Miranda Lambert & Little Big Town Ride The Bandwagon Tour Into 2022

15-Date Outing Kicks Off May 6 in Houston, Texas

Tickets on sale beginning friday, jan. 14 at 10 a.m. local time, the cadillac three joins as support on all dates.

Country music superstars and multi-GRAMMY, CMA and ACM Award-winners  Miranda Lambert  and  Little Big Town  join forces to co-headline this spring’s  The Bandwagon Tour , a reincarnation of 2018’s co-headlining run of the same name which earned rave reviews from  Pollstar ,  CMT ,  The Tennessean  and more.

The joint tour produced by Live Nation, featuring  The Cadillac Three  as support on all dates, visits 15 cities beginning Friday, May 6 in Houston, Texas. Tickets to The Bandwagon Tour ’s opening night in Houston go on sale Friday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. local time, with all other dates of  The Bandwagon Tour  on sale Friday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets are available at  LiveNation.com . 

Citi is the official card of  The Bandwagon Tour . Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning the Tuesday ahead of each on sale date at 12 p.m. local time until Thursday at 10 p.m. local time through the Citi Entertainment program. Both critically acclaimed artists in their own right, together Lambert and Little Big Town tout a combined 43 ACM Awards, 23 CMA Awards and seven GRAMMYs. Lambert’s latest single, “ If I Was A Cowboy ,” is currently climbing the charts at Country radio while her recent collaborative project,  The Marfa Tapes , is nominated for a GRAMMY at the upcoming awards ceremony and was named among 2021’s best by  American Songwriter, Billboard, LA Times, Rolling Stone, TIME, Vulture  and more. Little Big Town is currently back in the studio and will release their 10th studio album later this year. This record follows the No. 1 Country album  Nightfall (released in 2020) which includes singles “ Over Drinking ,” GRAMMY-nominated “ The Daughters”  and “ Wine, Beer, Whiskey .” It was also nominated for the GRAMMY Award for Best Country Album and received rave reviews from  The Wall Street Journal ,  Entertainment Week ly and  Paste Magazine , among others.  Billboard  editors describe the band as reaching “substantive emotional richness that few groups can touch” on the album.

Get those cowboy boots out and ready to go country, music fans. Country music superstars Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town just announced a joint summer venture, The Bandwagon Tour, which is scheduled to kick off on Jul. 12 in North Carolina. 

The first set of announced dates for the co-headlining tour include the East Coast and Midwest for a total of 13 shows, with more dates set to be announced soon.

Both critically acclaimed artists together have a combined thirty six ACM Award wins, twenty one CMAs, and four GRAMMYs and are sure to put on a fantastic show. Little Big Town’s most recent album, the Grammy-nominated The Breaker , was released in February 2017, and Lambert’s latest effort, the double album  The Weight of These Wings , was released in November 2016.

Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town are hitting the road again, kicking off a new era of “The Bandwagon Tour.” The co-headlining show is picking up from its first run in 2018, adding tour dates in 15 cities this year.

The “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” singer and the country quartet will feature special guests, The Cadillac Three , on the upcoming tour. Lambert hailed “The Bandwagon Tour” as “ one of the most fun tours I’ve ever done ” as she announced “round two” on Friday (January 7). Little Big Town posted on their own social media channels that they’ve “ been dying to share this news! ” Tickets to the opening show in Houston go on sale on Friday, January 21 at 10 a.m., while tickets for all other tour dates will go on sale Friday, January 14 at 10 a.m., according to a press release. Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town launched their co-headlining Bandwagon Tour over the weekend, playing shows in Charlotte, North Carolina; Indianapolis; and Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to separate sets of their own hits and crowd favorites, Lambert and LBT – whose kids were in tow – took some time to share the stage for a mini-set that included renditions of “ Tin Man ,” “Girl Crush” and a cover of the Dixie Chicks’ “Goodbye Earl.” The 13-date trek – which includes supporting performers Tenille Townes and Natalie Hemby – will run through August 25th.

Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town to Resume The Bandwagon Tour 

Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town are getting back on the bandwagon, announcing tour dates for this summer. The two headlining acts will be joined by the Cadillac Three at all 15 stops. Tickets are on sale for The Bandwagon tour this week, with general public sales beginning on Friday, January 14  following presale opportunities throughout the week (one show is on sale January 21).

