It'll hit cities in the UK and Europe from January through April next year.

Depeche Mode kicked off their 2023 ‘Memento Mori’ world tour in Sacramento, California back in March. They’re currently out on the road in Europe, with that stint due to wrap up next month. In September, the duo will begin an additional leg of dates across North America .
In a four-star review of the group’s recent London show , NME wrote: “What ultimately hits the hardest is the generosity of bangers and the graceful energy they arrive with.
“Look at that setlist: the bittersweet euphoria of ‘Everything Counts’, the furious stomp of ‘I Feel You’, a gnarly outing of ‘Wrong’, the Jacques Lu Cont dancey swagger of ‘A Pain That I’m Used To’, and that encore? ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ into ‘Never Let Me Down Again’ into ‘Personal Jesus’? Come on. We’re in sexy goth heaven. You feel spoiled as an audience member, and we’d be lucky if this good feeling and compulsion of Depeche Mode’s current purple streak continues for years to come.”

One of the most influential and highest-earning electronic acts in music history, Depeche Mode have enjoyed success for over 3 decades around the world.
Formed in the late 70’s in Essex, UK, the band transitioned from the early, ‘The Cure’ influenced work into synthesizer territory, inspired by the pioneering work of acts like ‘Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark’. The band settled on a name borrowed from a French fashion magazine and played their first gig in 1980 at their school.
The band began shopping their demo in the hope of securing a record deal, and after a verbal agreement with founder Daniel Miller, began an important partnership with fledgling label ‘Mute Records’. By their third single they had already appeared on Top of The Pops and landed a top 10 hit on the charts, all in the build up to their debut album ‘Speak & Spell’ which was released in 1981.
When founding member Vince Clark left later that year (going on to form Erasure amongst other things) the band held auditions and hired Alan Wilder who would go on to play a pivotal role as the band’s ‘Musical Director’ until his departure in the 90s.
By 1984 the band’s profile was building globally, first topping the charts in West Germany before packing out shows in the US. By the end of the 80s and moving into the 90s the band were an unstoppable global phenomenon with packed out stadium shows and platinum records.
Considered one of the most influential British acts of all the time, the band continue to release albums and with Mute records and pack shows all over.
Live reviews
The concert was amazing when it comes to the bands' performance. The guys are always amazing and I just love them! However, Eventimn really screwed up the whole organisation of the event. Since we were all informed beforehand, that no cash will be accepted as a method of payment inside the stadium, we had to buy tokens in advance. We waited 30 minutes in line for those, thank G we only bought 10 EUR worth of tokens and not more. Then we waited 1,5 hours in line for drinks in the pouring rain, while the band already started their performance. If we knew this would happenm we would have not bought the tokens in the first place and we could have enjoyed the whole concert, pouring rain or not. Also, until it was our turn in line, we learned that we could have paid cash as well which really pissed us off even more. The tokens were non-refundable so you either use them or throw your money away. But Depeche Mode was amazing, they even made us forget about the terrible weather conditions :) I just wish that we could have enjoyed the concert in full, without missing half of it dues to the poor organisation of Eventim.

Depeche Mode is one of the biggest electronic acts in the world and seeing them live is an incredible, unforgettable experience for any electronic music lover. They have enjoyed international success for over 3 decades now and continue to tour with as much passion and energy as when the act first started performing in the early 80s and when the band consisted of school kids. Depeche Mode is a group of talented, unstoppable show men with natural charisma and stage presence. Their wide catalogue of musical successes range from synth pop classics to more rockier, edgier sounds. The band played all their old favourites from the past decades as well as their newer music. Even without lead songwriter Vincent Clarke at the fore, Depeche Mode are still very much worth seeing live. Dave Gahan continues to astound on vocals whilst Martin Gore wows on a whole range of instruments, switching mid show from guitar to keyboards and joining in on vocals. Andy Fletcher makes up the last of the band on keyboards. The show was packed out with fans of all ages cheering along to the legendary band.
Hard to believe, but I've been going to DM shows for nearly thirty years, now (wasn't till I got to college that I found people who liked the music I liked *and* were willing to travel for live shows). As usual, DM put out a great effort - they definitely aren't still touring just because they need the money (they aren't just phoning it in).
That said, you can tell they've been at this for nearly three decades. As noted above, you could tell they were putting the effort into it, you can also tell that Father Time is a bastard. Gahan doesn't quite have the lyrical power he once did and Gore is starting to sound a bit reedy. That said, the errors in singing and playing let you know that they were actually on stage, belting it out and not relying on enhancements to the sound. The show was heavy on "the classics" (songs from the 85-95 period) - though they did rearrange most of them - mostly to good effect.
Expensive show (as everything at the Verizon Center - or whatever the hell it's called now - always seem to be), but generally worth it.

