Welcome to Love the Journey Antiques, a quaint and charming antique store nestled in the heart of Rockland County – Tappan, NY. Our store is a treasure trove where history, art, and craftsmanship intertwine, offering a diverse array of antiques and vintage items waiting to be discovered.

My love for antiques goes way back to when I was a kid. My grandparents lived with me, and I couldn't help but be curious about all the cool old stuff they had lying around. My grandpa, he was quite the handyman, and he used to make all sorts of interesting kitchen gadgets like an old-school English muffin opener and this quirky thing for cooking eggs.

Now, fast forward about thirty years, and something pretty wild happened during my usual work routine. I stumbled upon a hidden treasure while doing my job - a tire buried under dirt and leaves. As I dug it up, I realized it wasn't just a tire; it was a super detailed model truck, maybe handcrafted by someones Grandfather. I carefully brought it home and made it my mission to restore it to its former glory while keeping its classic look intact.

As I put in the work to bring that vintage truck back to life, something special happened. I formed a deep bond with it, and that's what really sparked my love for collecting antiques. And guess what? That passion is still going strong today.

32 Products To Try If You Love To Travel But Hate The Journey

"It's not about the destination, it's about the journey" so you should at least make it a little enjoyable with a window beverage holder and a foot hammock.

1. An Airplane Pocket tray cover  because 1) those airplane pockets are so NOT elastic and all they can hold is a barf bag and 2) think about the germs from all the people who have been there before you. All you have to do is slip this over the tray in front of you and you'll be able to store your snacks, drinks (big plus), and even your laptop to make your flight as convenient as possible!

Check out a TikTok of the Airplane Pockets tray table cover in action.

Airplane Pockets is a small business that specializes in sanitary, portable travel organization products.

Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord had to say about it: "I used this on a roundtrip from NYC to Tokyo, both with connecting flights in Canada, and cannot sing its praises enough. It fit all four of the different tray tables I used it on and was so  ridiculously handy for keeping track of all my littler odds and ends like AirPods, the plane's headphones, earplugs, a sleep mask, a book, gum, a scrunchie, and little snacks.  The hanging end of it easily tucked into the built-in sleeve of the seat in front of me for takeoff and when other passengers needed to scoot past me in my aisle seat.  Usually, I feel like a hot mess and get frustrated rooting around in the grimy sleeve for my stuff, and this was such a refreshing solution!  Several flight attendants even asked where I got it to buy one for themselves!"

Get it from Amazon for $29.99.

2. Plus a patterned travel tray for kids  if your kiddo tends to be on the messier side or is accident prone (let's be real, what kid ISN'T). You can either lay the tray flat, fold up two corners and create a play area, or fold all four for all their snackies. Plus if you put up their table, there's a slot for their tablet to keep them entertained and you relaxed.

Promising review : "Absolutely love this for traveling with kids!!! We bought this for a recent trip with our daughter and it made snack time and playtime on the flight so much easier and mess-free . It’s sturdy, high-quality, and fits perfectly on the tray table and tablet. It’s also a nice extra layer of protection from germs when traveling. Our daughter loved the cute mermaid design too!" — Laura Knotts

Get it from Amazon for $26.95 (available in three prints).

3. A lightweight  backpack  that you could totally use as your personal item because it fits perfectly under any airplane seat. It has a wet section, shoe compartment, anti-theft zipper pocket, and a laptop sleeve. Oh, and here's the kicker, it's waterproof *AND* has a built-in charging port! Mary Poppins who?

A reviewer's beige backpack on top of their suitcase

You still need to connect a power bank to the inside to use the charging port but reviewers still love it because it's easily accessible!

Promising review: " I have sent the link for this bag to so many loved ones because it has changed the way I’ve traveled . I have always been the over packers having to pay excess weight fees on my luggage. Since using this bag I have been able to cut down to a carry-on and personal item most trips. Come the end of this year, my husband and I will have been on eight trips. This bag has been with us for half of them. I use it as my personal item and easily pack shoes, a large cosmetic bag, hair tools, clothes, a steamer, snacks, chargers, and other small items — it holds so much. The cream color is very stylish and it is easy to clean. I cannot explain enough how much I love it. I’ll be ordering my husband one in another color for our longer trips." — Mads

Get it from Amazon for $36.99+ (available in three styles, two sizes, and 42 colors).

4. A 3-in-1 foldable magnetic wireless charger  because rifling through your nicely packed bag to find multiple chargers kinda hurts your heart. This magnificent thing can juice up your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch at once and all you need is *ONE* cord — aka you won't have to fight over the outlets at the airport. Plus it folds up so easily, it'll barely take up any space in your bag!

Wireless charging station with a an apple watch, airpods case, and phone charging

Promising review: "This has been a total game changer for my charging routine! The foldable 3-in-1 design is not only incredibly convenient but also a space-saver – perfect for home or on-the-go charging. I mostly use it for travel . The magnetic feature ensures a secure connection with my iPhone, and the ability to charge multiple Apple devices simultaneously is a fantastic bonus. The sleek and compact design makes it an ideal travel companion, and the overall build quality is top-notch. If you're tired of dealing with tangled cords and want a hassle-free charging experience, this is a must-have gadget!" — Deven D. Chambers

Get it from Amazon for $33.99+  (available in six colors).

