Pink has announced a stadium tour of North America for summer 2023 in which she’ll be paired with either Brandi Carlile or Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo for different dates. Grouplove will be the opening act for all of the shows.

The “Summer Carnival” tour will reach 21 cities and begin July 24 in Toronto and end in Phoenix Oct. 9. In-between will be stops in such venues at L.A’s SoFi Stadium, New York’s Citi Field, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park.

Tickets for the Live Nation-produced tour go on sale to the general public Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

This particular group of faces may seem familiar to anyone who either watched the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in person last Sunday or will soon be viewing it on HBO on Nov. 19. Pink inducted Dolly Parton and teamed up with Carlile to sing Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors” in one of the highlights of the show (pictured above), while Benatar and Giraldo were themselves inductees.

Although the announcement of the tour did not come until Monday morning, Pink and Carlile let the cat out of the bag Sunday afternoon with a short video they jointly released in which Pink playfully “asked” Carlile to tour together, over the phone, as they sat next to each other, presumably backstage at the Hall of Fame ceremony.

“I was really afraid to ask you this question to your face,” Pink says at the beginning of the faux call.

“Oh,” Carlile responds, with mock awkwardness. “I’m married.”

“Yeah. I love your wife. But will you go on tour with me?”

“Fuck, yeah,” Carlile answers.

Benatar and Giraldo, for their part, are about to embark on an endeavor outside their usual roles, as they have co-written the score for and co-produced a stage musical, “Invincible,” that is set to have a premiere opening run at the Wallis in Beverly Hills, which begins previews Nov. 22.

Pink has not announced any forthcoming album, but did put out her first new music in a while with the release of a new single, “Never Gonna Not Dance Again.” Most recently as live appearances go, she co-headlined Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival at the beginning of October.

With a string of number one singles and millions of albums and tickets sold globally, P!NK is one of the most commercially successful pop acts in the world.

P!NK has released eight studio albums, one greatest hits album, one live album, sold over 60 million albums equivalents, and over 75 million singles. In 2019 she also received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Most recently, in 2020 P!NK was Billboard Music Award ’ s Icon Recipient.

About The Script

Irish trio The Script are one of the world ’ s most successful bands: five previous platinum-selling albums, 6 UK No.1 albums, 7 Irish No.1 albums, 6 billion streams, 30 million single sales, 11 million album sales, over 13 million monthly Spotify listeners and 2 million tickets sold across headline shows globally, plus their No.1 smash 'Hall of Fame ’ feat Will.I.Am recently surpassed a landmark 1 billion streams on Spotify. Last year saw them complete another headline arena tour taking their Greatest Hits tour on the global stage.  Highlights in UK & Ireland included huge shows at London ’ s The O2, Edinburgh Castle and Dublin ’ s 3Arena. The band also recently released a series of acoustic sessions offering stripped back versions of fan favourites including ’ Superheroes ’ , ‘ I Want It All ’ , ‘ For The First Time ’ and 'The Man Who Can ’ t Be Moved ’ .  They also recently released a new single ‘ Dare You To Doubt Me ’ recorded while on the road of their global tour.

About GAYLE

GAYLE ’ s debut EP, a study of the human experience volume one, captures the now GRAMMY-nominated 18-year-old singer/songwriter ’ s most specific and vividly real emotions: the tension between longing for connection and fearing vulnerability, the risk and thrill of refusing to compromise your own needs. Released in early 2022, the project features her electrifying chart topping smash single ‘ abcdefu ’ : a triple-Platinum anthem that propelled the Nashville-based artist to over 2 billion streams globally and such milestones as a recent GRAMMY nomination for “ Song Of The Year,” being named as a Billboard Music Awards finalist, receiving American Music Award and People ’ s Choice Award nominations for Best New Artist, and receiving 2 MTV VMA nominations. In the midst of navigating that whirlwind success, GAYLE headed back into the studio to create ‘a study of the human experience volume two’ — a powerful new EP that doubles down on its predecessor ’ s unapologetic truth-telling, highlighted by the playfully chaotic ‘ fmk (with blackbear) ’ . “ If my music can help other people to make better sense of themselves, to come to terms with who they are and what they ’ re feeling, then that means the world to me,” says GAYLE. American Songwriter perfectly summarises: “ GAYLE ’ s uncensored honesty as a lyrical storyteller is what makes her music so captivating.” Praised for her magnetic live performances, GAYLE will be on tour across North America and Europe throughout the first half of 2023.

Tickets go on presale for Citi cardmembers from Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. local time through Nov. 20 at 11 p.m. local time. Another presale for members of the Verizon Up loyalty program will go on sale for select shows from Nov. 17 at noon local time through Nov. 20 at 11 p.m. local time. General on-sale tickets then become available Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. More information can be found on Pink's Live Nation page .

Grouplove and DJ KidCutUp will perform as opening acts on all 21 dates, while Carlile as well as Benatar and Giraldo will each appear at select shows.

Ahead of the tour's announcement, both Pink and Carlile, 41, performed a tribute to Dolly Parton at the 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony last week. On Sunday, they teased the stadium tour on social media with a hilarious video filmed backstage at the event.

"Sorry, I'm not trying to ignore you. I just have to make a really important phone call," said Pink in the clip while seated alongside Carlile — before calling the "Right on Time" singer on the phone.

