Dream

On a 5 night cruise is there a formal night ”

Ahoy there Janet! Welcome to planDisney!  It's always great to see a fellow Missourian here, so I'm so glad you sailed my way with your questions about special nights on your  5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Miami on the Disney Dream ! I hope you're ready for an amazing adventure! Unfortunately, your sailing is not scheduled to have an official formal night - but I'm here to tell you not to let that stop you and your crew from dressing to the nines! One of the things I love most about Disney Cruise Line is that the Dress Code is meant to let every Guest enjoy their sailing as they see fit! Sometimes that means going "Cruise Casual" every night, and others it's "dress to impress" for formal and semi-formal nights! If you decide to bring along your fanciest attire, I've got three "planDrew-approved" suggestions on where to create your own formal night!

  • I'd suggest wearing it the night you're scheduled to dine in Royal Palace! The theming is a bit more upscale and subdued than at Animator's Palate , and that grand entrance off the atrium is great for photos next to the statue of Admiral Donald!
  • Or you could pretend you're dining in manicured gardens in the French countryside as you head down to Deck 2 and enter Enchanted Garden !
  • If it's the adults in your crew looking to turn dinner into a night on the town, you could make a reservation at Palo or Remy for a nice quiet dinner for two!

But if you decide to leave space in your luggage by leaving your dressy clothes at home, you'll have more room for souvenirs! Whether you and your crew decide to dress up or not, here's to an absolute Dream of a sailing, with fair winds, following seas, and magical memories to last a lifetime! Thank you so much for your question, Janet and I'll SEA you real soon if you come up with any others - I'm just a message in a bottle away!  Until then may your anchor be tight and your compass true!

Disney Cruise Formal Night Ultimate Guide

Want to know what to wear on a Disney Cruise Formal Night?

All you questions about Formal Night on a Disney Cruise are answered here so you know exactly what to expect!

When Is Formal Night on a Disney Cruise?

Disney Cruise Formal Night

There is a lot of confusion amongst first time Disney cruisers about whether or not there is a Formal Night on their sailing.

If we are talking about the formal night with the Captain’s Gala Dinner this only happens on cruises of 7 nights or more. This is the “proper” formal night on a Disney Cruise.

Don’t worry! This doesn’t mean that you can’t dress up for dinner every night if you really want to.

disneywondercruiselobby

What is means is that if you are looking for a true Formal Night, where you can meet the Captain, Disney characters will be in formal wear and that the photographers will all be set up for formal photos, you are only going to get this on the cruises of 7 nights or more.

Here is how the nights will be allocated on your cruise according to how many nights you are sailing.

3-night cruises:

  • One cruise casual night
  • One Pirate Night themed deck party
  • One optional “dress-up night”—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women

On cruise casual nights you are not expect4ed to dress up, but you are not permitted to wear swimwear or tank tops in any of the rotational dining rooms.

The cruise casual rule is partly to help the situation if you haven’t yet got your luggage before you go to dinner. This isn’t very likely as usually you do have your luggage delivered to your stateroom by 4 pm at the latest, but it does happen.

disneywondertritonsrestaurant

4-night cruises:

  • The first night is cruise casual
  • One optional dress-up night—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women
  • The final night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops

7-night cruises:

  • One Pirate Night or other themed deck parties – for instance, it will be Frozen on Alaskan cruises.
  • 3 additional cruise casual nights—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One formal and one semi-formal night—both give you the opportunity to dress up and take advantage of the onboard photographers.
  • Though optional, Disney recommends dress pants with a jacket or a suit for men and dress or pantsuit for women.

On a 7 Night Cruise, Formal Night will usually be on the first full day of sailing. For instance, if your cruise leaves port on a Saturday, the Formal Night will be on a Sunday.

Disney Cruise Captain’s Welcome Reception

One of the great things about Formal Night is that Mickie and Minnie, along with some of the other Disney characters, will be in formal dress.

This is one of my favorite dresses for Minnie Mouse and of course, it is always great to see Mickey in his tux.

disney cruise dress code 5 night

On Disney Cruises of 7 nights or more, there will be a Captain’s Welcome Reception on Formal Night. This is one of the highlights of a Disney Cruise.

This is a great chance to meet the Captain and the Ship’s officers who will be available for a meet and greet in the atrium of your Disney ship.

There will be a cocktail reception in the lobby atrium of your Disney Ship. There are free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. Servers circle around the atrium with a selection of drinks on trays.

There will be two Captain’s Welcome Receptions on Formal Night for your Disney Cruise. This is to fit in with the two dinner seatings for the rotational dining restaurants.

Usually the Captain’s Welcome Reception starts at 5.15 and 7.30. This means you can go to the Reception and still be on time for dinner.

Disney Cruise Formal Night Menu

There is a special Captain’s Gala Night Menu which will be served in each of the rotational dining restaurants on your cruise.

Disney Cruise Captain Gala Menu

There really is so much that is very good about the Captain’s Gala Menu.

This is one of those nights when it is very difficult to choose what to order as there is so much that is really exceptional.

On our last cruise, DH started with the Aged Prosciutto. He said that this measured up really well against the prosciutto that you get on the Palo Dinner Menu.

Disney Captain Gala menu

The Oxtail Soup was also very good. Soups tend not to photograph well as often they have been carried a long way from the kitchen and have moved around quite a bit in the bowl.

Not always great presentation but it is understandable if you are carrying this will so many other dishes! Doesn’t affec the great taste!

Disney Cruise Formal Night Soup

Whatever there is with Shrimp on it on the menu I always order it. The accompanying salad and dressing were really tasty too.

Disney Cruise Captains Menu Appetizer

This Oven Baked Salmon is on the menu of every rotational dining restaurant each day in the Lighter Offerings Section.

Disney Cruise Captains Menu Salmon

The highlight of the Captain’s Gala Dinner on a Disney Cruise is that this s the time that you get lobster on the menu in any of the rotational dining restaurants.

Disney Cruise Formal Night Lobster

This is what happens when you mention to your Server that you really enjoy Lobster! She brought out two for each of us who wanted it. We actually had to stop her from bringing out even more!

Disney Cruise formal night menu lobster

This really is for me one of the highlights of the food on a Disney Cruise. I never have lobster on land so this is a real treat for me.

