When it comes to travel, we know you need to find the perfect balance between comfort and style. After all, it’s great to look put together while hopping on a flight, but not at the cost of your comfort—especially on long-haul trips. Rest assured, we've curated a list of wardrobe essentials to achieve flawless travel and airport outfits, whether you are exploring a new destination for business or pleasure.
When it comes to the best travel outfits for women, accessories play a critical role in keeping you comfy and organized. All you have to do is remember a comfortable pair of shoes , compression socks to keep things moving, an eye mask that's an upgrade from the one the airline provides, and a chic shawl that doubles as a blanket. And of course, no travel outfit would be complete without a fashionable (and functional!) carry-on bag on your arm or atop your luggage . This bag should house all of your essentials and still level up your airport outfit. Keep reading for some of the best travel and airport outfit ideas your next trip.
Missky Long-Sleeved Oversize Pant Set
You might look like you're already on vacation if you show up to the airport in this neutral pants and button-down set. Available in two bright and two neutral colors, and sizes small to 2XL.
Spanx AirEssentials Wide-Leg Pants
Sometimes nothing less than sweats will do, and here is where Spanx really excels. Oprah picked these for her 2022 Favorite Things , saying, “You might know Spanx for its shapewear, but it also does fantastic cozy clothes. When I tell you this set feels light as air, I’m not kidding. It’s my new leisure suit. The perfectly loose-and-lightweight fabric is like buttah!”
Vuori Elevation Trouser in Midnight Heather
Vuori is celebrated for its super-cozy pieces. The best thing about these pants? They look put together while the stretch-knit fabric is as comfy as your favorite Vuori loungers. The high-rise waist and loose fit of the leg give you an effortlessly stylish silhouette.
Girlfriend Collective Compressive Pocket Legging
Leggings are a perfect choice for traveling wear. And these have Oprah's seal of approval, as they were picked for Oprah's 2022 Favorite Things list. Eco-friendly and size-inclusive (the range goes through 6XL), these compression leggings are available in a plethora of hues. Plus, they feature double-side seaming and pockets.
Dr. Scholl's Time Off Platform Sneakers
Celebrated for their consciously comfortable footwear, these sneakers from Dr. Scholl's are tricked out with tons of features for all-day comfort. Inside, anatomical cushioning and arch support keep you covered while a lightweight, anti-slip platform sole protects on the outside. This minimalist sneaker looks just as good with a matching suit as it does a low-key sweat set.
J. Crew Cashmere-Wool Travel Wrap
Let's be honest, you can't always count on the airline's blankets to keep you warm, and some even leave annoying fluff behind. Stay warm and stylish with your own wearable blanket by way of this travel necessity from J. Crew that comes in eight different colors.
Chico's Travelers No Tummy Pants
Chico's Travelers collection is made from wrinkle-resistant fabrics in comfortable silhouettes. Thanks to a pull-on waist and front darts, these No Tummy Pants are flattering and always look put together. If red isn't your vibe, they come in three other colors as well as the bestselling wide-leg Hutton pants in black.
Athleta Everlasting Button-Down Top
A classic button-down is a travel essential that elevates any in-transit look. Athleta's Everlasting button-down has all the details you need: a lightweight, odor-control stretch fabric and longer length for coverage. Luckily, you can cover all your neutral bases with navy, black, and white. Plus, it comes in an extended range of sizes from XXS to 3X.
Spanx Perfect Pant High-Rise Flare
The perfect pant does not exist—wait, yes it does, and here it is. This high-rise flare option is designed with premium ponte fabric and a comfortable pull-on design for maximum comfort and easy styling on your flight. Plus, it comes in size XS to 3X, so there's something for everyone.
Hoka Transport GTX Sneakers
Hoka's sneakers are cult Oprah Daily office favorites and podiatrist-approved . Not only do they look good with just about everything, but the Transport GTX also offer quick-toggle lacing for an easy on-off, as well as a full-length EVA midsole for the highest level of cushioning and arch support.
Dr. Motion Compression Socks with Enhanced Cushioning (3 Pack)
Compression socks are always a good ideal for traveling. We recommend these styles from Dr. Motion that offer graduated compression of 8 to 15 mmHg while providing arch support. Unlike other socks that can feel scratchy or clammy, these are soft, moisture-wicking, and subtly cushioned.
Spanx Women's AirEssentials 1/2 Zip Sweater
Sometimes nothing less than sweats will do, and here is where Spanx really excels. Oprah picked this top for her 2023 Favorite Things , saying, “Wow. Wow. Wow. May I tell you I got this set last year? I wore it in a photo shoot for O Quarterly and never looked back...” Why not pair it with the coordinating wide-leg pants for a full sweatsuit?
Everlane Organic Cotton Honeycomb Cardigan
This gorgeous honeycomb cotton cardigan is part of the latest iteration of Everlane Editions: The Art of Spring Layering. Crafted from responsibly sourced and lower-impact materials, this 100 percent organic cotton knit is ideal for layering before, during, and after your flight.
32º DEGREES Lightweight Recycled Poly-Fill Shirt Jacket
Sometimes a full on coat is not needed for travel, but you can never be quite sure of the weather. That's why a a little packable shacket—part shirt, part jacket—comes in. In black, olive green, or dark blue, the jacket will be your go-to for travel. Keep in mind, it runs slightly big in order to allow for comfortable layering of hoodies or sweaters underneath. There's a reason why Oprah tapped it on her Favorite Things list .
JW PEI Aylin Canvas Cellphone Crossbody Bag
Making sure you have all your essentials when going through airport security can be tough, but with this crossbody, you'll have your phone and cards right at hand.
Naadam Original 100 Percent Cashmere Sweater
Warm, soft, and chic—few things are as reliable as a plain cashmere sweater. At under $100, Naadam's perfect crewneck comes in core and limited-edition hues. Pro tip: Order a size or two larger than your usual for an ultra-cozy fit. And what's more, the sweater is machine-washable (yes, you read that right).
Original Puffer Hug Scarf
If you're traveling for business to a location that you're not thrilled about, chances are you are in need of a hug. Don't worry, this puffer hug scarf doubles as a warm wrap to keep you cozy and a hug to make you feel loved. It's fleece-lined with deep pockets so you can also store your ID and credit card without any issues.
Asutra Silk Eye Mask & Pillow
Oprah chose this eye mask for her 2023 Favorite Things list. "Sleeping with a mask is life-changing—I cannot tell you how much the quality of my sleep has improved," she said. "This weighted 100 percent silk one stays down and doesn’t let even a pinch of light in.” Co-owned by superstar Venus Williams, Asustra produces eye pillows that are filled with lavender and flax. Whether you want to meditate or snooze during your flight, this adjustable mask will definitely relax you.
Birdies Vesper Seven-Layer Cloud Comfort Loafers
Birdies' classic loafer will elevate any airport look. They're crafted with tumbled Nappa leather, a no-slip rubbber sole, and the brand's signature seven-layer footbed for ultra-cushy support. Plus, the Vesper comes in sizes 5 to 12, and a range of colors like silver leather and cappucino with raffia accents.
K. Carroll Accessories Taylor Tote Red
These vegan suede totes are great for hauling all your in-flight essentials, with plenty of room. There are a range of colors to choose from. "Not too big or too small, this vegan suede tote is just the right size for your on-the-go loved one in need of a stylish solution," Oprah said when highlighting the Taylor tote on her 2022 Favorite Things list.