5. Or a compact  2-in-1 charger  that can charge up to three devices, including your laptop, so you'll be able to work in the terminal without having to search high and low for multiple outlets. But get this — it also doubles as a power bank so you'll never have a dead phone again!

beige charger charging three devices at once and model using it as a portable charger

It has two USB-C ports and one USB-A port.

Promising review : "I traveled for four weeks and this nice unit was perfect — charged everyone's iPhones during the day, and my iPad and my computer while taking the train for a few hours at a time. Other than it being a little heavy for all day carrying, it was a perfect unit to buy." — Julie

Get it from Amazon for $62.99+ (available in two styles).

6. A hands-free (rotating!) phone mount  because trying to catch up on the latest season of The Bachelor with your phone in one hand and trying to eat your pre-flight meal in the other is just an accident waiting to happen. This wonderful little gadget can mount to any flat surface (the arm of a chair, carry-ons, tray tables, etc.) and hold your device so you can watch and grub without looking like a professional juggler.

Perilogics  is a small business creating hyper-functional tool holsters and bags for carrying your stuff on the go.

Promising review : "I bought this nifty gadget about six months ago for a multi-leg, ultra long-haul trip and it more than held up the entire duration . I was able to finagle it to fit the tray tables on different planes and like others, I find the height just nice when clamped onto a stowed tray table . It also works on my roller carry-on handle during layovers." — Earendil

Get it from Amazon for $9.97+ (available in five colors).

7. An  AirFly  so you'll never have to deal with the internal battle of whether or not to buy those $6 headphones with horrendous sound quality. Just plug in this genius gadget into the headphone jack and connect your wireless earbuds to watch Crazy Rich Asians and ugly cry (maybe that's just me tho). Come on, JetBlue, it's 2024 and we need Bluetooth audio!!!

the small white device plugged into a screen on a plane via USB

Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping editor  Chelsea Stuart has to say about it: "Last year I splurged on some  AirPod Maxes  and for the amount of money I threw down on them, I was determined to get as much use out of them as possible and that included on plane rides.  With the AirFly Pro, I can connect my headphones via Bluetooth and use the seat-back screen without having to fiddle with the free wired headphones they hand  out that 1.) have horrible sound quality and 2.) don't fit my ears in the slightest. (I swear my ear canals are tiny or something??)"

Promising review : "I saw this on TikTok and bought it instantly for an upcoming trip. I wish I knew about this sooner so I could enjoy inflight entertainment without needed additional headphones. This allows for that, which is great. It works so well, my husband bought one as well. Highly recommend." — Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for  $34.99+  (available in four styles and two colors).

8. A set of  silicone "EarPlanes"  if you simply cannot deal with the ear pressure during landing, takeoff, and turbulence — and having it affect your entire trip. Just insert them right before takeoff and then reinsert them one hour before landing so you don't have to experience all that popping or clogging!

reviewer pic on an airplane with the earplugs in

Promising review: "This product has changed my life. I travel fairly frequently and always have issues with ear pressure on the plane. My ears will be clogged up, and it is painful to swallow for a day or two after short-distance flights. But now, I use these and fly incident-free. You are supposed to insert them before the plane takes off and then before landing. I have found that it works best if I leave them in the entire flight from before takeoff until landing, but they work almost as well if you take them out once you reach cruising altitude. " — Thomasina

Get a pack of one pair from Amazon for $8.84  (available in multipacks).

9. A  space-saving compression bag because the journey starts with packing and that's never fun, am I right? If you find yourself doing that whole "I need someone to sit on my suitcase so I can zip it" bit, I think this may just be your savior. Just stuff your clothes in one of these bags, seal it, roll it, and boom — all your outfits finally fit into one piece of luggage! And no vacuum or pump is needed — hooray!

A suitcase spilling over with clothes

Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping writer   Emma Lord  had to say about it: " HELLO, I AM OBSESSED WITH THESE. Despite all the rave reviews I was definitely skeptical of space-saving bags that didn't require a vacuum, and even as they were actively squishing my clothes into oblivion I still couldn't quite believe it. I had easily two suitcases worth of clothes I wanted to pack for a three-week trip to London, and I managed to neatly pack the entirety of my wardrobe in one roller carry-on bag. Truly all I had to do was put my clothes in the bag, push them to the bottom, and then sit on it to get the air out before sealing it up. I had tons of extra bags and make a habit of taking them with me in case other people joining me on trips need them to be able to pack souvenirs on the way home. I'm never taking a long trip without these again — these are worth every damn penny."

10. An ultra-supportive neck pillow  if you find yourself sleeping on a complete stranger's shoulder next to you way too often 😳. This will prevent your head from rolling down so you won't wake up with a crick in your neck or your drool on your neighbor's shirt.

