My 8 days coach holiday with Gee Vee travel

The decor in this hotel is a little dated but is kept clean and tidy. The room I stayed in had an updated shower cubicle fitted and was very clean as was the rest of the bathroom. The meals were very good with plenty of choice both at breakfast and dinner, the waitress was excellent and very helpful as were the rest of the staff. The only improvement for me would be automatic bar cover for drinks when the barman has to leave to call bingo.

stayed at the Elliot for a 2nd time with Alfa coach holidays 3/6/18 for a 6 day hol my wife and I really enjoyed it .hotel is well run with very good staff very hard working. hotel is clean and our room had no problems at all . I've read some reviews re the food well I can only say my wife and I had no problem with it ,was always hot and cooked well and a good varied choice as well.read some reviews re the manager well I've stayed here twice in the last 4 years and I found him to be pleasant and helpful (( some people cannot be pleased )) on the nightly entertainment some acts were good and some well let's say don't give up your day job . as for the days out Eden project/ st Ives/Padstow all very very good plus the fact the weather was really sunny all week. always makes a holiday Newquay is also an ok place to visit nice harbour and the beaches are very nice if you are a surfer, although I am not .but be carefull where you go for a drink some places are very pricey the Griffin Inn and the steam room but try weather spoons they are all around the same area. lastly to Finish our Alfa driver David was a very good tour guide and very smart turnout a credit to Alfa. would my wife and I visit here again yes..........

The hotel was clean and the staff were really nice and friendly. We had the same waitress each night and by the end of the week at breakfast she would say usual and a simple yes would do.Entertainment was nightly not many turned up but they missed out on some good turns.

The Elliot Hotel is clean and the staff very friendly, they can't do enough for you. Very good holiday, and very enjoyable. We went with Alfa travel and everything about the whole experience was great. I would recommend this Hotel and Alfa travel to anybody.

We travelled to this hotel with Alfa travel last week and I have to say this is the best hotel we have stayed at. On our arrival the lovely manager, David got onto our coach to welcome us. We were checked into the hotel speedily and the room was lovely. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast every morning was delicious with plenty of choice. The evening meals were lovely too. I cannot fault this hotel at all and would definitely return. The reception staff were friendly and the dining room staff extremely efficient.

Hotel is very tired. You get disturbed a lot when your in your room by staff just letting themselves in. Bed not very comfy. Breakfast was ok. The lift was tiny and very slow. I won't be using hotel again. Manager not really interested in complaints.
