So take advantage of the Busan City Tour Bus! The next stop is the UN Memorial Cemetery.

To your left, you will see Busan Jinjiseong Fortress called Jaseongdae. This is where the Busanjinseong’s subordinate fortress was located. It was named “Busanjin” because there used to be a military camp here. It has now become a good resting place for community members. There is Jwacheon-dong Furniture Road here, which is the birthplace of furniture stores in Busan since 1950s. The Furniture Road is also famous for its appearance in the movie, “Friend”. The main characters in that movie were running vigorously on the Furniture Road with their bags in their hands. The next stop is the Busan Museum. The next stop is Gwangalli Beach, Gwangalli Beach.

This is where the Gwangan Bridge begins. Gwangan Bridge has a couple of nicknames like “ocean simni-gil” and “the beautiful road over the ocean”. We will cross the Gwangan Bridge when this bus returns to Busan Station from Haeundae beach. The next stop is Gwangalli beach, Gwangalli beach. Along with Haeundae beach, Gwangalli beach is one of the most renowned beaches in Busan. The clear blue sky, the endless ocean, and the magnificent Gwangan Bridge – all these together make up a gorgeous scenery at Gwangalli beach. It’s like looking at a beautiful landscape painting that has all the features of the ocean, the mountains and the city. In summertime, you can enjoy a variety of water sports like wind surfing and yacht. During the winter, there are many events to be enjoyed at Gwangalli beach like the Suyeong traditional folk festival, which features an exciting folk performance and the moon house burning festival. Of course, Gwangalli beach is beautiful during the day – but the night ocean of Gwangalli beach is so gorgeous and exotic that you will have an unforgettable time here at Gwangalli beach.

In a few seconds, you will see Suyeong Bay Yachting Center. It is the largest yachting center in Korea, enough for about 450 yachts to dock here. There are various ocean leisure sports lessons held at the center throughout the year. The next stop is Nurimaru, Nurimaru. Nurimaru is a beautiful conference center surrounded by the endless ocean and trees. It is an international conference center at which the leaders of 20 countries had a meeting and enjoyed dinner together during the APEC summit. The name “Nurimaru” is made up of two Korean words – “nuri”, meaning the world, and “maru”, meaning summit. The overall shape of Nurimaru is designed after a traditional Korean summerhouse. Feel the footsteps of the global leaders at the Nurimaru APEC house! It will leave you a special memory.

The next stop is Haeundae beach, Haeundae beach. When you get off at Haeundae beach, you will not only be able to enjoy Haeundae beach itself, but will also be able to enjoy the Busan Aquarium and the boat cruise full of events that leaves from the nearby Mipo Ferry Terminal and heads towards Dongbaekseom Island, Igidae, and Oryukdo Islets. In addition, you can also relax and enjoy the Haeundae Hot Spring here. The Busan Aquarium is located at the entrance of Haeundae beach. Enjoy watching the underwater creatures from all over the world with more than 350 species of fish. Haeundae beach is one of the top vacation spots in Korea and very well-known worldwide, with more than 1 million foreign and domestic travellers visiting the beach every summer. Haeundae beach is a dynamic place, always filled with energy and passion. There are also many exciting events like the Sunrise Festival on the New Year’s Day, Sand festival in summer, and Polar Bear Swim in winter. Beautiful ocean and good people. Haeundae awaits you.

The next stop is Haeundae Station, Haeundae Station. Did you have a good time at Haeundae? This bus will now go around Haeundae and cross the Gwangan Bridge, and then take you back to Busan Station. There is a trail called the Moontan Road, located half way up on the slope of Mt. Wau-san, which is east of Haeundae and between Mipo and Chungsapo. The Moontan Road is a scenic trail course where you can enjoy magnificent coastal views and the woods. There are many cafés along the Moontan Road, making it a famous dating spot. Especially, the moonlight ocean viewed from the Moontan Road is absolutely stunning.

The next stop is Shinsegae Department Store and the Busan Cinema Center. The Centum City is a state-of-the-art urban complex, boasting its 1,178,043m² size. The Centum City is located by the Suyeong River in Haeundae-gu, Busan. The Centum City offers you a variety of tourist attractions like the large department stores, BEXCO, a global exhibition and convention center, and the Busan Cinema Center, an official venue of the Busan International Film Festival.