Travel Outfits: How to Look Chic When You’re Flying
Listen—I’m all about rocking a cute travel outfit when I’m heading out of town…but I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing heels to the airport.
To be honest, I don’t even like wearing jeans on a plane (although I’ll occasionally make an exception if they’re REALLY comfortable jeans , or if my flight is under three hours.)
Usually you’ll find me rocking a head-to-toe set of my favorite affordable cashmere during the winter, and a lightweight loungewear set during the summer.
I often see pictures of bloggers at the airport posing next to their cute pink luggage wearing like…wedges and a mini-dress. HARD PASS. How is that even comfortable? When you’re en route to the airport (and your final destination) it’s all about feeling comfortable.
For this reason, I decided to put together a little guide to cute travel outfits…featuring things that you’ll actually want to travel in , whether you’re heading out for a winter getaway or a girls trip .
Because believe it or not, it’s possible to rock comfy loungewear, leggings, or a jumpsuit and still look SUPER chic, as long as you style them properly (especially my favorite faux leather leggings .)
Below are a handful of great travel outfits I found while trolling IG—and the exact things you can buy to replicate them.
(Also: if you’re also on the hunt for stylish carry-on luggage or if you need some good go-to travel toiletries…I got you covered.)
Chic Travel Outfits
Here, I’m sharing a handful of my go-to travel outfit pieces. These are all items that I think you should have in your closet regardless of how often you go on a getaway, but they just so happen to be particularly comfy choices when going on a plane.
These picks will of course depend on how long your flight is and where you’re headed, but overall, I think they’re practical for travel days.
The only caveat here is that I know a jumpsuit isn’t exactly ideal if you’re going on a long-haul flight—however—I personally don’t mind wearing them on planes because they’re so comfy and not really that difficult to slip in and out of when you need a bathroom break.
If jumpsuits aren’t your jam, there are plenty of other ideas in this post that should work for you, like a cute matching sweatsuit or leggings and a leather jacket. Without further ado, here are the staples I’d recommend having on hand for travel days.
1. An Amazon Set
2. A Comfy Jacket
3. Sweatpants
4. A Cozy Jumpsuit
5. White Sneakers (or Slip-On Sneakers)
6. A Travel Bag
Travel Outfit Style Guide
Looking for more travel outfit inspo? I put together the four looks below, which are just as cute as they are practical. I love that you can wear these on and off the plane—perfect for those days when you have to go directly from the airport to a social event or outing.
COZY & CASUAL

This post gave me a more clear idea of what I will wear when travelling and I especially loved the part where you mentioned the all black and all white monochromatic looks .
I do not think I would wear white on a plane. No to the belly sticking out as well. I do like the stretchy pants and sneakers.
Why would anyone wear a jumpsuit on a plane? The toilets are used by hundreds of people, now you want to pull down the top part of your clothes and have it dangling somewhere near the toilet, while you’re sitting on a toilet that exposes the part that gets wee on when the seat is up? Eeu that’s all kind of germ wrong!! But I do love the little 3/4 joggers! Def looking for some of those for my next long haul (when this pandemic is over!)

15 Winter Date Night Outfits That are Both Cute and Practical
How to style a leather jacket 12 ways.
I Travel 5 Times a Year—These Easy Outfits Have Never Once Failed Me
As a semi-recent Los Angeles transplant, I've made so many travel plans over the past two years to take advantage of my new West Coast life, whether it's an international flight to Tokyo or multiday road trip to Sea Ranch, just north of San Francisco. And when I was living in New York City, a quick four-day trip across the Atlantic to London or Paris felt like a breeze. Then there are the long-haul flights I've done from L.A. to Monte Carlo and from Orlando to Hong Kong that take up to a full day of travel. And I've done all this with just a carry-on , mind you, so it's safe to say that I'm kind of a travel and packing expert. This is why I rounded up 20 of the best travel outfits if you're sitting on a plane, in a car, or walking 10 miles in a day to explore your vacation destination.
In theory, your vacations are filled with a never-ending supply of chic new outfits that are more than deserving of a few Instagrams, but the reality is that your travel outfits need to be equal parts stylish and comfortable. Yes, achieving that balance is possible, and we have the stylish looks of the below fashion girls to prove that looking good and dressing functionally can coexist.
From roomy jeans and breezy dresses to versatile boots and bold sneakers that can withstand any mileage, scroll down for 20 travel outfits you'll want to copy for any upcoming out-of-office dates.
Coat + White Tee + Jeans
Ogling this Rimowa suitcase situation. But a shaggy jacket and unique jeans will dress up any white tee.
Shop the key pieces:
Jacket + Bold Sneakers + Comfy Pants
Comfortable pants and shoes are key whether you're on a plane or walking 10,000+ steps, but they don't have to feel drab. Add pops of color with your accessories.
Matching Sweatsuit + Sneakers
A matching sweatsuit is a must in any wardrobe. With a fashionable pair of sneakers, you can wear it both on and off the plane.
Quarter-Zip Sweater + Long Coat
Bundle up in a monochrome 'fit like this cream quarter-zip and coordinating coat. Finish it off by adding bottoms with stretch and a trusty pair of shoes.
Bomber Jacket + Jeans + Shoulder Bag
For a day in a new city where you're constantly moving, it's best to stick to the basics like a roomy shoulder bag, your go-to pair of jeans, and a zip-up jacket for transitional temps.
Leggings + Oversize Sweater
There's something about gray that makes any outfit look so much more comfortable. Throw on a cream sweater with your gray leggings for some contrast. Then put on your headphones so no one bothers you while you're waiting to board.
Track Pants + Statement Coat + Flats
Track pants are a staple that can look dressy given the right styling. Take a cue from Helena and add the one statement coat you packed this trip with a pair of sporty bottoms.
Jumpsuit + Big Tote
A one-and-done kind of outfit is ideal for travel. When you have a jam-packed day that starts when the sun rises, you don't want to waste any time picking out what to wear. This is where a jumpsuit or boilersuit comes in handy.
Midi Skirt + Crossbody Bag + Sweater
A crossbody you can keep close to you will ensure your belongings are secure on public transportation. An A-line skirt, a sweater, and statement kicks complete the look.
Flowy Top + Wide-Leg Jeans + Flats
I tend to turn to less-fitted silhouettes on vacay to keep things easy and effortless. A flowy top and wide-leg jeans are just the solution.
Maxi Skirt + Knit Polo
For an ensemble that looks pulled together but actually takes five minutes to put on, a knit polo and maxi skirt are all you need. Add your crossbody or top-handle bag to really level things up.
Breezy Pants + White Button-Down
Don't deny yourself roomy silhouettes! This is the kind of outfit that can take you off the plane and straight to lunch if you don't have time to decompress and change outfits at your hotel.
Quilted Coat + Shoulder Bag + Chunky Sneakers
A coat that doubles as a blanket and/or a pillow on the plane and one you can wear on the daily is a great travel piece if you're heading somewhere chilly. Pack a pair of chunky dad sneakers and a shoulder bag, and you're ready for a day of exploring.
Jacket + Plaid Skirt + Sneakers
Going somewhere with pretty mild weather? Opt for plaid skirt and sneakers. You can add a bomber in this rich brown shade if the temperature fluctuates.
Knit Sweater + Jeans + Bold Accessories
A cozy sweater, straight-leg jeans, and red accessories are an outfit formula you'll want to remember. And definitely make sure to stop by a café while you're out to fuel up before you hit the pavement again.
Wrap Coat + Comfortable Boots
Rainy weather won't get you down if you have a fab coat to stay dry in. A trench or raincoat is a must if it's a rainy forecast during your travels, but you can liven it up with bright footwear.
Coat + Sneakers + Baggy Jeans
Layer up with a scarf and beanie if your long coat isn't enough to keep you warm. Layering pieces that can go with several outfits are always great to pack, and as someone who lives in sunny Los Angeles, I now relish the trips where I can finally pack my versatile winter clothes.
Track Jacket + Comfy Jeans
I've worn Adidas shorts on so many trips now, and I've found that sporty pieces are the best to pack. They are durable, made to withstand the elements, and come in handy when you start sweating from all those steps you're getting in. A track jacket is a great piece to wear over a T-shirt or tank. Simply add some fun jeans and a colorful bag, and you'll feel like a street style star wherever you are.
White Blouse + Black Maxi + Sneakers
A sheer white top is a godsend for those extremely hot travel days. Also, I've worn this black cotton maxi skirt on countless trips. It's one of the best travel items I own thanks to the breezy fit and elastic waist.
Cutout Dress + Sandals + Net Bag
If it's more of a beach vacation, you definitely want to travel with some comfortable sandals and a larger tote that can fit all your beach-day belongings. I find that these net bags fold very flat in a suitcase, but they can fit a seemingly endless amount.
Lauren Adhav is a freelance fashion editor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Orlando, Florida, she always wanted to work at a fashion magazine. After finally getting an internship at Town & Country in 2015, she moved to New York City and continued to get her footing in the industry with stints at Cosmopolitan , W magazine, Harper's Bazaar , and Moda Operandi. In 2017, she returned to Cosmo full time, starting off as the beauty and fashion editorial assistant and working her way to fashion editor. She contributed to both the website and print issues, pitching new ideas, forecasting trends, covering red carpet events, and informing the overall coverage and brand voice. After five years in NYC, she moved to the West Coast for the sunshine and the change of pace. As a freelance fashion editor, she still contributes to Cosmo and now Who What Wear. She's always trying to get ahead of the next big trend before it goes mainstream and loves discovering fashion brands with a unique point of view (Chopova Lowena, Sandy Liang, and Bode being some of her current favorites). She also spends an unhealthy amount of time online shopping for the perfect piece, and now that she's in L.A., she's rediscovering her soft spot for malls. On the weekends, you can find her walking around the Silver Lake Reservoir, trying to catch up on her tan at Venice Beach, and probably ordering a Chinese chicken salad at Joan's on Third.