The Bandwagon tour begins in May with a stop in at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas, and continues through into June with a closing date on June 11 in New Jersey at BB&T Pavilion in Camden. In between, stops include shows at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Ruoff Music Center in Indiana, DTE Energy Music Center in Detroit, and Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in New York.

Prior to the full tour kicking off, Miranda Lambert and Cadillac Three perform three shows without Little Big Town in late April, at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, FirstBank Amphitheater and William B. Greene Jr. Stadium on the 27-29th, respectively.

Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert will hit the road this summer on their co-headlining Bandwagon Tour, and the two acts have officially announced their opening acts for the trek.

The artists will be joined by Tenille Townes, Oklahoma country group Turnpike Troubadours and the Steel Woods on their tour, which is set to begin on July 12 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

All three acts are up and comers in the world of country music, with their unique sounds lending nicely towards that of Lambert and Little Big Town 's meaningful music.

Also joining the tour will be Nashville songwriter Natalie Hemby, who has written hits for both Lambert and Little Big Town including "White Liar," "Baggage Claim" and "Pontoon."

Both Lambert and Little Big Town are currently on the road on their own tours, with Lambert headlining her Livin' Like Hippies trek and Little Big Town traveling on their the Breakers Tour. Both acts are also nominated for multiple honors at the upcoming ACM Awards , which will take place on April 15 in Las Vegas.

Lambert, who will perform at the ceremony, is nominated for four awards including Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for her writing work on her track "Tin Man."

Little Big Town is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year, Single Record of the Year for "Better Man" and Album of the Year for their project The Breaker .

THE CADILLAC THREE will begin at 7:00pm, followed by LITTLE BIG TOWN, MIRANDA LAMBERT, and MIRANDA LAMBERT & LITTLE BIG TOWN will perform a collaborative set to close the show.

The entrance for General Admission Pit ticket holders will be located at the Admin Gate directly to the right of the Box Office.

PIT TICKET HOLDERS: Please be advised, per the artist's request, all drinks will be poured into cups upon entering the pit.

Patrons will be allowed to bring in up to two factory sealed bottles of water. Miranda Lambert Perseveres Through Final Bandwagon Tour Stop With Little Big Town

Miranda Lambert 's final  Bandwagon Tour  stop with Little Big Town  came Saturday (Aug. 25) — just one day after the headline-making star revealed she was " happily single " in an interview. She had been dating Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker — a complicated relationship that put the superstar in the middle of Felker's divorce proceedings.

Fans who arrived at Chicago's Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on Saturday were still surprised, however, to find signs telling them that opening act "Turnpike Troubadours will not perform tonight due to unforeseen circumstances."

OUCH! Miranda's Clapback Song Is Just Brutal

It was anyone's guess which version of Lambert might appear that night, but the best one showed up — the true-to-brand, feisty, but sweet songstress who was ready to put any challenges behind her after sharing them in song.

"How the hell are you, Chicago?" Lambert asked, strutting onto the stage in fringe sleeves, tan boots and full of attitude. "Good Lord, it’s hot in here. That’s good though — that means we can drink more alcohol!"

From there, Lambert delivered the autobiographical “Heart Like Mine” and the always-emotional “Over You” and “The House That Built Me,” before turning up the heat on songs like “Gunpowder and Lead” and “Mama’s Broken Heart,” which featured a tellingly long glare into the crowd on the " never let ‘em see you cry"  lyric.

“When I get on stage — every single time I walk on stage — my goal is to make you feel everything I can possible make you feel before you leave the building," Lambert told the crowd before performing “Tin Man," during which she put extra emphasis on the line: "Love is so damn hard."

"Because that’s what music is, and that’s what music does. And I use this every day of my life," she said, "To heal me, and to get me through some shit. And that’s what this song did for me."

The rest of the show was an explosion of hit after hit alongside Little Big Town, with the two headliners doing joint collaborations of "Girl Crush" and the Dixie Chicks “Goodbye Earl," in addition to Lambert's "White Liar" and an a capella singalong of "Lean on Me," which closed the show.

And for the first time all night, Lambert put her head on Schlapman's shoulder and shed a few tears.

Miranda Lambert talks ‘Palomino’ album, Bandwagon Tour & more

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Miranda Lambert has a room dedicated to music at her home in Nashville. That, she says, is where her awards live.

It better be a big room, then.

During the 18 years since her debut album, “Kerosene,” the Texas native has become one of country and all of music’s most decorated performers. She’s taken home 78 wins from 192 nominations, three from the Grammys and 29 from the Academy of Country Music.