Reviewer with grey Trtl pillow

Promising review:  "I am a terrible flyer who recently took the red-eye from Dubai to Chicago (15 hours).  The Trtl Pillow was a mini lifesaver! I was able to comfortably rest my head on the support and felt warm enough to actually doze off...a rare accomplishment for this skittish flyer.  The Velcro works wonderfully with regards to adjustment, and I liked wrapping the fabric around my mouth and nose. Sort of felt cozy...even if I did look like a ninja in a neck brace! Overall, this product has changed the way that I fly, and I am so thankful for this invention and the opportunity to support a small company with big ideas." — S.Viruly

Get it from Amazon for  $64.99+  (available in four colors and in a breathable style).

11. A luggage drink caddy  because you just had to get your coffee fix, even though boarding ends in five minutes. Instead of running to the gate with a latte in one hand, spilling everywhere, and your uncooperative luggage in the other, just slide this onto your suitcase handle and place your cup in the pocket. It comes with a pocket big enough for a tablet, two cup holders, and a slim slot in the back perfect for safely stowing away your passport!

caddy holding tumbler and passport

Promising review: "This cup holder is perfect! It helps me a lot! Last time I took a plane with a suitcase and a cup of coffee, when it’s my turn to check my passport and ticket, the coffee cup fell to the ground and coffee sprinkled. It was a nightmare! This time I bought this cup holder, it did do me a favor! I don't have to worry about where my cup and phone are! I can free my hands to do other things. I love it so much! Hope you love it too." — Philip

Get it from Amazon for $9.99+  (available in 26 colors).

12. Plus an  attachable luggage table  so you can keep working (because the grind never stops) even though every single seat in the terminal is taken — it's like a makeshift standing table!

Model propping a laptop on a square black tray fitted on the top of their suitcase handle

Promising review : "Ingenious. How many times I have been an an airport with nothing to balance anything on, whether it be computer or coffee? So I have to hand it to the inventor that they have accomplished something truly useful. I really appreciate the ingenuity." — Anahata

Get it from Amazon for $39.95 .

13. A pair of breathable  high-waisted leggings  that'll be part of your go-to airport 'fit because you'll be so comfy cozy. They'll keep you warm on those freezing flights but are also breathable so you won't overheat. Plus they have a hidden pocket in the waistband so you can tuck away your small, important items.

Reviewer showing how the black leggings look on them from the front

Oh, and they're also moisture-wicking and fleece-lined!

Promising review: "I bought this pair of leggings initially so I could have something warm and comfortable to wear while working at home that wasn't just a pair of sweatpants —  they ended up becoming a staple of my workout wardrobe too! I ended up getting two more pairs in the no-pocket style so I can cycle through them during the week for my outdoor walks/runs. Fit-wise, if you're not looking for something super-snug, I'd suggest going a size up. The legs are a little long on me, but I'm short (5'1") and I'm used to things being a little long on me. My only gripe about these is that the side pocket isn't anywhere near big enough to hold my phone, but I've got a huge phone, so I'm used to it not fitting in pockets easily. Long story short: I love these, and if you're looking for warm leggings, either for working out or for lounging around the house, you should get a pair of these ." — Beth Lynn Nolen

Get it from Amazon for $32.99+ (available in women's sizes XS–3XL, in 21 colors, and in three different pocket options).

14. A stuffable travel luggage pillow  because you refuse to pay that hefty carry-on fee — so fair, bestie. You can just shove your clothes into this, um, bag? pillow? both? and use it as a neck pillow so you can use your personal bag for other things. We love a loophole.

A pile of clothes on the floor next to a black unzipped tube

Tube is a small business that specializes in uniquely-designed storage travel pillows.

Promising review: "I bought this looking to both save space and gain comfort for those long airplane rides. I was pleasantly surprised that they worked so well and fit so much into them while not sacrificing baggage space. I could fit at least a full day's worth of clothes in it. Also works well if you have one of those backpacks with the attachment clip and loop system as you can use this as a strap to avoid purchasing another carry-on bag from airlines." — Victor Tolentino

Get it from Amazon for $34.96 .

15. A memory foam contoured sleep mask  if you want to get some rest but your neighbor insists on keeping the overhead light on *bombastic side eye* 👀. Plus your lashes will stay ~on fleek~, thanks to the crevices molded perfectly for your eyes.

reviewer wearing black sleep mask

Check it out in this TikTok .

Promising reviews : " The BEST BEST BEST and most comfortable sleep mask I’ve found.  Night shifter for years, and have tried everything. Many other sleep masks have some qualities but not all. This one is AMAZINGLY SOFT, VERY THICK, plush, high quality material, quality stitching that won’t come apart like so many others that are cheaply made, and it’s EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE even though it’s a good price. Very impressed and pleasantly surprised." — Amazon Customer

"I loved it so much, I bought a second for my boyfriend! We both travel so much that sometimes you end up in a hotel room where the blinds still let in light, and this blocks it out without compressing your eyelids where it feels like you’re being forced to keep them shut. I love that the compression contours around your eye so that you can open your eyes without feeling like you’re restricted. I love it so much I sleep with it at home now and I never travel without it! " — Jordann

Get it from Amazon for $21.99+  (available in seven colors).

