Customer

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Moscow, a City Like No Other

Moscow is Russia’s largest city with a population of between 12 and 13 million. It is also Europe’s largest city and when you visit Moscow, you can feel it. The layout and architecture of the city is eclectic, ranging from crooked, ancient streets and alleyways to wide, bustling boulevards, from medieval churches to Stalin skyscrapers and to modern, glass buildings towering over everything and of course in the center of it all is the Kremlin and the magnificent Red Square. Moscow is also home to a fantastic, efficient and very beautiful metro system – each station having its own special design. In fact, Express to Russia’s Moscow metro tours and excursions are some of our most popular attractions that we offer. On our Moscow tours, you will see this and more.

Moscow Tours centering on Russian History

Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.

Frequently Asked Questions From Our Travelers

What is the best time to visit moscow.

Any time of year is fine depending on what you plan to do. Summertime is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the city and its vibrant atmosphere, but Moscow will be much busier and accommodation is more expensive. Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. There are also various festivals and events organised throughout the year. For more information about the best time to visit, read our guide

How many days are enough in Moscow?

If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. For an informative and well-organised day out, check out our Moscow day tours with options to suit all interests.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Description

Highlights:.

  • Experience medieval Kitay Gorod (China town).
  • Wander picturesque Red Square and Alexander Garden.
  • Explore grand Christ the Savior Cathedral on our Red Square tour.
  • Breathtaking panoramic views from Patriarch bridge.
  • Enjoy a hearty lunch on the large open verandah and marvel at the stunning views of the Kremlin.
  • Learn about Russian culture from the local through relaxed cultural discussions.

Tour Itinerary:

Red square:.

Russia and Moscow are synonymous with Red Square and the Kremlin and that's hardly surprising as you'll find these places absolutely stunning!

  • - Walk-through the Resurrection Gate and don’t forget to flip a coin so you’ll be sure to come back one day!
  • - Visit the world's famous Kazan Cathedral .
  • - See the State Department Store (GUM), once the Upper Trading Stalls, which were built over a century ago and still operating!
  • - Admire the lovely St. Basil's Cathedral! The French diplomat Marquis de Custine commented that it combined "the scales of a golden fish, the enamelled skin of a serpent, the changeful hues of the lizard, the glossy rose and azure of the pigeon's neck" and wondered at "the men who go to worship God in this box of confectionery work".
  • - Walk by Lobnoye Mesto (literally meaning "Execution Place", or "Place of Skulls"), once Ivan the Terrible's stage for religious ceremonies, speeches, and important events.
  • - Entering the Alexander Garden , you’ll take in spectacular views of Russian architecture from ancient to Soviet times, as well as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with an eternal flame. Watch Changing of the Guard Ceremony every hour in summer and every half an hour in winter.

Kitai-gorod:

Stroll along medieval Kitai-gorod with its strong ancient Russia feel, known for its bohemian lifestyle, markets and arts.

  • - Nikolskaya Street. Here you will find the Russia's first publishing house, the second oldest monastery, and Ferryn Pharmacy, known as the number one pharmacy back in Soviet times and famous for its Empire-style architecture.
  • - Ilinka Street. The financial street of the Kitaigorod (China Town) district, where you’ll find the Gostiny Dvor (Merchant’s Yard), which is now a showroom for Ferraris and Maseratis. The street was designed in the 1790s by Catherine the Great.
  • - Varvarka street. The oldest street in Moscow, which dates back to the 14th century, and still has remnants of early Muscovite architecture, such as the Old English Court and the Palace of the Romanov’s.
  • - Kamergersky Lane. Only a small road of about 250 meters, it is home to some of the oldest artifacts of the city, as each building holds a fascinating story. Some of Russia's most famous writers, poets, and composers from as far back as the Golden Age of Russian culture, have lived or worked on this lane.

Historic City Center

Walk the historical old center of Moscow with its cool local vibe, including the main Tverskaya street , and indulge in desserts in the first grocery “Eliseev's store” , housed in an 18th century neoclassical building, famous for its baroque interior and decoration.

From our tour. Impressions of our American tourist:

At 3:30, as energy flagged, lunch was on the agenda at a Ukrainian restaurant.  Just in time!  We asked our guide to order for us.  We all had the same thing....borscht (the Ukrainian version has beans and more tomatoes than the Russian version, which has more beets and includes beef).

The special high bread served is called galushki.  Our main course was golubtsy...a dish of minced meat rolled in braised cabbage leaves.  Both dishes called for optional sour cream as a topping....of course, yes, please....I recommend it.

