The moment the group’s iconic “ BLACKPINK in your area” tag and establishing horns blared through speakers, Blinks knew exactly which track the quartet was opening with and buzzed with energy and excitement. The set kicked off with BLACKPINK’s personal statement, “How You Like That,” which saw the group expertly hit the song’s memorable choreography with the help from female backup dancers. The opening track served as BLACKPINK’s formal arrival, and concluded with larger than life stage fireworks — in pink, of course — and streamers as if to say “we’re here.”

The hits didn’t stop there — the first act of the concert catered to fans of their high-energy songs, from The Album ‘s fan favorites “Pretty Savage” and “Lovesick Girls” to equally pumped up performances of “Don’t Know What To Do” from the Kill This Love EP and the group’s sizzling-yet-sparsely produced debut single “Whistle.” BLACKPINK continued to dabble in pyrotechnics during the show’s second and third acts, with more fireworks, and at times, actual fire onstage by the time “Kill This Love” and “Playing With Fire” rolled around in the setlist. Those were later followed by tracks “Pink Venom”, “Shut Down,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Typa Girl.”

Fans of BLACKPINK who have seen the group perform either in person or in video know that the girls divide their concert in half, with the second part featuring individual performances from each member of the group, and last night’s performance at the Prudential Center was no exception.

One of the sweetest highlights of the show was during the encore. After a near-10-minute wait — which saw fans across the area leading “when I say black, you say pink” and “boombayah” chants to rile up the crowd — the girls came back looking cozy in sweatshirts, hoodies and tees from their merch line, and stripped back their larger-than-life stage personas to goof around and make un-choreographed dances and cute faces with each other while singing “Yeah Yeah Yeah.” Before ending the show, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé took a picture with the entire stadium, prompting the Blinks in attendance to wave their lightsticks and throw up K-pop finger hearts for the camera.

BLACKPINK’s Born Pink tour shows that despite being a top performing global act, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé maintain the loving charm that has cemented them such a passionate fanbase. But don’t be fooled by their sweetness — their talent and star power can “shut down” almost any arena the second they decide to turn it on.

A Dream Setlist for BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” World Tour

Our wishlist of songs we'd like to hear when the group hits the road for an enormous world tour

As if news of a long-awaited sophomore album wasn’t enough, BLACKPINK are also set to embark on a massive (and massively hyped) world tour . The “BORN PINK” tour will celebrate the album of the same name, and the new era for BLINKs will officially begin with the release of lead single “PINK VENOM” on August 19th. Finally, BLACKPINK will be back in our area.

BLACKPINK are one of the most successful girl groups in K-pop history — their last tour, the “In Your Area World Tour,” remains the highest-grossing tour by a Korean girl group — and the “BORN PINK” tour is set to raise the bar. Dubbed the “ largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group ,” the trek features dates in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and the tour poster promises more cities yet to be announced.

While  BORN PINK will surely contain some new bops, we’ve started assembling our dream setlist from BLACKPINK’s discography in the meantime. Check it out below.

1. “How You Like That”

It’s simply a bop for the ages. Plus, picture this: the lights finally go down. The lightsticks are glowing. Lisa says, “BLACKPINK in your area,” and then they are . Add in a the beat drop before Jennie kicks off the song and it’s a recipe for a truly killer opener.

2. “Kill This Love”

The title track to BLACKPINK’s 2019 EP is an absolute must at any concert. That marching band intro should quite honestly have Vecna shaking to this day. Manifesting it now — let’s hope BLACKPINK brings along a live band, including a horn section, for this tour.

3. “DDU-DU DDU-DU”

A queen to this day, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” is the fastest song by a K-pop group to reach a billion views on YouTube, and it remains the most-watched music video by a K-pop group on YouTube, sitting at almost 2 billion views (!) as of press time. A song so enormous and critical to BLACKPINK’s global trajectory is due for shine once again; meanwhile, we’ll be revisiting the Coachella performance of the hit.

What Is Blackpink’s Song Setlist For ‘The Born Pink World Tour?’

