Plan your schedule in advance to get the most out of your day ✅ Fall Preview Day will include a services fair, campus tours and faculty events.
You'll find a detailed schedule of events further down this page. There's lots to pack in, so it's useful to decide which events are important to you in advance. Fall Preview Day runs from 9AM to 2PM on Sunday, November 19, but your schedule is up to you. Just arrive in time for the events you're interested in and leave when you're ready.
Getting to Campus

Getting to a Parking Lot
Parking in campus lots is free of charge on Fall Preview Day. We suggest parking in the lot most convenient for your faculty. You'll find all the lots below on our campus parking map .

Campus Walking Tours | 9AM – 1:30PM
Alumni Hall
One of our knowledgeable guides will take you on a walking tour around the core of campus. Get a feel for what life is really like as a Western student while taking in the campus’ beautiful landscape and buildings. Tours will be departing on the hour and the half hour. Each tour will last approximately 45 minutes.
Campus Bus Tours | 9AM – 2PM
12 Bus Tour Stops Across Campus
If you are interested in seeing our campus from corner to corner, we recommend you join us for a guided campus bus tour. All buses are staffed by one of our knowledgeable tour guides.
Stay on the bus for a complete tour, lasting approximately 45 minutes, or hop on and off the bus at your leisure. If you choose to get off the bus along the route, another bus will be around shortly to pick you up again. Buses can also drop you off near your parking lot at the end of the day.
Residence Tours | 9AM – 2PM
Delaware Hall , Elgin Hall , Essex Hall , Medway-Sydenham Hall , Ontario Hall , Saugeen-Maitland Hall
Guest tours are available in different residences (covering traditional-, suite-, and hybrid-styles). Our students and staff look forward to showing you these housing options and answering any questions you may have.
Express Tours are available at the lower level of Delaware Hall . You'll see model suites that show all residence room styles in one stop.
Western Student Recreation Centre Tours | 9:30AM – 2PM
Lobby, Western Student Recreation Centre
The Western Student Recreation Centre is home to Campus Recreation. Friendly staff are eager to provide you with tours of this amazing facility, with close to 166,500 square feet of space over four floors. Tours will last approximately 20 minutes and will give you a chance to learn about the facilities, programs and services that Campus Recreation operates in the Centre.
Don't have time for a full tour? Stop by the front counter to meet representatives from Mustang Sports and Campus Recreation to ask questions about our teams and programming.
Library Tours | 11AM - 2PM
D. B. Weldon Library
The D.B. Weldon library is located at the center of the campus and forms the heart of student life at the University. It is a focal point across campus offering access to recently modernized facilities, diverse and modular study spaces, accessible services, and world class print and digital collections. We support student study and research by providing training and specialized services to see you succeed in your academic career.
Please join us at the library for guided tours which will be offered every half hour. Independent explorations are also welcome!

WMU was chosen to host the 2024 Michigan Science Olympiad State Tournament on May 4, bringing approximately 1,500-2,000 students who were the top winners from each of Michigan's regional events.
Science and Engineering Camps

The best way to find out if the College of Engineering at NC State is right for you is to register to attend our information sessions that we offer to prospective students and their families. The information sessions consist of a brief overview of the College of Engineering followed by a guided tour of Centennial Campus. University Admissions sessions are also available for both first-year and transfer students. When possible, we recommend signing up for one of our Engineering sessions and a University Admissions session.

We appreciate your interest in Computer Science at NC State! If you have academic questions, please use our Undergraduate Advising Questions form , and ToniAnn Marini, our Assistant Director of Undergraduate Advising, will respond as soon as possible. Interested in an ‘in-person’ tour of Computer Science? CSC Student Ambassadors will be available to conduct ‘in person’ tours for prospective students and their parents/guardians on Fridays during the academic year, immediately prior to the College of Engineering’s Info Sessions on Centennial Campus.
