LIVE AT MAVERIK CENTER ON DECEMBER 13, 2022

Tickets go On-Sale Friday, November 4, 2022.

Snoop Dogg, the seven-time Platinum selling Artist, Movie Star, and Cultural Icon announces his upcoming Holidaze of Blaze tour featuring an incredible night of hits from a star-studded lineup! Joining Snoop on this Tour are other transformational artists like T-Pain, Warren G, Ying Yang Twins, and rising star Justin Champagne. After performing at one of the most epic half time shows in history, Snoop went on tour earlier in 2022 selling out Arenas across the Country. He is now back out to bring a very special holiday show where he will be touring with a full band for the first time in years! This is truly a one-of-a-kind show that you do not want to miss!

T-Pain proved to the World that he, in fact, does not need auto-tune when he shocked fans with his incredible voice as he won The Masked Singer in 2019. In 2007, T-Pain released his second album,  Epiphany , which reached number one on the US  Billboard  200 chart. His third album,  Three Ringz , was released in 2008. The albums included a string of hit singles, including "I'm Sprung", "I'm 'n Luv (Wit a Stripper)", "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')", "Bartender", "Can't Believe It", and "5 O'Clock". T-Pain has earned two Grammy Awards from 12 nominations, one with Kanye West for "Good Life" and the other with Jamie Foxx for "Blame It". From 2006 to 2010, T-Pain was featured on more than 50 chart topping singles. His most successful feature to date was on Flo Rida's debut single "Low", which has since been certified diamond (10× platinum) by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

This epic lineup will also feature the living legend and original regulator, Warren G who joined Snoop on tour earlier this year. If that weren’t enough, Ying Yang Twins will complete a set packed with countless chart-topping hits that are sure to keep the audience up and jumping all while setting the stage for this incredible party. And of course, kicking everything off is the rising star out of Lafayette, LA, Justin Champagne, who recently released the popular If She Ain’t Country with Snoop Dogg. Fans are encouraged to get their tickets early as these shows are sure to sell out quick!

Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:00AM.  A limited number of VIP packages and experiences will be available.

Here’s your guide to major summer concerts in Utah

Rock, country, pop, rap and more — from single shows to big festivals, along the wasatch front and beyond..

(Live Nation) Rapper Snoop Dogg is scheduled to headline with Wiz Khalifa on July 11, 2023, at USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City.

The summer concert season will be fast upon us, as acts of all musical genres bring their tours through Utah.

Some acts will fill up huge arenas, like the Vivint Arena — soon to restore its old name, the Delta Center. Others will play under the stars, at USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Deer Valley in Park City, or Salt Lake City’s Red Butte Garden. Some will be part of concert series, like the Twilight shows in Salt Lake City and Ogden. And there are festivals, like Superbloom in Salt Lake City or the Fort Desolation Festival in Torrey.

Here’s a rundown, by venue, of the major concerts scheduled to play along the Wasatch Front — and a few other places — through the summer into the early fall. Enjoy the music.

New Real Salt Lake supporter? Rapper Snoop Dogg dons RSL jersey for Utah concert | SIDELINE

Snoop Dogg wearing Real Salt Lake jersey

Snoop Dogg is one of the world’s most famous rappers, an actor and … a Real Salt Lake fan?

While performing at the USANA Ampitheatre in West Valley City, Utah, on Saturday, Snoop donned an RSL jersey, much to the surprise of those in attendance.

Of course, this isn’t Snoop’s first foray into the world of soccer. Eight years ago, the rapper and his kids had a private workout with David Beckham , and he’s since become a big supporter of the sport .

But how did he get that RSL jersey?

According to a Real Salt Lake spokesperson, a fan contacted the team after connecting with the promoter, who thought Snoop would wear a jersey if they could get him one. So the club had a customized “BROADUS 15” jersey made and delivered the day before the show for Snoop (who’s real name is Calvin Broadus Jr.).

And the rest is history.

Here are some more photos from the concert, courtesy of Real Salt Lake.

Appreciate the love Snoop pic.twitter.com/3L85KBxJw0 — Real Salt Lake (@realsaltlake) August 30, 2015

Calvin Broadus was born on October 20th 1971, and started rapping when he was eleven years old. Ten years after that he took the stage name Snoop Doggy Dogg to begin recording, and in doing so, changed the face of Hip-Hop forever.

