hi, i am currently looking at the crowd calendars to decide which parks to visit. I have been looking at the crowd calendar for both under cover tourist and touring plans and they do differ from each other. Just wondering from experience, which crowd calendar would me more accurate. I know these are only guides but can't decide which one to follow. Thanks in advance for anyone that can help.
I used under cover tourist last time I went and never had any major differances from what it said. But I haven't used the other one.
They are just guesses, go to whatever park you feel like on the day. If you go to the recommended park how do you know the others are crowded? lol
Thanks very much , I ll stick to the touring plans since I paid for that app, I've just started to think of my iteniary to think about booking fast passes.

I am looking at HS for April 19th. UT has it as a red day and TP has it has a best park?? Any idea why such a discrepancy?? Thanks
It looks like that is the Star Wars half weekend so maybe UT is expecting many being in HS to get in the Star Wars spirit. KtP also says it’s a good day to go if that helps your decision.
1971 Castle in the Hub: Your lights are on!
Gosh - currently I have tickets for MK that day and was going to see if I could exchange it for HS. I have my mom with a wheel chair and another limited walker. Thought - going to HS on a 3 day and not have to mess with a tram in the parking lot would just be easier. TP has HS as a 3 and MK as a 4 - I guess I am just getting really confused. Any thoughts on would might be the easier day ?? Thank you
Really a one point difference doesn’t mean much. KtP also has MK as a good day to go so it’s really boils down to what you want to do.
Would HS be easier ? Or is it just 50/50
It really comes down to what rides you want to ride and what you want to see. Right now there are mostly thrill rides and shows at HS and a wider variety of rides at MK.

Easier to get into the park - maybe not as busy - which I know is only a guess....I am just having a hard time deciding. I do think my niece would enjoy HS with the shows. Would not be doing any of the coasters. I had decided on this park until I saw UT as a red day - THanks

The Runners usually would head to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom... so that may be playing into the decision. However - I agree with above poster... being star wars themed - the thought would be there is a connection, but I don't think so.

On our last trip two weeks ago, TP had one day as a high crowd level at Epcot and the other crowd calendars said the crowds at Epcot would be low that day. So, we ignored TP and went with what the other sites recommended. It turned out that TP was right and it was a high crowd level at Epcot. But as always, YMMV.
Thanks all. Think I will stick with HS.

<font color=blue>it may be because they are too em.
In the past, runners don't go toward the MK in half marathons for Star Wars weekend. AK, HS, and Epcot are the areas. The route has been different each of the 2 years and 2018 has not been announced yet. We hit HS just before opening, then Epcot after it opened. Folks could enter each park, but would be delayed a few minutes as the runners pass. In terms of traffic, based on last year's route, the easier park to get to with less running traffic would be the Magic Kingdom.
Do people actually run through the parks ?? Sorry, I know nothing about the marathon.

Park Tickets through Undercover Tourist or Tripster
if i buy through park tickets through a third party and then need to add a day during the trip…i know i will pay for the additional day but would i also pay the difference between the third party price and Disney price? How does that work? Thanks!
No. You’ll only pay the difference between the VALUE of the two tickets, not the price paid for the tickets.
I purchased a 3-day ticket from undercover tourist and it was obviously cheaper than purchasing from Disney. We then decided to add on a day at the beginning of our trip and I was annoyed that I had already purchased the tickets and linked them to MDE and that my only option was to buy the additional ticket through Disney at their cost. I priced out what I thought would be an additional day and what a 4-day ticket would have cost me through UT and then called the ticketing line at Disney. The CM could see that I bought the tickets through a third party and crunched the numbers and it turned out the additional day was even cheaper than if I purchased a 4-day ticket through UT. I’m not sure how that happened, especially since the new starting day was 1/1/2020. So, somehow, they are able to calculate how an additional day would have cost you if you had purchased your tickets through a third-party and won’t charge you what Disney themselves would charge you.

First trip since 2018 and first time considering buying tickets from a reseller (past trips were all free dining packages booked direct with Disney) If price is equal, any pros/cons to booking with Boardwalk Ticketing vs Undercover Tourist? Also we already booked room + ticket through Disney and would have to cancel our tickets and re-do park reservations, but seems worth it to save $200 CAD ...
ds11. •. Undercover Tourist is WILDLY inaccurate. Yesterday they claimed it was 9/10. Touring Plans was 6/10, which is more correct. UT is probably just inflating numbers to cover themselves so people complain about them over predicting rather than under predicting. That's usually what people get in a fuss about.
Purchased our tickets from Undercover Tourist-they were available immediately (the site said it could take up to 48 hours). I went straight to the Disney Site and linked them, as well as making our park reservations. Everything worked great! Again, thanks to everyone for the advice-we saved a bunch.

Hey guys, does anyone actually know which crowd calendar is the most reliable for individual parks ? I am currently comparing undercover tourist and TP for 2-8 March and there are some pretty big differences. For example, UT tells me to pick HS and avoid MK on March 4th but TP tells me the exact opposite (HS CL 8 vs MK CL 6).

Disney's "predictions" were within 1 crowd level just over half of the time, while TouringPlans hit that same mark 75% of the time. It's also important to know that if we compare this to 2021 ...