Both musicians greeted each other on the playfully tongue-in-cheek phone call before Pink expressed feeling "really afraid" to ask Carlile a question. "Oh, I'm married," replied Carlile with a laugh, referencing her wife of a decade, Catherine Shepherd.

"Yeah, I do love your wife," giggled Pink, "But will you go on tour with me?"

"F--- yeah!" exclaimed Carlile. "Are we doing this?"

"Yeah!" replied Pink, before the performers shared a high five and ended the pseudo call.

Last week, Pink released her latest single "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" alongside a music video. She'll give the track its live TV debut performance at the 2022 American Music Awards on Nov. 20, where she'll also perform a tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John.

Pink's support acts for Birmingham show as her huge Summer Carnival tour comes to Villa Park Stadium

Pink will perform at Summer Carnival tour to Birmingham's Villa Park Stadium on Tuesday, June 13

Fans of Pink have just under a week to wait until the singer brings her huge 2023 tour to Birmingham's Villa Park Stadium . The singer will entertain thousands at Villa Park on Tuesday, June 13, as part of her Summer Carnival 2023 tour.

The Birmingham show is part of a huge world tour including 63 stadiums, three festivals and 22 arenas - in what she has described as a 'fantasy feat of a lifetime'.

She gave fans a sneak peek ahead of her first show in Bolton on Wednesday (June 7) on Instagram as she shared pictures and videos behind the scenes with her daughter. Posting to her 9.7m followers she said she had 'never been more grateful'.

Some fans are particularly excited by who will be opening the show for Pink. And there's three names up on the bill, as well as Pink - with her main support act The Script. There was some concern the band would pull out of the shows after the death of member Mark Sheehan in April.

The Irish band formed in 2001 by lead vocalist, keyboardist and guitarist Danny O'Donoghue; lead guitarist Mark Sheehan and drummer Glen Power. They released their first album The Script in August 2008 which peaked at number one in both Ireland and the UK - preceded by their debut single We Cry, as well as The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Breakeven and Before The Worst.

Their next three albums - Science & Faith, #3 and No Sound Without Silence all topped the album charts in Ireland and the UK. Some of the hit singles from the albums include For The First Time, Nothing, Hall Of Fame and Superheroes. A Greatest Hits album was released in October 2021.

The band have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Sadly, Mark Sheehan died aged 46 following a short illness on April 14.

He was described as "the engine" of the group according to lead singer Danny. In a statement, the band said: " Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness. The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time."

Taylor Gayle Rutherfurd, known as Gayle, is an American singer and songwriter. She signed with Atlantic Records and Arthouse Entertainment, before releasing her hit single ABCDEFU in 2021, which charted worldwide - including reaching number one in the UK.

The song went viral on both TikTok and Spotify and earned Gayle a Grammy Award nomination for Song of the Year. As well as supporting Pink on the European leg of the Summer Carnival tour, Gayle also opened on multiple shows of the US leg of Taylor Swift's Eras tour.

KidCutUp is a DJ and producer from Los Angeles, in California. He has DJed through the 1990s, 2000s and beyond and has toured with the likes of Cher in the past.

This isn't the first time he has toured with Pink either. He joined the star during her 2018 to 2019 Beautiful Trauma world tour.

Heartbreaking update on young Swiftie fan

Pop superstar Pink has today revealed the support act for her upcoming Australian stadium tour: homegrown Dance Monkey singer Tones and I.

It comes as Pink also adds two more shows to the tour , her first time playing stadiums in Australia – with touring company Live Nation revealing that more than 725,000 tickets have already been snapped up.

The singer has been one of this country’s most popular touring acts over the past 20 years, completing multiple exhaustive arena tours, each with dozens of shows – her 2009 Funhouse tour broke the record for the biggest tour in the country’s history at the time, with more than 660,000 people attending.

But she’s never played stadiums in this country – until now. The Summer Carnival stadium tour is set to kick off at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on February 9, before moving around the country.

The two newly-announced shows are a fourth and final show at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on March 13, and new tour-closing show at Queensland Country bank Stadium in Townsville on March 23. It’ll be a rare Far North Queensland performance for an international touring act, with most big tours not making it further than Brisbane.

Tones and I will open for Pink at all shows.

Tones And I’s addition to the tour comes after a big few years for the Melbourne-born singer-songwriter, who burst onto the scene in 2019 with the inescapable global smash single Dance Monkey.

Since then, she’s clocked up several more platinum-selling singles, including Bad Child, Fly Away and C loudy Day. She’s scheduled to play as Pink’s opener across all 16 shows of the Summer Carnival tour.

“Can’t wait to see your pretty faces sooooon,” Pink tweeted , announcing the news today.

The Live Nation pre-sale for the two new shows commences on Thursday August 17; with Melbourne tickets on sale at 11am and Townsville at 12pm, running for 24 hours.

General public tickets go on sale on Friday August 18; Melbourne at 12pm and Townsville at 1pm, local time.

This is savage. One of the biggest rappers of the 21st century just performed to a near-empty arena meant to house 10,000 screaming fans.

An R&B hitmaker and three-time Grammy Award winner has announced he will bring his global tour to Australia later this year.
