The show was fabulous!! Had such a great time!! Don and his band were awesome, highly recommend seeing them. Would gladly see him again. The songs brought me back as though it was the year they were just released and sounded just a good if not better!! Toward the end he invited everyone out of their seats to come up to the stage and the party was on, singing and dancing!! Such a great show, did not want it to end!!

What an excellent concert in great surroundings. The whole experience felt like an intimate experience in my own living room. The song choices were good and Don's voice was strong. Don talked a bit about his past and seemed at ease with his audience. At the end of the concert, don took time out to come back and meet his fans, signing autographs and posing for photos. Defo worth seeing him and hope he comes back soon

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! He is still incredible!! Such a GREAT voice and WOW what a guitar player!!! Played all my Eagles favs and some terrific new songs as well!! Looking forward to seeing him and his awesome band next time they're in town!! :)

Lovely intimate venue. We sat a few rows from the front but were close enough to see Don’s fantastic work on multiple guitars. He closed out after an hour and a half of solid music using his twin neck Gibson EDS 1275.

Don Felder was absolutely phenominal.He is still a beast on the guitar. Met him before show and got to hold the famous double neck guitar. Look me up on facebook..Gerald Ledford. Top notch band...GO SEE!!!

Saw him with Styx and REO in April, Tuscaloosa, AL. He rocked it. Now I'm going to see him in Montgomery AL I'm Oct 2 days before my Birthday, what a great gift to myself !

Don Felder is renowned as a former lead guitarist of The Eagles, one of the most popular and influential rock groups of our time. No matter how you look at it, this year is shaping up to be the Year of the Fingers — Don “Fingers” Felder, that is. Felder, a true American rock and roll guitar hero, is very much looking forward to building upon his rich legacy as one of the most innovative riff-generating songwriters of the modern rock era while continuing his growth as a featured touring and recording solo artist. Don’s discerning musical taste ultimately bore much great fruit in iconic, prime rock-era Eagles songs. Bear witness to how his matchless lead-guitar tone added extra fuel to “Already Gone,” “One of These Nights,” “Take It to the Limit,” and “New Kid in Town,” in addition to his co-writing “Victim of Love,” “Those Shoes,” and his most popular co-creation, “Hotel California,” which he recast in an entirely new way for the Eagles’ Hell Freezes Over in 1994.

Ruling the adult contemporary charts with its sunny, tropical pop sound in the 1970s, Pablo Cruise reached the top 10 with mega hits “Whatcha Gonna Do When She Says Goodbye?” and “Love Will Find A Way.”  After a long hiatus (over 25 years!), the band is back on tour – featuring three of the original founders: David Jenkins (guitar, vocals), Cory Lerios (keys, vocals) and Steve Price (drums, percussion), plus two new band members:  Larry Antonino (bass, vocals) and Robbie Wyckoff (vocals, percussion). To hear Pablo Cruise on record is one thing, but to experience the band live is an exhilarating event!

Firefall is the classic American country rock band that formed in Boulder, Colorado, in 1974. It was founded by Rick Roberts, former member of the Flying Burrito Brothers, and Jock Bartley, who had been Tommy Bolin's replacement in Zephyr. The band's biggest hit single, "You Are the Woman", peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard chart in 1976. Other hits included "Just Remember I Love You" (#11 in 1977), "Strange Way" (#11 in 1978), "Cinderella" (#34 in 1977), "Headed for a Fall" (#35 in 1980), and "Staying with It" (#37 in 1981).

FORMER-EAGLES GUITARIST DON FELDER ROLLS OUT NEW TOUR DATES

Former- Eagles guitarist Don Felder has rolled out a few new tour dates for 2021 — along with a 2022 appearance on the Rock Legends Cruise. Although the '21 dates are spread out, Felder will kick off the year on March 27th in Queen Creek, Arizona at Schnepf Farms, with his newly confirmed shows wrapping on October 15th in Henderson, Nevada at the Green Valley Ranch's Grand Events Center.