What’s more, Lambert’s nine solo albums are just part of an adventurous career that includes membership in the Pistol Annies, 2021′s Grammy-nominated “The Marfa Tapes” with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall, and guest appearances for Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Willie Nelson, John Fogerty, Barry Gibb and her ex-husband Blake Shelton.

This year, Lambert has added to the story with “Palomino,” her first outing as a co-producer. The set galloped to No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, and at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 (it also topped the U.K. Country Albums survey). Awards may be in the offing for this, too, but for now, Lambert is happily headlining The Bandwagon Tour with pals Little Big Town and the Cadillac Three. The tour comes to town Saturday, June 4, for a stop at Blossom Music Center.

Did you make “Palomino” with a specific creative goal in mind?

Lambert: Yes, the first song we wrote was “Tourist,” which set us on the path of creating a record with a bit of a theme. We had this whole vision of an epic road trip with all the characters you meet along the way. Since we wrote the songs for this record during a time where no one could travel, we went to visit all these places in our songs instead.

You co-produced the album. What was that like?

Lambert: It’s my first time being a co-producer on one of my records. It was a really great experience to work with Luke Dick and Jon Randall. They are both so talented and also my very good friends, so it was a very fun, low-key process for us.

Mick Jagger’s “Wandering Spirit” is an interesting choice for a cover. How did you decide on that?

Lambert: I had heard the song a long time ago and thought it was so cool, but I’d never thought to cover it. Luke was really pushing for it because it just fit the theme of the record so well, and I was fighting him on it because you can’t cover Jagger! I finally gave in and decided to try to put my own spin on it, and now it’s one of my favorites on the record.

The B-52′s are an interesting choice for collaborators on “Music City Queen.” How did that happen, and what was it like working with them?

Lambert: When Natalie Hemby, Luke Dick and I wrote it, Natalie started singing the “rollin’ down the river” part and someone said, “Hey, wouldn’t it be cool if the B-52′s were on this?” So, we reached out and they said yes. It makes me smile so huge every time I hear them on this song.

You’ve done a lot of collaborating. What’s the allure of working with others like that, and what kinds of things have you learned from other artists over the years?

Lambert: I love collaborating, especially with friends. It just keeps it interesting and pushes me to try different things. What I’ve learned and what I live by is going with your gut. If you believe in something, go for it.

Last year was the 20th anniversary of your debut album. Does it feel like 20 years? 20 minutes? 200 years? What has changed the most for you as an artist during these past two decades?

Lambert: Yep, you said it. Some days it feels like 20 years and some days it feels like 200 and some days 20 minutes. I have worked very hard and have had an amazing career so far. But I’m always looking forward and trying to come up with new ideas, so some days it feels like I’m just getting started. I think the thing that changed the most for me in the last 20 years was getting to know myself better outside of work and also learning to balance work and life. I’ve gotten way better at taking time to do life stuff than I used to.

You’ve been incredibly productive during this time, too. What drives you?

Lambert: It all starts with the music for me. The songs drive me. Songwriting is a huge part of what I do, and I love it. This was the first time in years that I’ve had time to just sit and write for months at a time, so it was a really creative period.

“The Marfa Tapes” that came out last year was such an amazing project. Looking back on it a couple of years later, what stays with you about that project and that experience?

Lambert: That’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever done, creatively. Making a record and a film in the middle of the West Texas plains with two of my heroes and best friends? Are you kidding me? I loved every second of the process.

Where do you put all the awards you’ve won? There’s a bunch of ‘em.

ML: I have a room dedicated to music at my house so that’s where they live!

Are there any plans for Pistol Annies in the near, or far, future?

Lambert: There is always a chance the Annies will get in the mood to write a new record, so we’ll see!!!

What’s going on with MuttNation?

Lambert: We are doing great things for shelter pups. We have been so lucky to have the support of the fans and my extended community, but also Tractor Supply Co. has been a major supporter over the years, and we have been able to help so many shelters and rescue animals because of it. One of our big missions right now is called Love Harder, and it is focused on harder to adopt dogs or dogs with health issues, as well as senior dogs. It’s been cool to see the response from people. Most importantly, MuttNation is about educating people about shelter pets and spay/neuter. Adopt don’t shop! And of course, there is our Fill the Little Red Wagon campaign that is at every tour stop. We pick a local shelter in each market we perform at and have them come to the venue to collect pet supplies as well as donations. I love to be able to combine music and Mutts.