The Best Travel Outfits for Plane Rides, Road Trips, and More
Dress for the journey as much as the destination.
In This Article
Some of us may be quite rusty when it comes to savvy travel planning. Before we all spent an extended stretch stuck at home, many of us were able to skillfully pack a tote for a weekend getaway in eight minutes flat, remembering every essential without overstuffing. But this year, the task may feel a bit more foreign as we head into the summer with (hopefully) a few more plans to get out of town than we've had in a while. There’s also the matter of the travel outfit, a look that shouldn’t merely be an afterthought compared to everything else you're bringing on vacation—after all, you'll be wearing it for a long stretch of time and may even want something you can wear for your first activities the moment you arrive.
Whether you’re leaving for a two-hour flight or a 20-hour road trip, travel outfits should tick all the boxes: they’re comfortable, practical, and complement the rest of what you’re bringing for your final destination. This means matching sets you can break up and style into separate outfits later, light layers that work for air-conditioned train compartments and post-sunset beach strolls alike, and even swimsuits that can double as bodysuits.
Read on to find the 15 best travel outfit ideas as you plan your next departure.
The Jumpsuit
Design by Tiana Crispino
Keep travel simple with one of Alex Mill’s jumpsuits—this terry style feels especially summer-ready—and a cozy pair of socks. These Comrad ones are compression socks, ideal for extra-long flights.
Shop The Look
The button-front dress.
To build the perfect travel outfit, choose versatile pieces. This button-front dress can serve as a comfortable en-route look, a beach cover-up, a long, layered top over denim, and more.
The Jeans and Tee
For a not-so-standard jeans-and-tee ensemble, opt for wide-leg denim and a fun, functional pair of sandals that you can keep wearing once you reach any beach destination.
The Standard Stitch
LoveShackFancy x Manebi
The Cardigan
Get vacation started early by wearing your favorite summer dress for the journey. Layer on a sweater for any blasting AC you might encounter while en route.
Matteau + Net Sustain
The Polished Athleisure
Keep things sporty and sleek with a travel outfit combination of bike shorts, sneakers, and a tailored blazer . These are three versatile items you can always restyle over the course of your vacation.
Frankie Shop
The Coordinating Sweats
When it comes to travel outfits, you can't get comfier than sweats, and a coordinating set allows you to look stylish with no fuss whatsoever, even if you take a mid-journey nap.
The Swimsuit-As-Bodysuit
A trick to piecing together a great travel look is to use items you were going to pack for vacation anyway, such as a swimsuit . Style this one-piece as if it were a bodysuit and use a colorful oversized tote as your carry-on.
The Travel Wrap
We swear by a cashmere travel wrap in any season, as it can double as a blanket, scarf, sweater, or whatever you need it for. Style this one with a graphic tee and jeans for your next plane ride.
White + Warren
The Classic Button-Down
We always travel with a classic, button-down shirt that can be worn as is, tied up with a skirt, or draped over a swimsuit as a cover-up. Make even more use of the versatile piece by wearing it with shorts and a bucket hat as you head to your getaway.
Frank & Eileen
The Loose-Fit Dress
A printed dress that barely touches your body is a summertime essential, and that’s especially true for any long days of travel. Just add sneakers and a statement mask.
The Maxi Dress
Pair a maxi dress with a timeless denim jacket. This creates an effortlessly put-together look, even if you only have 30 seconds to toss it on before running to catch an early morning flight.
Zelie for She
Violeta by Mango
Arlo Skye x Dusen Dusen
The Light Layers
Pack with light layers in mind, such as with this "shacket" ensemble. This will come in handy when the summer temperature drops after sunset.
Avec Les Filles
Ganni x Levi's
Girlfriend Collective
The Beach-Ready Look
A quick jaunt to a nearby coastal town calls for a travel outfit that can go directly from the car to your beach towel. Accomplish this by throwing some summery trousers over your swimsuit , then complete the look with a basket bag.
Dodo Bar Or
The Knit Set
Another stylish option when you'd prefer sophisticated loungewear is a knit set. Once you reach your vacation spot, the pieces can separately be styled into tons of other ensembles, as well.
Selva Negra
Dear Frances
The Trench Coat
If you’re drawn to truly classic pieces, the trench coat is a perfect layer for the road. Dress it down with cozy leggings and an oversize tote.