16. A window seat BevLedge  because that tiny, shallow crevice on the tray table made specifically for cups does nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This nifty thing will *actually* prevent your drinks from spilling and all you have to do is slide it onto the plane window — make economy a little more business.

window drink holder holding phone two drinks and glasses

BevLedge is a small business that specializes in travel accessories.

Promising review: "A friend recommended this to me as a vital travel companion, now that I've returned to frequent flying. I initially thought of it as a novelty, but now that I've used it, it's a necessity. It keeps the workspace clear for my laptop, but it also organizes all the little pieces that can become so annoying to keep up with — glasses, earphones, etc. It got my seat mate's immediate attention, as well as a few other folks nearby. I suspect they'll have one soon. Watch for one soon in a window near you!" — Timothy G. Wolfe

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 .

17. An inflatable wedge pillow  so you can take a little nap at the terminal because your family insisted on getting to the airport five hours early *rolls eyes*.  Just slide your arms through the bottom and rest your head on top, AND you can use it on the airplane tray during the flight!

pic of reviewer using same pillow to catch up on sleep while waiting in an airport lounge

Can't sleep while traveling? No worries, because this gem also doubles up as a back rest *and* seat cushion for optimal comfort.

Promising reviews:  "Just received this and so far so good! Inflates within mere seconds and the same to deflate. Seems really supportive and comfortable. I was influenced by a TikTok review so I’m assuming it’ll be a gem on flights! " — Katelyn

"Used this on four international flights last month, and it made all the difference in the world. It's compact, quick and easy to inflate/deflate, very versatile in how you can position it, and it doesn't rely on the tray table. I can very comfortably lean forward in my seat and sleep almost like I can in a bed. " — Still Chilly in Colorado

Get it from Amazon for $24.99 .

18. Or an  inflatable footrest  to properly put your feet up instead of trying to fold your entire leg to fit on your seat. Reviewers say that it's super easy to inflate and deflate — especially without a pump, slaaaay. You can adjust it between three heights to whatever feels comfy for you and you can use it on planes and in cars.

A reviewer using the inflatable footrest on their flight

It comes with a drawstring storage bag, an eye mask, earplugs, and dust cover!

Promising review: "I didn't buy this for the longest time thinking inflation would be annoying or it'd be too bulky —  I finally ordered it and love it. It's very easy to inflate since it has the two inflation methods. Folds up smaller than our travel pillows. It's great for travel in car and planes, and our kid likes sitting on it at home too. Recommended." — D

Get it from Amazon for $22.49+  (available in four colors).

19. A car backseat organizer  that you can just hook onto the back of the headrest and give your passengers, aka your kiddos, a deluxe experience — they better give you a 5-star rating! This will hold their snacks, drinks, and toys instead of all that being piled on the floor.

A small black organizer hooked onto the back of a headrest with space for a drink and other accessories

Plus, there are a few hooks at the bottom to hold bags!

Promising review: "These are worth their weight in gold when you’re traveling with kids and pets! They are sturdy and well made, very simple to use and install, and to take out for cleaning if you have an inevitable spill. They keep everything neat and out of reach of the dogs. They are an attractive design that looks nice as well — they don’t look cheap. Everyone’s drinks and snacks stay nice and stable even on curvy back roads. We are all very pleased with how well these work for us!" — Melissa

Get it from Amazon for $19.99  (also available in a two-pack).

20. A Kindle Paperwhite  for all you bookworms out there who love to read on flights, roadtrips, and any other mode of transportation. You'll no longer have to fill your bag with all the books you're planning on reading because you can store 'em all on here!

reviewer holding the kindle with page one chapter one of a book on the screen

Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping editor Samantha Wieder has to say about it: "I did it. I caved on October Prime Day and bought myself this Kindle Paperwhite, and boy am I glad I did. For starters, I always thought of myself as someone who preferred physical books over e-books. There's just something SO exciting to me about unboxing a book order or walking into a book store and spending way too much money. I even spent two years creating a rainbow library on my bookshelf in my apartment. BUT! After taking two vacations this year and realizing how annoying it is to pack physical books and moving somewhere that requires a long train ride to get to the city (aka increased boredom), I decided to just get myself a Kindle. For starters, I'm reading more on this Kindle in the past month than I have all year. It is incredibly lightweight (it fits into my small little BELT BAG WITH ROOM TO SPARE!!!), easy to use, and not to mention, a really great investment! I have three free months of  Kindle Unlimited , which means access to tons of great books for free, but the best is Libby! I just go on the Libby app from my phone, choose a Kindle book to check out through my local library, and boom, it's instantly delivered to my Amazon account to add to my Kindle library. It's safe to say I'm obsessed."