Full, satisfied, and completely refreshed, it was off to Red Square and St. Basil's and GUM department store.  Red Square is not so named because of the color of the brick walls of the Kremlin.  Rather the word for 'red' and the word for 'beautiful' are similar in pronunciation....and, there you have it.

As we made the turn by the National Museum in front of which is the mounted sculpture of the "Marshall of Victory," Giorgy Zhukov from WWII and caught our first view of St. Basil's, my friend and I simultaneously emitted "Oooohhhhh!"  There it was....the iconic onion domes of St. Basil's!  Hooray....it was open until 7....we had about 30 minutes and were allowed in, AND we could take photos with no flash.

Now, I can give you a taste of what we saw in the other cathedrals in Cathedral Square.  What we learned is that St. Vasily and St. Basil are one in the same....Russian/English.  He was a common man who wandered Moscow unclothed and barefoot.  But, all, even Ivan the Terrible, heeded his opinions derived from his visions.  Ivan had this cathedral built over his tomb.

As we exited and took photos up close of the onion domes, Inna presented us with chocolate (how did she know we were ready for another energy boost, and we each got a big piece of chocolate.  The baby's name pictured on the wrapper of this famous Russian chocolate is Alyonka....the Russian Gerber baby, don't you think?

One could wear out the credit card in GUM's (capitalized because it is actually a government abbreviation), but the 'kitty' and my credit card stayed in my pocket as we strolled through the glass-topped arcade.

We then strolled through some of Moscow's lovely pedestrian streets; paused to listen as a wonderful quartet performed Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" in an underground passage to cross the busy street (hooray!....we DID have our 'classical concert' experience after all; a request Alina tried in vain to fill because none was scheduled those days), saw the Bolshoi, which means 'big' (my friend has yet to recover that their performance schedule did not coincide with our cruise), saw the Central Telegraph Building, dating from the 1930's, and made our way to the Ritz-Carlton to see the night view of Moscow from the rooftop bar, called O2.

There were fleece blankets to wrap yourself in....yes, it got that cold when the sun set.  We each ordered something hot to drink...the ginger, mint, lemon tea served to me in a parfait glass (for 600 rubles...about $9....you pay for the view here!) was delightful and hit the spot perfectly.  It was time to call it a night....

Olivia Rodrigo remembers her life in two parts: before she heard the Breeders’ “Cannonball,” and after, she told the crowd at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, when her Guts World Tour arrived in New York.

And that is how the ’90s alt-rock idols came to play the New York arena for the first time last week, 31 years after that song from their platinum 1993 album, “Last Splash,” charted on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Rodrigo’s camp initially approached the Breeders in September about opening some dates on the tour supporting her second album, “Guts .” “My first reaction was, Wow, that seems kind of odd,” the band’s bassist, Josephine Wiggs, said in an interview. “But after I’d thought about it for a while, I thought, ‘That’s actually really genius.’”

Kim Deal, the singer-guitarist who leads the band with her twin sister, Kelley, said she was surprised when they got the invite. “I’d heard ‘Drivers License,’ and I liked that a lot,” she said, referring to Rodrigo’s breakout 2021 smash.

Kelley wondered if it might be a mistake. “I thought, ‘Is she sure? Do they really mean us?’”

But Rodrigo made her enthusiasm clear when the shows were confirmed, reaching out personally to share her excitement. “She texted each one of us individually,” Kelley recalled.

“And said, ‘Really happy to hear that you’re going to do this,’” Wiggs added. “Very classy.”

Aside from Kim, who played Madison Square Garden in 1992 when her earlier band, Pixies, opened for U2, no one in the group had ever performed at the venue before. Kim hadn’t been back since, and said she had no memory of that previous gig: “I usually remember the bad shows, so it’s a good thing that I really don’t remember that one.”

With the first date in the books, the Breeders spent part of Saturday afternoon glimpsing Rodrigo’s soundcheck — she was belting “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” to an empty arena — and then briefly chatting with her. “So easy to talk to!” Kim reported as the Breeders headed up to the stage to adjust their own amps and pedals. The lights were up; two men vacuumed the previous night’s pink and purple star-shaped confetti.

“How about we do a piece of ‘Cannonball,’ like when everything comes in?” Kim asked the band, which also includes the drummer Jim Macpherson. They had already tested the distorted ahh-ooohh-ahh vocalizations that open the song. Kim blew a whistle to emulate the record’s microphone feedback.

Rodrigo was born a decade after the release of “Cannonball,” but the 21-year-old heard it as a teenager and remembers “instantly falling in love with the Breeders,” she wrote in an email. “I thought Kim was the coolest girl in the world,” Rodrigo said. “I’m very inspired by them and everything they stand for. They are absolutely iconic, and playing these shows with them has been a surreal honor.” (The Breeders have joined the tour for four shows at the Garden that wrap on Tuesday, and four more at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles later this summer.)