Do you tend to reach for one outfit all the time in your closet? The same can be said for travel outfits. Our readers share their recommendations for the all time best travel outfits so you can feel comfortable and chic wherever you go. Find out what they said!
The Best Travel Outfits
As you can guess from our name, we’re all about traveling fashionably while still staying comfortable and weather-appropriate. We’re also big on capsule wardrobes and packing minimally.
With this in mind, we asked our readers the ultimate question:
If you could only wear one outfit every single day for an entire trip, what would it be?
Here’s what our readers say are the best travel outfits:
Cardigan | Top | Bag | Sunglasses | Earrings | Skirt | Lipstick | Flats
Feminine Chic
“ A sleeveless top, cardigan, black skirt, and ballet flats . I think that could be dressed up or down for most of my activities.”
If you prefer dresses and skirts to pants, this is a great travel outfit idea for summer or warmer spring and fall seasons. This type of outfit can easily be dressed up or down, so you can take it from day or night.
For cooler seasons, swap the sleeveless top for a sweater and add tights. Another reader recommended adding a scarf to this look for a pop of color or warmth.
Backpack | Boots | Dress | Lipstick | Leggings | Necklace | Palette
Winter Romance
“ Merino wool dress or tunic, black leggings, necklace, and ankle boots. ”
When we envision strolling down the old cobblestone streets of Europe, we think of this outfit. There’s nothing more comfy and cozy yet chic and sophisticated as a dress with tights and boots.
Even if you don’t normally wear dresses, a merino tunic with leggings is a nice alternative, and is comfy enough for plane rides while stylish enough for a dinner at a nice restaurant.
For ankle boots, go for a flat heel if you plan on walking a lot, or a short heel for dressier occasions.
You can still pack your light in a small suitcase even when you travel in winter by using packing cubes to compress your clothing as shown in this video !
Hat | Jeans | Sunglasses | Bag | Top | Earrings | Sandals | Lipstick | Sunscreen | Cardigan
Beachside Casual
“ My distressed girlfriend jeans, a white or black tee, long open cardigan, and my flip flops !”
As much as dressing up is fun, there’s nothing better than jeans and a tee. Girlfriend jeans are the most comfortable jeans style. To keep from looking sloppy, go for a slimmer fitting tee.
When you’re by the beach or in locations like Florida or Southern California, take along a duster cardigan for warmth and flip flops for shoes.
And if you aren’t a fan of jeans, another reader recommended swapping denim pants for a maxi skirt.
Top | Scarf | Longsleeve | Bag | Earrings | Leggings | Spray | Boots
Airplane Comfort
“ Comfy leggings, a soft material t-shirt, ankle boots, and my Icebreaker long-sleeve shirt layered over the t-shirt in case it gets cold.”
Planes are notoriously horrible in terms of temperature. Sometimes it’s freezing, while other times it’s stuffy and hot. This outfit is the perfect solution.
We recommend workout-type leggings, which help you keep a steadier body temperature. The t-shirt will keep you comfy if it gets warm. If it’s cold, layer with the long-sleeve shirt.
Ankle boots will keep your feet warm, too. For an easier trip through security, go for a slip-on or zip style bootie so you can quickly slip them on or off. Or, pull on some compression socks for comfort.
Cardigan | Watch | Top | Earrings | Sunglasses | Shoes | Bag | Jeans
Sporty and Stylish
“ Jeans, a tee, a boyfriend cardigan, and Superga tennis shoes .”
So many readers recommended the ultimate three-piece outfit formula: jeans, a tee, and sneakers. One recommended black jeans with a white v-neck tee for classic sophistication. Or, go for more colorful options if you’re traveling to South America, Spain, or another location known for color.
When it gets cool, layer with a boyfriend cardigan or an open chambray button down top.
And for sneakers, we can’t get enough of Superga . White is perfect for a preppy style, while black or grey is great if you’re worried about getting them dirty.
Bracelet | Sunglasses | Sandals | Dress | Lip Balm | Necklace | Bag
Fashion Meets Function
“If I had to choose just one outfit, I’d go for a simple black dress and Birkenstocks with my favorite leather fringe necklace .”
A black dress is the perfect combination of fashion and function. Black never goes out of style, and you can go longer without washing it. You can easily transform it with jewelry and scarves.
As for shoes, we love Birkenstocks! They’re the comfiest sandals with amazing support. There are so many styles, too, so there’s something for everyone.
Blouse | Coat | Scarf | Lipstick | Bag | Flats | Pants
Classic Sophistication
“ Black ankle-length pants, a white button down blouse, ballet flats, a trench coat and silk scarf .”
When you’re traveling to France or Italy, what better than to take a styling cue from Audrey Hepburn! A white-button down is always a classic option, and there are a number of non-ironing styles, too.
Another reader recommended this same outfit but swapped the flats for loafers and the black pants for dark skinny jeans.

I find it almost impossible to withstand the cold (-2-10), specifically in England, by wearing tights under a dress. I’ve tried thermal with jeans, freezing cold still. I’ve tried fleece lined pants, still very cold. I pair them with tall leather boots. I’m allergic to wool, so wool base layer is out. What can I do to keep my legs warm if I choose to wear tights? I was thinking thermal under the dress, but then I’ll bulk up and the “look” isn’t quite going to be there. ?
Hi Eunice, thanks for your question! For other options please take a look at these posts for some ideas: https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/tights-for-women/ https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-pack-for-cold-weather/ https://www.travelfashiongirl.com/how-to-pack-for-cold-weather/ Hope this helps 🙂
Thank you, Alex. I’ve been following your page for sometime now and have benefitted greatly from the articles I’ve read. This is still very tricky for me. What I meant is that if I still choose to wear a woollen dress, yet still feel freezing cold with fleece lined tights, do you think it’ll work if I wear another layer of thermal under the tights? Wouldn’t that bulk up, hence less attractive looking? I don’t have ultra slim legs to begin with ?
Hi Eunice, If you’re wearing a dress I’d wear a pair of regular black tights under a pair of fleece or warm leggings. It’s warmer than you’d think :). Hope this helps!
I’m going premium flight to Barbados and I want to wear a dress with 3” wedges, I’ll change my footwear for the flight. I’m 5’1 and size 16. I’m aware that I’m limited but I’m going to find a creaseless fabric probably navy spot or tan. I fancy midi length. Have you any ideas please? I’m 61 years of age but still like to dress trendy.

The Ultimate Guide On How To Plan Your Travel Outfit (For Women)

Cute, cozy, and crams easily into a suitcase — challenge accepted. Packing your travel outfit to go abroad doesn’t have to be intimidating. In fact, it’s a breeze.
Some key tips to remember when choosing a travel outfit is to stay neutral, simple, and know that less is more. So say buh-bye to the heels, grab the sandals, and fly off into holiday mode.
Here are some go-to packing tips for ladies planning their travel outfit for going abroad.
Must-have clothing for all types of travel:
Regardless of your travel plans, there are a few travel outfit items that you will want to bring no matter the climate of your destination. The following will be some of your go-to pieces:
1. Good quality shoes
No, this doesn’t mean seven different pairs of shoes. Whether you need snow boots, hiking boots, comfy flats, or sandals, you’ll realize quickly how thankful you were to have invested in a good pair of shoes to keep your feet happy and healthy.
2. Black leggings and a cardigan
Black leggings and a cardigan are going to get tons of use no matter where you are going. Even in the hottest climates where you intend to live in your beach clothes and flip-flops, you’ll realize quickly that the aircon can possibly be on full blast on a subway or café and you may end up freezing.
A cardigan can also be used as a backup blanket on those long bus rides or flights. Leggings can save you from nasty bug bites in humid weather. They can also be dressed up or dressed down which makes it easier to pack less in your luggage.
3. Versatile Travel Dress
What’s more versatile than a dress that can be worn 20 different ways ? Whether you’re off to the beach, a night out, or cozying up at a campfire, you’ll have the go-to dress-or-top-or-pants that you may just end up wearing every day. Best off, this one is wrinkle free!

