Hints and tips for improving your chances of getting TAKE THAT tickets

Make sure you have a my ticketmaster account.

Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance –  Ticketmaster.com.au .

Sign into your My Ticketmaster account ahead of time

Remember to triple check your passwords, account information, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Keep your options open with ‘Best Available’

Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.

Keep an eye on the clock

There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as you are progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).

Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window while you’re in the  Waiting Room  and when you’re being pushed through  the Smart Queue  and always resist the urge to refresh.

Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

Take That is renowned for their phenomenal live shows and massive productions, holding the record for the most performances at London’s The O2 with 34 headline shows. The band’s 2011 Progress tour broke box office records by selling over 1 million tickets in less than 24 hours, becoming the UK’s biggest tour and earning a spot on Billboard’s ‘Top 25 Tours’ list, ranking third worldwide.

In 2019, their 38-date sell-out Odyssey tour celebrated their 30th anniversary, playing to over 650,000 fans in 29 arenas and 9 stadiums.

Their ninth studio album, ‘This Life,’ released last year, soared to Number 1 on the UK’s Official Charts, becoming the biggest-selling album from a UK artist in 2023. The album showcases the trio’s exceptional musicality with beautiful melodies, soaring choruses, and sophisticated harmonies, marking a new era for the iconic British band.

Pop legend Sophie Ellis-Bextor, known for her early-2000s hit ‘Murder On The Dancefloor,’ will join Take That on their Australia and New Zealand tour. Riding the wave of a resurgence of her hit song, she continues to captivate audiences, and her inclusion in the tour promises an extra layer of excitement.

Sophie’s hit ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ recently gained attention in the film Saltburn’s final scene, causing a chart resurgence and making it a must-listen once again.

Released last year, Take That's ninth studio album, This Life , is a vibrant body of work that marks the band's first album since 2017's Wonderland. The album stormed to Number 1 on the UK's Official Charts and was the biggest selling album from a UK artist in 2023, outselling the whole Top 25 combined. Showcasing their exceptional musicality, the album – recorded mainly in Nashville and New York – sees Gary, Mark and Howard focus on vocals, with beautiful melodies, soaring choruses and sophisticated harmonies blending the trio's voices seamlessly together. Rising to prominence with her feature on DJ Spiller's 2000 track ‘Groovejet' , Sophie quickly became a household name following the release of her double platinum debut album Read My Lips. Now in 2024, ‘ Murder On The Dancefloor' is in the spotlight once again, racing up the charts following its inclusion in the epic final scene of Emerald Fennell 's recently released and much talked about film Saltburn. The track was last month covered by Australia's own Royel Otis for triple j's Like A Version , and will be released on limited edition 7” red vinyl for the first time on 16 February (Polydor/Universal Music).

About Take That

Formed as a five-piece in 1989, Take That enjoyed immediate success with their first two albums charting at Number 2 and Number 1 respectively. Third album Nobody Else confirmed their global domination, selling over six million copies and topping the charts in 11 countries. The departure of band member Robbie Williams prompted a break-up in 1996 and nine years in the wilderness before the remaining four members reunited for 2005's The Ultimate Tour. This sparked one of the greatest comebacks in British music history with Take That going on to release three Number 1 albums in just four years. Robbie's return for 2011's Progress saw them break UK records for the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and fastest-selling tour of all time. Williams' second departure, along with that of Jason Orange, left the remaining three members to release III and 2017's Wonderland, which were certified platinum and gold respectively.

The band celebrated their 30th anniversary with the release of Odyssey in 2018, a greatest hits album of beautifully re-imagined versions of some of the biggest tracks from their three-decade-spanning career. The album entered the charts at Number 1 and was closely followed by a critically acclaimed UK and European stadium and arena tour in 2019.

Take That’s tour comes in support of their 2023 album ‘This Life’. Their first album in six years, it charted at No. 1 in the UK and was the biggest selling album from a UK artist last year. Ellis-Bextor’s own ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ has gone viral and re-entered charts around the world following its use in the finale of Emerald Fennell-directed film Saltburn – where it soundtracked Keoghan dancing nude through the titular mansion.

The song is currently sitting at number 7 on the ARIA singles chart (it peaked at number 3 in 2002) and was covered earlier this month by the Sydney indie band Royel Otis on triple j’s Like A Version .

The British pop legends have been in the industry for an impressive 33 years, having formed in Manchester in 1990.

Currently, the group involves Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, however the original band also featured Robbie Williams and Jason Orange.

Their new album is called 'This Life' and was released on November 24, 2023.

The album marks a fresh direction for the group; they say the album draw inspiration from American vocal harmony groups from the 1970s.

“We kind of approached the record writing a little differently this time," Gary said on Sunrise.

"We did have a session where we’d sit round a piano and write but we also went off individually and wrote and I think it really worked.”

