareholder role in the company, with Apollo as a minority shareholder. The joint bid is a nonbinding expression of interest.

David Ellison’s journey from trust fund kid to media mogul vying to buy Paramount

Skydance Media CEO David Ellison, son of billionaire Larry Ellison, has emerged as a strong contender to take over the iconic Paramount studios.

April 22, 2024

The companies do not see regulatory approval as a hurdle to the deal, the person said, even though it would lead to the combination of two of Hollywood’s major movie studios.

Apollo already owns a minority stake in “Dune” producer Legendary Entertainment. The deal could run up against Federal Communications Commission rules that restrict foreign ownership of broadcast TV stations, so Paramount’s CBS station group likely would have to be sold or licensed to Apollo, which already controls Atlanta-based Cox Media Group.

Culver City-based Sony Pictures is owned by Tokyo-based Sony Corp., the electronics giant behind the PlayStation video game system.

The bid comes as Paramount nears the end of a 30-day exclusive negotiating period on Friday with tech scion David Ellison’s Skydance Media, which recently sweetened its takeover offer after outcry from shareholders , who saw the original bid as dilutive to their shares.

Ellison has teamed up with investment firms RedBird Capital Partners and KKR to make a bid to acquire Paramount controlling shareholder Shari Redstone’s National Amusements holding company.

The complicated two-step proposition would involve Paramount acquiring Skydance Media and Ellison taking control of Paramount, including the storied Melrose Avenue Paramount studio lot, broadcast network CBS and various cable channels such as MTV and Comedy Central.

Skydance’s revised offer includes a cash infusion for Paramount and money earmarked for nonvoting shareholders, who have raised concerns that the prior bid would benefit the Redstone family at their expense.

On Monday, Paramount ousted chief executive Bob Bakish , who was known to have opposed the Skydance proposal. His opposition irked Redstone, who also had questioned some of Bakish’s business decisions, including not selling cable network Showtime, according to people familiar with the situation.

The company said three of its top entertainment executives would jointly run the firm: Paramount Pictures CEO Brian Robbins; CBS CEO George Cheeks; and Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios chief Chris McCarthy.

Analyst Jamie Lumley at financial research firm Third Bridge described the bid as Sony and Apollo’s best attempt to make Paramount an offer it couldn’t refuse, though it could be futile at this point.

“Ultimately, this offer could be coming in after the 11th hour if the sweetener Skydance added in last weekend is enough to get a deal over the line,” Lumley wrote in a statement. “With the exit of Bob Bakish as CEO, Paramount is likely looking to finalize a deal as soon as possible as it plots a path forward for its beleaguered business.”

Shares of Paramount were up 12.5% to $13.80 around 12:30 p.m. PDT on Thursday.

Adding to the complications, Paramount also is in negotiations with Charter Communications to work out a new deal for carriage of the company’s TV channels. Paramount is heavily reliant on the fees it reaps from its TV stations, despite flagging ad revenue and increasing cord cutting. The outcome of these negotiations could factor into Paramount’s valuation in the event of a sale.

Where to watch movies for free in Moscow this summer

People watching a movie in a Pioner 24-hour open-air cinema in Gorky Park.

People watching a movie in a Pioner 24-hour open-air cinema in Gorky Park.

Temporary cinemas will be popping up across Moscow very soon, starting from July 16. All of the spots are brilliant examples of either constructivist or avant-garde architecture, so expect striking settings. A selection of classic Soviet films will be aired using cinematic equipment from the last century. All the screenings are free although online registration is required beforehand, while there will also be guided tours of the spaces, organized by the “Moscow through the Engineer's Eyes” company.

Registration will be open soon at mos-kino.ru

Bread factory

Bread factory 9 / Bezik (CC BY-SA)

Following the success of former factories transformed into art spaces (VinZavod, Arma, Trekhgornaya manufacture), Khlebzavod (“bread factory”) No 9 is one newly opened joint that is attracting creative types from all over the city. The movie Time! Forward! will be screened in the building’s boiler room on July 16. It follows workers from the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, one of the largest steel companies in Russia, and is based on a novel by Soviet writer Valentin Kataev.

What’s more, Khlebzavod is a monument to constructivist architecture. Where better to watch such a film?

Roof of the Narkomfin Building

Narkomfin Building / Kirill Zykov/Moskva Agency

The Narkomfin Building was originally designed to house high ranking employees at the Commissariat of Finance. It was built by architects Moisei Ginsburg and Ignaty Milinis. Also a fine example of constructivism, it’s currently in a state of disrepair, locked down, and fairly difficult to get into - which is like a red flag to a bull for more adventurous types.

However, on July 30 the place will be opened up and people will be welcomed onto the roof to watch the film Faith and Truth.

Khrushchyovka courtyard

Cheremushki district / Alexander Scherbak/TASS

A courtyard located in the 9th experimental block of the Novye Cheremushki district will turn into an outdoor cinema this summer. Cheremushki is the first district where Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchyov decided to build the iconic Khrushchyovka apartment blocks in the 1950s. As a result, thousands of Russians were given their own pads after decades living huddled together in communal apartments known as kommunalka .

