The drop gate design on select stock trailers features a convenient, one-handed tailgate latch. It lays flat against the drop wall, and the open top beam makes it easy to clean!

The standard gravel guard on bumper pull stock trailers gives the front of your stock trailer extra protection from rocks and debris.

Heavy-Duty Crossmembers

Featherlite stock trailers have a support system second to none underneath the trailer. 4-inch crossmembers run every 12” under most livestock trailers to support your heavy cattle loads.

Sealed LED lights are brighter and provide more visibility to others when traveling with your trailer. Plus, they traditionally last longer than conventional lights. In addition, most models feature dual wraparound LED lights.

PerfectFit System

Pierce & Roll Roof System

Featherlite's exclusive pierce & roll roof system drives high strength rivets into the aluminum, but no hole fully pierces the roof’s skin. Instead a secure, water-resistant crown forms up and around the bottom of every rivet, reducing opportunities for water leakage. Standard riveting used by other manufacturers can create hundreds of holes in the roof of a trailer where water can infiltrate if rivets or openings become worn.

Rubber Dock Bumper

A thick 4” rubber dock bumper on the back of livestock trailers offers improved shock absorption when backing up to gates.

Running Boards

Running boards feature a full-length, one-piece design, giving a consistently wide platform over the length of the trailer for you to check in on your livestock. The running boards also taper near the rear, allowing for easier maneuvering in tighter spaces when unloading/loading livestock. Running boards standard on select trailers and widths.

Easy Care Flooring

Easy Care Flooring offers trailer owners a porous surface that allows fluids to flow through. This option eliminates the need for bedding or cleaning under mats. It’s ¾” thick for ultimate comfort for the safety of horses and livestock.

LED Load Light

To provide extra light and visibility at night during loading and unloading, an optional LED load light is available. Multiple options.

Low Profile Height

Opt for a low profile version (5'3" height) of your stock trailer to better accommodate the transport of smaller livestock.

Lower Air Space

A 2" lower air space for additional air flow is optional on stock trailers.

A pen system option for small livestock includes two removable swinging gate dividers, a removable gate divider and a removable post.

Rear Gate Options

Various rear gate options are available including a full swing rear gate (shown), double rear gates with double cam locks, full swing rear gate with roll up door and more.

For another unloading option, add a side ramp to the curbside or streetside of your trailer. Various sizes and options available.

Western Package

Add the ‘Western’ Package to your rear gates! This option includes stainless steel hinges, heavier gussets for the rear gate and an overall beefier door.

Trailer Details

• Doors All Elite built doors are engineered with heavy duty, proprietary extrusions and constructed to allow for maximum seal.
• Lighting Elite utilizes LED interior and exterior clearance lighting in all wiring harnesses. All wiring connections are plugs or are soldered, covered with heat shrink material.
• Bulkhead Wall .090" smooth sheet welded on to our heavy duty wall posts.
• Lining and Insulation With 4 tiers of protection, Elite Horse Trailers provide the protection from horses kicking and pawing, and help prevent sidewall damage and exterior dings.
• Axles and Tires Elite uses Dexter Rubber Torsion axles with electric brakes and name brand tires. Our trailers are engineered with accurate weights that provide proper axle and tire size based on the total weight of the trailer and it's contents, including living quarters.
• Hinges Elite's proprietary, heavy duty, extruded hinge is used for doors and dividers. This hinge is fitted with a brass fitting that lubricates and allows for a tighter fit with the stainless pin. This hinge is welded to the structure to give us the strongest hinge possible.
• Windows Elite only uses HEHR windows. Available in many sizes and types, you can rest assured that they will be installed, worry free.
• Saddle Racks The Elite built carpeted saddle racks are designed to hold a large variety of today's saddles.
• Wall Rubber The wall rubber on our trailers is corded rubber matting that is able to absorb impacts that would damage lesser made products.
• Carpet Marine grade carpeting is used in the tack room and other applications to assure a long life.
• Top Rail Continuous 5" radius rail with an overall height of 8" and a material thickness of 3/16" with an integrated drip rail.
• Drop Gusset 3/16" thickness, welded one piece gussets which add structure to provide maximum nose strength.
• Drop Wall 3/16" thickness with an engineered break on the top and bottom adds strength and allows for a cleaner weld area to ensure against leakage.
• Flooring Elite's floor structure consists of 4" I beams with an upper 2 1'2" flange and a lower 3" flange on 12" centers. Elite utilizes a .125" thick, 5086 marine grade sheet floor on top of the structure.
• Rear Frame The rear frame is supported by a 2 1/2" x 5" upper header at a 1/4" thickness. For added strength, the rear frame side post is integrated through the floor into the bottom rail.
• Aluminum Side Wall Construction 6005 T6 aluminum alloy posts with 7" posts at the drop wall, 5" x 1 3/8" at doors and dividers, and 1 3/8" x 2 1/2" for all other side wall structure posts. The exterior, 6063 aluminum interlocking extruded slat is .125 thick. Exterior smooth sheets are a 3004 aluminum alloy with a H291 temper and thickness of up to .063".

There are a few key differences between these two large travel trailers though, starting with their sleeping capacity.

As the Vibe 34XL can sleep an extra two, when equipped with its standard convertible dinette booth, bringing the total sleeping capacity to six.

Speaking of sleeping though, one disadvantage of the 34XL is that it only offers a front queen as opposed to a king bed.

In addition, the washer/dryer prep in the 34XL was moved to the bathroom, instead of in the front wardrobe.

And the last big difference between the two trailers is that Forest River opted to reduce the size of the fridge in the 34XL to make room for a small flip-up desk.
