ITB Berlin 2024 kicked off on March 5, local time. Under the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, the China Pavilion was formed with the participation of 13 Chinese provinces and cities, including Beijing. The new image of "Hello Beijing" overseas culture and tourism promotion was also unveiled.

Established in 1966, ITB Berlin is the world's largest tourism trade fair. This year's event took place from March 5 to 7. Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with five inbound travel agents, including China International Travel Service Limited, Head Office (CITS), TUI China, China CYTS Tours, and Beijing Fengjing International Tourism, participated and showcased the new highlights of Beijing's tourism, which attracted travel agents from various countries for negotiations.

Among the items provided at the fair, the brochure on fresh discoveries in Beijing tourism, the leaflet on 144-hour visa-free transit, the pamphlet on Beijing's intangible cultural heritage, the booklet on Beijing's MICE tourism resources, the food appreciation named "Good Luck from Loong" by the Imperial Kitchen, and the demonstration of the Beijing Lord Rabbit Figurine named "Auspicious Rabbit" were incredibly well-received by visitors. The booth buzzed with a lively and engaging atmosphere as they enthusiastically interacted with each other.

The event witnessed close interactions between the participating companies and their global counterparts, with a view to expanding cooperation in inbound tourism in an all-round way. A number of media outlets, including Euronews, CGTN, and People's Daily Europe, conducted coverage at the Beijing booth, showcasing Beijing's tourism resources from various perspectives.

On March 6, local time, the Beijing delegation also hosted the "China Night" Beijing session at ITB Berlin.