There are more than a few artists around that it’s basically impossible to say anything new about. They have been so scrutinised, so celebrated and so criticised that most of what one can say about them has already been said before. This is very much the case with Snoop Dogg, one of the cast iron legends of Hip-Hop and one of the key influences that make it what it is today, both as a cultural phenomenon, and as (arguably) the dominant force of pop music in the world.

After his rapping caught the attention of Hip-Hop godhead Dr. Dre, the legendary producer gave the up and coming Snoop the exposure of a lifetime by featuring him heavily on his 1992 album “The Chronic”. The California, US native capitalised by releasing the following years “Doggystyle” and promptly became one of the world’s most successful, famous, controversial, and downright feared musicians overnight. Since then his image has softened slightly, he’s more likely to be seen in adverts for Hot Pockets than on trial for murder (as he was in 1996), but he’s diversified to a thrilling degree as a musician.

Not content with giving the world the best G-Funk it’s ever going to get with “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and “Gin and Juice”, he’s also given it some of its best straight up hip hop with the Pharrell Williams assisted “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and is still unafraid to tread his own path. His most recent reinvention, with a new name (Snoop Lion) and a new reggae sound on the album “Reincarnated”, sees him still going from strength to strength 22 years into his career. With a back catalogue like his, and a bright future to match, you can’t go wrong with the Doggfather himself, Snoop Dogg.

Live reviews

I was pretty worried that the concert might've been uncomfortable, as I'm a teen that went with their parents. Also, my mom isn't good at keeping her calm in situations surrounded by high intensity and tons of weed (which I guarantee will be at any Snoop concert). But it was the opposite of awkward. It was really fucking fun and people of all ages and backgrounds were there. We sat in the mezzanine, and even that far away from the stage it was high energy and a great vibe. HYPE Everyone was feeling the music and yes, there was shitloads of marijuana, even in a fancy theater venue like the Paramount in Seattle. But it's not overwhelming at all, even if you don't smoke. No one's aggressive or anything of the sort or passing judgement. Everybody's there to flip out over Snoop Dogg, dance, sing their hearts out, and have a good time. Snoop was so charismatic, captivating, and comfortable onstage. He never missed a beat or messed up his lyrics and put on a great show. I lost all inhibition dancing, and I'm usually self-conscious and anxious. Tons of fun. There were about five different groups opening, which lasted around three and a half hours (Puff Puff Pass Tour Part 2). Snoop was up there for about an hour and a half. He finished with Young, Wild & Free and spoke about all the hatred in the world in its current situation and how his tour was all about empathy, peace, and love and to stay strong. It was honestly beautiful. The show closed with Bob Marley's jamming. My clothes and hair still smelled like weed the day after. Definitely a must-see.

Thought the show was very entertaining! Snoop's got a great legacy and his story is definitely worthy of a play (and a movie as well, which we know will happen). Tamar Braxton was perfect as the Angel and WOW was really impressed with La Toya London's performance! Thought physically Lil JJ was too short to play Snoop but he very much acted the part and won me over. Oh and the visuals and sound effects were great too. Every time I heard gunshots I actually turned to make sure it wasn't real. LOL!!! So my only critique was it ran a little long, thought his story could have been told in less time. Other than that great job by everyone, cast, crew, the band.

Oh and forgot how much I despise the seating arrangement at Microsoft Theater. Rows are too long so if you're seated in middle seats you have to scoot by at least 10-14 people to get to your seat, annoying! Also people actually brought infants and small children. This is not a good place to bring children. Hire a babysitter! This along with the high ticket price, convenience charge, taxes and parking fees are probably why I will consider not going here again.

Okay, who doesn't love Snoop Dogg? Maybe my grandma, but otherwise, I can't think of anyone!

So, when I had the opportunity of a lifetime to see Snoop Dogg (and others) live I was more than thrilled. I was excited as I have ever been in my entire life. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. Snoop Dogg is a legend in the rap world and he did nothing less than live up to that legacy during this show at Coachella.

He kept the audience involved in the show the entire time. There was not one dull moment, it was probably one of the best nights of my life. At one time, I swear he even looked right at me and pointed and winked at me. I almost died! I was so excited.

His music is well, Snoop Dogg's music and if you like it you love it. I enjoyed all the old school music that he played as well as some of the newer songs he has.

His performance was great. He had me smiling the entire time, I seriously couldn't believe I was seeing Snoop Dogg. Like, it was him, right there in front of me. I will never forget that night. One of the best ever!