Get it from Amazon for $149.99+ (available in two storage sizes, three colors, and with or without lockscreen ads).

21. A freezable snack box  because your tot will only eat the PB&Js that you make and NOTHING ELSE. Just pop the bag into the freezer overnight and it'll keep your food cold for hours — without needing an ice pack!

reviewer photo of the pack it snack bag

This is a great solution for storing breast milk and keeping it cold! If you have to pump during your flight and don't want milk to go to waste, this pouch will come in handy!

Promising review: "Recently used this to travel on a flight where no meal was to be served. Followed instructions for freezing before using. I packed some ham, cheese sticks, and mayo packets. Everything was kept remarkably cold. Can't wait to use this again." — TexasGal

Get it from Amazon for $17.99  (available in 13 colors and prints).

22. Or a  large cooler bag  that's perfect for roadtrips if you're the type of person that lives by the "we have food at home" code. You'll be able to pack full on meals so when you pass by a McDonald's and your kids (or spouse) ask to make a detour, you can say "no, we have food in the car."

reviewer photo of the black cooler bag

Psst...it also has a sleeve that you can slide over any suitcase handle!

Promising review: "I use this bag for work all the time and LOVE it. I’m a flight attendant, so I pack for several days at a time. It gives plenty of space for all the food I need for three days, plus room for ice. The top dry storage is very spacious and fits all sorts of stuff. I love the removable lining, makes it very easy to wash. I’ve never had the bag leak. It keeps the ice cold easily overnight and throughout the day. Mix this bag with the Hot Logic Mini and you’ve got the perfect kit for all your meals." — Lindy

Get it from Amazon for $64.85 .

23. A cup catcher  so whenever your bb feels like throwing a cup, milk doesn't end up splattering everywhere on your car's interior. Just attach it to their car seat or stroller so the next time their impulses take over you'll be like "uh-uh, you won't get me this time, sweetie."

Get it from Amazon for $11.99+ (available in seven colors and multipacks).

24. An ultra cozy  hoodie  that has everything you need to be comfortable, seriously. It has a built-in eye mask (absolutely genius), a large kangaroo pocket for all your snacks, and the softest material ever. Just whip out the hood, cover your peepers, and you'll be sleeping in no time.

Pond Los Angeles is an Asian woman-owned small biz that sells luxury travel products!

Promising review: "I fly a lot and am constantly trying to find a hoodie with a big hood to cover my eyes so I can catch up on some beauty sleep on flights. I saw this product on Instagram and knew it would be a game changer. I was able to use it recently for the first time on an early morning flight, and let me tell you, it is EVERYTHING I was looking for and more. It’s comfy, cozy, oversized, and the eye covers make you feel like you’re in a whole other world and not packed like a sardine on a plane. My over-ear headphone fit perfectly under it and I got the best sleep I’ve had on a plane — EVER! Like other reviews have said, it is big, so size down if you want something a little more snug. I have been wearing it every day at home and can’t wait to get the black and blush ones!" — Heather G.

Get it from Pond Los Angeles for $79+  (originally $128; available in women's sizes XS–XXL and five colors).

25. An  acupressure anti-nausea wristband  to help you deal with motion sickness on boats, planes, or cars. Just slip 'em on to your wrists and the lil plastic button will press down on your P6 acupressure point, which is said to help reduce nausea. There will be no barfing here!

Promising review: "These really work! I was skeptical, but they make a really big difference! I suddenly found myself getting really motion-sick on airplanes. Not wanting to medicate myself and be drowsy, I tried these and they work fabulously! No motion sickness, and I actually felt much more calm because the pressure point is also an anti-anxiety pressure point. I won't travel without these!" — Paws

Promising review: "Game changer. I bought these to wear on the plane. Usually when I fly my ankles are swollen for days. These socks kept swelling to a minimum. So glad I bought them." — MeganLucey

27. A set of splurge-worthy  Bose noise-canceling headphones  because as cute as babies are, their crying sure isn't — especially when you're on a red eye or woke up at an ungodly hour. Just put these on, blast your fave tunes, and put yourself on DND.

The white headphones folded into their case

If you wanna catch some shuteye, use quiet mode to completely block out any surrounding noise. It also comes with aware mode so you can hear everything going on around you *and* your fave tunes. The third mode, immersion mode, gives you spatial audio so you can feel like you're at the Guts World Tour.

Promising review: " These headphones are a game hanger. As an avid music enthusiast, frequent traveler, and love of movies in a loud and busy household, these headphones have improved my audio experiences in ways I never knew were possible.  First and foremost, the noise cancellation is unparalleled. The moment you put these on, the outside world fades away. However, it still offers the ability to be aware of your surroundings when needed without stopping your audio.  If you are traveling you don't need to worry about the headphones going out on you, because the battery life is incredible. As with all Bose products the craftmanship and quality is top-notch. I have been hesitant to purchase Bose headphones in the past because I just didn't think that I would be able to tell enough of a difference. I was wrong. I am beyond excited to have these headphones, and it has added so much to my entertainment enjoyment. " — P.O.

