Let someone else take the wheel and use Jersey’s network of public buses to navigate your way around the island. Jersey’s public transport network makes it easy to explore wherever you please and most buses are equipped with easy access for wheelchair users.

LibertyBus runs an easy to use, regular public service linking the island’s main locations and attractions with the central bus station at Liberation Station in St. Helier. LibertyBus also run a TownLink service operating in and around St Helier’s town centre from Monday to Saturday.

This multi-journey pass gives unlimited travel for the duration of your pass, meaning you can hop on and off as many times as you like. Passes are available for 1, 2, 3 and 7 days. The multi-day passes are valid for consecutive days, starting from the first time you use the bus.

A new mobile ticketing initiative is now available on the LibertyBus App that will allow passengers to purchase and download tickets in advance of travel, straight from their smartphones.

Are the buses accessible?

All of Jersey’s public buses are low floor, making them fully accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs, prams, some mobility scooters and those who are mobility impaired. All Liberty buses have easy-access ramps and a dedicated wheelchair space. If there are no wheelchair users on board, any passenger is welcome to use this area.

How do I ask the driver to stop?

When you get near to your stop, tell the driver you’d like to get off by pressing the red button on the central posts. If you can’t reach the button, ask another passenger to do it for you. Not sure where your stop is? Ask the bus driver as you get on, and they’ll let you know when to get off.

What safety policies are in place?

LibertyBus operates a no-smoking policy on their buses and within the bus terminal, Liberation Station. Please don’t block bus aisles with bags or luggage, use the luggage racks where possible.

All Day Island Tours

With excellent live and informative commentary from your experienced driver you can sit back and enjoy the view from the comfort of your seat and appreciate all of Jersey’s stunning and diverse coastline.

Departing St Helier the full day tour visits St Aubin’s Bay, St Brelade Bay, Corbière Lighthouse, St Ouen’s Bay, the northern coastline, Gorey Harbour and returning via the varied and rugged east coast.

Driving along the coast road you will have the perfect view of the Island’s picturesque beaches and bays. Beaches in Jersey range from isolated coves to wide golden sandy beaches on the south and west coasts. Some of our roads are quite narrow but are no problem for our accomplished drivers.

Make sure you have your camera to hand as we will be stopping for photo opportunities along the way and also for refreshments where you can sample what the Island has to offer (including St Brelade’s Bay). St Brelade’s Bay is a popular beach, loved by visitors for its golden sands and safe swimming, beach cafes and restaurants.