Cheremushki is the adapted film-version of Dmitry Shostakovich’s operetta and will be shown here on Aug. 6. The organizers of the multiple screenings - the Moskino cinema chain - say they will revive the Soviet tradition of neighbors meeting in courtyards for a good old tongue wag. There will also be a guided tour of the block.

Address to be confirmed at mos-kino.ru

Pioneers Palace

Pioneers Palace / Legion Media

If you want a slice of the postwar Soviet avant-garde style, head to the Pioneers Palace at Vorobyevy Gory. Pioneers Palaces were youth centers for sport, creativity, and hobbies for Young Pioneers (a communist organization for children) during the Soviet Union. There were dance classes, martial arts, drawing, and many other activities.

To Love a Man , a movie about two young architects building a new town in Siberia, will be shown here on Aug. 22. There will also be a lecture about building experiments in the 20th century.

The last cinema venue remains a secret. On Aug. 27 there will be a screening, but at the moment no one knows where. Information will appear on mos-kino.ru but those who attend all four screenings above will be able to guess the last location.

A talk about architecture and Soviet history also will be hosted here.

From About You Decor … Our design is a symbol of dawn and a distant endless horizon. Ahead is a long, happy life without any borders. An international couple, Pavel and Cherry, met in London and have been walking together for many years.

From the Bride, Cherry… My husband and I we decided to have our summer wedding in Moscow because the city is where his roots are. As we knew we were going to have the other wedding ceremony in China, we wanted our Moscow one to be very personal and intimate. We’ve known each other since we were fourteen, together with many of our friends whom we’ve also known for a decade.

I didn’t want to walk down the aisle twice so the plausibility of my request quickly came into discussion. The open pontoon stage was constructed in order to facilitate the bridal entrance on water, although there were concerns about safety as the last thing we wanted was probably a drowned bride before she could get on stage, picture that! I have to say on that day it wasn’t easy to get on the pontoon stage from the boat, in my long gown and high heels. Luckily my bridesmaids still noticed even though they stood the furthest from me on the stage, and helped me out without prior rehearsal. My girls could just tell whenever I needed a hand or maybe they were just so used to my clumsiness. Who knows 😂

We all love our photographer Julia! She’s so talented and her style is so unique. Our beloved host Alex is exceptional who made everyone laugh and cry. It was truly a blessing to have so many kind and beautiful souls on our big day. Thank you all!

I’m still not convinced this Moscow wedding, captured to perfection by  Sonya Khegay , isn’t actually an inspiration session—it’s just  that breathtaking. From the beautiful Bride’s gorgeous lace wedding dress and flawless hair and makeup to the pretty pastel color palette and stunning ceremony and reception spaces, this wedding is almost too good to be true. Do yourself a favor and see it all in The Vault now!

From Sonya Khegay … It was the last day of April and still very cold in the morning. The weather forecast wasn’t pleasing and no one expected that the sun would come out, but miracles happen and light rain gave way to the warm rays.

I love how all the details went together, you could feel the harmony in everything throughout the entire wedding day from the morning until the fireworks.

A gentle look of the bride, elegant but so airy and unique decor, the fresh and light atmosphere of early spring and, of course, true happiness in the eyes. My heart becomes so warm from these memories, it is always a pleasure to see the birth of a new family of two loving hearts.

You really can’t go wrong with simple: a beautiful Bride , perfectly pretty petals , loved ones all around. But add in an amazing firework show  to cap off the night and simple just became downright extraordinary. Captured by Lena Elisseva , with assistance by  Katya Butenko , this rustic Russian celebration is simply fantastic. See it all in the Vault right here !

From Lena Eliseeva Photo …  This cozy and warm summer wedding of gorgeous Natalia and Anton was in the middle of June. The young couple decided to organize their wedding themselves, and the day was very personal and touching. I am absolutely in love with rustic outdoor weddings, and this one is my favourite because of the free and easy atmosphere.

All the decor excluding the bride’s bouquet was made by a team of ten friends of the bride and groom. And it was charming – a light and beautiful arch, eco-style polygraphy and succulents, candy-bar with caramel apples and berries – sweet joys of summer.

At the end of ceremony the guests tossed up white handkerchiefs embroidered by Natalia’s own hands.

The most touching moment was the happy eyes of the groom’s grandmother, the most estimable person on the wedding. And the fireworks were a bright end to that beautiful day.

These photos from Lena Kozhina are so stunningly beautiful – as in you can’t help but stop and stare – it’s hard to believe it’s real life. But these pics are proof of this gorgeous Bride and her handsome Groom’s celebration at Moscow’s Fox Lodge , surrounded by vibrant colors and breathtaking blooms . Oh, and the idea of prepping for your Big Day outside in the sun ? Brilliant. See more bright ideas right here !

From Lena Kozhina … When we met with the couple for the first time, we immediately paid attention to Dima’s behavior towards Julia. There was a feeling of tenderness and awe, and we immediately wanted to recreate this atmosphere of love, care and warmth on their Big Day.

Later, when we had chosen a green meadow and an uncovered pavilion overlooking a lake as the project site, it only highlighted a light summer mood with colorful florals and a great number of natural woods. The name of the site is Fox Lodge and peach-orange color, as one of the Bride’s favorites, set the tone for the whole design – from the invitations, in which we used images of fox cubs to elements of serving guest tables and other decorative elements with the corresponding bright accents.
