I can’t thank you guys enough for my experience in purchasing a new RV. Everyone (Coach, Billy, Curtis, Mat and Robert) was extremely nice and very diligent in helping me through the process. What an experience and process! It was simply an awesome way for me to feel good about buying new when I normally would not. When my wife and I started our RV search a few years ago it was crazy. We spend over a year looking at different coaches and went to dozens of dealerships in several states. None of the other dealers we visited holds a candle to what MHSRV has in a dealership! Keep in mind I said we looked for over a year! We ended up purchasing from an individual because no dealer made me feel good about our purchase! But that was all erased when I drove on to the MHSRV lot. The minute I arrived in my old RV I was absolutely blown away!! Just the sheer size of the place is awesome! But seeing all those RV’s hooked up like a campground that was just the best! Each one I walked in was like walking into my own. The lights were on and the AC was blowing cold and it was just remarkable! I was even given a golf cart to ride around on without a salesman to tag along! What?! That’s crazy!! Who does that?! MHSRV does, that’s who! Guys, this was simply the best way to end the search for a new RV.

Now there is one negative to this purchase. Sorry to end this on a bad note but when I got home my wife loved it and said to me; you better get me a Washer and Dryer in here. When I asked why she said “we’re going to be doing a lot of traveling.” J So now I got to find her a Washer and Dryer. But on the good side of that, during my deliver process Mat told me the hook ups were there so that’s good!

I can’t say enough about how great this experience was and how great you guys were! In the great words of John Fogerty: Put me in Coach, I’m ready to Play! ( I mean RV )

He states that all functions work as intended to the best of his knowledge and described other recent updates of the batteries and newer Goodyear tires. All receipts and Owners Manual are available. This is a Collectable RV in its original condition and stored inside all its life. This 2000 Trek by Safari is in All Original Condition, full rear bathroom, full kitchen, a nice laid-out living room area, AND, a MAJIC BED, lowers from the ceiling, giving you all the comforts of a BIG RIG. The Safari Trek was built by Monaco coach builders, well-known for their quality coaches. This unit is powered by a 290 HP 454 Vortec Chevy engine mated with the well-known GM Hydra-Matic with 4-speed Overdrive., and sits on top of a Workhorse chassis. This is a hard-to-beat combination, and the current seller has been very impressed with his coach. Safari coaches have an aluminum-framed superstructure with a peaked aluminum roof and fiberglass insulation. This all helps in the heating and cooling of this coach. The kitchen area has lots of cabinet room with plenty of storage; you will find a microwave convection oven, gas cooktop stove, a dual-door refrigerator, and Corian solid countertops as well. Work Horse Chassis !!! Rear Bath !!! 2001 Safari Trek 2480 , This is the nicest 2001 Trek You will see. I went to California to get her. Everything works perfect. They are almost impossible to find, in good condition, and on the Work Horse Chassis... Do not buy an under powered, or under chassis trek. You will not be happy. If it doesn't have the work horse chassis, Walk away. The work horse chassis you can tell by looking at the front tires, if they sit back 8 to 12 inches, inside the wheel well, You do not have a work Horse. It will have a whole lot of sway going down the road. Without the work horse I would say the trek is dangerous. The Tires are only 2 years old, (Not out of date) Everything is in service. Will need oil change in the next 800 miles. I will be doing oil change for the new owner. The gas, Lp everything is full. Everything works, and is camp ready. 2000 Watts Inverter, Generator, Solar Panels, Flat Screen TV, Sony DVD surround sound, with Ipod/Iphone pad, Sony Stereo, with CD,USB, Ipod/Iphone Aux Jack, Electric Bed, Hydro leveling jacks, 50 amps, Original Trek Sack, Original Trek Chairs, Corian Counter Tops, Real Wood Cabinets with dove tail draws. Very Clean 2001 Trek Safari 2480 Rare DIESEL Slant Nose Luxury Class A

We are selling our beautiful 2001 Trek Safari 2480 Diesel Class A with 64,707 miles. The motorhome is in very good conditions, it's in great shape for a 2001. For those that are not familiar with the Treks, I want to clarify that they provide the comfort and luxury of a much larger coach in a very unique way. Treks do not have a "bed Room", they have an "ElectroMagic Bed" that is hidden away above your head until you need it to sleep. I much prefer this arrangement that allows the convenience and added safety of Driving a ten feet shorter coach. The magic bed in the photo goes down more than in the image. Everything works and several extras are included in the sale including a Front windshield Magne Shade ($487.00), flatscreen tv, a surround system, patio and window awning, Pathmaker package, beautiful mural on rear of coach, rear camera double pane window and much more. The quiet generator runs on propane and only has 202 hours. I just had the fiberglass roof sealed with two coats of an elastometric roof sealant, not because it needed it but as an added preventive maintenance. The motor and transmission sound and run beautifully. You can drive this coach with confidence to Alaska or anywhere you desire. Take it and have a pleasant adventure discovering the continent. The diesel safari treks are rare and more valuable, specially with the sought after slant nose. The diesel units original cost was over $110,000. Our asking price is very good considering it is a diesel. I cannot find another online lower. They are very well built (heavy duty fiberglass and thick aluminum) by Safari which is a division of Monaco. Everything on this coach is constructed of quality materials and was built to last.