Disney Cruise Formal Night Lobster

If you enjoy fish, this Roasted Red Snapper dish is also very good.

formal night roasted red snapper

Every menu has some specialty cocktails to go with that specific dinner. You can of course order anything from the bar menu. Or if you have bought the Wine Package you can enjoy that too.

disney cruise captain gala menu drinks

After all of that lobster there was of course still room for dessert!

Captains Gala Dessert Menu

You really do have to order the Chocolate Lava Cake. Never fails to impress. It is very rich but the ice cream balances it out.

The Creme Brulee is another favorite. You can also ask for Gluten Free Madelines.

Cruise Formal Night Dress Ideas

The key really is just to feel comfortable with your choice of what to wear on formal night on a Disney Cruise.

You will see a very great range of different attire on formal night. This will range from people who do not get dressed up at all and those who are wearing full length gowns and tuxedos. The choice really is yours.

Most people will have dressed up to some extent, but the majority is unlikely to be in full evening dress.

Personally I really enjoy the chance to get dressed up. There aren’t that many opportunities to do this often on land, so this is something I look forward to. DH would certainly wear a suit, although not a tuxedo.

This very versatile Mermaid evening cocktail dress (yes you can channel your inner Disney Princess Ariel), is very reasonably priced.

This dress is made of stretchy material so ideal for when you have maybe had one dessert or entree too many!

It is available in lots of different colors including classic black. Sizes available range from Small to XL.

This Long Beaded V-Neck Dress With Cap Sleeves and Waistband reminds me of a beautiful dress that the Duchess of Cambridge wore! This one will certainly make you feel like a Princess on cruise formal night.

This vintage style Tea Dress is also a great style for formal night.

Not quite as dressed up as a full length gown, but this is a dress that you can wear for lots of different occasions. There is even a red polka dot version if you want to pay homage to Minnie Mouse!

Of course it doesn’t have to be a dress for formal night. A pant suit is also a great option.

Cruise Formal Night Photos

One reason why you may want to get dressed up for your Disney Cruise formal night is that this is a great chance to have some photos taken.

You can always take your own photos, but many people like to take advantage of the Disney Cruise Ship photographers. They have many different formal and not-so-formal backgrounds set up to take some great photos.

If you want to know more about the different photography packages and prices you can see our ultimate guide at the Disney Cruise Photography Package

Formal night is a great opportunity to have your photo taken with the Captain. Or maybe even Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey! Whichever one you pick. do budget for some extra time, as the lines can get quite long.

Disney Cruise Formal Night Entertainment

waltdisneytheatredisneycruise

Not only do you get the chance to dress up, meet the Captain, get some great photos and eat some wonderful food, you also have an evening of fabulous entertainment to look forward to.

On formal night the show is different according to which ship you are on.

I think the best show for formal night is on the Disney Wonder . This is probably my favorite Disney Cruise show of all – The Golden Mickey’s.

disneywonderwaltdisneytheatre

It is particularly suitable for formal night as it has an Academy Award style Red Carpet Arrivals show prior to the performance and a Golden Mickey’s After Party after both performances. This carries on the more formal dressing up theme of the evening just that bit longer.

On the Disney Fantasy the show for formal night is usually Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular. On the Disney Magic it is Twice Charmed – An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story.

Formal Night on a Disney Cruise – Final Thoughts

Disney Cruise Formal Night Atrium Lobby

I know that sometimes the concept of a formal night can seem a bit intimidating to some guests. It really shouldn’t. Even if you live the rest of your life in jeans and a Mickey shirt, this doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy formal night.

Disney cruise lines wants everyone to have a good time. You are going to have a great time no matter what you wear. If you want to dress up this is such a great opportunity to do that. If you want to keep it smart but casual you are going to have a great time too.

There is so much going on to entertain you on Formal Night on a Disney Cruise Ship. Meet the Captain, watch a wonderful show, get some great photos and enjoy the wonderful dinner menu.

Dining Dress Codes on Disney Cruise Line

November 9, 2017 by Disney Cruise Mom 3 Comments

One of the more frequent questions I get from readers is about the dress code for the various dining rooms on the ships.  The venues that have dress codes are the 3 main dining rooms, as well as both adult-only dining venues: Palo (on all 4 ships) and Remy (Dream and Fantasy only).

Main Dining Rooms

First, let me explain the main dining rooms for those of you who have not sailed before.  Each ship has 3 of them, and you will dine at a different one each night.  Your specific dining rotation will be printed on your Key to the World card, so you won’t know what it is until you check in at the terminal and get your card.  Your servers will follow you each night, so you will have the same serving team for your entire cruise.

Per DCL, the dress code for the main dining rooms is “cruise casual”, with the only restrictions being swimwear and tank tops.  Now, they don’t say that they are only talking about men for the tank tops, but I am 99.99% sure that this is the case.  I have worn dressy tank tops many times and no one has batted an eyelash.  I really thing they are only talking about men here, although I would recommend that if a woman wants to wear a tank top, it should be a nicer one and not one that is really ratty-looking.

Most cruises also have an optional formal and/or semi-formal night, but DCL does not have a separate dress code for these nights.  Instead, they just “recommend” a “jacket or a suit for men, and dress or pantsuit for women”, but like I said this is entirely optional.  On my past cruises, I typically see people dressing all across the board on formal night, so I recommend just doing what you are comfortable with.  In my opinion, most people are too busy having a good time to really notice what others are wearing!

If you want more information about all of the dining options on DCL, you can read my post about that here .

Palo is the adult-only restaurant on all four ships.  There is an upcharge for it and reservations are required.  It is open for brunch on all sea days (and sometimes in Nassau), and for dinner every night.  You can read more about Palo in my dining post  here , and I have a blog post about Palo brunch here .  Per the DCL website, this is the dress code for Palo:

“So that we may provide an enjoyable and refined dining experience for all Guests, please be advised that tank tops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, shorts, hats, cut-offs, torn clothing, t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics, flip-flops or tennis shoes are not permitted at Palo or Remy. We thank you for your understanding and your cooperation with the following dress requirements.”

For both dinner and brunch:

“Men: dress pants or slacks and collared shirt; jacket is optional.

Women: dress, skirt or pants with a blouse.