Mischief, wryness, confidence and camaraderie feel encoded into the poised riffs and bass line of “Cannonball,” and it’s easy to imagine girls gently headbanging along to it for eternity. Rodrigo went louder and crunchier on “Guts,” long inspired by artists who are “not trying to recreate a version of rock music that guys make,” as she told The New York Times last year.

Soundcheck proceeded like a supercut. “Should we do half of ‘Do You Love Me Now’?” Kim asked before crashing the song open and letting its twin harmonies ring out. “A little piece of ‘Drivin’ on 9’?” signaling the aching country tune. “Should we throw in ‘Gigantic’?” Kim asked before unleashing the titanic anthem she co-wrote and sang as a member of Pixies. (She dedicated its “big, big love” to Rodrigo during the show.)

Earlier, the band sat in a green room processing its Guts experience so far. Kelley had been impressed by the emotional arc of Rodrigo’s songs the previous night. “I was texting somebody, ‘I’m so empowered right now!’” She later reached out to praise Rodrigo’s voice as “really special,” observing, “Her tone and control are spectacular!”

“She performs with a really good sense of humor,” Kim added.

Wiggs said she could hear some Breeders commonalties in a Rodrigo chord progression, while Macpherson detected a bit of the band in “Jealousy, Jealousy,” from her first album, “Sour.” “The bass riff was almost like a ‘Hag,’ ‘Hellbound’ -ish kind of thing,” he said.

The Breeders expressed shock at how young Rodrigo’s fans were, and the collective decibel of their screams on Friday night. “You’re going to be surprised by how loud it was,” Kelley said. Weren’t their own amps loud, too? “Not louder than 30,000 tweens,” she said.

Kim roasted her bandmates for withholding stage banter the night before. “Looking out at the sea of 7- and 8-year-olds, I had no idea what to say,” Wiggs said, deadpan. “I could just about manage to say something to people who are obviously teenagers. I was like, OK, maybe I’ll try to make eye contact with the dads.”

The Deal sisters are no strangers to parental accompaniment at gigs. “My dad used to have Ray Charles in his headphones, watching us play, when he drove us around in the r.v. with Nirvana,” Kim said, referring to the band’s 1992 tour with what was then the biggest band on Earth. “He’d have his cassette Walkman,” Kelley added. “He was a big supporter, but he’d heard us a million times.”

In Kurt Cobain’s liner notes to Nirvana’s 1992 compilation “Incesticide,” he detailed the recent life experiences that had meant the most to him since “becoming an untouchable boy genius,” including “playing with the Breeders” on the list. “Nirvana and Foo Fighters would really curate their opening bands, which is I think what Olivia is doing in a way, curating new music that she wants fans to get to know,” Kelley said.

Most of the young people watching from the front rows on Saturday were not familiar with the Breeders — who are all in their 50s and 60s — though there were exceptions. “My parents know who they are!” exclaimed an 18-year-old fan named Mack. “My dad said they had some jams back when he was younger. He didn’t know if I would like them, but I trust Olivia.”

Another fan, Elle, 16, was with her father, who saw the Breeders at Lollapalooza alongside Smashing Pumpkins and the Beastie Boys. “For me, this was really cool,” he said. “I don’t know the tour’s other openers as well, but I’ve loved the Breeders since ’94 when I saw them last.”

Rodrigo’s fans were decked out in sparkling skirts, purple bows and platform boots in honor of their heroine, who took the stage in a series of short, glittering skirts. The Breeders are known for more understated sartorial choices. Had they given any thought about to what to wear?

“I sent out a ‘help’ text to a friend of mine,” Kelley admitted. “I said, I’m trying to upgrade my look from my T-shirt and jeans that I typically wear, but staying in my comfort zone. He said, ‘I find glitter or sequins to always be the answer.’ I just waited for him to laugh or something. That was no help to me at all. So I went with a T-shirt and jeans.”

“Like she’s been dressing since seventh grade,” Kim said.

Maynard James Keenan's Sessanta tour in Phoenix: Here's what - and who - you'll see on stage

stage courteline tours

Maynard James Keenan is bringing a tour celebrating his 60th birthday to Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix for two nights, the second of which is his actual 60th birthday — Wednesday, April 17.

The tour is called Sessanta because it’s Italian for 60.

The concerts feature members of A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus not only sharing a stage, but joining each other's performances as the night unfolds with all three bands onstage for the duration of the concert.