The next stop is Busan Museum of Art. When you get off at this stop, you will be able to take a tour around many attractions, including Busan Museum of Art. In addition to the Museum of Art, there is also the APEC Naru Cemetery, developed on 100,000 m² of land, and consisting of the APEC Memorial Square and the Riverside Cemetery that symbolizes the Pacific Ocean. In this area, you will also be able to take a walk around the Olympic Cemetery, which is also near Busan Museum of Art. Busan is one of Asia’s top 10 convention cities and BEXCO has played a significant role in building this reputation of Busan by leading the convention and exhibition industry in the city. BEXCO, designed by an eminent world-class architect, is renowned for its architectural beauty. This magnificent landmark consists of 3 floors above ground and 1 below. It is built with over 7,600 special glasses, with its overall shape designed after a seagull flying over the Pacific Rim. BEXCO always has a variety of international exhibitions and conventions running throughout the year and there are diverse amounts to choose from. For example, BEXCO hosted ITU Telecom that boosted Korea’s reputation as a leader in the IT industry. Furthermore, the 2005 APEC Summit was also held at BEXCO. At Busan Museum of Art, you will be able to enjoy more than 740 art pieces, including those by the world-class video artist, Nam June Paik. Busan Museum of Art is more than just an exhibition center. It is rather a culture complex that provides comprehensive cultural enjoyment. It offers a variety of cultural events and performances, including the Saturday Live Performance. Bring your friends and family and have a great time together at Busan Museum of Art!

The Gwangan Bridge, a beautiful road over the ocean, offers you a panoramic view of the endless Pacific Ocean and Gwangalli beach. The bridge has been selected as one of top 100 beautiful paths of Korea by the Korea Road & Transportation Association. The bridge officially opened in 2003, after 8 years of construction and a total cost of 790 billion won. The bridge is said to look like a seagull rising to the high sky with Busan’s hopes and dreams. The bridge also hosts various events throughout the year, including marathon. It has become a new iconic landmark of Busan. Depending on the time of the day, the day of the week, and the season, the bridge’s state-of-the-art lighting system displays over 100,000 different colors of spectacular lighting. How to choose the best Busan day tour (2024 guide)

By: Author Sylvia

Posted on Last updated: February 21, 2024

This article provides insight on how to choose your Busan day tour.

Busan can be explored on your own by public transport but many of the sights are not well-connected to the city’s subway network.  They can be reached by bus but it quickly takes an hour or more to reach some of the sights and an additional hour to get back to the city.

All well and good if you have several days to explore this beautiful city but spending hours in coaches is not what we think of when we refer to holiday quality time.

That’s why we would advise to either explore the city with a rental car, it’s easy to drive in the city and outside the rush hours there are no traffic congestions, or to join an organized tour.

Here we share the best Busan tour packages.

We start this post by sharing some interesting Busan city tours that are perfect to discover the highlights of Busan in one day.

We also include 2 private tours .  These tours are perfect for you if you don’t like to join a group tour and you can even customize the tour to your own interests.

Busan is also a city that comes alive after dark. Lots of landmarks are beautifully lit. If you are in for some Instagram-worthy pictures you should definitely take a look at the selection of night tours .

The last set of tours that we cover in this article is day tours from Busan to nearby amazing places . Culture lovers should definitely take a look at the Gyeongju tour from Busan. The Oedo Island Day Tour and the Namhae County day tour are perfect for nature lovers. Thrill-seekers should take a look at the 2-day skiing trip or at the paragliding tour in Busan.

Busan is a fantastic city, there’s something for everyone and these tours will ensure you make the most of your visit to the city.

Eden Valley Ski Resort: 2-day/ 1 night Ski and snowboard tour

If you are in Busan during wintertime and you love skiing or snowboarding this is the perfect package tour for you.

In this trip, round-trip transportation is included as well as your lift pass and a one-night stay at Eden Valley Ski Resort. Ski clothes and ski or snowboard equipment rental are also included on day 1.

You will also be accompanied by an English or Chinese-speaking tour staff.

It’s possible to upgrade your package with a private ski or snowboard class.

  • Great all-inclusive ski package tour
  • English and Chinese speaking staff
  • If your plans might change, you get at 100% refund if you cancel 7 days before the reserved date, 70% refund 5 days before the reserved date, 30% refund 2 days before the reserved date. If you cancel 1 day before the reserved date, you get no refunds. Note that all times are based on Korea Standard Time.
  • Meals aren’t included in this package

This tour is a great winter getaway.  Everything is included, you only need to take care of your own goggles, gloves, and helmet. Public transport to Eden Valley is poor so that makes this tour all the more worthwhile.

The ski area counts 7 slopes.  It is relatively small and the slopes have a low gradient.  Experienced skiers and snowboarders will probably quickly be tired of doing the same runs over and over again.

Despite that, it can be a nice change to hit the slopes for a day. 🙂