Jeans may be worn if in good condition (no holes).”

I have heard they they are strict about this dress code and almost always enforce it.  It is not uncommon for them to turn people away who are in violation, so make sure you are prepared.

Remy is also an adult-only restaurant, and it is only on the Dream and Fantasy (you can read a dinner review here,  a brunch review here , and a dessert experience review here ).  There is also an upcharge for it and reservations are required.  It serves gourmet French fare, and you can read more about it here  on my post about dining options.  Per the DCL website, this is the dress code for Remy:

Great tips! On our recent cruise, we witnessed a man trying to brunch at Palo in shorts and he was turned away.

I was just on the Wonder. We attended Palo for brunch and saw a gal walk n with the latest holey jeans. She was seated.

On the Magic before jeans were allowed in Palo, my husband was given a pair of slacks to change into, so they were very serious about the dress code. His were in perfect condition and paired with a belt and dress shoes. Now, that would be allowed. I will say that my experience with sandals has been similar to your experience with tank tops. I live in a hot climate, so pretty much all my “dress shoes” could be classified as sandals. I’ve never had any issues at Palo or Remy when pairing them with my skirts, dresses, or dress pants.

FAQ: What to Wear on A Disney Cruise

You’ve booked a Disney Cruise Line voyage, yay! One of the first things many guests ask (after “How am I going to pay for this?”) is “What should I wear?” This simple question is a hotly contested topic in some circles. I’m here to talk you through what you need to know.

What should I wear to dinner?

Disney Cruise Line ships each have three main dining rooms (MDRs). You will be assigned to eat at one of the three MDRs every night of your cruise.

The default dress code at the MDRs is “Cruise Casual.”

The MDRs may also have any of several possible other dress suggestions depending on the specifics of your sailing. These might include formal attire, semi-formal attire, pirate attire, tropical attire, Pixar attire, Frozen attire, or Star Wars attire. In the main dining rooms, everything other than cruise casual is simply a suggestion and is completely optional. I repeat EVERYTHING OTHER THAN CRUISE CASUAL IS OPTIONAL.

What does cruise casual mean?

Basically it means regular clothes. In mid-2013, Disney changed its definition of cruise casual to clarify that wearing shorts is OK. The only items now specifically discouraged in the main dining rooms are “swimwear and tank tops.” Jeans are fine. Shorts are fine. Capri pants are fine. Tee shirts are fine. Sandals are fine. Sneakers are fine. Even the “tank top” issue is malleable. Men should probably not wear tank tops, but I’ve worn slacks or skirts with nice sleeveless tops into the MDRs several times with no problem whatsoever. The general gist of the issue is that they don’t want you to wear beach clothing into the main dining rooms. Seriously, wear your regular clothes, minus swimwear, and you’re good to go.

What does formal attire mean?

Formal attire means tuxedos for the men and long gowns for the women.

I have to wear a tux? I didn’t even wear a tux at my wedding. Do I have to rent something just to wear for a few hours on vacation?

If you have a tux and want to wear it, enjoy. But in practice, only a small percentage of guests (particularly the men) will don full formal attire. Remember, I said that formal night is optional. Many guests choose to wear something nicer than “cruise casual” on formal night, but the range of dress is broad. Very broad.

I sailed on the Fantasy last month. Our formal night was Easter Sunday, a holiday on which you might expect a larger than typical portion of the guests to be gussied up. I sat in the lobby atrium for about 45 minutes, specifically paying attention to the clothing choices made by guests. While this wasn’t a scientific study, I can tell you that during my observation time, in which several hundred guests passed my location, I saw exactly three men wearing tuxedos and two men wearing full military dress uniforms (swoon). Perhaps half of the remaining men wore suits with jacket and tie. The rest of the men were fairly evenly split between jacket with no tie, button down shirt with slacks, golf shirt with slacks, button down shirt with shorts, and golf shirt with shorts. A handful wore regular tee shirts and shorts.

That same night, about a quarter of the women were wearing long dresses, about a quarter wore fancy cocktail dresses or pantsuits, about a quarter wore nice skirts or sundresses, and the remainder wore something like slacks or shorts with nice top.

If you want to wear a tux or gown on formal night, knock yourself out, but don’t feel obligated.

What are some good reasons why I would want to dress up on formal night?

For many guests, the primary motivator for formal dress seems to be getting family photos . If you’re having a family reunion or if you’ve never had real professional formal portraits done, the cruise is a decent opportunity to do this. You’re welcome to go back for photos as often as you like and all the shots can be included on one CD for a fixed price.

Other guests simply enjoy formal dress. I’ve heard several comments along the lines of, “I wear jeans all the time at home, the cruise is my one opportunity to dress up. I love every minute of it.”

If you want to dress in full formal attire, but don’t own the right clothing, try consulting Cruiseline Formalwear for a rental.

What are some good reasons not to wear fancy attire on formal night?

There are several good reasons not to dress up on formal night based on money. Some of these are: you don’t want to spend money to buy/rent formalwear; you own formalwear but don’t want to spend money to alter or clean it; you own formalwear but don’t want to spend money to check the bag required to transport it to the ship; you have a vacation budget allocated and you’d rather spend it on excursions or a nicer stateroom than on fussy clothing.

However, the very best reason not to dress up on formal night is that you don’t want to. Maybe you’re not a tux kind of guy. Maybe you wear suits all day for work and you look forward to the one time of year when you don’t have to dress up. Maybe you just think the entire thing is silly and pretentious.

Again, the dress in the main dining rooms is a suggestion, not a requirement.

What does semi-formal mean?

I’ve never seen an official definition of this anywhere. In my personal observation, most people interpret semi-formal to mean formal, but without the tux or long gown in the mix. For men, this often means a standard suit, with or without a tie. For women, this typically means a cocktail dress of approximately knee length. But as with formal night, you’ll see broad interpretation of style represented.

Will I feel silly if I’m not wearing formal or semi-formal attire in the main dining rooms? Will people judge me if I’m not wearing formal or semi-formal attire in the main dining rooms?

You do you. And if someone wants to judge, that’s their business, not yours.

Honestly, I’ve read some scorchingly mean posts on other forums — people looking down their nose at other guests whose attire is deemed not up to snuff in their “expert” estimation. My advice is to avoid online forums on this topic.

