 Grenada is also known as the "Island of Spice" due to the production of nutmeg and mace crops of which Grenada is one of the world's largest exporters.  

 Intoxicating natural beauty, sunny skies, warm waters, and white sandy beaches combine to make Grenada one of the most seductive spots in the Caribbean. Christopher Columbus first spotted Grenada in 1493, when it was populated with native tribes, but the Europeans didn't colonize until the French conquered it in 1650.

  Greetings and welcome to Grenada.  My name is Stan Grainger, I am the owner / operator of JnJ Tours.  JnJ Tours was started nearly 10 years ago on the premise that nothing beats personalized service, experience, and attention to detail. As a former member of the US military I believe that attention to detail is vital for any successful undertaking. 

 Naming JnJ tours after my two daughters Jasmine and Jennell; I wanted to provide visitors to Grenada a relaxing, informative view of the beauty and diversity that the Island has to offer.  Essentially I wanted to showcase our beautiful Island to you. 

 At JnJ Tours we want you to relax in Air-conditioned comfort and savor a relaxing tour through our rain forest reserve. Drive along our picturesque coastline and visit some of the secluded bays and quiet fishing villages.  Our tours vary, based on time and what you would like to see.  If you look at our "Tour Sites" page a more informative look at we have to offer is available.

In addition to detailing the projected top 10 most popular international destinations of 2024, the site also revealed 10 “dupes” for travelers looking to perhaps spend a bit less, as well as those hoping to be surrounded by fewer fellow tourists. Additionally, they revealed 10 affordable cities where the world’s biggest musical acts are set to perform, as well as where to travel if you live a sober lifestyle.

“At Expedia Group, we have extensive first-party travel data that we use to enhance and curate experiences for our travelers across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo,” Jon Gieselman, president of Expedia Brands, says in the report. “These insights shape our travel forecasts, revealed in Unpack '24, enabling our travelers to be the first to discover and book the most desired trips before they become well-beaten paths.”

Expedia Group predicts that travelers are most likely to jet set to destinations popularized in fan-favorite TV shows and movies. According to the report, “More than half of travelers say they’ve researched or booked a trip to a destination after seeing it on a TV show or in a movie. In fact, travelers say TV shows influence their travel decisions more than Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts.” With that in mind, they reveal that the top 10 travel destinations of 2024 are as follows:

• Thailand - Featured in White Lotus , Season 3—which has sadly been pushed to premiere in 2025
• Romania - Featured in Wednesday , Season 2—which has not yet set a release date
• Malta - As seen in Gladiator 2 , which is set to premiere on November 22, 2024
• Paris - As seen in Emily in Paris
• Scottish Highlands - Featured in Outlander
• London, Bath, and Windsor, U.K. - As seen in Bridgerton and The Crown

Kevin Hart 2024 tour: Here is how to get tickets to the recently announced ‘Acting My Age’ tour

Kevin Hart will perform in New Jersey on June 30 during his "Acting My Age" tour.

Kevin Hart is coming to a city near you this year.

Hart is set to head out on his “Acting My Age” tour on June 29 in Westbury, N.Y. and will wrap up on Dec. 4 in Philadelphia .

While on tour, the comedian will perform at the Prudential Center in Newark on June 30 .

He will also perform in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. on July 20 at the MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center.

“‘Acting my Age’ is my ninth tour, and I wanted to change things up by creating a more intimate environment. This tour is about connecting with the audience and feeding off the crowd’s energy and laughter,” Hart said in a statement.

There will be several “Acting My Age” tour presales, which are set to begin on April 17 at 10 a.m. with code COMEDY and end on April 19 at 9:45 a.m. through Ticketmaster .

The general sale will begin on April 19 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster .

Comedy show fans can also secure tickets on secondary market websites, such as StubHub , Vivid Seats , TicketCity and SeatGeek .

The cheapest ticket available to his New Jersey show, before fees and at the time of publication, is $71 on Vivid Seats .

First-time Vivid Seats users can save $20 on ticket orders over $200 by entering promo code NJ20 at checkout.

N.J. Rep. Donald Payne Jr. dies at 65

Rep. Donald Payne Jr., D-N.J., has died at age 65 after several weeks in the hospital following "a physical accident at his home on April 6," his office confirmed in a statement Wednesday.

“During his treatment for this health issue, he faced medical complications due to diabetes and high blood pressure that led to subsequent cardiorespiratory arrest," the statement said. "Despite the dedicated efforts of the medical staff to treat him and improve his health, they were unable to prevent his passing unfortunately.”

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy said in a statement that he and his wife were "deeply saddened."

“With his signature bowtie, big heart, and tenacious spirit, Donald embodied the very best of public service," Murphy said. "As a former union worker and toll collector, he deeply understood the struggles our working families face, and he fought valiantly to serve their needs, every single day."

He continued, “Donald’s love will live on in the homes of his neighbors in Newark, who now have access to safe drinking water, and in the good-paying jobs he helped create for his brothers and sisters in labor."

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., reacted to the news on X , calling Payne "a good friend, highly effective public servant and compassionate leader. My prayers and support are with the Payne family and his loved ones during this difficult time. May he forever Rest in Peace."

With Payne’s death and the recent resignation of Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., there are now 217 Republicans and 212 Democrats in the House.

Payne experienced a "cardiac episode" early this month after complications linked to his diabetes, his office said last week, after the New Jersey Globe  reported that he remained unconscious at the time. Earlier in the month, Payne's office said he was improving and had a "good" prognosis and an expectation of a "full recovery."

He had served in Congress since November 2012, representing New Jersey's 10th Congressional District, which covers parts of Essex, Hudson and Union counties. Payne succeeded his father, Rep. Donald M. Payne, who also died in office.

Payne Jr. was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus and served on the House Homeland Security and Transportation and Infrastructure committees. He last voted in late March.

New Jersey law says the governor can schedule a special primary and a special general election in the event of a House vacancy. The special primary election must be held 70 to 76 days after the governor’s proclamation, and the special general election must be held 64 to 70 days after the primary.

It appears that the new vacancy is too late for a special election to coincide with the state’s June 4 primary, in which Payne was running unopposed.

The state Elections Department did not immediately respond to a request for clarification.

The filing deadline for congressional races has also passed.

Payne’s seat is expected to remain in Democratic hands. President Joe Biden won the 10th District, which includes Newark, by 62 percentage points in 2020, according to calculations from Daily Kos Elections .
