AllClear Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing travel companies, today announces it will be opening a new site in Cardiff. Already 38 new jobs have been created by AllClear in the city, which will rise to more than 100 in the coming months.

AllClear is the market-leading provider of specialist travel insurance for people with medical conditions. For more than 20 years, AllClear has helped cover more than three million policyholders, with customers across the UK, Ireland and Australia. The business has won many industry awards, with 5 Star Defaqto-rated products and best-in-class service. Last year, AllClear Group acquired InsureandGo from the global insurance company MAPFRE Asistencia. The deal more than doubled the size of AllClear Group as a leading force in the UK travel insurance market and bolstered an already strong proposition that is based on quality, trust, and expertise.

Despite recent disruption at airports, the international travel market is re-opening after two years of pandemic restrictions and AllClear Group has robust plans in place to grow the AllClear and InsureandGo businesses in 2022 and beyond. The new premises in Cardiff will help the business to build on its proven skills in delivering market-leading customer service and technology innovation.

The move to Cardiff has been supported by Cardiff Council, whose team has played a key role in helping AllClear to find office space to make connections with local suppliers and partners.

Cardiff Council’s Cabinet Member for Investment and Development Cllr. Russell Goodway commented: “We are delighted to see AllClear invest in Cardiff, they are part of a growing financial and professional services cluster here in the capital city and we very much hope that they will continue to grow and create many new jobs.”

AllClear establishes new Cardiff office

Travel insurer allclear has announced that it is opening a new office in the welsh capital of cardiff, as it continues its post-pandemic expansion.

The firm, whose headquarters is in Romford, England, will be based at Brunel House near Cardiff Queen Street railway station, and is expected to create host a staff of around a hundred people when fully operational. The office will be the company’s fourth site for its UK operations.

The insurer has reportedly already created 38 new jobs at the office, with the headcount expected to rise over the coming months. Operations at the Cardiff branch will focus on customer service, as well as AllClear’s technology platforms.

The establishment of the new office was reportedly supported by Cardiff Council, whose economic development team helped AllClear make connections with local business partners and find office space.

The company, which specialises in providing specialist travel insurance for people with pre-existing medical conditions, has experienced rapid expansion since its founding in 2000, and now provides coverage to more than three million policyholders in the UK, Ireland, and Australia.

Further demand is expected as global travel returns following the end of border restrictions in many countries. Research by AllClear released in February found that 68 per cent of Britons were planning overseas holidays in 2022.

Very constructive engagement

Very constructive engagement with representative to sort out travel insurance given changes in my medical conditions. Helpful in trying to identify what some questions were driving at unlike a couple of other companies I have spoken to. Came away with a package that should suit our needs for the year though post hoc wondered if there was one element I needed to have committed to.

Took out travel insurance with all clear at a very competitive rate. I dealt with an agent called Gary Parfitt, who was very helpful but not pushy. Always responded very promptly when I wanted to ask a question and was very knowledgeable about my medical requirements. Wil definitely use again

The person I spoke to was pleasant and helpful and answered the questions I put to him. I didn’t have to wait long to have the phone answered though I did seem to have to repeat my medical details rather a lot even though there were no queries about them though I appreciate that that wasn’t the fault of your staff member. I’ve used you for several years and I will almost certainly use you again when I arrange cover for my Australian trip in November. I didn’t buy it now as should I have to cancel the trip in 7 months time for any reason I would lose half the cost of the insurance.

The agent I spoke with was clear, and detailed. After the offer I had to check with my wife that the offer was acceptable with her. The agent was to ring back at 4pm that day to get confirmation that the offer was accepted.I didn’t get a call back and had to call you back next day.