4. Plain and comfy t-shirts
Bring a few plain and comfy t-shirts that can go with any outfit. If you can, stay away from 100% cotton as it wrinkles easily and is not always sweat proof for those lugging large backpacks or heading into the humidity.
5. Swimsuit
Don’t forget a swimsuit . Whether you’re relaxing on a tropical beach or warming up at hot springs amongst a winter wonderland, a swimsuit is a must for your vacay abroad.
Keep your main travel outfit items neutral and dark. You can bring some colorful accessories to brighten up your style. Items such as headbands, scarves, necklaces, a watch, and earrings can change up any outfit.
Clothing to bring when traveling to warmer areas:
If you’re off on a backpacking adventure into the tropical heat, you’ll be able to live off of a bit less. The weight adds up quickly and if you plan on backpacking, you will definitely want to minimize. Bring items that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.
1. Boots/runners and sandals
You will need a quality pair of hiking boots or good runners and a comfy pair of sandals . Yes, two pairs of shoes are really all you need.
2. Non-denims and tank tops
You’ll need a few pairs of non-denim shorts and tank tops. Denim is scratchy and doesn’t mix well with sweat. Flowy shorts, skirts, and tank tops that aren’t going to stick to your body are a good idea. Bring at least one pair of loose and flowy pants . They’ll protect your legs from bug bites, sunburn, and any scratchy bushes that you may trek through.
3. Sports bras
Pack a couple of good sports bras , as you will find sports bras much more comfortable in the humidity. Regular bras are fine, but you’ll realize that sports bras are much more practical, comfortable, and easier to pack.
4. A sarong
View this post on Instagram A post shared by L E A L I N N (@lealinn_) on Nov 5, 2018 at 9:52am PST
A sarong is a must for any backpacker going somewhere warm. The bonus is that these can be used as a beach towel, blanket, pillow, skirt, dress, cardigan, and much more ! If you’re visiting a bunch of temples, it can be used to cover your knees or shoulders. It also fits easily into your bags when packing. You will not regret bringing this along for your trip abroad.
5. A rain jacket
Don’t forget a rain jacket . Not just something water resistant to a slight drizzle. Tropical areas have two seasons — rainy and dry. Check the weather beforehand, but you will be thankful for carrying a rain jacket or poncho when you step outside.
Bring a hat or buy one once you are abroad. Whether a baseball cap or a floppy hat, it’ll keep the sun out of your face, saves you from bed head, and is an easy accessory.
If you’re planning to travel in the heat, just accept the fact that you will sweat —morning, noon, and night! No fear, for you have flowy clothing, comfy sports bras, and hats or headbands to save your hair. But with that glistening glow of sunshine, you’ll be looking great no matter the weather.
Must-Do Things In Boston That Everyone Will Love
Clothing to bring when traveling to colder areas:.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by JONNA LEPPÄNEN (@jonnalepp) on Nov 4, 2018 at 11:49am PST
Off on a cool and wintery holiday? If you are traveling somewhere cold, you will likely be wearing a similar type of travel outfit most days: your go-to jacket, a comfortable pair of pants, and boots to trek through snow or ice if need be.
1. Wear all of your bulky clothing items on the airplane
Puffy coat, sweater, boots, jeans or leggings, scarf, and beanie . Maybe it takes you a while to undress for TSA, but it’s the best way to save space while traveling.
2. No more than two pairs of jeans/leggings
Whether you’re a jeans or leggings gal, you really don’t need to pack more than two pairs. Jeans are a bit bulkier, so if you like to wear both, wear your jeans on the plane and roll up your leggings into your luggage.
3. Sweaters and thermals
As for tops, a couple of easy to pack sweaters and thermals will barely be noticed under your bulky coat. So don’t worry yourself too much about fashion and think practical. Don’t bring all of your fat and chunky sweaters. Try to think thin and simple.
4. Stay neutral
If possible, keep your jacket, boots, and pants more neutral. You can get a pop of color with different scarves, hats, gloves, and leg warmers. These items will pack easily, keep you warm, and give you different options.
Clothing for long-term travel:
For those traveling longer than just a quick holiday, bring the basics and count on shopping abroad for anything else.
No need to shove every item you own into your suitcase.
Most clothing items can be bought once you are abroad. However, some people have their favorites from home.
Crucial necessities you may want to bring from home would be jeans, bras, thermals, favorite dress clothes, and hiking boots . You’ll have less to worry about once you are overseas and can grab that cute vintage floral dress that you keep spotting in that new local shop.
Pro-packing tips:
- Wear your bulkiest clothes and shoes on the airplane!
- Either roll your clothes or grab some compression bags to easily fit your clothing into your luggage. Keep in mind, there’s no wrinkle-free method, but you can always bring a travel-sized steamer to attack those creases upon arrival.
- Pack your undies and socks last. They can be shoved into the crevices of your bags where nothing else can possibly fit.
- Leave your super nice trendy designer clothes at home. There’s always a chance of losing something, tearing it, or wanting to leave it behind to buy something else that you would replace it with anyway.
- Don’t overdo it! You will surprise yourself with the ability to live off of less when traveling abroad.
Packing to travel abroad is easy!
Overall, remember why you are off on your adventure away. You can still look and feel great even when packing minimally. Just keep your travel outfit neutral, keep it simple, and change it up with accessories rather than too many different bulky clothing items.
Bon voyage!