Get them from Amazon for $429  (available in three colors).

28. A waterproof car seat cover  so the next time your furry friend decides to hop in every single puddle possible, your car seats stay mud and dirt-free.

Reviewer's dog in black cover zipped up to hammock style

You can use it hammock style or car bench style. It also has nonslip backing, adjustable headrest anchors, seat anchors, trunk cargo liner, and two seatbelts openings to keep your pup in place.

Promising review: " This thing is a lifesaver! I hike a lot with my dogs and they love swimming and tromping through all terrains. They are also quick to roll in anything they can find —dead or digested— and this cover has SAVED MY CAR. It is waterproof and easy to clean. It is even easier to install . I loved it so much I bought a second and a third for my sister’s and mom’s cars. I have had other backseat covers before, but they were thin and came in cheesy prints. This one is black, which matches my car’s interior, and is nicely quilted. I would rate this 100 stars if I could." — Katie G.

Get it from Amazon for $29.69+ (available in two sizes and seven colors).

29. And a  dog zipline  to make your road trips as chaos-free as possible. It'll keep your doggo in the backseat to prevent them from jumping onto your lap when you're focused on the road. Don't worry, they'll still be able to move around in the back!

Reviewer's Dalmatian attached to zipline

This zipline works for dogs of all sizes and easily adjusts to fit most cars!

Promising reviews: " This is a lifesaver . My dog jumped out of the window while the car was moving and this is the only thing that kept him attached and not able to fully jump out." — Taylor

"I loved how my little dog could move left to right to see out either window without harm to himself. I also feel very confident with his safety back there if there is a sudden stop. He really enjoys his ride and I feel great that he is protected. I highly recommend this zipline." — Velma Jones

Get it from Amazon for $17.95 .

30. A pouch of  travel game cards  that'll keep your young ones (and old ones) busy so you won't have to hear the never-ending questions of "are we there yet?"

The Travel Games set, including dry-erase boards, markers, and a carrying case

It comes with six different activity boards, two dry erase markers, and a storage pouch!

Jonley Gifts is a family-owned small biz based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that sells personalized gifts, shirts, and home decor.

Promising review: "So adorable! Out of several similar travel game options, my kids liked this one best. The quality is amazing for the price." — Samantha Grace

Get it from Jonley Gifts on Etsy for $27 .

31. A super handy  luggage scale  so you'll never have to experience the pain of shelling out money for the overweight fee because your suitcase was a few pounds too heavy *cries*.  Just hook this onto the handle of your luggage and lift it for an accurate reading.

Reviewer holding the weight displaying their luggage's weight

Promising reviews: "I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who travels, especially internationally, because of all the extra costs for going over in weight. We were among the few people in line who didn’t need to rearrange our luggage at the airport to meet the weight requirements in Milan . So easy to pack and take with you." — Addison

"This little device was well worth the money spent. It saved us a lot of money on our flight home since we knew the weight was over and could pre-purchase the overage in the app instead of paying double at the airport. I’ll never travel without it!! Very easy to use." — Michael Ellis

Get it from Amazon for $8.99+  (available in four colors and also as a two-pack).

32. An in-flight  foot hammock  because as much as we want to be in first class * sighs*,  it's just not in our budget, but this is! This will give your economy seat a little more pizzazz because you'll be able to rest your feet instead of awkwardly trying to place them around your personal bag — the struggle is real.

A reviewer using the hammock during a flight

Promising review: " I will never fly again without this. I've recommended it to everyone. East coast USA to Southeast Asia, 24 hours in long haul flights each way with serious low back pain condition to start. But being able to hang my legs, even in a sideways position, saved me from hours of pain that I have endured previously flying with economy leg room. So easy to loop over tray table brackets in both the stowed and open position. This is a must have for any flight." — Kindle Customer

Get it from Amazon for $14.99  (also available in multipacks).

Costco's 'Hands-Down Best' Bakery Item Is Back

Chocolate lovers, this one’s for you.

love the journey items

Do you have a favorite Costco bakery item? Maybe it’s the almond florentines with chocolate drizzle , the 4.5-pound peanut butter pie , or the tuxedo chocolate mousse cake . It would be tough to push your cart through the warehouse store’s bakery and not stumble upon something you love. But the things that you love aren’t always there.

Costco rotates many of its bakery items, offering them seasonally. We understand why it carries items such as pumpkin pie or pecan pie at certain times because those pies are associated with holidays. But why does it remove other items, like that colossal peanut butter pie, from time to time only to have it return months later?

It could simply be a logistical issue. There are so many tasty Costco bakery items that the department simply doesn’t have the kitchen resources or the refrigerator and shelf space to offer every single one at the same time. It could also be a marketing initiative to create demand by manufacturing scarcity.

Whatever the reason, fans get very excited when a favorite returns after being off the shelf for a while. For example, a fan-favorite mini cake—that was on Costco’s shelves last fall but disappeared at some point—is back.

