Klook Singapore Pass review: save 30% on Singapore’s best attractions

Zhuang Jia Wen

Updated on: August 12, 2023

singapore tourist pass klook

On my first ever visit to Singapore, I wanted to see the top attractions without breaking the bank. After researching options, I decided to purchase the Klook Singapore Pass .

This multi-day pass offers discounted access to major sights like Gardens by the Bay , Singapore Zoo, and more. Using the pass for a 3-day Singapore trip proved a smart way to maximize my time and savings.

Table of Contents

Choosing the Right Klook Pass

Klook offers several Singapore Passes based on duration (2, 3, or 4 days) and inclusions. I opted for the 3-day pass with Universal Studios entry. This let me visit Sentosa as well as downtown attractions. Other versions skip Universal or include extras like a Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass . You can build a customized itinerary.

Ordering on Klook’s website was quick and easy. I simply showed the voucher on my phone for admission to each activity. Having one pass for multiple places was way more convenient than individual tickets.

Getting the Lay of the Land

On my first day, I used the Klook Pass to visit Gardens by the Bay and knock out Singapore’s famous sites. I loved exploring the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, and iconic Supertree Grove. The pass saved me over 30% compared to individual ticketing.

Afterwards, I toured the civic district area including the National Gallery, Asian Civilisations Museum, and Merlion Park. Having free admission to all these spots made it easy to pop into different landmarks and museums near the river without having to commit to just one.

Discovering Cultural Enclaves

On my second day, I used the Klook Pass to explore ethnic neighborhoods and cultural sites. The pass got me into the Baba House in Chinatown, showcasing Peranakan heritage. I also did the guided Malay Heritage Centre tour to uncover Kampong Glam history.

Later, I checked out Little India’s vivid Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. Again, being able to freely access these attractions let me get a wide survey of Singapore’s diverse culture . Without the pass, I likely would have skipped some.

Thrilling Day on Sentosa Island

No trip to Singapore is complete without visiting Sentosa, so I allocated my third day for the island playground. The Klook Pass included roundtrip transport on the Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity mall – super convenient.

The highlight was spending the day at Universal Studios Singapore thanks to my Klook Pass ticket. I enjoyed thrilling rollercoasters like the Battlestar Galactica rides along with shows, movie-themed areas and more.

I still had energy left to visit other Sentosa attractions included like SEA Aquarium and a guided tour of Fort Siloso. Getting so much value from my Klook Pass on Sentosa was the perfect way to end my Singapore holiday.

Worthwhile Savings and Convenience

Overall, purchasing the 3-day Klook Singapore Pass was a wise choice. It delivered significant savings compared to individual admissions and let me pack in many sights through the city. I appreciated the flexibility to choose attractions and build a custom itinerary. The mobile voucher system also made activation seamless.

For first-timers wanting to experience Singapore’s top offerings, a multi-day pass like the Klook Singapore Pass eliminates hassles and offers savings. I was very satisfied with the value it added to my Singapore trip.

Q: Where can I purchase the Klook Pass?

A: You can conveniently book and pay for the Singapore Pass on Klook’s website or app. A mobile voucher will be issued instantly.

Is Klook Pass Singapore (Multi Attraction Pass) worth it?

Please share this article if you think it's awesome!

  • Facebook 30

We all know Singapore is an expensive country and attraction tickets can get really pricey. One of the many ways to reduce travel cost is to get a city pass, which is a bundle ticket that allows you to visit various attractions at cheaper price.

The Klook Pass Singapore (also known as Singapore Multi Attraction Pass) is a fairly new pass in Singapore, launched only in 2022.

If you’re wondering whether it is a good product, and how to maximize its value, I’ll share my findings and thoughts in this article.

What is it?

Singapore Multi Attraction Pass (also known as Klook Pass Singapore) is a pass that allows you to enter from 2 to 10 attractions of your choice. There are currently 29 attractions that you can choose from.

How does it work?