It's a sequel of sorts to Cinquanta (Italian for 50), a 50th birthday celebration Keenan threw himself at the Greek Theatre in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, with members of A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Failure.

We caught up with Keenan, who rose to fame as the singer for Tool in the '90s and became a celebrated winemaker after leaving L.A. for Jerome, Arizona, to talk about the tour before he'd sorted out the details at rehearsal or released the three-song tour EP, “Sessanta E.P.P.P.”

This is what he had to say.

Maynard James Keenan on life as a rock star turning 60

How does it feel to be turning 60?

My ribs hurt.

Yeah, I pulled my ribs somehow yesterday. But yeah, (expletive) like that. You stand up from bed and your knee pops out. And you're like, "I didn't really do anything. Why is that?"

Does it feel like your relationship to what you do has changed much as you've gotten older?

I think it's a better relationship, just figuring out more efficient ways to go about writing, to go about sharing, to go about recording, especially with things progressing with technology. It's just better all around.

In that the technology makes different ways of collaborating possible?

Absolutely. Just in general, being able to get your ideas out. It used to be you'd spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to go to a studio. And you're kind of writing in a rehearsal space that smells like wet socks and beer. Now I can write in the hotel room.

I can see where that would be a better situation. And this tour is a bit of an extension of what you did with the 50th birthday concerts?

Yeah, absolutely. The rotation where one band will play a few songs and then the next band plays a few songs. It's gonna be fun.

The logistics of A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus sharing a stage

And how does the sharing of band members work?

Well, it depends on the song. That's what we're going to rehearsals now to determine, having other special guests on a song or guesting on each other's songs. That will just come down to logistics and what makes sense while we're rehearsing.

You're obviously in A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. Will you be sitting in with Primus, too?

It's hard to say. Once we get into rehearsals, we'll figure out what songs they're actually doing. I don't even know.

There's that poster that says all three bands on stage at the same time. That's not for the length of the concert, is it?

So if there's a song going on that you're not taking part in, are you just hanging out on stage at that point?

Yeah, there's couches. We might be sharing cake. We're all on stage.

Oh, nice. I saw a quote from Les Claypool where he said, 'What a glorious notion of combining three bands that all start with the letter P.' Was that at all a factor in having Primus on there, that they start with a P as well?

No, it just ended up being accidental, honestly. We had tried to approach a couple other bands. It basically comes down to logistics. Who's touring? Who's writing? Who's even willing to do a thing like this?

Who are the other bands that you approached?

Pixies but they were touring right at the same time. A couple others. The names escape me at the moment.

I was thinking Primus might have been a choice because you have a relationship with Tim Alexander. Is that how they became involved?

Absolutely. I was gonna try to get him down anyway. And Les and (Primus guitarist) Larry (LaLonde) and Tim are all very open-minded. They've jammed with a lot of different people. Les' relationship with Mr. (Sean) Lennon makes sense. Some of his other projects. It just seemed to fit right.

I saw an Instagram post where you said, 'We may even play new songs.' Have you written new songs with these concerts in mind? Or do you plan on writing new songs?

There's an EP. We basically each did a song I had been working on in Logic, just kind of getting songs in the folder, getting my head around the process of using Logic, and I ended up with 60 things in the folder. I started developing them further and realized, 'Oh, this kind of sounds like a Primus song. This kind of sounds like a Puscifer song. This sounds like A Perfect Circle song.'

So we each recorded them individually and they're all gonna be on the same EP available at the concert. I think there's only, like, a handful at each show that are available. And then we're gonna probably sell them online on the actual tour website.

You're also releasing recordings of that 50th birthday concert. Did putting these concerts together inspire you to circle back to those recordings?

They're coming out now because it just took forever to get our (expletive) together. They've been bumbling around and we kind of mixed them, then we forgot about them. Then, we come back around to them and other things happened. COVID. My other three bands released albums. We just kind of lost track of it. Then last year, it was ready to go but we were like, "We might as well just wait 'til the 60th birthday party."

What's next for Keenan's bands A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Tool?

These are A Perfect Circle's first live shows since 2018. How does it feel to be getting back together with those guys?

I think it's gonna be fun. It was in the past. Like I said, rehearsals are starting pretty soon. So we're blowing the dust off.

With all those song ideas you got together to arrive at these new songs you did for this EP, have you given any thought to getting either A Perfect Circle or Puscifer back into the studio or wherever you'd like to record?

I mean, that's always happening. There's always folders of stuff we're working on. It's just a matter of setting aside the time to do it, to finish it off. But all those things are on the table. Always. That's what we do.

There's obviously been a lot of talk surrounding Tool recording a new album. How are things going on that front?