Chocolate All American Mini Cakes with Fudge Icing Are Back

Instagram's Costcohotfinds spotted the Chocolate All American Mini Cakes—which she says are her "weakness"—at a location in Nashville. She calls them the most "decadent, delicious" cakes. When she cuts one open, revealing a rich chocolate cake that looks abundantly moist and topped with glistening fudge icing and large chocolate shavings, it's tough not to believe her.

The mini cakes, which come six to a pack for $8.99 (which, by the way, is the same price they were last fall), are 3 1/2 inches in diameter. We’ve done the math on these mini cakes before —each mini cake weighs half a pound and is about two to three times larger than the size of a regular cupcake.

“These are great and big enough to share!” commented one person. Others called them “sooo good,” “amazing,” and “soooo decadent.” Perhaps the best compliment was this: “The best item in the bakery hands down!”

That certainly makes it tempting to run to Costco to snag a pack, doesn’t it?

Wisconsin man accused of killing, dismembering woman while on a date

Authorities relied on text messages, witnesses, security video and phone-tracking data to build a case against a man accused of killing and dismembering a Milwaukee woman with whom he was on a date, court records show.

Maxwell Anderson, 33, also of Milwaukee, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and arson in the slaying of Sade Robinson, 19. The two went on a date April 1, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said in a criminal complaint filed last week.

Sade Robinson.

A severed leg found the next day has been preliminary identified as belonging to Robinson, the complaint says. The right leg with painted toes was found near a 100-foot bluff by the water's edge in Warnimont Park.

A woman who identified herself as Robinson’s grandmother said Wednesday afternoon that she was too distraught to talk about the teenager. No one else with Robinson’s family could be reached for comment.

Anderson remains at the Milwaukee County Jail in lieu of $5 million bail, according to jail and court records. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday.

Anderson’s lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment Wednesday afternoon. His relatives also could not be reached.

'The toes on the feet had pink nail polish'

According to the complaint, someone reported finding the leg around 5:30 p.m. April 2.

"The leg was severed just below the hip socket and appeared to have been sawn off. The toes on the feet had pink nail polish. The leg did not appear to be decomposing," the complaint says.

One of Robinson’s friends went to Milwaukee police that evening to report that Robinson was not her on phone and did not show up at work. The friend said Robinson’s last known activity was a post on Snapchat the previous night about how she was at a bar, according to the complaint.

The city’s fire department found Robinson’s 2020 Honda Civic the morning of April 2, with heavy interior damage from a fire, the complaint alleges.

Four days later, on April 6, Milwaukee police found a human foot adjacent to train tracks and human flesh in the same area where the car had been discovered. The foot and the right leg found days earlier appeared to belong to the same person because of skin tone, size and "having matching pink nail polish," the complaint said.

'Yes I love seafood'

Investigators also focused on forensic data before Anderson was charged. Evidence included text messages Robinson and Anderson exchanged on April 1.

Using those texts, along with tracking data from Robinson’s phone, investigators pieced together a timeline of what they believe were her final hours.

In text messages, Robinson and Anderson discussed meeting at a seafood restaurant where Anderson used to work. Robinson responded, "Yes I love seafood," the complaint said.

Video from the restaurant showed the pair eating and talking for about an hour before they moved to a bar, officials said. According to the complaint, video from the bar shows Robinson exiting her car while Anderson leaves from the passenger side.

They remained at the bar until about 9:20 p.m., when data from Robinson's phone placed her near Anderson's residence, the complaint says. Her phone remained in that area until about 12:45 a.m., officials said.

Investigators used a location-sharing app on the victim's phone to track its whereabouts for the next four hours, until the battery died.

Robinson's phone appeared to be in the park where the severed leg was found from around 3 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. April 2, the complaint says.

Videos, a car ablaze and bloody bedding

In addition to witnesses, text messages and the phone-tracking data, investigators also collected other video.

Video from the area near where the severed leg was found shows a "human figure" descending the bluff toward the beach just after 3 a.m., the complaint says.

Hours later, around 7:30 a.m., video from a bus and a convenience store captured a man walking away from a burning vehicle, officials said. A witness walking by the area told investigators she saw a man get out of Robinson's car from the driver's side and toss a lit lighter inside, according to the complaint.

Anderson was allegedly seen soon after he boarded another bus heading in the direction of his home, the complaint says. The man on the second bus was wearing the exact clothing and backpack as the man seen walking away from the car fire, officials said.

Anderson was arrested during a traffic stop on April 4. A search of his car turned up a hooded coat that appeared to be the same one he wore on the bus, the complaint alleges.

Officials say they collected evidence during a search of Anderson’s home.

“[B]lood was located on bedding in one of the bedrooms and on the walls leading towards the basement. Several gasoline containers were located in the garage/storage area,” the complaint reads.

Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball thanked her detectives and Milwaukee police in a statement for their work on the case.