First, purchase the attraction pass and the add-on that you want. Then, activate the pass by making reservation or redemption. To make reservation or redemption, simply follow the instructions. Some attractions require advance reservation, while others allow direct entry without reservation.

Finally, use the pass on your chosen activity and have fun!

How much is it?

In the early days when it was launched, the price of Klook passes were pretty affordable. But, over the time, the prices has increased a lot. As of March 2023, here are the prices of various pass types.

The above prices may change without prior notice. Click here to check the latest price.

What’s included?

The Pass allows admission to any of the activities from listed below. I also include the individual price if you book them separately, not using the Pass, for ease of reference.

The above prices are correct at the time of writing. The prices are based on non-resident prices, some attractions may offer cheaper rate for Singapore residents.

Do note that price is subjected to change and the latest price may not be reflected here, you may click on the source link to check the latest price.

What’s NOT included?

Bungy Jump, iFly and Universal Studios Sentosa are NOT included in the attraction passes, but you can book them as an add-on to your pass.

I’ve done the math, buying them as add-on MAY or MAY NOT be cheaper than purchasing them separately, depending on the type of passes that you purchase.

For example. If you purchase Bungy Jump separately , you’ll pay S$80. Meanwhile, if you purchase it as add-on, you’ll only need to pay between S$44 to S$95. Here are sample calculations:

  • Price of 4 attractions pass = S$133 Price of 4 attractions + Bungy Jump = S$190 Price of Bungy Jump as add-on = 190 -133 = S$57 (Therefore, it makes sense to purchase Bungy Jump as an add-on)
  • Price of 5 attractions pass = S$153 Price of 45 attractions + Bungy Jump = S$248 Price of Bungy Jump as add-on = 248 -153= S$95 (Therefore, it DOES NOT make sense to purchase Bungy Jump as an add-on)

Price may change from time to time, so do your own calculation.

It’s also worth nothing that if you want tandem bungy, then you should purchase Bungy Jump separately because the add-on is only for individual jump, not tandem jump.

You can perform the same exercise for iFly and Universal Studios Singapore and make your own decision.

Which are the attractions with the best value for money?

Based on the attraction prices alone, the top best value for money attractions are:

  • Gardens by the Bay (Flower Dome & Cloud Forest ft Avatar The Experience ) (S$53/adult, S$40/child)
  • Big Bus Singapore Hop On Hop Off Tour (S$51.30/adult, S$42.30/child)
  • Giant Swing (S$51/adult)
  • Night Safari with Tram rides (S$49.50/adult, S$34.20/child)
  • Singapore Zoo with Tram rides (S$48/adult, S$33/child)
  • River Wonders (S$40/adult, S$28/child)
  • Singapore Flyer (S$40/adult, S$25/child)

However, I don’t think you should choose the attractions based on the price alone. Money is not the most important thing in life, happiness is. So, I’d suggest that you go for the attractions that you really like to do instead of just looking at the price tags.

Fine Prints that you should take note of

The pass is valid for 30 days from the date of activation/redemption.

Visits can be applied on different days within the usage validity period.

Each attraction(s) can only be reserved once. That means, if you purchase 2 attraction pass, you must use it at 2 different attractions. You can’t use it at the same attraction twice.

Certain attractions may require advance timeslot reservations. Do read the instruction carefully and plan for your travel in advance, not last-minute.

Before going to the attraction, do check if the attraction is closed for maintenance or for any other reasons. The closing notice can be found at attraction website or Klook Pass page .

When should you get Singapore Multi Attraction Pass?

First of all, you should only get the pass when the price of the pass is cheaper than the total price of all attractions that you want to visit.

Secondly, you should only get the pass if it includes attractions that you REALLY want to visit. Don’t get the pass just because you think it’s cheap.

Thirdly, you should get the pass if you’re sure you can visit all the attractions within 30 days.

When should you NOT get Singapore Multi Attraction Pass?

If you’re a Singapore resident, and if the attraction that you’re going to visit offers discounted price for local resident, you should compare if the local resident price is cheaper than the price of the pass.

