The Forum is back!
They also offer a great tour of Japan that appeals to us much more than the Tauck ones. Meanwhile, we remain loyal to Tauck and have five tours booked with them going up to September 2020. Reading forums is a great way to learn, get ideas, read differing opinions and feeling you get to know the regular forum contributors. Happy travels everyone!

12 years ago. My wife and I, both Seniors, have been on seven Tauck Tours -- USA, Canada, and most recently, Ireland. We looked into Insight, Globus, and several other Tour Companies, but always stayed with Tauck. We were NEVER disappointed. The very best hotels , restaurants and sightseeing.

If US doctors tell the tour director she is not following US medical standards then doctors should be on call from tauck to discuss. 3. The level of quality tauck uses for medical personnel in third world countries is highly suspect

Tauck handled a difficult situation with incredible efficiency and integrity. While we didn't get to enjoy the Tauck accommodations for long, the boat and food were excellent. What was truly impressive is how they handled the trip when the river flooded, was ultimately closed, and they had to send us all home.

The biggest difference I have seen between Tauck Tours and the others, including Caravan was the hotels (location/stars 4&5 v. 3&4) and meal plans. Tauck's is superior even if a bit pricey. The only down side I have experienced is with a few of the office personnel when trying to book directly with Taucks.

1 year ago. We participated in a TAUCK tour in the New England states in October of this year. It was our first TAUCK experience. and we had heard that though TAUCK was expensive compared to other tour venues, that everything to include lodging and meals and tour guide support would be absolutely top notch and of the highest quality.

Experiences with Tauck trips? : r/travel
valeyard89. • 4 yr. ago. I know someone who takes a lot of Tauck tours. Their trips are way expensive and cater to an older/wealthy crowd (she is both). Normal dress would be business casual for the day and a bit dressier for nighttime. There are special bags for dress clothes (suit bag etc)/shoes and packing folders for dress shirts.

We've done 14 trips with Tauck and loved every one. Hotels are upscale, you'd pay a lot more for the same hotel making the res on your own. The meals are good, and you do get a choice of meals. All the guides and tours buses and great. We love Tauck I've tried Grand Circle and won't do that again.