35 Best Women's Loungewear Sets to Pack on Your Next Trip
By Madison Flager and Paris Wilson
All products featured on Condé Nast Traveler are independently selected by our editors. However, when you buy something through our retail links, we may earn an affiliate commission.
Some may argue that traveling by plane is an occasion to dress up, but for most of us at Traveler, comfort is the main priority when planning a transit day ensemble: You want something loose enough that you won't need to readjust (or worse, unbutton) a few hours into a flight or road trip, but put-together enough to feel that you've made a switch out of pajamas and into a true outfit. Luckily, there is no shortage of loungewear sets these days.
Read on for 35 of the best loungewear sets to add to your travel wardrobe , many of which are sitting in our editors' dresser drawers. From upscale sweatsuits to cozy cashmere knits, they'll keep you comfy whether you're sitting on a plane, train, or in the passenger seat, and will get a re-wear on lazy vacation days when the only item on your to-do list is lounging around the Airbnb .
This article has been updated with new information since its original publish date. Additional reporting by Meaghan Kenny.
The Aerie LumberJane collection has been one of the brand's more popular releases. The collection features breathable, lightweight waffle fabric in shirts, shorts, and now polos. The LumberJane polo and short set are perfect for lazy vacation days spent shuffling around in your slippers . Each piece has raw seams along the sleeves, sides, and back that gives it a more lived-in look.
Buck Mason is at the forefront of elevated essentials. The Vintage Interloop set features an oversized crew that has a relaxed fit all around and thinly ribbed stiching on the cuffs to give more structure to the slouchy sleeves. The French terry sweatpants are slimming and so comfortable. Each set looks slightly different than the other, thanks to Buck Mason's Venice Wash technique that creates its cool, vintage look.
We're always raving about Girlfriend Collective, a size-inclusive, sustainably- and ethically-made brand. This set is made from half recycled, half organic cotton. They're available in your classic neutral colors, as well as this rich wine hue.
Kim Kardashian's shapewear and loungewear brand Skims never misses when it comes to cozy sets. The Cotton Fleece collection is a more sporty take on classic loungewear. The soft fleece shorts have an interior drawstring at the waist for a more customizable fit.
This chic pullover and sweat shorts both don the recognizable Alexander Wang logo. While the set is one of the trendiest pieces on our list, you'll be pleasantly surprised at just how soft the heavy brushed cotton terry is. Style the set with a small crossbody bag and pair of chunky dad sneakers for quick errands or walks around the city.
You can never go wrong with a simple high-waisted pant and tank top combo. The Anrabess sleeveless set is lightweight and thin, making it supremely packable in any weekender bag or carry-on. At just $30, it is one of the most affordable loungewear sets on our list.
Is there anything easier than throwing on a jumpsuit? Spanx AirEssentials jumpsuit is one of the brand's bestsellers—and it's just been restocked in more colors. We love the drawstring tie at the waist that gives the jumpsuit a more fitted and flattering look.
Traveler 's commerce producer, Paris Wilson , swears by Roots' loungewear. “I've been raving about Roots for years. It's hard to find a brand that doesn't skimp on quality,” she says. The Luxe Crew and Pintuck pant are made from a cotton and cashmere blend. While the material gives it a more chic look, the fit of the set is more relaxed and loose. This can easily be dressed up or down, and would look great with a sleek pair of white sneakers .
The loose fit of the Ramona sweatshirt compliments the brand's drawstring waist Jane shorts. The rouched terry fabric on the inside of each garment keeps you warm and cozy without overheating. As warmer days approach, the yellow dip-dye design is a must-have for your spring and summer wardrobe .
If you're looking for a more polished look, the Malibu set is for you. The set is made up of the Frank & Eileen Audrey Capelet and the Catherine Sweatpant . Each piece is made from 100 percent cotton triple fleece, making it incredibly soft. It's the perfect set for a long road trip or a chilly plane.
The Cool Stretch collection from Pact is made from breathable organic cotton. The soft, thin layers are a go-to summer fit when temperatures are high and you just want to chill inside. The tank top and shorts set comes in seven colorways and can be paired with Pact's Airplane cardigan or a cozy hoodie .
If you prefer something a little more roomy, the Oversized Tee and Harem Pant set from This is J is for you. It’s perfect for long-haul flights and road trips where comfort is at the top of your list, but you don’t want to step out in your pajamas. The soft, moisture-wicking fabric will keep you dry and comfortable whether you’re snuggled up on a train or plane.
This set is made for cold weather. The thick fabric will keep you warm and toasty whether you’re hanging inside with friends or out sightseeing. The top has a dropped shoulder sleeve that looks more oversized while the pants feature a wide-leg with a drawstring waist.. The set comes in 10 solid colors that are easy to pair with a slip-on sneaker or Ugg boots .
The soft ribbed knit of the Muse hoodie and sweatpant offers a lot of dimension to the duo. The set is lightweight enough that it can be worn over workout clothes without any bulkiness. The high-waisted joggers pair well with the cropped hoodie and offer a more chic silhouette.
You’ll be comfortable from head to toe with this ultra-soft pullover and pant set. The pants have a classic ‘70s wide-leg silhouette accompanied by an elastic waistband, while the pullover has a polo-inspired collar and a slightly cropped hem. An all-white set never goes out of style and will look great with a white sneaker .
The name tells you everything you need to know. The Coziest Cashmere Blend hoodie and jogger are ultra-soft. The fabric is warm yet breathable and the fact that it’s a blend gives you peace of mind that it won’t be ruined in the washing machine.
Traveler editors swear by Lunya's washable silk pajamas and cashmere Travel Set . The brand’s Silksweats complete its holy trinity of comfort. With a sherpa interior and thermoregulating abilities, you'll be comfortable without overheating in this set. Bonus: Both pieces are reversible so you can have two looks for one.
There's something to be said for a zip-up sweatshirt, even if they've largely been replaced by pullovers of late. For one, if your temperature flips from chilly to warm, you can regulate without bothering your seatmate while trying to take off your hoodie. We're a fan of the sweatpants, too: the deep pockets, cuffed ankles, and cashmere fabric are all plusses.
A new addition to OV's ultra-soft, lightweight, and durable CloudKnit line-up : this boxy T-shirt with a slightly cropped fit. It comes in charcoal, navy, mocha, fog white, and jasmine blue, all of which will match your go-to black leggings or joggers .
Awarded one of Oprah's Favorite Things in 2020, I was eager to put on Cozy Earth's ultra-soft joggers, and am happy to report they lived up to the hype. Made of a mix of premium viscose from bamboo, acrylic, and spandex, they're smooth and cool to the touch, and have a loose but not baggy fit. I've worn them a ton on WFH days, and would happily fly in them. Snag a matching pullover if you like the matching set look.
San Francisco–based Quince launched a maternity collection, which includes a nursing-friendly long sleeve and lounge joggers with an adjustable drawstring waistband. All of the collection's pieces are made with renewable materials like Tencel lyocell, a biodegradable fiber made from wood pulp; mulberry silk, a hypoallergenic and thermoregulating fabric; the company's SuperSoft fabric, a blend of recycled polyester and tencel; and sustainably- and humanely-sourced Mongolian cashmere.
Outdoor Voices’ All Day hoodie and sweatpants set really is made to wear from dusk to dawn. It aims to be the softest pair of sweats you will ever wear, and stacks up, with a CloudKnit fabric that feels as cozy as your most worn-in pair of pajamas. The sweatpants are high-rise and more fitted toward the bottom to give the most flattering look possible, too. The pieces can be bought individually and come in six different colors, from neutral charcoal to a rich Kalamata purple.
While former Traveler editor Jessica Puckett's favorite cashmere set has since sold out, Cuyana's Pima outfit is another great option for plane travel and lounging, particularly in warmer environments, as the material is soft, smooth, and breathable.
Former Traveler editor Corina Quinn turned us on to Vuori's DreamKnit Collection hoodie and jogger set. “The DreamKnit feels like a cloud—it's so soft and cozy, yet lightweight, so you don't get too hot or too cool in them,” she says. “On top of that, because there are a few different models of jogger pants and tops, my friends and I have all found a model that's flattering for us.” For a pair of sweats that make you feel like you’re wearing a real outfit without actually doing so, Vuori’s unbelievably soft, stretchy sets are an easy pick.
Friend + Folk is a size- and gender-inclusive brand that prioritizes a limited carbon footprint, and puts it into practice by way of free carbon neutral shipping, recyclable and plastic-free packaging, limited batch-production, and more. The Joon joggers are a favorite—the fit is roomy and comfortable yet still tailored, and the zippered pockets are ideal for stashing AirPods, lip balm, and other odds and ends without worrying they'll fall out as you dash through the airport. Pair them with the Perry pullover and you've got a new airport uniform.
Lululemon may be best known for its leggings and workout wear, but don't skip over the brand's loungewear. This set is made out of a smooth Softstreme material that is stretchy and feels smooth against your skin. It's a great loungewear set to wear if you run hot.
We love this Madewell number, made of a fleece-like Superbrushed terry fabric. Wide legs and a loose fit make it just the kind of thing we want to wear on long travel days, and the patch pockets are much appreciated. Since it does have tank top-style straps, bring a cardigan or other added layer for the plane.
Some loungewear is better suited for inside wear, like this cozy ribbed shorts set. Wear the pullover, with its bell sleeves and slit in the back, over leggings for long-haul flights. The stretchy shorts have a fairly short inseam, so they'll likely be more comfortable as a sleeping short or loungewear piece to change into when you arrive at your hotel or rental house.
This two-piece set might be the closest thing to sleepwear on this list, and yet is still cute enough to feel confident while wearing through the airport. It comes in a dozen colors, from basic heather gray to bold indigo blue, and pairs slouchy, relaxed fit pants with a scoop-neck button-up henley.
Sure, all sweatpants are designed to be comfortable, but the cotton, modal, and spandex fabric Knix uses takes things up a notch. The smooth, cooling, and slightly stretchy fabric feels fantastic against skin and looks a bit more put-together than typical sweatpant material.
Most loungewear tends to follow the same cut, so we appreciate Monos, a luggage brand , shaking things up when delving into clothing. This set is as soft as any sweatpants out there, with a mid-length wide-leg pant and a short sleeve V-neck tee that's just slightly cropped.
Anything labeled Signaturesoft nails both the rest day and flying-comfortably mood we're going for. The top and bottom have a streamlined shape and the sweatpants are tapered at the ankle. Both pieces are made of a comfortable rayon, acrylic, and spandex mix, so you’ll feel cozy while still looking put together. The sweatshirt and sweatpants can be purchased individually and come in nearly a dozen colors should you want to mix and match, and the sweatshirt passes the video-conferencing-chic test, in that it looks more like a standard sweater than workout wear.
Not a hoodie person? You might like this cowl-neck top, which comes with cropped pants, both made of a super soft jersey and spandex fabric. Shop the set in gray, sky blue, strawberry, or buttercream, and wear it on your next overnight flight to feel like you're in pajamas.
You may never want to put on pajamas again after wearing Softwear's Lounge Set. The fabric is buttery soft inside and out. Both the pullover and joggers are tailored and fitted with a clean silhouette—the top could pass for a normal sweater—while still being ultra soft. Plus, it’s long-lasting: The sustainable fabric is pilling-resistant and made to keep its shape after every wear.
Made for pregnant or nursing moms, this Everly Grey set is designed to fit a baby bump and make nursing easier with side openings on the top. Made of stretchy fabric with cuffed ankles and wrists and pockets on the hips, it's a loose, ever-so-slightly tailored look you'll wear again and again. Order it in one of four neutral colors: black, charcoal, oyster pink, or denim blue.