You should not get the pass if you’re planning to visit attractions with cheaper price tags. For example, if you want to visit MBS Skypark (S$26) and ArtScience Future World Exhibition (S$23), you’re better off purchasing the attractions separately and pay S$49 in total, rather than getting the 2-attraction pass which costs S$72.

You shouldn’t get the pass if you can’t visit all the attractions within 30 days.

Klook’s Singapore Multi Attraction Pass is a pass that can help you save a ton of money, if you use it wisely. However, you need to know what you REALLY want, and compare the prices between purchasing attraction tickets separately vs using the pass.

Klook Pass Singapore Review : Is it worth it for multiple attractions?

singapore tourist pass klook

Visiting Singapore or a local in Singapore?

If you are planning to visit multiple attractions during a holiday in Singapore or simply be a local 'tourist' during the school holidays, there is a hack that can save you more than a pretty penny.

Klook Pass Singapore

Klook Pass Singapore is a Multi-Attraction Pass that is recently launched in Singapore. Before this, no attraction bundles were available in Singapore, and this Multi-Attraction Pass was launched in 2022 to fill in the gap.

singapore tourist pass klook

Klook Pass Singapore will give you access to a choice of 2,3,4, 5, 6 or 7 attractions in one pass for a discount of up to 52%! This Singapore tourist pass includes general entry to Singapore's attractions, including Universal Studios Singapore, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Cable Car, Skyhelix Sento Singapore, Singapore Zoo, Singapore Flyer, Big Bus tour and more. There are currently 21 attractions on the list.

Unlike local passes with a short validity period (3-5days), this pass is valid for 30 days, allowing flexibility in planning your trips. This would mean that you can enjoy all the attractions at your own leisure instead of zipping past them due to time constraints.

How does it work?

You first must purchase the attraction pass and choose the add-on you want. Activate the pass by reserving activities in your bookings. Use the pass on any date at any activity included within the validity period ( note you cannot use it on the same attraction twice), and you are ready to go!

You can get your Klook Singapore pass here.

Singapore Tourist Pass or EZ Link: Which is Better in 2024?

Singapore Tourist Pass or EZ Link: Which is Better in 2024?

Singapore has one of the best public transport systems in the world.  The entire city was designed with this system in mind, so getting around is fast and easy.

Paying by cash is an option, but it’s quite a lot of hassle and costs significantly more.  So in order to use public transport in Singapore, you really need either a Singapore Tourist Pass or an EZ Link card .

We will tell you exactly where you can buy a Singapore Tourist Pass, what it will cost you and whether it’s worth it over the EZ Link Card.

What is the Singapore Tourist Pass?

A Singapore Tourist Pass is a card designed to allow tourists to easily use Singapore’s efficient public transport system.  The cards come in one, two or three-day versions, which give you unlimited use of the standard buses, MRT Trains and LRT Trains in Singapore for the number of days specified.

This card is very quick and easy, allowing you to not have to worry about topping up or having insufficient funds.  Once you have bought it, you are good to go and explore all the best things to do in Singapore .

Just remember, as soon as you step on a bus or enter an MRT platform, tap the card on the panel.  Then, as you get off the bus or depart from an MRT platform, tap another panel to leave.

Singapore Tourist Pass Price

The Singapore Tourist Pass price is S$12 for one day, S$19 for two days and S$24 for three days.

You will be required to pay a deposit of S$10 (in addition to the prices above) when you purchase the Singapore Tourist Pass.  This deposit will be refunded to you in full, as long as you return the card within five days of purchasing it.

If you choose to keep the card, you will not be refunded the S$10.  The card will transition to a standard EZ Link card.

Where to Buy Singapore Tourist Pass

For most people, the easiest place to purchase and return the Singapore Tourist Pass is Changi International Airport.

You can do this at the TransitLink Ticket Office in Terminal two between the hours of 8am and 9pm.  Alternatively, there will be automated kiosks available 24/7 in both Terminal two and three.

If you have already left the airport, you can buy the Singapore Tourist Pass at a TransitLink Ticketing Office located at one of the below MRT Stations.

