Headlight Upgrade Guidance!

I bought them from Ebay - I don't remember the exact company, but if you do a search for the '04 style lighting, you should get returns. They are a direct plug in because the housing are same shape and mounting placement is the same. I am using Sylvania Silver Star Ultras as my bulbs. I like the output I get. There are other bulbs out there also.  

I did the 05-06 upgrade the trimming is in the fiberglass behind the headlights. If you have a Dremel it is real easy. Can't really tell that you cut the fiberglass if you take your time. You can also go to the parts house and buy some touch up paint and touch up what you cut and the only people who will know are people who can tell what engine you have by the sound.  

I was browsing around on 1A Auto, and they seem to have a nice set of headlights, which are obviously the newer style, for a good price...was hoping to find something with a little more flare, but that is definitely my plan B. Hoping to hear more from you guys!

Yeah, their prices are pretty good!!! If no one else tosses in any ideas, I may just stick with that, as trying to get a solid answer on HID's or any other headlight assembly is pretty difficult. I read for almost 4 hours yesterday and I can say my brain almost caved in  

I am in the same boat as you- want new lights without modification. Think I am going w this setup from Anzo. Halogen Headlight Driver & Passenger Set With Clear Lens And Black Housing

Product details.

Plug and play wiring harness with no splicing required. Convert your 1999-2004 Superduty to look like a 2005-2007 model. Includes brand new set of black 2005-2007 OEM style headlights and exclusive H13/9007 harness adapter. Just plug in the H13/9007 adapter harness. (Supplied With This Kit ) One side of the harness will plug into your 9007 socket and the other side will plug into the H13 bulb in the new headlight. MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION PLEASE READ Cutting is required for part of the fiberglass header panel behind the headlights (Instructions Included). All the mounting holes are existing, but you will have to purchase 2 bolts and clips to mount the top of each headlight. These headlights fit all F-250 F-350 F-450 Superduty Trucks with composite headlights ( Not Sealed Beam Vehicles ). A 2005-2007 direct fit header panel can be purchased if modification of the stock header panel is not desired.