Blackpink are having a massive year, if that isn’t obvious. Fans had high hopes for their album Born Pink , and let’s just say the group delivered, at least according to the widespread appreciation of the record . Even before the LP came out, their single “ Pink Venom ” had the biggest YouTube premiere of 2022 and the platform’s third biggest ever by hitting a colossal 90.4 million views in the first 24 hours of its release.

So it’s safe to say that their tour for Born Pink is no casual affair. It kicked off at the end of October in Dallas, Texas, and it’ll be going all the way to Europe, ending in Amsterdam in The Netherlands at the end of December. They’ll be bringing a lot of new songs but even some old material as well.

A Leaked Setlist For BLACKPINK’s Upcoming “BORN PINK” Concert Lists Only 13 Songs — Netizens Respond

The setlist for BLACKPINK ‘s upcoming  BORN PINK  concert in Vietnam was leaked—and netizens are confused about the number of songs the girls will be performing.

BLACKPINK’s Vietnam concert will be held at the  My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on July 29 and 30. They will be the first K-Pop girl group to perform in a stadium that can fit over 40,000 people.

On July 4, the official Vietnamese Government Facebook page (or Thông tin Chính phủ ) revealed BLACKPINK’s setlist for their Vietnam concerts. However, fans noticed that there were only thirteen songs in the setlist.

Along with the photos was a caption that confirmed the  Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism ‘s approval to have the BLACKPINK concert in Ha Noi.

Fans found the number of songs unreasonable because of how expensive the tickets are. According to Star News , tickets for the  BORN PINK concert are approximately 10 million Vietnamese dongs, about ₩549,000 KRW (about $421 USD). Fans were also disappointed to see that the members had no solo songs, whereas BLACKPINK performed solos and many more songs in their other concerts.

Some guessed that perhaps these were only the songs that had to be approved. If this was the actual setlist, they thought it unfair to pay the same price to get “half a show.” Another netizen believed the government would have no issues with songs like “On the Ground” and “Gone” and expressed their confusion.

A fan compared the songs from previous BLACKPINK World Tour concerts and pointed out which songs were missing from the Vietnam concert setlist.

Many netizens were confused and skeptical that the setlist would be only thirteen songs. Another user explained why the songs have to be approved.

According to the Facebook post, the  Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism requires music played at the concert to comply with government regulations.

Ltd. to comply with the regulations of the government regarding performance activities, advertising, copyright, and related rights. They must also adhere to the content of the performance program as listed in the itinerary. Additionally, the company is expected to follow the regulations related to maintaining public order, social safety, environment, health, fire prevention, and other relevant conditions as stipulated by the law before and during the artistic performance. — Vietnamese Government Official Facebook Page (Thông tin Chính phủ)

On June 28, the Facebook page announced that the Director of the Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will welcome BLACKPINK when they arrive in Vietnam and that this concert is meaningful because it will “ enhance the culture exchange between the people of the two countries. ”

The two photos of BLACKPINK’s setlist are now removed from the original post, but the caption remains the same.

Despite these issues, fans are still eager to attend BLACKPINK’s concerts—if they can purchase them. There is a massive surge in scalpers trying to sell tickets among fans in Vietnam even though ticket sales for the Vietnam concert have not yet started.

BLACKPINK Announces New ‘Born Pink’ U.S. Tour Dates – Setlist & Ticket Info

BLACKPINK has revealed new tour dates for an encore set of performances in the United States.

Jennie , Jisoo , Lisa and Rosé added four summer shows, including East Rutherford, New Jersey (Aug. 12), Las Vegas (Aug. 18), San Francisco (Aug. 22) and Los Angeles (Aug. 26).

The new dates follow the group’s North American leg of their BORN PINK tour in October and November 2022. Before they return to the U.S. in August, BLACKPINK will travel to cities in Asia, Australia and Europe.

BLACKPINK CONCERT SETLIST

BLACKPINK recently performed at Coachella, becoming the first Korean act to headline the music festival. They debuted in the summer of 2016 with their single album Square One , which featured “Whistle” and “Boombayah,” the group’s first No. 1 on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart and the U.S. Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.

BLACKPINK is the most successful Korean girl group in the U.S. and at an international level. Their second studio album, Born Pink (2022), was the best-selling album of all time by a female act in South Korea.