About Take That

Formed as a five-piece in 1989, Take That enjoyed immediate success with their first two albums charting at Number 2 and Number 1 respectively. Third album Nobody Else confirmed their global domination, selling over six million copies and topping the charts in 11 countries. The departure of band member Robbie Williams prompted a break-up in 1996 and nine years in the wilderness before the remaining four members reunited for 2005’s The Ultimate Tour. This sparked one of the greatest comebacks in British music history with Take That going on to release three Number 1 albums in just four years. Robbie’s return for 2011’s Progress saw them break UK records for the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and fastest-selling tour of all time. Williams’ second departure, along with that of Jason Orange, left the remaining three members to release III and 2017’s Wonderland, which were certified platinum and gold respectively.

Kicking off at Perth’s RAC Arena on Wednesday 30 Octobe r , the band will hit the road, playing shows at Peter Lehmann Wines in the stunning Barossa Valley , Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena , before heading to wine country with stops at the Hunter Valley’s Bimbadgen and Sirromet Wines  in Queensland’s Mount Cotton . New Zealand will say farewell to Take That on their final antipodean show at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday 14 November.

Fans will undoubtedly rejoice as the band returns to Australia for their first shows since 2017, and with fellow pop icon Sophie Ellis-Bextor  joining the tour as a very special guest on all dates. Local star Ricki-Lee  will take a break from her hosting duties on Australian Idol and Nova Drive, to join Take That’s  a day on the green  winery shows.

“We are so looking forward to coming back to Australia and New Zealand later this year, our first live shows over there since 2017! And we are honoured that Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be joining us. It’s going to be great to see everyone again and perform the songs from our new album This Life, as well as all the favourites, and a few surprises! We can’t wait…see you all soon ”, said Take That .

Frontier Members can access presale tickets from 3pm local time on Wednesday 7 February, before general sale opens at 1pm local time on Tuesday 13 February. Tickets and tour information via frontiertouring.com/takethat .

Take That are renowned for their huge productions and incredible live shows, and currently hold the record for the most performances at London’s The O2 with a stunning 34 headline shows. 2011’s Progress tour broke box office records by selling over 1 million tickets in less than 24 hours, becoming the biggest tour in the UK and earning them a place on Billboard’s annual ‘Top 25 Tours’ list, placing third worldwide. In 2019, the band celebrated their 30th anniversary with the 38-date sell-out Odyssey tour which saw them play to 29 arenas and 9 stadiums, selling over 650,000 tickets.

Released last year, Take That’s ninth studio album, This Life , is a vibrant body of work that marks the band’s first album since 2017’s Wonderland . The album stormed to Number 1 on the UK’s Official Charts and was the biggest selling album from a UK artist in 2023, outselling the whole Top 25 combined. Showcasing their exceptional musicality, the album – recorded mainly in Nashville and New York – sees Gary, Mark and Howard focus on vocals, with beautiful melodies, soaring choruses and sophisticated harmonies blending the trio’s voices seamlessly together. Lead single ‘ Windows ’, the band’s first original composition in over five years, signals a new era for one of Britain’s best-selling bands; an era brimming with energy, creativity and a continued desire to challenge and surprise.

Following the renaissance of her early-2000's hit ‘ Murder On The Dancefloor ’, pop legend Sophie Ellis-Bextor  will join Take That on their Australia and New Zealand tour. Rising to prominence with her feature on DJ Spiller’s 2000 track ‘ Groovejet ’, Sophie quickly became a household name following the release of her double platinum debut album Read My Lips . Now in 2024, ‘ Murder On The Dancefloor ’ is in the spotlight once again, racing up the charts following its inclusion in the epic final scene of Emerald Fennell’s recently released and much talked about film Saltburn . The track was last month covered by Australia’s own Royel Otis for triple j’s Like A Version , and will be released on limited edition 7” red vinyl for the first time on 16 February (Polydor/Universal Music) .

It’s huge news for fans after she sadly had to cancel her plans to perform here in September last year, but promised she’d be headed down under when she could.

Now we have dates! The GUTS World Tour will officially hit our shores in October for a string of four shows – two in Eora/Sydney and two in Naarm/Melbourne. You just know all us Livies are going to be flying in from all over just to see their #1 fave.

New Zealand's best BENEE  will be joining Olivia on the whole tour, heating up the stages with her electric presence and high energy tracks. These shows are going to be an unreal vibe from the drop.

The string of major acts gracing Singapore in 2024 shows no signs of slowing down, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Just last week, exciting news broke out that American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo is set to command the stage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 1, as part of her Guts World Tour. This will be the three-time Grammy award-winning artist’s very first time performing in Asia and Australia.

So, what’s next? Securing tickets of course. And as with all ticket-purchasing frenzies, it’s a classic case of ‘fastest fingers first’, so we’re here to make sure that you arm yourself with all the necessary information before going into battle. Not a bad idea right? Read on, take notes, and good luck!
