The bus was on time and relatively clean. The chauffeur said we couldn’t board because we were not at the central station. He did not know we had made reservations online.
I arrived early at the bus stop to make sure I was there on time and the bus drove right past me and never stopped. Because the bus didn’t pick me up, my whole day of plans and traveling was ruined
The bus experience was great. The accuracy of the pickup location was slightly off. We still just made it though.

Interbus Catania Taormina recent customer reviews
The bus driver did not let me in because the bus was already full. He was selling tickets at the bus station and sold more than he should. He told me to wait for another bus so I did. The driver of the second bus did not let me in because the ticket was "expired". I feel scammed, lost 5 euro and lot of time.
Bus was no problem to get on with my tickets on my phone, there was air conditioning, and I’m glad I took a bus to get up that long winding road!
Ok - bus was timely and ok on price. Was very busy though, and the ride was incredibly bumpy with no suspension & the driver not slowing for speed bumps/pot holes. Also no wheelchair space. Luggage racks reasonable size and extra space underneath the bus.

How Many Days in Taormina
Most tourists visit Taormina for the day. They leave Catania in the morning, walk about the city and go back or continue to other destinations. We believe this is a huge mistake. Some people even ask us: is Taormina worth visiting? Our answer is always a resounding yes!
Taormina is one of the nicest cities in the country. Simply put: there isn’t anything quite like it. Therefore, we strongly recommend spending at least 2 nights in the city. You will be able to see the city’s top attractions during the day without exerting yourself.
We have to be honest: Taormina can get super crowded during the day. What were you expecting? The city is fantastic! However, everything changes by late afternoon. Day tourists leave, and you can see the city in all of its glory illuminated at night. If you wake up early, you will avoid the crowds!