“With little rest and a great deal of pressure, they have remained focused and relentless, 24-hours a day. Their efforts to carefully build this case with a host of other partners to locate and tie together evidence, will go a long way towards bringing justice and, hopefully, peace to the family and loved ones of Sade Robinson.”

If he is convicted on the homicide charge, Anderson could be sentenced to life in prison, according to the criminal complaint.

Giancarlo Esposito says being human ‘deepened’ his relationship with his four daughters

Acclaimed actor Giancarlo Esposito opened up about how his fatherhood journey has evolved through vulnerability.

Fatherhood for Giancarlo Esposito, beloved actor and father of four adult daughters, looks different these days.

During an appearance on “ The Jennifer Hudson Show ” on Tuesday, “The Gentleman” star said his journey as a father has evolved over the years — especially as his daughters Kale, Ruby, Shayne, and Syrlucia, whom he shares with ex-wife Joy McManigal, are now all in their 20s.

“I realized that I was still looking at them as if they were three, four or five years old,” he said. “And I started to listen to who they really are. And I would always tell them to ask for what [they] want in life. And then I had to realize that they’re asking me to be present for them.”

In embracing the ways his girls have grown up, Esposito has also come to realize he can be more human around them.

“Sometimes we shield our children from who we’ve been,” he explained.

He added, “We change as human beings from day to day and from year to year, and hopefully we grow. If we have shame surrounding any part of who we have been and don’t want to talk about it, then that’s a little bit of a problem because you’re still wearing a mask, and you’re still hiding.”

In fact, the “Breaking Bad” actor said, dropping the mask and showing his daughters his vulnerability has “deepened” their relationship.

“I have a great relationship with my four daughters. I always have,” he said. “But now it’s deepening because I’m not afraid to show them who I really am.”

This latest appearance comes days after the actor revealed a bit of his human side to the public. While appearing on Sirius XM’s “Jim & Sam Show ,” Esposito revealed that before he landed his breakout role as Gus Fring on “Breaking Bad,” severe financial struggles led him to dark thoughts — including orchestrating his own death by hire. He had hoped if his death looked like a murder his daughters would reap the financial benefits of his life insurance.

While Hudson praised Esposito for his fatherhood journey during his appearance on her show, he admitted he couldn’t take all of the credit.

“I would say I’m a single dad but I’m not really because they have a great Mama Joy,” he said.

He noted how she’s shown up for them over the years and added, “In so many ways we raised them together, but I say she’s put in the time.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt Shares First Public Pictures of Her 3 Kids' Faces on Inheriting Magic Memoir Cover

The actress shares her three children with husband Brian Hallisay

Chelsea Guglielmino/WireImage; BenBella Books

Jennifer Love Hewitt shared the first public photo of her children 's faces in the most magical way possible!

The 9-1-1 actress, 45, shares a daughter and two sons with her husband, fellow actor Brian Hallisay . However, the couple never publicly posted pictures of their kids' faces until Wednesday, April 17.

“Here it is! My new baby!” Hewitt captioned an Instagram post while announcing her new book.

The memoir, titled Inheriting Magic: My Journey Through Grief, Joy, Celebration, and Making Every Day Magical , was illustrated by Vanessa Rivera, according to the actress.

On the cover, the I Know What You Did Last Summer alum sits front and center as she poses with a magic wand and a book of spells as her children — Autumn James, 10, Atticus James, 8, and Aidan James, 2 — gather around.

BenBella Books

“I can’t believe how lucky I was to get her for this book! Moms who create magic are special!” Hewitt’s caption continued, adding, “Can’t wait for you guys to read it!”

She also spoke exclusively to E! News about the heartfelt project.

"It was the most stressful decision to show our kids or not show them," she told the outlet in an interview published Wednesday. "But my husband and I felt like we couldn't really tell our story without knowing who they are and how they have made our lives so full and magical."

"My kids also saved me in grief," she added. "They are gifts from my mom and have filled our hearts in such an incredible way. This book is for them!"

Jennifer Love Hewitt Instagram

Hewitt’s book will also discuss her mother Patricia Hewitt, who died in 2012 .

"I felt healed enough from losing my mom to finally be able to write about it," she told E! News. "I also have seen how creating little bits of magic for my kids and friends makes our memories and everyday lives special. I wanted to honor my mom and how much being a mom means to me and this felt like the best way."

She also previously discussed her growth via social media.

“This year I went thru [sic] a lot no one knew about,” the actress wrote in a Dec. 31, 2023 Instagram post, noting that she was “ grateful for that privacy .”

She added that she “learned to be a better baker,” “took chances on myself and my bigger dreams,” and “sat deeper in grief and was able to let more go.”

Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.

Hewitt told E! News she "reached a greater place of healing" while writing the book.

"But it also shows birthday parties, holidays, how to plan and some family recipes that I hold special," she continued. "As I create my brand, The Holiday Junkie, I wanted to show why I am that person and how it's a mindset and way of life not just a brand."

Inheriting Magic is set for a Dec. 10 release.