OK, I get that, but I still might feel weird wearing shorts in the main dining room when others are wearing suits.

If you wish, you can opt out of your MDR assignment and eat elsewhere any night or nights that you choose. You’re welcome to dine at Cabanas or have room service on any night. This will allow you to bypass all the dress-up hoopla in the main dining rooms.

But if you want to eat in the main dining room and wear shorts on formal night, go for it. It’s your cruise. You paid for it. Order everything on the menu and don’t give it a second thought.

Are the main dining room rules any different for children?

Nope. Formal night, semi-formal night, and theme nights theoretically apply to anyone on the ship. You will sometimes see seven year old boys wearing tiny tuxedos. This is NOT, I repeat NOT, a requirement, nor is it the norm. Many young boys will be wearing pants and a button down shirt on formal and semi-formal night. Or if the parents are tired, maybe they’re wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Choose your battles.

What’s the scoop with princess gowns ?

Just like in the parks, there is never a requirement that a young girl wear any sort of princess attire ever. That being said, a sizable subset of girls under the age of ten do end up wearing some form of princess dress while cruising. This might be for a princess photo session or for dinner on formal night. If it’s not your daughter’s thing, that’s completely fine. If you do decide to have your daughter wear princess attire, you can buy dresses on the ship or bring them from home. In my opinion, some of the most charming princess attire is homemade.

What do I need to know about theme nights?

The most common theme night on Disney ships is pirate night . This happens on almost all DCL sailings in the Caribbean and Bahamas, as well as some other destinations. Disney will give every guest a pirate themed bandana to wear on pirate night. The on board shops will sell full pirate costumes for children as well as faux hook hands, eye patches, and other related accoutrements. As with formal and semi-formal night, how you decide to dress is up to you. A sizable minority of guests wear full pirate attire with custom designed clothing and boots. Another sizable minority wears just their regular clothing, with no nod to the pirate festivities going on around them. The middle group is the largest, with guests making a minor nod to the theme of the evening such as more dramatic makeup, skull-themed jewelry, or some Disneybound piratewear.

Pixar nights happen on most seven-night Alaska cruises. In my experience, far fewer guests make an attempt to dress thematically on Pixar night than they do on pirate night.

Star Wars and Frozen themed nights will debut in the coming year. Given the popularity of these franchises, my educated guess is that somewhat more than half of the guests on board will make at least some attempt to dress according to theme, but that means that many guests will also be dressed in normal clothing as well.

If you like dressing up on Halloween, you’ll probably like dressing up for cruise theme nights. If you don’t, then no worries. It’s your vacation, spend it as you wish.

How will I know whether I have a formal, semi-formal, or themed night on my cruise?

To find out exactly what will be happening on your sailing, call Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532. However, there are some guidelines:

  • Three night cruises typically have: one standard cruise casual night, one pirate night, one semi-formal night
  • Four night cruises typically have: two standard cruise casual nights, one pirate night, one semi-formal night
  • Seven night cruises typically have: four standard cruise casual nights, one theme night (pirate or other depending on destination), one semi-formal night, one formal night.
  • Cruises of longer than seven nights typically include more cruise casual dinners.

Are there times when the dress code is a real rule, not just a suggestion?

Yes. While the dress code in the three main rotational dining rooms is optional, the dress code in the adults-only restaurants, Remy and Palo, is a requirement. The requirement is enforced. I’ve never seen anyone turned away from the main dining rooms for dress code violations. I have seen guests asked to leave Palo when they’ve arrived wearing inappropriate attire.

What is the dress code at Palo?

There is a Palo restaurant on all four Disney ships. The DCL website states that the dress code is:

  • Men: Dress pants and dress shirt (a jacket is optional)
  • Women: Dress or pantsuit
  • No jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes

The policing of the dress code is basically left up to the staff on site at the time of your visit. In my observation, the dress code is more lightly enforced at brunch than it is at dinner. I’ve seen men wearing golf shirts and slacks at brunch. I’ve also seen women wearing silk capris with kitten heels and a nice top be fine at Palo. The guests I have seen turned away were wearing blue jeans and yoga pants.

What is the dress code at Remy?

The Dream and the Fantasy have Remy restaurants on board. The DCL website states that the dress code is:

  • Men: Dress pants with jacket (sports or suit jacket) is required—ties are optional.
  • Women: A dress, cocktail dress, pantsuit or skirt/blouse is required

You really do have to dress up here. Men not wearing jackets will be turned away.

Dining at Palo and Remy is strictly optional (though very worthwhile, in my opinion). If you don’t want bring/wear fancy attire, then don’t plan a meal at these restaurants.

What do I wear during the day on my cruise?

This depends a bit on where you’re going and what you’ll be doing. The answer will be different if you’re an indoor person headed to Alaska than if you’re an outdoor person headed to Nassau.

If you’re going to a tropical destination in the Bahamas or Caribbean, you’ll find that most guests wear very casual clothing during the day. This may be a swimsuit (with or without a cover-up) by the pool, exercise gear, or shorts and a tee shirt. I’m not much of a pool person (I prefer to spend my days onboard at Bingo, trivia contests, and mixology classes), but I still bring a swimsuit for some spa treatments. There is virtually no need for anything other than the most casual clothing during the day on the ship.

What do I wear at Castaway Cay?

Castaway Cay is VERY casual. The most important thing to wear there is sunscreen. Seriously. Other than that, you need swimwear, if you plan to go in the water. You’ll probably want some sort of cover-up or shorts to throw on over your swimsuit if you plan on doing activities such as biking. If you’re running the Castaway Cay 5K, you’ll need running shoes. Those who burn easily will want a hat. Almost all guests will want to have some sort of water shoe or sandal; the pavement can get quite hot.

I’m heading to Alaska on my cruise. Any tips?

You’ll want to check the weather forecasts before you go. The temperatures in early June can be very different than in mid-August. However, in general you are going to want warm clothing.

During my own August Alaska cruise, I wore jeans and sweaters indoors around the ship.

On the Tracy Arm glacier observation day, I wore jeans, a long-sleeve tee shirt, a mid-weight sweater, hiking boots, a mid-weight down parka, and gloves. I was fine when I was in the sun, but when I sat on the deck in the shade, I was chilly. This is also what I wore for dogsledding on Mendenhall glacier .

