O ur company ZANTE WEDDINGS by TSILIVI TRAVEL is very proud to have introduced the first weddings on this romantic island. Our fantastic idea started in 1997, when a friend of mine asked, “How easy is it to get married in Zante?” My answer, of course, was “leave it up to me and I will sort everything out for you”. I must admit, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Going through all the bureaucratic red tape was always the highlight of my day. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Anita & David Braithwaite married June 29th, 1997 who helped us set foundations to this fantastic idea. We continue to coordinate over 200 weddings every summer.

Hello, My name is Frances Aktipis Tsiolis. I was born in Greece but raised in Chicago for 16 years, only to come back to my roots. I have been living in Zante since 1988, married with three kids. My husband was mayor of Tsilivi for the 4-year term.1998-2002 and now is one of the members of the local council. We are both very well known for our different activities and our fellow Zakynthians are fond of our great ideas. We try to help in any way we can. Myself, being raised in the States, knows how important a professional attitude is when it comes to business, but I have also inherited the local hospitality and warmth which helps to smooth out the fine lines.

Professionalism is needed when it comes to you knowing what you are paying for, no last minute extras. Having all orders go through with no hitches and coordinating over 20 people working together to make your fairytale story perfect is not an easy task.

Greeks are known for their “Greek maybe time”, well that doesn’t apply for us here. My mother-tongue being both English and Greek, helps immensely, so there are no miss-understandings on either side. Yes, of course, I get stressed, it comes with the territory. I love what I do and most of the times I consider it a hobby, so I will put in extra time and effort to make every detail count.

My satisfaction is seeing your smiles and how everyone is enjoying their evening. Of course, I will kick off my shoes and teach you how to Greek dance (local tradition), so your reception will be filled with different surprises.

As I am a person that doesn’t like to be in the limelight for too long, I will close my appraisal here. A sincere way of finding out who I am and what the Tsilivi Travel staff offers (as much as I would like to take all the credit, I do have a fabulous team that helps in making everything run clockwork) is to visit our testimonials page. When we first decided to get married abroad we had no idea what to expect and were really nervous about it but it was absolutely perfect in every way.

Frances and their team were so helpful throughout the process up to the wedding over email and even after when we had all sorts of questions, I don’t know how they manage it with so many weddings going on.

Usually when you get married you expect to see everything before the day but in this instance we really could only go by photos. But I promise you, if you choose to go with Zante Weddings for your wedding you will not be disappointed.They really don’t miss any details whatsoever.

The pre wedding meeting was so great and really put our minds at ease and the day itself was perfection. Cameo looked stunning with the perfect amount of decorations and Jade, our wedding coordinator was so lovely and really helped us to relax and enjoy our day and she really did a wonderful job keeping everyone happy. All of our guests were overwhelmed with how good it was.

Thank you so much for the best day of our lives. it was a day we will never forget. we received our DVD recently and its beautiful can’t watch it without crying (happy tears). “

Balcony Hotel Tsilivi

Located on a hilltop with direct access to the stunning beach of Tsilivi 20m below, Balcony Hotel offers an amazingly panoramic setting for your wedding day. OUR MINISTER

Dr. Joseph Lozovyy was born into a Christian family in Elektrostal, Moscow Region, and was raised in a pastor’s home. From the age of fifteen, he began actively participating in the music ministry of the Baptist Church in Mytishchi, where his father served as a pastor, and also played in the orchestra of the Central Moscow Baptist Church. From 1989, he participated in various evangelistic events in different cities of Moscow Region and beyond. From 1989 to 1992, as a member of the choir and orchestra “LOGOS,” he participated in evangelistic and charitable concerts, repeatedly performing on the stages of the Moscow State Conservatory, the Bolshoi Theatre, and other concert halls in Russia and abroad. In 1992, his family moved to the United States. In 2007, after completing a full course of spiritual and academic preparation, Joseph moved to Dallas, Texas, to engage in church ministry. In 2008, he founded the Russian Bible Church to preach to the Russian-speaking population living in Dallas, Texas.