Traveling comes with its own set of baggage – pun intended. Passports, identity cards, and credit cards are some of the belongings that one is most likely to worry about when traveling, and understandably so. However, if you really want to explore and have the best time of your life traveling abroad, you should also pay attention to the clothes you’re taking along and what you wear to the airport.
Sweatpants, sneakers, and a women’s leather jacket sum up the best travel outfits category. But what about the time you are on a luxurious trip to the Maldives or any other exotic location? Wouldn’t you want to wear stylish travel clothes on the way? We would highly recommend reading this article if you are currently planning a trip with your friends – we have some fashion-forward travel outfit ideas as well as traveling essentials listed below. Therefore, this article will serve as a guide to your next travel.
What To Expect In This Article?
Travel Outfits for Women – The Essentials
You can wear anything when you’ve reached your travel destination but there are a few necessities that you should ideally carry in your travel bag to ensure you cover the essentials as well as have proper garments to create a stylish outfit. For example, one must always have a jacket and a nice pair of jeans with them. Not only are these garments comfortable but also extremely resourceful and chic. Thus, here are some of the travel outfit essentials for women.
Leather Jacket
There are several types of jackets that are readily available in the market. But how do you select the one for you? For instance, there is a denim jacket, leather jackets, windbreakers, sports jackets, and multitudes of blazers styles . Every jacket has a unique silhouette, features, and design that makes it stand out from the rest.
A bomber or varsity jacket has a rib-knit collar and sleeves whereas a leather biker jacket has a notch collar with zipper cuffs, and sometimes, even waist-adjustment straps. A leather jacket will be useful throughout your travel as you can wear it with anything – from a midi dress to a variety of tops and bottoms.
Leather jackets are easy to style and come in multitudes of colors and textures. They are extremely versatile and can be worn in different types of weather conditions. We all know that a black leather jacket can be styled in winter, but did you know that you can wear a black leather jacket in the summer as well? – granted the rest of the outfit keeps up the summery spirit.
Trench Coat
A trench coat is an essential garment for individuals traveling to a place with lower temperatures. It is also a must-have if you’re traveling in winter to keep you warm. You can wear a trench coat with many different types of skirts and dresses.
Trench coats for women a re available in multiple colors – however, it’s best to travel with a brown or black trench coat since these colors are versatile and can be styled with everything. You can wear trench coats with multiple footwear and bottoms.
Sweatpants are a must-have when you’re traveling – especially, an ideal garment if you’re looking for airport travel outfit ideas. It’s best to have set in cotton or cashmere if you’re in the mood to look chic. Always have one pair in your traveling bag; best if it’s an all-black or all-white outfit. Sweatpants are part of your cute and comfy travel outfits, but due to the sudden rise in athleisure, it has become a prominent part of semi-formal looks.
Jeans are the most important element in your travel bag. At the moment, mom jeans and straight-leg jeans are trending whereas skinny jeans have been pronounced dead. You can wear jeans with anything and everything – pair them with a blazer or a leather jacket or any top of your liking. Wear it with heels if you’re planning to dress up a little dress it down by wearing sneakers or high tops.
A white tee is the most wearable garment in your wardrobe. You can wear it with jeans and add a layer of outerwear to bring dimension and shape to your outfit. A simple white tee can be worn with jeans or even shorts. The best thing about white tees is that you easily accessorize them – add a layer of vest or a printed scarf if you’re not in the mood to wear a jacket.
Sneakers are extremely important when you’re traveling. These are the most comfortable type of shoes that you can wear anywhere. Traveling requires a lot of sites seeing and shopping. This means you will be walking most of the time, and even hiking if your destination is any of the hill stations. Therefore, make sure you have at least one pair of sneakers in your traveling bag.
Travel Outfit Ideas – Airport Looks to Beach Wear
Whether you are looking for cute travel outfits or you want a posh look for the airport, we have some travel outfit ideas for you. These outfits will be easy to recreate if you have all of the essentials mentioned above.
Cute & Comfortable
There’s nothing more comfortable than cardigans. So what you can do is wear a white tee with a pair of mom jeans and top it off with a cute and colorful cardigan . It’s best to avoid jewelry if you are getting ready for the airport. Complete the look with a clean pair of sneakers and you’re good to go.
You Mean Business
Sometimes you are going on a business trip and so you have to carry clothes that are professional and chic. In this case, you can go for a nice pair of straight-leg or flared jeans and a collared shirt with a leather blazer. You can also wear a pencil skirt with a striped collar shirt and a charcoal blazer. This is one of the most sought-after travel outfits for ladies.
All-Black & Basic
If you are looking for travel outfits for women, you should opt for a matching set. Choose a black sweatshirt that matches your sweatpant. Add a pair of crisp clean sneakers. You can give this look a little bit of personality by wearing a baseball cap. An all-black look is exactly what you need if you are someone who prefers comfort over everything else. This is a perfect airport travel outfit.
If you are planning a luxurious vacation to a tropical location, it’s best to travel in style. Of course, you need to pack a two-piece outfit but don’t forget to bring along your maxi dresses and sandals for the beach. Wear a posh outfit but conduct a boho style all along. Add a bolero jacket for layering and a bandana to accessorize.
Ms. Androgynous
We saved the best for the last – grab a brown biker jacket and pair it with a crop top with rib knit stitching and complete the look with baggy jeans. Another look that meets the androgynous description is comprised of an oversized sweater, baby blue jeans, and ankle boots. You can accessorize the look with a chunky waist belt to accentuate your body.
How Should You Dress When Travelling?
The rule of thumb when packing when you’re traveling is to stay comfortable. Carry your jeans, oversized sweater, jeans, and jacket as well as one formal dress in case you go to a club.
What Should You Not Wear To The Airport?
Try to avoid wearing heels when you are traveling to the airport because you will be required to walk a lot and so heels are not going to be a decision you will be proud of.
What Clothes Do Travellers Wear?
If you are traveling but don’t wish to look like a tourist, it’s best to avoid fedora hats and clumsy, printed dresses. Keep jackets and jeans as part of your daily wear on travel.
How Can I Look Classy While Traveling?
There’s nothing more classy and chic than a leather blazer. Thus, opt for either of these garments when you’re traveling abroad. Keep your heels and wedges with you in case you have to dress up a little otherwise, sneakers would do just fine.
In Conclusion
Travel outfits for women should ideally be easy to pack but one puts in a lot of thought beforehand because of the “what ifs”. The best way to travel is to keep chic outfits as well as comfortable clothes that you can easily mix and match to create fashion-forward and unique outfits.

It has a full-zip opening, lightweight construction and spacious zip-close pockets. Space-wise, this pick can fit garments up to 42 inches in length and it also has an exterior pocket for easy access to small accessories on the go. The exterior zip pocket is specifically designed to hold your tech; there’s a laptop sleeve plus straps for various cords. Built like a mini-closet, samsonite armage ii wheeled garment bag.
Dimensions : 10 x 17.5 x 22 inches | Materials: Recycled polyester | Organizing system: Interior bracket hook, removable hanging wardrobe organizer
Most travel garment bags need to be worn on the shoulder, but if you prefer the convenience of a rolling suitcase, Samsonite’s Armage II is a carry-on friendly bag built like a mini closet. It has a sturdy interior hook that converts the bag into a hanging wardrobe when you arrive and hangers can face left and right to double hanging capacity. There’s also dedicated pockets for shoes and toiletries with waterproof storage. While the bottom panel folds out, this pick can’t hold extremely long garments so it’s best for blazers, pants, skirts and blouses as opposed to gowns.
Best Spacious Garment Bag
A roomy and versatile duffel packed with features, halfday garment duffel 45l.
Dimensions: 22 x 12 inches | Materials: Polyester | Organizing system: Two interior hanger hooks, pockets
Halfday’s garment duffel bag is big enough to pack several days’ worth of clothing while still meeting carry-on requirements for most airlines. Its hanging compartment can fit a size 50R suit jacket (which is about 33 inches long) and there are two hanger hooks to comfortably add a dress shirt, skirt or blouse to the mix. Once you zip the hanging pocket against the wall of this bag, the large interior then functions as a traditional duffel, with ample space to pack an additional five days’ worth of outfits. Like other options on this list, several smaller pockets keep you well organized, including an exterior zip pocket and two interior shoe pockets. Other helpful features include a padded handle, shoulder strap and trolley sleeve.
Best Compact Garment Bag