In Ketchikan and Skagway, I swapped the parka for a lightweight waterproof windbreaker. Expect rain in Ketchikan and be pleasantly surprised if you don’t get poured on.

Swimsuits are less of an imperative on Alaska sailings than they might be on other itineraries. On my Alaskan DCL cruise, there were many children in the pools on our embarkation day in Vancouver. After that, I saw just a handful of guests using the hot tubs on deck and very few people using the larger pools. If you’re not a hot tub or spa person, it might be possible to leave your swimwear at home for this trip.

What should I wear for a Mediterranean cruise?

This really depends on what you’ll be doing during your trip. When you’re on the ship, the clothing on a European sailing is similar to that of any other DCL voyage, quite casual other than the formal and semi-formal nights when many guests do take it up a notch.

If you’re going to the beach or hiking in Mediterranean area, wear what you’d wear to go to the beach or hiking anywhere else. In Mediterranean port cities, you’ll find that Europeans dress with a bit more polish than Americans. During my DCL Med trip, our stops included Monaco and Rome, where even casual is stylish. We rarely saw non-tourists wearing sneakers or athletic clothing, which might be typical of American dress. You can choose to wear very casual items, but if you don’t want to be immediately seen as a tourist, leave your sneakers, backpacks, and logo tee shirts on the ship. Of course, if you’re in a large guided group, it’s probably pretty obvious you’re not a native anyway, but if you want to spend time on your own and you want to blend in, think simple, light clothing without obvious labels.

Be aware that there are dress codes in most European houses of worship. If you’re visiting a church or cathedral, be prepared to have your shoulders and knees covered at all times while you’re inside. On the day we visited Rome it was 105 degrees. My daughters and I wore sundresses for most of our touring; very light and moderately fashionable. When we were about to enter a church, we quickly slipped on leggings and threw scarves over our shoulders, which we removed immediately once we were back outside in the heat. The casino at Monaco has a strict business attire dress code in some playing rooms. Please check your excursion requirements before packing.

Most DCL European destinations have stops in ports with lots of cobblestone streets or other uneven pavement. You’re likely to be uncomfortable wearing flip-flops or other non-supportive shoes.

What about Northern Europe?

Depending on your exact sailing, the required clothing will be a hybrid of the Alaska and Mediterranean recommendations. If you’re on an excursion to the Arctic Circle, dress in warm layers. If you’re touring a metropolitan city like Stockholm and want to blend in with the locals, step up your fashion game a bit.

Any other types of clothing I might want to bring?

On most cruises of seven nights or longer, there is the opportunity for guests to participate in a family friendly talent show. If you’d like to take part in this, be sure to bring any special costumes or shoes that you might need.

Any more advice?

Be aware of your own personal idiosyncrasies. For example, if you typically get chilly in air-conditioning, bring a wrap or light sweater to wear in the theaters and dining rooms. If you’re not 100% steady on heels, perhaps save them to wear at a time when you’re not on a moving vessel. If you have sensitive eyes, sunglasses are a must for the tropics and Alaska.

Be sure to consult the guidelines of any excursions you’ve selected. For example, zipline excursions often require that you wear closed-toe shoes. Make sure you bring any required items.

If you’re trying to pack light, feel free to repeat outfits. For many guests on tropical sailings, the only time they change out of their swimsuit is to go to dinner. If you’re just wearing your golf shirt and slacks for an hour to eat, there’s no real reason you can’t wear the same thing on multiple nights.

Also, remember that there are onboard laundry facilities. Each ship has several guest accessible laundry rooms with washers, dryers, and irons. The cost is about $2.00 for each wash and dry. There is also a full drycleaning service onboard, with a turnaround time of less than 24 hours. Drycleaning a two-piece suit currently costs $7.00. Pressing-only is half that rate.

9 thoughts on “ FAQ: What to Wear on A Disney Cruise ”

What sort of Dress Code(s) do they have for the pool / pool area ? I’ve heard all kinds of different things…

As far as I know, there is no specific dress code for the pools (other than swim diapers must be worn by small children. I’ve seen a huge variety of swimwear worn on deck and at Castaway Cay. My impression is that as long as the swimsuit covers the bits it’s supposed to cover, then anything goes. Swimwear in not allowed in the dining rooms and some other areas of the ship.

I definitely don’t waste any time judging others for what they wear on their vacation, but I do feel more comfortable if I feel I’m dressing in the expected range. For daywear on our Alaska cruise, I felt totally comfortable in just the nicer (and warmer) end of my everyday clothes: jeans, capirs, t-shirts, cardigans and jackets. For the evening, I would have felt a bit out of place if I hadn’t stepped it up just a bit, though my formal night dress was just a black cocktail dress. I actually would have felt out of place going more formal than that. Our guys did suits with ties for formal night, and suits without ties for semi-formal night and brunch at Palo. The other nights were shirts with collars and pants that weren’t jeans. Our 5 year olds dressed way fancy for formal night (what little girl wouldn’t?) and the rest of the time we just tried to start the night in clothes without obvious food stains.

Love the advice on not reading nasty comments on other forums about dress code “violations.” I tend to dress pretty average for whatever night, but never understood why some people get so worked up about what others are wearing.

Most cruise lines have a tux and formal ware rental place available on board..or at least delivered to your room.

Does Disney have this service.

As noted in the article, you can rent formalwear for use on the cruise at http://www.cruiselineformal.com/

One thing regarding the Remy dress code: yes, a jacket is required, but if you don’t have one, they will loan you one for the evening. My brother, who is a very large guy (300 pounds), wanted to go but didn’t have a jacket. They loaned him one for the evening and it worked out great. I would check with the Remy staff in advance, but don’t let the lack of a jacket keep you from experiencing a truly wonderful meal.

Last month, I went on my first Disney cruise…4 days to the Bahamas on the Wonder. Daytime clothing was shorts and a top. Castaway was a swimsuit and cover up. Dinners were jeans and a nice knit top. And Palo (SO worth it!) was a nice pair of slacks, a blouse and some jewelry. I took an over-the-door pocket/storage organizer that we never used. There are enough small shelves and counter space in the bathroom. A sweater was useful, especially in the cold theater, but it was never cold enough outside for the sweatshirt I brought. There were many dresser drawers and a closet in our room (9B category). I still brought too much, which only resulted in more to keep organized. I’ll pack lighter next time!