If you’re staying centrally at one of our favourite hotels, Marina Bay Sands Hotel , Yotel or Hipstercity Hostel , then you’ll probably want to visit the Orchard, Raffles or Bayfront MRT stations.

Singapore Tourist Pass vs EZ Link

If you are visiting Singapore for less than three days and intend to use public transport as your main method of transportation (which is very likely), then the Singapore Tourist Pass is the best option for you.

For trips under three days, this is the most cost-effective and easiest way to use Singapore’s public transport system.

If you plan to visit Singapore for longer than three days and intend to use public transport to get around, then you should choose the EZ Link card.  It is also very cheap, plus you do not need to worry about returning the card before leaving.

If you only plan to use public transport only a few times during your stay, then don’t purchase either the Singapore Tourist Pass or the EZ Link card.  It will be cheaper to just pay by cash.

Canal boats in Singapore.

Singapore Tourist Pass Refund

You will be eligible for a refund of your S$10 rental deposit when you return the Singapore Tourist Pass to a TransitLink Ticket Office or SMRT Passenger Service Centre within five days of purchase.

Note, the value of the Singapore Tourist Pass is non-refundable.  If you do not use it, or you are unhappy with it for any reason, you will not be able to receive a refund beyond the S$10 rental deposit.

You also must ensure you return the card within five days of purchase or you will not receive your S$10 refund.

Other Conditions of the Singapore Tourist Pass

One day usage of the Singapore Tourist Pass covers a 24 hour period from midnight on the day of use until 11.59pm the same day.

This means if you arrive and use your card at 10 pm, you will only get a couple of hours usage until the day ticks over.  Try to start its use in the morning for maximum value.

The second and third day must be consecutive.  Even if you do not use your card on the second or third day, it still counts as a day.

Some transport services are excluded: Night Rider, Sentosa Express, RWS8, Fast Forward and Nite Owl Buses.

Gardens by the Bay and the Singapore Flyer.

Singapore Tourist Pass Plus

The Singapore Tourist Pass Plus is an extended version of the standard Singapore Tourist Pass sold exclusively by Changi Recommends.  It offers some additional perks for tourists, beyond unlimited use of MRT and bus service.

Currently, the Singapore tourist Pass Plus costs $38 for a three-day pass.  We feel that for the majority of people this pass won’t offer any benefit above what you already get from the cheaper, standard Singapore Tourist Pass.

What you do get is a complimentary Xplore half-day tour and a complimentary $10 Hooters Dining Voucher.  In addition to this, you will receive 5% off merchandise at Resort World Sentosa.

We would recommend that you stick to the standard Singapore Tourist Pass unless you have intentions of using the Xplore half-day tour and dining at Hooters.

For us, the perks really aren’t relevant, and as a result, we’ve never chosen to purchase this card.  If you’re unsure, it’s safe for you to save your cash and skip the Singapore Tourist Pass Plus.

Where to Stay in Singapore With an STP

For most tourists, we’d recommend staying as close to the city center as possible as it makes getting to all the major attractions as easy as possible. You’ll have plenty of spots to pick up an STP as well as a bunch of stations to choose from when catching the MRT.

We’d recommend staying anywhere between Marina Bay, Chinatown, Clarke Quay and Orchard. These suburbs are all next to eachother in central Singapore making access to anywhere on the island easy.

singapore tourist pass klook

To experience Singapore a bit more like a local would, we’d recommend also checking out suburbs like Toa Payoh, Ang Mo Kio or Bishan, however, accommodation here would be scarce. We stayed with family in these suburbs and it was awesome. All of these suburbs have bus stops and MRT stations so even if you’re not in the city center you can still get around. Google Maps is reliable all around the country, just make sure you’ve picked up a Singapore tourist sim card first so you don’t get lost!

Hotel Recommendations:

Marina Bay: Marina Bay Sands Hotel (the best of the best)

Orchard: Yotel (modern and affordable by Singapore standards)

Clarke Quay: Hipstercity Hostel (best hostel in Singapore, centrally located but still not cheap)

Very helpful. Thanks.