As you know, I wait for them to tell me that there's something to discuss. Then I'm all ears.

So it hasn't gotten to the point where you're adding to the creative process yet?

I'm not even gonna say a word about it. Because if I even mention a syllable, that's the whole article and my 60th birthday party gets a sidenote, right?

Why Keenan opened a fried chicken restaurant in Arizona

I hear you just opened a new fried chicken place in Cottonwood.

What can you tell me about that?

That it's delicious and you should drive north and check it out. It's a little Southwestern twist on hot chicken .

Keenan's chicken: This Arizona rock star makes killer fried chicken. Now he's selling it with wine pairings

What inspired you to open a chicken place?

Mead, to be honest. I was making mead right around COVID lockdown. I'd had a bunch of honey wines and people kind of overdo them. They age them in a whiskey barrel. They add cherries and blueberries and a bunch of garbage. I just wanted to try an actual honey wine to see what it was like. So I dove in. We made the first one. It was delicious. I ended up carbonating it and putting in a Puscifer can, so it's a Puscifer Queen Bee Mead.

Then once we tried it, the first thought that I had was that it would pair perfectly with my fried chicken recipe. So I started experimenting with that, kind of pairing them together to see if that worked and it was delicious. So that's why we're doing the chicken actually, because of the mead.

Sessanta will have special guests and birthday cake for Maynard

Is there anything else about the birthday concerts that you think people should know?

I think it's just strap in because it's probably not something you're used to. You're used to an opening band, maybe another opener. And then the headliners. It's not laid out like that. It's much more festive. And the rotation, if we do it right. We pulled it off on Cinquanta. It was pretty flawless. So hopefully we can do it this time. It's a different setup a little bit from last time, but it's gonna be fun.

When you talked about sofas and cake and being on stage with the other bands even when you're not performing, is the idea to make it feel more like a party than a concert up there?

Both. I think you can have both, right? A concert party. Party concert.

Sure. It sounds like a great time.

It's gonna be fun. We'll have special guests and people you didn't expect to be up there. Can't really nail anybody down. Because if I say it out loud, then they'll have a dentist appointment and they won't show up. Musicians are flaky like that. So I can't really announce special guests.

But you anticipate there there could be special guests in assorted cities on the tour.

Oh, yeah, absolutely. That's the plan.

Ricky Martin appears to get an erection on stage at Madonna concert

The performer was apparently very excited to join Madonna in Miami for her "Celebration" tour.

Ricky Martin appeared to be super excited by Madonna 's dancers shaking their bon-bons all up on him.

Madonna welcomed the 52-year-old on stage during a performance of "Vogue" at Sunday night's Celebration tour stop in Miami — and, judging by fan-captured videos from the concert shared online , Martin seemingly grew aroused by the dancers' sensual grinding in front of him.

Another video Martin shared to social media also appeared to show his alleged arousal during the moment. Shortly after taking the stage, Martin sat in one of two silver chairs to help Madonna judge the ballroom portion of the show, which typically sees the singer-songwriter's dancers strut down a runway to receive scores from which Madonna and a rotating roster of celebrity guest judges.

"Thank you @Madonna my love! Always fun to be invited to the party!" Martin tweeted alongside the video. "You all, CAN’T MISS THIS SHOW!"

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Martin for comment.

Martin revealed earlier this year on an episode of Live With Kelly and Mark that he first met Madonna in 1999 following his performance at the Grammys, and the pair have remained friends ever since.

Other celebrities who've joined Madonna for the "Vogue" portion of the show include Julia Garner — who was initially hired to play Madonna in the star's delayed , self-directed biopic — RuPaul's Drag Race stars Sapphira Cristál , Plane Jane , Symone , and Monét X Change , and David Harbour , who starred in Madonna's 2011 directorial effort W.E.

Aerosmith has announced that The Black Crowes, comprised of brothers Chris and Rich Robinson , will accompany them on tour. The Black Crowes released their first album in 15 years, "Happiness Bastards," on March 14.

Why did Aerosmith postpone their final tour?

Aerosmith first announced that they would be embarking on their final tour via video in May 2023. The tour began on Sept. 3 in Philadelphia.

Tyler suffered a vocal injury that included a fractured larynx and vocal cord damage.

In a Sept. 29 statement on Facebook , the band promised to honor tickets for new dates. “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world,” Tyler said.

“I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”

Now, the rescheduled farewell tour will start back up on Sept. 20 in Pennsylvania, celebrating Aerosmith's hits from over 50 years together as a band.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows. Ticket-holders will receive more information via email.

Tickets for the newly announced shows, both rescheduled and added performances, will go on sale on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. CST at  ticketmaster.com .