Great post. Pack your bag and before you zip it up, remove half!

Disney Cruise Line’s Dress Code

Palo Steakhouse Disney Wish

A common question about taking a Disney Cruise is whether there is a dress code. Luckily, Disney has a very relaxed dress code. If you love to dress up, you certainly can and will not look out of place. If you want to dress more casually on vacation, you can do that, too.

Disney Fantasy Remy

Main Dining Rooms

The main dining locations are “cruise casual,” so casual attire, such as shorts and T-shirts, is permitted. However, swimwear and tank tops are not allowed. Special theme nights on most cruises provide opportunities to dress up for a one-of-a-kind family photo.

3-night cruises:

  • One cruise casual night—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One pirate night -themed deck party
  • One optional “dress-up night”—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women

4-night cruises:

  • The first night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One pirate night-themed deck party
  • One optional dress-up night—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women
  • The final night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops

7-night cruises:

  • The first night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops.
  • One pirate night or another themed deck party . ( Freezing the Night Away with Elsa )
  • Three additional cruise casual nights—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One formal and one semi-formal night allows you to dress up and take advantage of the  onboard photography services . Though optional, we recommend dress pants with a jacket or a suit for men and dress or pantsuit for women.

Adult Restaurants

Dinsey Cruises ships have adult-only restaurants for guests 18+. These restaurants are an additional charge and require reservations.

These restaurants are elegant dining experiences , and guests are requested to dress in a manner consistent with the restaurant’s atmosphere. Disney recommends formal or semi-formal attire when dining in these restaurants.

.However, in recent years, they have relaxed the dress code and now permit dress-casual attire with a polished look, such as dress pants, jeans in good condition , collared shirts, dressy tops and lifestyle shoes . As of early 2024, dress shorts are acceptable for brunch at Palo and Palo Steakhouse . Clothing such as T-shirts, swimwear and sports attire are not permitted. Adults-only restaurants throughout the Disney Cruise.

Disney Cruise Formal Night – What to Wear

' src=

A Disney Cruise involves lots of planning – even more so than going to Walt Disney World. You need to know what to pack for your Disney Cruise, what to do first and what to wear. Let’s discuss the basics of the Disney Cruise Formal Night and get you prepared with all you need to know.

First, not all Disney Cruises offer a formal night.

Only cruises of 7 or more days have a stated formal night.

Three and four-day cruises have what they call an optional dress-up night. Here, it’s mostly referred to as semi-formal, but if you have an evening gown and want to dress up, by all means, go for it.

Little girl in red dress standing in front of a large bronze statue of Minnie Mouse in front of a winding staircase decorated with greenery and holiday decorations

What to wear on a Disney Cruise formal night

Don’t think that everyone dresses to the nines on a formal night because that just doesn’t happen.

They are not going to kick you out of the dining room because you don’t have an evening gown on.

Disney describes formal wear as dress pants and a jacket for men and a dress or pantsuit for women.

So, what do most people wear?

Honestly, it’s up to you. There will be those in sequined gowns and others in jeans. Do what you want or what makes you comfortable.

If you have a nice dress from a wedding, bring that. I wouldn’t stress about it. Just go with what’s right for your family.

I decided to buy a new long dress for the occasion. Truthfully, I can’t remember the last time I wore a gown like that. Maybe 20 years ago for a holiday party?

I didn’t spend much – my goal was to keep it under $100 and I found a beautiful black gown at Macy’s on sale for $77. Of course, I had to dig around for my Spanx that I probably also haven’t had on for 20 years!

My husband wore dress pants with a jacket and tie while Little K had a cute red dress that I thought would pop in pictures.

Little girl in red dress standing in front of a life sized gingerbread house with white icing, greenery and a white picket fence

Formal night pictures on a Disney Cruise

Disney Cruise formal nights not only give you a chance to dress up but also to have your picture taken from a Disney photographer.

On our Disney Christmas Cruise, photographers were set up in the atrium at both the large Christmas tree and also in front of the winding staircase (which was closed off at the top so no one could walk on it).

I used this opportunity to have a family picture taken by the Christmas tree, although I would have loved to have the picture taken by the staircase. I just didn’t want to wait in both lines.

We rarely dress up to this extent. In fact, I can’t remember the last time we did. So, I made sure we got a picture of it.

Disney characters in formal wear

It’s not just passengers that dress up for the formal night. Disney characters, along with your wait staff, are decked out too.

Have your picture taken with Captain Mickey in his bow tie as we did. Honestly, this is one of my favorite pictures from the entire cruise. To me, it just embodies everything about a holiday cruise with all my favorite characters.

Man in dark pants and sport coat with yellow tie, little girl in red dress, woman in long black dress standing around Mickey Mouse dressed as a ship captain in front of a gold railing

Many of the other characters are also around dressed in their formal wear. Chip ‘n Dale are my all-time favs (they actually sit next to me at my computer), so we needed to get pictures with them.

Remember to check the Navigator to see when and where you want to go for pictures if you do at all.

My only disappointment is the lighting where many of the characters have a meet and greets. On our ship, the Fantasy, it’s by the shopping area and there is an orangish glow to all my pictures there. I definitely prefer it when they are in the Atrium because those pictures are beautiful, clear and crisp.

Meet your crew

Also in the Atrium on our Disney Cruise Formal Night was the entire crew. Ok, well most of them. Hopefully, someone was steering the ship. Ever want to meet anyone that guides our ship? Now is the time!

Dressed in their formal cruise attire, they happily chatted with us and posed for pictures.

Disney Cruise Formal Night observations

This was one of my favorite nights on the cruise. Many people are dressed in fancy attire and everything from the dining rooms to the characters looked extra magical.

However, don’t worry if you don’t want to dress up. Plenty of people came to dinner dressed in cruise casual. You will not feel out of place.

How to Dress for Comfort and Style On A Disney Cruise

By Michelle | Updated on December 26, 2023

disney cruise dress code 5 night

Going on a Disney cruise with Disney Cruise Line, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, is many people’s dream vacation. You can immerse yourself in the magic of Disney, enjoy world-class entertainment, and even choose the type of Disney cruise you prefer and how long you want to travel. No wonder thousands of people book vacations with Disney Cruise Line every year.