Last night's snoop show was a blast !! We puffed puffed passed till we couldn't anymore cuz the show ended but The smooth dark chocolate rapper has done it again in Colorado showing us that his vital stamina and pure heart and soulkeeps him ahead of the pack !! Well since it was spoiled rasta Rosa's 4 th Snoopsy concert in 2016 I'll rate it #2 after the 420 concert with wiz @ Fiddlers Green in April I loved the old school feel with Bone Thigs and harmony it was like my cherry got poped again 18 years later took me right back to the Glorydays !!! Lol I love you Snoop I am your biggest Fan from Colorado. It's funny Snoop was talking about bucket lists last night and go sure smoking with the Dogg face to face blowing o's in each other's face is definitely on my bucket list ! Bring The wifey and Martha we will all get down ! Thank you Snoop for listening to yourself to be who you are you inspire the best of us !!!

Well, it was great to see him do so many hits, (and I actually really admired the athleticism of the 2 pole dancers on the stage). However, it really felt like he was phoning it in. The show was 1 long medley. I don't think he performed 1 song from beginning to end, and there was definitely a lack of energy on the stage. But, ya know what? My friend and I agreed; if anyone has earned the right to do that, it's him at this point in his career. Now, if I had paid $150 or $300 I would've been pissed and felt ripped off. But the for the $60 I paid, it was fine. We enjoyed the show, and I always enjoy going to the Concord in Chicago - it's a great venue: best acoustics anywhere, plenty of elbow room even for sold out shows, and plenty of bars with little or no waiting.

The overall show was 5.5 hours so it was good value from that perspective. Kudos to the long line-up. I've seen Snoop perform about 10 times. The good thing is that his overall stage presence was fairly long and he touched on many songs, albums and artists and he made a decent effort. The bad part is that he shortens all the songs by about half, to ensure he can cover more songs (which I think is fine), but also speeds the bpm of songs which makes them a bit disorienting to those that know the songs and lyrics. I didn't love the dancing girls personally but that is a matter of taste. Wow, since he stopped wearing Adidas, his wardrobe style ranking has sure dropped a quite a few levels! ; )

The concert all the way around was so LIT

I have been to many concerts and I would have to say by far the best concert I have ever witnessed in my life. I can’t even say who was better Bone Thugz, Warren G and Snoop where all amazing !!! I am so happy that I was able to witness this concert and the storm going down in the back round just made the concert that much better !!

It sucked. Cypress hill was dope... if they promoted that snoop dogg and wiz were collaborating and performing together I would have never gone. It was garbage snoop should just stick to himself on stage and play his style of music. Don't waste your money on going. Unless u like that new style of "hip hop" than its perfect but if not than definitely don't waste your money

Snoop Dogg in SLC: Revived Twilight Concert Series announces 2018 lineup

snoop dogg tour slc

By Court Mann

SALT LAKE CITY — Snoop Dogg, Diplo and others are scheduled to perform at this year’s Twilight Concert Series , it was announced on Thursday morning.

The lineup is out now! Diplo on 8/16, Robert DeLong on 8/23, Moon Taxi on 8/30, DJ Snoopadelic AKA Snoop Dogg on 9/6,... Posted by Twilight Concert Series on  Thursday, June 21, 2018

The long-running series has been in flux since last summer, when Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski recommended the series not be funded for 2018 , citing two 2017 Twilight shows that ran deficits exceeding $100,000. The Salt Lake City Arts Council initially planned to revive the series in 2019, but Biskupski announced in February that it would return this year, in a short-term partnership with Salt Lake City-based Broadway Media.

“The city is really supportive of that private partnership, but we didn’t necessarily facilitate that or make that deal. But we’re really glad that it happened,” Lia Summers, Salt Lake City's senior advisor for arts and culture, told the Deseret News. According to Summers, the city did not allocate funds for this summer's Twilight series.

Summers said city representatives conducted surveys gauging the public's feelings about the series, which had grown considerably in recent years, in both attendance and cost. These surveys, Summers explained, showed the public response to the series was “sort of a mixed bag”: Some preferred its previous iteration at the Gallivan Center, others preferred its recent Pioneer Park location, while others felt it was either simply a nuisance or unneccessary.

“I mean, no one program can be all things to all people, and we understand that, so making sure that our resources are allocated across many different kinds of programs that serve collectively the whole city is really our goal,” Summers said.

Efron Corado, vice chair of the board for the Salt Lake City Arts Council, said the concert series grew exponentially over the past few years, making it increasingly difficult to handle for a relatively small non-profit. That increasing size also made the stakes for failure even higher if a given concert didn't recoup its costs.