Don Felder told us that nearly two decades after being fired from the Eagles and suing his bandmates and manager, the tensions surrounding all the past and present bandmembers seems to have cooled to a comfortable temperature, resulting in the 2013 critically acclaimed History Of The Eagles documentary: “I think there's not a lot of bitterness or resentment left in a lot of those relationships in the band. I know they invited Randy Meisner and Bernie Leadon to be part of it as well, so that everyone that had been participating at some point in the career of the Eagles was represented, either in interviews or in existing, older footage. So, I know they tried to include everyone.”

DON FELDER concert review

Don Felder played the International Showroom at Westgate Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on Friday, March 3, 2023. As a lead guitarist in The Eagles during their heyday, Don Felder was one of the finest guitarists of his era, having contributed to and co-written many of their biggest hits. Despite this, the guitarist never quite seemed to get the popularity of some of his fellow Eagles, which is truly a shame given how talented a musician he is. Seeing that he’s still active since parting ways with the act he’s most famously associated with is fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised to see he’d be performing at Westgate, a venue with a gorgeous theater on which Elvis Presley famously performed in the latter years of his life. I’ve loved Felder’s guitar playing for years, but prior to this evening, had never seen him perform live. This fan was curious as to what the set would consist of. Would be those Eagles hits that Felder played on and performed live in that band’s heyday, obscure solo tunes and soundtrack contributions, or instrumental guitar music? And perhaps most importantly, would the performance be good?

The 17-track set consisted almost entirely of classic Eagles hits, with just three exceptions. The exceptions to this were a surprise cover of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Pride and Joy,” the new song “American Rock N Roll” (which surprisingly may have been my favorite performance of the evening!) and Felder’s classic early 80s soundtrack contribution, “Heavy Metal (Takin’ a Ride.)” As far as Eagles hits go, we got the expected tunes, including “Already Gone,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” and of course the title anthem to their 1976 opus, HOTEL CALIFORNIA. Another pleasant surprise was the inclusion of “Seven Bridges Road,” a song The Eagles covered on their 1980 EAGLES LIVE record, complete with all the necessary vocal harmonies. It was a solid “Greatest Hits Live” setlist of sorts, and just what I think most fans would want to hear. I personally would’ve liked to see another deep cut or two, “Visions” from the ONE OF THESE NIGHTS album comes to mind because it was the one Eagles song Felder did lead vocals on. But how did Mr. Felder SOUND? I’m happy to say that he didn’t disappoint in this live show. I wondered if he’d have a separate vocalist or tackle vocal duties himself; the latter was the case. The Eagles were an unusual band in that nearly all of the band members over the years took on lead vocal duties at some point or another; that means a single man taking on the vocal duties of songs in which the original records have a myriad of different singers is no easy task. Let me say first and foremost that Felder’s voice will never be mistake for that of the other Eagles; I don’t mean that in a good or a bad way, just saying it. His vocals were certainly competent and suited the material well, and perhaps most importantly, his guitar work was as solid as ever. Felder also took the time to give Glenn Frey a tribute of sorts before playing one of Frey’s compositions; this was a class act especially considering their turbulent history. Themed visuals on a video screen played throughout the gig, beautifully setting the scene without ever proving too distracting.

The backing band Felder assembled for his set supported him well enough, and I appreciate the fact that he actually took a pretty long portion of his set to introduce the musicians on stage who were supporting him, even mentioning the other acts that they’d played with. Felder also did something that more artists need to do – displaying this information on a video screen! I appreciate artists introducing their backing band members, however with all the concert noise going on, doing this verbally alone doesn’t really do the job that well in most cases. More artists need to follow Felder’s example here. The whole set was fantastic with covers of some great songs and a few slight surprises. Probably my only minor criticisms would be the lack of deep cuts and encores, despite there being plenty of songs that could’ve been utilized for these purposes. It’s also criminal to have Brian Tichy in your band and not allow him a drum solo, seeing as he may very well be the best drummer living in the world today, but again, these are minor flaws of an otherwise fantastic gig. Definitely check out Don’s gig if he comes to your city.