Miranda Lambert and George Strait Help Little Big Town Celebrate 25 Years

B ehind hit songs like “Pontoon”, “Better Man”, “Boondocks”, and “Little White Church”, Little Big Town recently celebrated 25 years in country music. First formed back in the 1990s, the band released ten studio albums, with their last, Mr. Sun , hitting shelves back in 2022. While some years have passed since they released new music, the band recently performed at the 2024 CMT Music Awards with Sugarland. And wanting to celebrate their success, both Miranda Lambert and George Strait recalled the times they spent with Little Big Town. 

For Lambert, she got to know Little Big Town when they toured together during The Bandwagon Tour in 2022. Knowing that each year on stage is a blessing, the singer posted a video of her performing alongside the band. She captioned the post, “Congrats to my friends @littlebigtown for celebrating 25 years as a band this year!  Had so much fun with y’all on The Bandwagon Tour. Can’t wait to see what y’all are up to next.”

Gaining over 53,000 views, Lambert’s post received a great deal of support from fans. One person not only congratulated Little Big Town but offered some advice to Lambert. “Congratulations LBT!!!  Miss Miranda…. I was thinking.  What about Brothers Osborne, Tyler Booth and Your Awesome Self on tour!!!  Give it some thought… No Brainer if you ask me!”

As for Strait, he wasn’t about to miss out on Little Big Town’s milestone as he also posted an image of himself sharing the stage with the band. He wrote, “Congrats to my friends, Little Big Town on 25 years! See ya in Indy on May 4!”

Little Big Town Performs With Sugarland At CMT Music Awards

Again, the post gained massive support from fans as Little Big Town recently performed at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. While taking the stage with Sugarland, fans got more than a performance as the band announced the new Take Me Home Tour. And what better way to announce a tour than by performing Phil Collins’s “Take Me Home”? 

Releasing a statement about their performance with Sugarland, Little Big Town said, “Last night felt like a real homecoming for us and a full circle moment. When we toured with Sugarland last, we would all be backstage harmonizing different cover songs to try and surprise the audience every night. There’s something about this song that feels so nostalgic of that time. It really is like coming home.”

Miranda Lambert Is Hitting the Road Again After Wrapping Up Her Las Vegas Residency

"I cannot wait to get back out there on Elvira."

After taking her final bow at the Bakkt Theatre at Planet Hollywood, she immediately announced her new U.S. tour, kicking off this month. "Vegas is done and now I’m goin back on the road!," Lambert revealed on Instagram. Miranda Lambert needs no introduction, so she's traveling without a supporting act. Tickets for the majority of the summer tour are on sale now, while the remaining date will go on presale for Lambert's fan club on April 10 and general sale on April 12 at 10 am local time.

Most of Lambert's current tour stops will be at festivals, casinos, and fairs, leaving many fans far from the action. Fans begged Lambert to add more stops in the comments. "No FL or TN dates. Bummer!!," "Come to Europe againnn😢😢😢" and "Trying to understand why you aren't doing Tennessee/Georgia," fans complained. Others were ecstatic to hear Lambert would be on the road again. "So excited, @mirandalambert! 🔥🎶💙" and "🥳🥳best news ever!!! 👏👏🙌," excited fans wrote.

Lambert revealed she's refreshed and eager to get back on the road, so maybe there is hope for additional stops down the road! "I've been touring since I was 19 years old," Lambert said in a statement. "So it was nice to step away from the road for a bit and settle into Vegas. That gave us time to miss touring though, so I cannot wait to get back out there on Elvira, my home away from home, and visit the fans across the country that we haven't seen in a while." Prior to the final week-long festival, the band had underwent a rigorous month-long competition. 160 finalists battled against one another all over Moscow’s famous tourist sites, with three performances a day over three days, before a winner was announced.

“All judges, both Russian and international, were very impressed with MICappella’s performance,” said Andrea Figallo , one of the judges from Italy. “Their professional yet passionate delivery mixed with a very big heart makes them one of my favourite vocal pop ensembles.”

This is the band’s third international competition since they first gain recognition after returning from The Sing-off China as the first runner-up. Earlier last month, they also received the “ Best Asian A Cappella Album ” at the 2017 Contemporary Acappella Recording Awards (CARA) in the United States.

“Representing Singapore on the international stage of Moscow Spring A Cappella was such an honour. We went there with the goal to put on a good show, and to have won is such a surprise,” said Juni Goh , MICappella’s tenor.