“But the reality is that the program itself, it is what it is because it’s not a for-profit program,” Corado said. “If (a for-profit series is) what we wanted to make, then it would be a completely different ballgame.”

Under the Arts Council's new trial partnership with Broadway Media, Corado said, many of the logistics like booking, concert promotion and production will be outsourced to Broadway Media, which will report to the Arts Council. The 2018’s series is also moving from Pioneer Park to the Gallivan Center.

This year's performers are as follows:

  • Aug. 16: Diplo
  • Aug. 23: Robert DeLong
  • Aug. 30: Moon Taxi
  • Sept. 6: DJ Snoopadelic (a.k.a. Snoop Dogg)
  • Sept. 13: King Princess, Flora Cash

Potawatomi puts its chips on Snoop Dogg to open new concert series

snoop dogg tour slc

In the early days of 2024, we got a report that the Forest County Potawatomi Community planned to build a $200 million concert venue near their hotel and casino in the Menomonee Valley. That permanent facility was supposed to break ground in 2025, but the Potawatomi aren’t waiting that long to host a concert on its site.

Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper and recently announced sponsor of the Arizona Bowl, will step onto a temporary stage June 15 as the first show of the Potawatomi Amplified Concert Series. The performance — and two more later in the summer — will happen at a placeholder venue situated on a lot previously occupied by Cargill that can house almost 4,800 people.

The Potawatomi tribe's reported concert venue would sit just to the west of their hotel and casino in the Menomonee Valley.

Potawatomi Casino Hotel CEO Dominic Ortiz initially revealed the plans for a temporary setup at the end of February, and he had this to say in a release announcing the Snoop Dogg concert:

“This will be one of the most exciting summers the city has experienced, and we wanted to give the people of Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin one more reason to visit Potawatomi Casino. We are rolling out Potawatomi Amplified and the temporary venue to host three concerts, and we think people will be really excited when they hear the names we plan to announce.”

The remaining two will be revealed down the line, but for now we have the Snoop Dogg news to chew on. Since emerging as part of the West Coast scene in the early 1990s, the man born Calvin Broadus Jr. has collected almost as many business ventures as nicknames. Among his many entrepreneurial efforts are a cookbook, a wine called “Snoop Cali Red” and an esports league.

Even with all that on his plate, Snoop still squeezes in music now and then, including his 2022 album BODR under the revived Death Row Records. That same year, he said there were plans for another LP produced by Dr. Dre, who confirmed this past March that the project is in the works.

While we’re not sure if that album will drop before Snoop visits Milwaukee, we can say with near-certainty that tickets for the June 15 show will go on sale at noon Friday via the Potawatomi Casino Hotel website .

Snoop Dogg will be first headliner at Potawatomi Casino Hotel's new outdoor concert venue

H ip-hop legend and all-over-the-map entrepreneur Snoop Dogg will be the first act to headline Potawatomi Casino Hotel's new outdoor concert venue just west of the Menomonee Valley casino complex.

Potawatomi announced Wednesday that Snoop Dogg will be the inaugural headliner at what it's calling Potawatomi Amplified with a concert on June 15. The gates open at 7:45 p.m. (7:30 for VIP ticketholders); the concert is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.

Tickets, at $89 and $299.50 VIP tent seats, go on sale at noon May 10 at paysbig.com .

Get daily updates on the Packers during the season.

The outdoor venue, in the former Cargill lot west of the casino at 1721 W. Canal St., will have capacity for 4,800 patrons, with a range of seating and free parking in the Potawatomi parking lot.

The new venue is on a fast track to completion. Last month, the Forest County Potawatomi Community filed permit applications with the Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services for an outdoor stage, fence and 10 tents, including the two VIP tents. The application included plans for unspecified live entertainment events on June 15, July 18, July 26 to 28, and Aug. 22.

In the statement announcing the Snoop Dogg show, Potawatomi said the acts for the other dates would be announced later.

"We are rolling out Potawatomi Amplified, the temporary venue, to host three summer and early fall concerts, and we think people will be really excited when they hear the names we plan to announce,” Dominic Ortiz, CEO of Potawatomi Casino Hotel, said in the statement.

July 18, for those checking their calendars, is the last day of the the 2024 Republican National Convention, and July 26 to 28 overlap the weekend dates of this summer's Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival.

The outdoor concert venue is the same location that sources previously told the Journal Sentinel is where Potawatomi is looking to build a $200 million indoor concert venue that can seat up to 6,000 people.

Piet Levy of the Journal Sentinel staff contributed to this report.
