I have used this place several times when booking flights to Japan. The staff are friendly and very helpful, typical Japanese service. They offer the best value tickets I have come across and can offer advice on traveling around the country and place to visit. If you have any inclinations to visit Japan, I would give The Japan Travel Centre a try.

This is my second trip with travel…

This is my second trip with travel centre US. My first trip was to Iceland and we are traveling to easter island this November. This company is awesome, everything they promise they do. Pickup at the airport

Pickup at the airport, we not there.hard to reach the drivers , transportation. One hotel was terrible. It was under renovation per employees. Shower water smelled like sewer. Air conditioning blowing mist. This was not a 4 or 3 star hotel. The supervisor agreed with situation and he wanted us to write down the issues. The hotel employee at desk said we won’t refund your money. So they kept our 4 nights of stay we moved to another hotel.

Tokyo Japan: Legoland Discovery Centre Review

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is NOT LEGOLAND the Theme Park. We realised after visiting it that this is more suitable for younger kids (under 8 years old). Located , LEGOLAND Discovery Center is located in Deck’s Mall at the Odaiba area. .

We arrived early to avoid the queue. In good old Legoland fashion, there were many lego bricks and lego creations greeted us throughout our visit at the Discovery Center. After getting our tickets, we took the elevator to the second level to start our tour.

The Lego Factory Tour   was nice but hardly exciting. We moved in and went for a Ninjago Ride. No photography were allowed. Basically, it is a game ride where you shoot laser beams at evil while being transported from settings via your transport. 

The highlight of this visit were the LEGO creations of the Tokyo skyline and iconic landscapes. 

There are ongoing workshops that teach you how to build your own lego pieces but these were conducted in Japanese. So, we moved on. 

  LEGO 4D Cinema

We headed to the 4D Cinema to catch the show. It was like sitting through a wordless animation show. It was very tame and there was nothing to get excited about.  We exited the 4D Cinema to find LEGO Friends waiting for us. My daughter of course was excited about her Lego Friends.  What caught her attention was the karaoke set playing all her favourite songs from Lego Friends. There was also a Duplo City next to it.

My son lost interest quickly and left to more racier activities — building his own car at the  LEGO ® Racers: Build & Test  station. The Japanese kids are quite adept at this and you can even see many fathers jumping into action to help their sons build their cars. There are race tracks of assorted difficulties to test your vehicles, so it was quite fun for the boys. 

For the younger kids, there is also the  LEGO   Maze , the LEGO MINILAND ®  and the   Merlin’s Apprentice Ride ®.

Finally, we got to the Kingdom Quest Laser Ride ®   . My kids found it way too easy, so that was a bust too.

We decided to leave LEGOlandDiscovery Center as we found it too tame for our liking. The LEGO sets were also on the pricier side so we did not make any purchases. I did find a place where we got the same Lego sets at 20%  cheaper . (Will link up as soon as I can).

We didn’t get to visit any Legoland Discovery Centre in our last trip to Japan. We saw it in Osaka too, next to the Aquarium. Will try to bring the kids next time. Thanks for sharing 😀

Haha.. You got me at the Lego sumo wrestling! I wanted to go in when we were at Odaiba 2 years back, but we had Legoland Malaysia Annual Passes then and hubby said it was a waste of money when we could just go Legoland Malaysia. DIFFERENT WHAT…. Malaysia one didn’t have karaoke and, well, Lego sumo wrestlers.

Oh this is good sharing! My girls love LEGO, one place to add to our must go places if we go to Japan.

I agree with you. We went to Legoland Discovery Centre in Atlanta and it was suitable for the younger kids. And I felt that the older ones (more than 7 years of age) would tend to “bully” the younger ones when they dominate the lego building areas (the ones with big foam blocks) because they will hog all the blocks to build big structures.

Bella Markey is a 5 star agent and person…

Bella Markey has done an amazing job for me. She is very focused and efficient with a friendly and assured manner. I priced out doing my holiday myself and was pleasantly surprised that Flight Centre's $3200 package was actually $300 less than my own plan. My biggest savings came from adding Captains Pack Plus which gave me a 10% reduction in Travel cover. I will be using Flight Centre from now on as they take the stress out of planning holidays and will find the most economical way for this old guy to travel solo. Bella and I are already looking at a solo ski holiday in the near future. She is the agent I will use in the future as she looks to help her clients to get the best value while giving sound guidance.

Worst customer who never attend to customers call. Changed my flight 3 times and after spending $10000 for flight I have to pay $500 for seat selection which I already selected in my previous flights which has been changed.