However, if you’re experiencing the wonderful world of Disney for the first time, it’s only natural not to know what to expect or even how to dress. We’ve provided some helpful cruise fashion tips below to help you maximize your onboard experience:

Know the Dress Code

Knowing the dress code before a Disney Cruise can help you plan your shopping budget and buy everything you need before setting off. The cruise line’s dress code can vary from one dining location to the next, but most are described as ‘cruise casual.’ This means you can wear casual garments like shorts and T-shirts but can’t wear tank tops and bathing suits . On dress-up nights, you may choose to wear more formal attire like pantsuits or dresses for women and suit jackets for men.

Prepare for Themed Nights

It doesn’t matter which Disney cruise ship you’re on, you’ll likely encounter at least one themed night. On these nights, you’re encouraged to dress up in the theme of a pirate for the ever-popular deck parties. As most people don’t typically own Disney pirate-themed garments , reading your cruise itinerary in advance to know what you’ll need to bring can be a good idea. That way, you can be thoroughly prepared for all the fun of a dress-up evening!

Bring Clothing for Shore Excursions

You might pack your suitcase with garments for lounging around and relaxing, but don’t forget to pack a few sets of clothing suitable for shore excursions. Depending on which cruise vacation you choose, you might enjoy port adventures on Castaway Cay, Disney’s very own private island in the Bahamas, or even Atlantis Bahamas, a Bahamas vacation resort on Atlantis Paradise Island.

Depending on the types of off-ship activities you choose for your port days, you might go snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, or even running in the 5K road race – and you’ll need clothing to suit. Just don’t forget to bring extra money for shore excursions, since oftentimes food and alcoholic drinks aren’t included in the package price.

Pack Comfortable Footwear

While a beautiful set of dress shoes can make you feel at your best for a formal evening, such shoes wouldn’t be practical for everyday wear aboard your cruise ship. Pack a range of footwear to suit all activities and occasions, such as sandals and flip-flops for pool visits, and slip-on or tie-up shoes for navigating the ship and partaking in activities.

Disney recommends wearing ‘lifestyle’ shoes for adults-only restaurants and sandals or sneakers for Port Adventures. However, boots or rubber-soled shoes are encouraged if your Disney Cruise takes you around Alaska and Canada.

Dressing for comfort and style on a Disney cruise doesn’t have to be complicated. Pay attention to your itinerary, read Disney Cruise Lines’ dress code, and set aside funds for shopping. You can then be fully prepared for your upcoming Disney adventure in no time.

Disney Cruise Line Dress Code Policy: What’s Changed?

by Natasha Szostak | Jun 15, 2022 | Disney Cruise Line , Disney Cruise Line News , Disney Dream , Disney Fantasy , Disney Magic , Disney Wish , Disney Wonder

Disney Cruises are known for their refined and elegant dining experiences. So these recent changes to the Disney Cruise Line dress code policy may surprise you.

If you’ve booked a cruise on the new Disney Wish , you’ll definitely want to take advantage of the ship’s adults-only dining options. As gorgeous as those staterooms are , you may be in the mood for a night out at one of the ship’s Beauty and the Beast -inspired restaurants.

If you’re 18 years of age or older, here’s what you need to know about changes to the Disney Cruise Line dress code policy for adults.

Disney Cruise Line Dress Code Policy Changes

Palo is a great formal option aboard the Disney Dream. Photo courtesy of Disney Parks Blog

As of June 10, Disney Cruise Line’s dress code policy for adult-exclusive dining experiences is more relaxed than it’s ever been.

So what’s changed for guests 18 years of age and older? Let’s take a look:

“Adult-exclusive restaurants aboard Disney Cruise Line ships are elegant dining experiences. Guests are requested to dress in a manner consistent with the restaurant’s sophistication. Formal or semi-formal attire is recommended. Dress casual attire with a polished look is permitted (such as dress pants, jeans in good condition, collared shirts and blouses and lifestyle shoes). Clothing such as T-shirts, swimwear and sports attire is not permitted.” ( source )

That means that your next dining experience at an adults-exclusive restaurant like Palo or Remy will be quite a lot less formal than you remember.

Taking a look at Palo’s dress code in particular, we see the following recommendations:

  • Men: dress pants or slacks and collared shirt; jacket is optional
  • Women: dress, skirt or pants with a blouse
  • Jeans may be worn if in good condition (no holes)

While the Disney Cruise Line adult dress code policy has been relaxed, some things will remain the same. “Tank tops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, shorts, hats, cut-offs, torn clothing, T-shirts with offensive language or graphics, flip-flops and tennis shoes” will not be permitted, according to the official Disney Cruise Line website .

Which Adults-Exclusive Restaurants Are Impacted?

These changes apply to all Disney sailings including the newest ship in the fleet, the Disney Wish. This means that the rules that previously applied to the high-end and elegant northern Italian-inspired restaurant, Palo, now go for the adults-only restaurants on all five Disney cruise ships.

You can expect to see the updated dress code enforced at:

  • Enchanté (Disney Wish)
  • Meridian Lounge (Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy)
  • Palo (all five ships)
  • Remy (Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy)
  • The Rose (Disney Wish)

Your Turn: What Do You Think Of These Changes?

How do you feel about the changes to the Disney Cruise Line dress code policy? Are you happy about the relaxed rules or will you still be dressing to the nines? Sound off on our Facebook page.

Disney Cruise Line Dress Code

By Lisa Gilmore 1 Comment

It’s cruisin’ time!

disney cruise dress code 5 night

Disney Magic

There are SO many things to consider and learn . Where do you want to cruise? Which ship should you choose? What about excursions or on-ship entertainment? What should you pack? It’s a lot!

But not to worry, we’re going to take one of those planning anxieties off of your plate. When it comes to deciding what you need to wear on your Disney cruise and, therefore, what you need to pack, we’ve broken down the Disney Cruise Line dress code for you.