' src=

Don’t buy a ‘Plus’ card – absolutely no benefit. We just arrived at Singapore yesterday and went to a ‘Changi Recommends’ counter at the airport. The attendant told us we should buy a STPP card because of how good it was. We did so paying SG$38 ea and discovered we would have been far better off getting an EZ-Link card due to how cheap most trips cost using public transport.

However, the really annoying thing we’ve discovered is there’s absolutely *no* additional benefit of getting a STPP card over the STP one. The STP is $20 with $10 deposit on the card. The STPP is $38 outright. There are no discounts specifically for STPP. Not the most costly of scams but a scam none the less.

' src=

100% agree! Since writing this article I’m not sure what the latest ‘perks’ of the STPP are, but it’s never really been worth the extra cost. The normal STP is good value, but an EZ-Link card is useful for longer trips or if you plan to return to Singapore. This is what we use.

Do we’ve to buy one STP per person??

Practical Information & Tips

When considering the Klook Singapore Multi-Attraction Pass for your trip, there are several important details and conditions to be aware of to ensure you make the most out of your purchase. Understanding these fine prints can help you navigate your options more effectively and avoid any potential disappointments.

  • Validity Period: The pass is valid for 30 days from the date of activation or redemption. This gives you ample time to explore the attractions at your own pace.
  • Single Use per Attraction: Each attraction included in the pass can only be visited once. For instance, if you opt for a 2-attraction pass, you must use it for two different attractions. Revisits to the same attraction are not permitted under the pass.
  • Advance Reservations: Some attractions may require you to book a timeslot in advance. It’s crucial to read the instructions carefully and plan your visits ahead of time rather than making last-minute plans.
  • Maintenance and Closure: Always check if an attraction is closed for maintenance or other reasons before heading out. Closure notices can typically be found on the attraction’s website or the Klook Pass page.

When to Opt for the Singapore Multi Attraction Pass

  • Cost Savings: The primary consideration should be whether the pass offers a lower total cost compared to purchasing tickets to each attraction separately.
  • Desired Attractions Included: Ensure the pass includes attractions that you are genuinely interested in visiting. The value of the pass is not just in its price but in the enjoyment and experiences it facilitates.
  • Usage Within Validity: Confirm that you can realistically visit all selected attractions within the 30-day validity period to fully utilize the pass’s value.

When Not to Opt for the Pass

  • Local Resident Discounts: If you are a Singapore resident eligible for discounted prices at certain attractions, compare these discounts with the pass’s cost to determine the more economical option.
  • Cheaper Individual Tickets: If your planned visits are to attractions with lower admission fees, it might be more cost-effective to purchase tickets separately rather than using the pass.
  • Time Constraints: Avoid purchasing the pass if you cannot visit all the chosen attractions within the 30-day period, as this would diminish the pass’s value.

Conclusion: Your Klook Pass Singapore

The Klook Singapore Multi Attraction Pass can offer significant savings and convenience for travelers looking to explore multiple attractions. However, its value is highly dependent on individual circumstances, including the attractions you wish to visit, the total cost savings, and your ability to use the pass within its validity period. By carefully considering your interests, comparing prices, and planning your visits, you can make an informed decision on whether the Klook Pass is the right choice for your Singapore adventure.

I would like to know in what order should I do these? What can I bunch together in a day over 4 full days. I plan to get an early start every day. So I want to pack the days with everything to see and do. Which of these activities require a timed ticket? I think River Wonders and Night Safari do, but any others?

1. Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass

2. Marina Bay Sands Skypark Observation Deck

3. Wings of Time Show Ticket in Singapore

4. SkyHelix Sentosa Ticket in Singapore

5. Big Bus Singapore Hop On Hop Off Tour (Open-Top)

6. Night Safari Singapore Ticket With Tram Ride

7. River Wonders Singapore Ticket

8. Which one is more recommended- The Singapore River Cruise or River Cruise by WaterB ?

9. Big Bus Singapore Night City Tour - Recommended? I believe its 3 hrs long.

10. For Gardens by the Bay , the one that is included in THIS pass is only Flower Dome and Cloud Forest . The separate Klook ticket for GBTB are either FD/CF (or FD and Supertree Obs) and I can add on Floral Fantasy for $38.74 USD and then purchase tickets at the venue for Supertree and OCBC Skyway ($14 each).

10. Long Bar at Raffles Hotel (includes a Sling Singapore). What exactly is this "excursion"?

10. Would the S.E.A. Aquarium be recommended for two 50/51 yo adults? I almost feel like they are all more or less the same?

10. Jewel Changi Airport Attraction Ticket. Recommended or just view from the ground?

I was planning to check out Changi airport on my arrival day (although I do arrive at 645pm).

This is a lot to read, and I thank you for any and all responses. I leave in 2 weeks and arrive on Friday April 5, so I will need to reserve the activities soon. Thank you.

**Myrn, I seeeeee! Ooh, good catch! I think I am overpaying!**

This can be a big issue with passes if they are of the type Select N number from selection of X.

It then turns out that to make the pass viable financially you either have to rush around (false economy in my eyes) or often pick a limited few high value items so are forced to a more limited selection (false economy if those high ticket items were not things you wanted).

So yes checking pass costs vs actual costs is really important.

The right pass can be good to the right person but it doesnt make it necessarily universal.

**I am wondering if I should just buy the tickets as I go. What I definitely need to reserve I guess I should buy now and buy direct from site**

OK so the rest of this post means you see how the passes can be more restrictive than first glance and headlines may show.

I buy very little in advance - even places I know I am going. THis provides me with a flexiblity to cover issues with weather, illness, preferences on the day etc. Online savings are often not that big for pre-purchase and I balance that against flexibility

Sometimes a good enough deal comes by, or if Im going to say a sporting event like Rugby 7s tournament or a concert where buying in advance really is required.

Basic rules to see if a pass works for you is to compare costs - looking at local deals and then if there is a saving is it large enough to put a 3rd party between you and the attraction and large enough to lose flex in timing. Then the most important thing is be very careful you try to fit the pass to the trip not alter the trip to fit a pass.

Have you already purchased the 10 attraction pass?

Good question ALi as I assumed from the replies that it hadnt been bought - but just checked the first post and the OP does say they have bought it.

If its bought and you want to visit things Id say theres no point discarding the pass at this point. Use it - just buy supplementary items direct rather than via the pass as addons

singapore tourist pass klook

I also advise against booking tickets in advance. It ties you down to a set date, which may be unsuitable (health issues or weather).

It's very unusual for an attraction to be fully booked.

And if it's reached capacity, you really don't want to be there. You may have to queue to get in, and the crowds will spoil your pleasure, much better to do something else.

Myrm - yes I thought already bought but then the question of 'I am wondering if I should just buy the tickets as I go' came later.

Im thinking best to decide what you want to do and then purchase at the venue OR get a discount on the day for an attraction (if an offer is available).

Hi Myrm and Ali! Thank you so much for your replies. I did buy the 10 attraction pass already but it says I can cancel as I haven’t yet activated the pass. I’ve already requested a refund.

I priced it all out and I can get the MBS obs discounted since I signed up for their free reward card. So I will buy those directly online. Do I REALLY need to buy these in advance though?

Direct on MS and RW site I can buy a two park pass but I think I can get it cheaper through Klook. I’ve been pricing things out and now I’ve done confused myself even more. Which just means I need a break from this. Haha.

Tripadvisor staff removed this post at the original author's request.

I think you'll waste too much time if you fit in MBS into the Sentosa visit.

If you use mrt you'll need to allow about 40 minutes each way, a taxi will be quicker perhaps 20 minutes.

There's a lot to do on Sentosa, I'd concentrate on that.

Heatseeker, thanks. Would I be able to do the Hoho bus early in the day and then Sentosa?