I had a great time at the Depeche Mode Concert. I enjoyed the whole concert experience. I loved every song, and the videos played in the background. The band has high energy. The concert was packed from the very young to the very old. What amazed me is how the very young knew all the lyrics to every song the band played. Any wild antics was from the fans. Some of the fans wore some very outlandish outfits. I think the band members like the style of their fans. There is lots of fan participation. You have to attend one concert to experience their talent and the excitement. You won't be sorry. I am so looking forward to the next concert. The concert goes by too fast and you wonder where the time went. The only bad thing was the concert wasn't long enough and had to end. I wanted the concert to go on forever.
I say please just try one concert. Once you attend one of their concerts, you will become a fan for life.
A good concert in general.
The best part was the hit parade from the "good old days" at the final half hour to fourty minutes.
Coming to the concert area there was a challange with the logistics taking a very long time with checking everybody before entering.
People where cuing for a very long time.
The Arena it self is and was very good, had a lot of conveniences and everything you need really.
They have the possibility to play with the roof covered or open and they had the roof on for the concert. At the end the temperature and atmosphere was high.
Depeche Mode is an established band with lots of fans so the concert was sold out and good, not perfect because it lost momentum and the audience had problems interacting with the new releases an latest songs.
We did not make it in time to see the opening act so I can't review that.
Worth seeing every time but not superb.
I would give it a 7 out of 10.
Absolute fantastic, we were FOS and close enough to see them Face to Face - i love that they arrange every Song a little different and so i discover more and more favorite Songs. Sound was brilliant and not to loud , stunning dance performance of Dave and we all love Martin taking the lead vocal sometimes. All over all they really support the feeling that they are bythemself full of Joy and Happiness - made us sing all the time - play my favorite Song 'A Pain i used to know' andd all what i want to hear - if i could wish one Song for the next concert it would be'The things you said' or 'Waiting for the Night' - anyhow 'never let me down (again) - is one of the heights of the Concert - you know this waving thing - with the arms ...will see them again.
22 years later after having been introduced to Depeche Mode, I find myself blessed and fortunate to have been able to attend this concert. This is literally one of my so called "Kick the Bucket Concerts" of all time, that I absolutely ,and without a doubt had to attend to! It was everything I thought it would be and much more! They sound the same even after so many years. It had been at least 16 years since I had been to the Cynthia Mitchell Woods Pavilion and the entire night was a blast! Good, sound quality, light show and the Lawn area does bring back fond memories of my previous times! If you all have never seen Depeche Mode live in concert, I recommend you! The venue and the experience will be memorable for years to come!
Depeche Mode - RheinEnergie Stadium - Cologne -
05.06.2017 - The show was great! Dave was in a great mood and his voice was perfect. Martin was emotional and perfect, as usual. The sound was good, but I also had a great place - in front of the sound check booth. After the bad experience from Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, I will always try to stay close to the sound guy :). The location was great, just a big problem with the toilets - not enough and they also closed part of them before the end of the show and that created a chaos. As usual, the parking and getting out of the area takes long time after the show - but I guess it is normal. A draft beer was 5 EUR, but also a glass of water. Overall, it was a great show!
Depeche Mode - Manchester Arena fri 17/11/17
First time I've seen Depeche Mode live. It won't be the last I hope. I remember them from way back when, early 80's I think, yes I'm old!! The band are amazing, sound great & look great. Dave never stops moving around the stage, wish I had half of his energy!! They performed a mix of songs but mostly new ones from SPIRIT the new album. If you haven't got it yet, why not? Go out and get it!! But then towards the end of the show out came the crowds old favourites, but still sounding fresh to this day, and there was a good old sing a long!
Yes I will definitely go to see them again in the future. Highly recommended.