Cruises, at least those that visit tropical locations , are ships filled with folks clad in shorts, flip-flops, sundresses, and bathing suits. If you’re hitting the northern European or Alaskan ports , then you’ll want something warmer, sweaters, jeans, and scarves.

disney cruise dress code 5 night

Mickey and Minnie in Alaska

Most places aboard the ships will permit any attire. But of course, you should be aware that this isn’t a private cruise, so make sure you’re wearing proper clothes and shoes in public areas. And be courteous to the ship’s Cast Members and amenities, and make sure when you come in from the pool, you don’t plop down on the upholstered furniture in a soaked bathing suit. That would leave quite an unpleasant sensation for the next person to sit there and find themselves sitting on a soggy chair cushion, still wet from the previous person’s bathing suit.

The spots where you’ll find specific dress code perimeters are in regard to the dining locations .

In general, most onboard dining locations are “cruise casual,” so casual attire, such as shorts and T-shirts, is permitted, with the exception of swimwear and tank tops. Most cruises have special theme nights that provide opportunities to dress up for a one-of-a-kind family photo. Here’s a breakdown of special dress events by cruise itinerary:

3-night cruises

  • One cruise casual night—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One pirate night-themed deck party
  • One optional “dress-up night”—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women

Don’t forget your swashbuckling garb!

4-night cruises

  • The first night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One optional dress-up night—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women
  • The final night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops

7-night cruises

  • One pirate night or another themed deck party (like Marvel , Star Wars, Pixar , or holidays for those themed cruises)
  • 3 additional cruise casual nights—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One formal and one semi-formal night—both give you the opportunity to dress up and take advantage of the onboard photography services. Though optional, dress pants with a jacket or a suit for men, and dress or pantsuit for women are recommended.

Dress Codes for Adults-Only Restaurants for Guests 18 and Older

Adult-exclusive restaurants aboard Disney Cruise Line ships are elegant dining experiences. Guests are requested to dress in a manner consistent with the restaurant’s atmosphere. Formal or semi-formal attire is recommended. Dress casual attire with a polished look is permitted (such as dress pants, jeans in good condition, collared shirts and blouses, and lifestyle shoes). Clothing such as T-shirts, swimwear, and sports attire is not permitted. Adults-only restaurants throughout the Disney Cruise Line fleet include:

For formal night aka dress-up night, the typical attire is a jacket for men and a pantsuit or dress for women.

Most Disney cruises do have an optional formal night. Your itinerary should tell you if you do and how many you have. You can always contact Disney Cruise Line if you cannot find that information though.

You can plan outfits for swimming, formal nights, dinners, and hanging out on the deck.

Disney Dream 5 night - dinner dress?

Hi - We are traveling on the Disney Dream for the first time on April 5th. It is a 5 night cruise over Easter (Thurs-Tues), CC double dip, day 4 (Easter Sunday) in Nassau. From what I can tell, Pirate night will be Sunday, our day at Nassau. I was wondering what dress for dinner is like the other nights? If I understand correctly, there is no formal night on a 5 nighter? Is there a semi-formal night? Or what level of "dress-up" should we expect. I am starting to think about what types of clothes we need to take for evenings onboard. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I am interested in this also. We are first time cruisers on the March 4th 5 night and my daughters are 10 and 8 and want to wear their "fancy" dresses to dinner on the ship. I assumed there would be a formal night?!

I was just noticing that we are on the New Years cruise and New Years Eve is Pirate Night, We have done this cruise before on the Magic and that was our formal night which was wonderful, I'm not too sure about dressing up for Pirate Night for New Years! Does anyone know anything different?

hmansure said: There are plenty of threads here where this is debated. For us - we followed the "dress code" - no jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, etc at dinner. On semi-formal night we had jackets and ties (even for my boys) and DW wore a nice dress. Click to expand...
On the other hand, our tablemates wore t-shirts, shorts, jeans, & sneakers every night including semi-formal night (they were the exception from what I recall seeing though). Click to expand...

We did a 5 night last May, and if I recall correctly, I read that the double dips are typically more casual because of the number of beach days. I believe we were cruise casual 3 nights, pirate night, and instead of formal or semi-formal, we had an optional "dress up" night. Happy sailing!

Hi Kim Just noticed your dates! You get off then we get on! How exciting it's getting close. Linda

We did a 5 night Dream cruise last June and it was much more casual than our 7 day Magic cruise we had taken. Our first cruise I stressed so much over dinner attire. Our 5 day I really paid attention to what people were wearing and I have to say it was an all out mix. I don't think I saw anyone that looked inappropriate but most nights there were a lot of shorts(worn by all), jeans(worn by all), capris, sun dresses, khakis. Semi-formal night people were a dressed up a bit more. Wear what you feel comfortable wearing. If you like to dress up then do it. If you are more on the casual side that is fine too. Have a great time. The Dream is just beautiful! Is your cruise a double dip to CC? Hope so, it was so nice to have 2 days there.

Do Disney Cruise Line Restaurants Have a Dress Code?

disney cruise dress code 5 night

Disney Cruise Line has a “cruise casual” dress code for most onboard dining locations. As part of the “cruise casual” policy, they ask that you do not wear tank tops or swimwear into the dining rooms. Shorts and jeans are allowed.

Pirate Night is a popular event on the Disney Cruise ships . Guests can feast on a pirate-themed dinner followed by a “Pirates IN the Caribbean” show, deck party, and fireworks. Guests are welcome and encouraged to wear pirate attire – each guest receives a pirate bandana in their stateroom that they can tie on if they’d like to, but many guests bring full pirate costumes. There will be some pirate-ish items available for sale in the ship’s onboard shops. In the main dining rooms, servers will be dressed for the occasion.

disney cruise dress code 5 night

Most cruises have special theme nights that provide opportunities to dress up for a one-of-a-kind family photo. Here’s a breakdown of special dress events by cruise itinerary:

3-night cruises:

  • One pirate night themed deck party
  • One optional “dress-up night”—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women

4-night cruises:

  • First night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One optional dress-up night—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women
  • Final night is cruise casual—no swimwear or tank tops

7-night cruises:

  • One pirate night or other themed deck party
  • 3 additional cruise casual nights—no swimwear or tank tops
  • One formal and one semi-formal night gives guests the opportunity to dress up and take advantage of the  onboard photography services . Though optional, DCL recommends dress pants with a jacket or a suit for men, and dress or pantsuit for women