I've booked travel from Perth to Uganda…

I've booked travel from Perth to Uganda online. I chose booking through Travel Centre and traveling South Africa Airways over a slightly more expensive Emirates direct booking. Flight times were fine. A month later I get an e-mail saying the airline has changed my flight. I later looked at this e-mail and at the very bottom is some text that says you must call to confirm the changes. Everytime I've booked flights with places like Air New Zealand if they adjust flight times they send you an update but they don't make you confirm. I call and they have to contact the airline to confirm the changes but the flights aren't available so they'll ask again. So they ask me to call back a few days later. I do but they need to confirm something else. Then they call back a couple weeks later from another Queensland number but doesn't work when I pickup. I get an e-mail so I call back. 2 calls later that day with multiple long waits we finally have confirmation. Each time the overseas call centre goes through the same information, and instead of telling me what's changed they read out all 6 flights there and back. It's very frustrating as a customer, if the airline makes changes to my flights then opt me in and then let me know so I can say if it doesn't work. I should have to opt in to the change. I'm going to book direct with airlines or use in person flight centre in the future if it's a complicated itinerary (open jaw etc)

I'm at my wit's end! It's been a whole year of pleading for assistance. Endless phone calls, ignored forms, and no-reply emails - and I'm still stuck in this mess. I need urgent help now! Great Service by Travel Consultant

Whale Shark Holiday

While we haven't been on our holiday yet, and that will be the real test of how good Flight Centre were, the actual booking was done really well. The Staff Member looked at several options, and found the one most suitable, time wise, for us. She had knowledge about flights and accommodation that we were unaware of, and also knew that we needed to book the Whale Shark tour with our trip to ensure that we actually got to do it!!! If we'd done this trip ourselves from home, we probably wouldn't have done this and may have missed out altogether!! We were very impressed at how easy she made things for us. Thank you. We are very much looking forward to our holiday in June this year.

Very smooth and helpful operation

I found this Company on instagram and straight away i was impressed how engaged they were without being pushy trying to make a sale. They listened to my wishes and gave lots of options. I appreciated that any request i had Ronan our advisor kept us in the loop and fulfilled all the tour requirements we wanted to take in Seville. Very smooth process, extremely responsive which was a plus for me and very friendly. I usually hate cold calls but once or twice when Ronan needed to call me, he was always very friendly, courteous and not intrusive at all. All in all it was a great experience using their services, i hope the trip will go as smoothly as the booking. Cant wait to book another trip through them. Thank you

I have had the pleasure of sorting flights out with Steve Carvalho. He has been incredibly patient, I had lots of questions! As I have never used this before. Everything was explained, and he managed to find a payment method flexible and affordable to me just right for what I needed for flights from South Africa. Quick responses to WhatsApp messages and reassurance through the whole process has been second to none. Without a doubt will be using this again in the future! Thank you so much for everything and all of your help! Steve also reassured that he was on hand whenever I need him. To answer questions and talk about anything in regards to the booking. My third booking with Kenny

My third booking with Kenny, and again very helpful and even managed to arrange for my friend to be located on the same flight etc... Always happy to answer my questions when I am unsure and put my mind at ease.. Myself, daughter and granddaughter had an amazing time in Venice, with a good location and access to public transport. I would highly recommend this company

I would highly recommend this company, my agent Luther arranged everything for my 6 destination trip from flights with Emirates, internal flights, transfers and trips. Everything ran like clockwork, even got in touch with me while I was away with excursion voucher updates. My package was put together by Luther at I believe a very reasonable price for going to Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Kuala lumpur and Bali. Hotels were amazing all bar 1 which Luther advised me to speak to reception about my issue, the hotel were accommodating and sorted the issue out. Travel center 10/10 quality service and thank you very much Luther.

Norman is amazing

I highly recommend this travel agency. I made an enquiry for our honeymoon and Norman got in touch very shortly after, explaining the next steps and requesting some details about what we are looking for. He sent us a quote for a honeymoon in Bali and we absolutely loved everything! The hotels, the activities and excursions, the locations, everything was flawless! He thought about everything and he made sure we will have an experience impossible to forget. He combined adventure with relaxation in perfect measure and all of it came with a very good price! I highly recommend this travel agency, and I extremely highly recommend Norman as a travel agent.

"Smile to Serve"

To whom it may concern. This morning around the time 8:30 /9 am I called up Travel Center and behold promptly the phone was was picked up by a cheerful young man, Harry Spencer. Harry displayed some very good manners, with politeness and cheerfulness, during our discussion he presented a good warmth and welcomig attitude, which I belive and I could sense, that he carried a smile on his face while our communication was going on. I must say his is subject knowledge was spot on, as he went along comminutating with me . He guided me well with much empathy and sympathy, although I was awaked a times. I am very grateful to Harry. I bought my ticket to Kerry Ireland, A happy Bunny and will have a great time at the wedding. Harry has also promised me he will keep an eye on my booking. That was very kind of Harry. I was served by Norman. I had previously called on Saturday, but there was noone in the office. I left a message. The next day Sunday, Norman called me back. He was very helpful in getting me the best travel deal for my needs. He was patient and truthful. He gave me alternatives to choose from. He is quite knowledgeable about airline travel.