Dimensions: 23 x 17 inches | Materials: Nylon | Organizing system: Interior hanger hook, plus pass-through hanger opening to exterior, pockets
Available in a wide variety of colors, this lightweight garment bag from Calpak folds completely flat when not in use. Made with water-resistant ripstop nylon and designed with several interior and exterior pockets (the zip-up mesh ones are great for easily spotting what you’ve packed), this garment bag can comfortably carry multiple outfits. If you’re packing for a longer trip or just need more space, opt for the larger version .
Best Durable Garment Bag
Made from water-resistant nylon, away the garment bag.
Dimensions: 22.5 x 20.5 inches | Materials: Nylon, leather | Organizing system: Interior hanger hooks, pockets
Popular travel brand Away is known for their well-made luggage and travel accessories—and the brand’s garment bag is no exception. This water-resistant nylon bag is big enough to fit two suits or three full-size garments, making it an excellent choice for all types of travel. There are zip pockets throughout, including an interior pocket for shoes and an exterior pocket for important travel documents to which you need easy access. Plus, it has a trolley sleeve to easily attach it to your suitcase and you can add optional monogramming for an extra $35.
Best Convertible Garment Bag
A stylish and versatile pick from a popular brand, july everyday garment tote.
Dimensions: 21 x 15 inches | Materials: Coated canvas | Organizing system: Interior hook for hanging, pockets
This convertible garment bag looks like a normal canvas tote from the outside but unfolds to reveal a traditional garment bag for your clothing. The main compartment is big enough to comfortably fit multiple garments, and there are plenty of interior pockets for accessories, shoes and personal items. Even when the bag is filled with clothing and zipped up, you still have enough space for tech devices, a water bottle and more. There’s a convenient trolley sleeve on the back and the top of the bag fully zips shut so you don’t have to worry about your belongings slipping out. Also great: The water-resistant coated canvas can be machine-washed if it gets dirty.
Best Garment Bag For Short Trips
A lightweight option that protects dress clothes, tumi garment cover.
Dimensions: 18.8 x 12.5 inches | Materials: Nylon | Organizing system: Interior and exterior hanger hooks
This sleek garment cover from trusted travel brand Tumi is only big enough to fit a few garments, but it's a great option for short work trips or weekend formal events that only require one or two suits. The all-black nylon looks elegant, and the leather carry handle is comfortable and easy to grab when you’re in transit.
Best Luxury Garment Bag
Spacious with smart accessory pockets.
Orchard Mile
Neely & Chloe No. 66 The Travel Bag
Dimensions: 22 x 39 inches | Materials: Canvas and leather | Organizing system: Hanger opening to exterior, pockets
This garment bag’s combination of pebbled leather and canvas is stylish but minimal enough to suit most travelers, making it an excellent option for those seeking a bag that emanates quiet luxury. But it’s not just all about looks. Its main compartment can fit up to six dresses (as well as three suits), and two front pockets for shoes are very spacious. There’s a back pocket for additional accessories, too, like ties and pocket squares. The bag’s removable shoulder strap is another smart touch. If you want to arrive to a wedding or vacation in style, this is the garment bag for you.
The 20 Best Hotels In Rome For Sightseeing, Romance And More
How much should you spend on a mattress here’s what we found, what to look for in the best garment bags.
Your garment bag should provide enough space for the type clothing you’ll need, so before choosing one, consider the length of your trip and what activities or events will be on the agenda. If you’re attending a one-night formal event, a smaller garment bag will suffice, but if you know you’ll need outfits for multiple events or days, a more spacious bag could be in order. Additionally, consider your shoes: if you don’t want to pack your shoes in a separate carry-on, a garment bag with shoe pockets can be helpful.
An important factor to consider when choosing a garment bag is the shape of the bag and how it will fit onto a hanger or compartment while traveling. If you're flying in a premium cabin, your airline’s flight attendants will most likely be able to hang your garment bag, meaning you might only need a garment sleeve . However, if you’re driving or plan to stow away your garment bag into an airline’s overhead bin, a foldable option or duffel bag is a smart choice.
Versatility
If you’re packing one suit or dress, a straight-forward garment bag that you can fold into an easy-to-carry shoulder bag might be all you need. But choosing a convertible option provides you with more options. A piece that converts into a duffel bag could be your best bet since it comes with the most pockets and it's essentially a two-in-one bag. Choosing a carry-on that comes with its own garment bag compartment can also minimize the number of bags you have to haul during your trip.

I'm a college student studying abroad. I'm shocked at how many luxury trips my classmates take.
- I was excited to study abroad in Florence and to take small, cheap trips while abroad.
- My classmates are not traveling cheaply; they are flying to luxury places like Dubai and the Alps.
- I wonder if they are just doing it for social media, but I'm still enjoying my time abroad.
As a third-year college student attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins, I jumped at the chance to study abroad . Trading in a semester of snow and freezing temperatures for beautiful architecture and centuries-old art was a no-brainer.
I was so excited that I filled out the application to study in Florence nearly a year before the day I would depart. Four months in Florence, Italy, was comparable to the cost of a semester at my state school . After talking to my parents and counselor, I believed the cultural experience and travel opportunities were worth it.
I knew that when I arrived, I would have to budget when traveling —doing so through communal hostel stays and low-cost airlines. I was prepared for overstuffed backpacks and bus tickets; upon arrival, though, it became clear that pinching pennies was not on everyone's agenda.
The other students are jet-setting every weekend to expensive locations
The first few days in Florence were comparable to a freshman welcome week. The time was full of activities, including hikes, dinners, and other various ventures to get students to meet one another. My roommates and I attended one of the dinners to make connections before classes began.
Standing among groups of strangers , I expected to converse about majors and hometowns; however, I witnessed a quiet competition between students on who would be going to the most places in the coming months.
Comments such as "I have every weekend planned and booked" or "I would go, but I've already been" were stacked on top of one another as my peers attempted to one-up each other. At this time, I had a total of zero trips planned. When caught in these conversations, I felt oddly pressured to also fill my calendar each weekend, accompanied by the feeling of stress due to not being able to afford travel every five days. I feared I would be left behind.
Related stories
I've been here for over two months, and this conversation hasn't ended. Every Monday, I hear whispers about where my peers had jet-setted to days before. Places like Dubai and Morocco have been mentioned, leaving me just as shocked as that first dinner. I knew studying abroad was a privilege before getting here, but "a weekend in Dubai " was not what I expected.
Nobody is 'roughing it' like I thought they would be
My spring break was only three weeks into the start of the semester, and this was when I decided to take my first trip. When booking, I scoured sites, such as KAYAK and Skyscanner, but plane tickets and hotels were still extremely pricey. Eventually, my roommates and I decided to spend five days in Prague after finding affordable tickets on Ryanair. One of the greatest appeals of Prague was it was walkable, cheap, and had a good nightlife — my top three requirements as a traveling college student.
My three roommates and I booked a studio apartment for around $100 each for a total of five nights. It took us two trains, one bus, a plane, and some walking to get there, but the price was right. I was excited for the following week and felt satisfied with our trip and housing accommodations.
That was until I scrolled through Instagram to see my peers skiing in the Alps and skydiving in Copenhagen. It was almost unbelievable that the people I attend classes with could afford this style of travel while my school backpack was stuffed with a week's worth of clothes cause I opted out of the carry-on baggage fee Ryanair required.
I thought everyone at this stage made sacrifices when traveling, but I was mostly wrong.
I'm convinced people are traveling for the sake of their Instagram
I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that anyone can experience a new country in the span of 48 hours.
I do know, however, that people are really good at making their time away look like the best time ever on my Instagram feed . It's as if they're collecting comments like postcards or putting another notch in their belts by showing one another how many stamps they have accumulated in their passports.
Traveling while studying abroad is a competitive sport with a large price tag that no one told me to train for.
I've learned that such comparisons defeat the purpose of traveling. Maybe I haven't flown on the best airlines or stayed in an oceanfront villa, but my experiences abroad have been enriching and allowed me to engage with other cultures. Best of all? I didn't have to spend much money, and my Instagram still looks good.

19 Game-Changing Cooking "Secrets" People Have Learned While Traveling Abroad
"The flavor was so amazing; I haven't made it any other way since."
BuzzFeed Staff
One of the best parts of traveling is eating your way around a new destination and learning about lots of new flavors, recipes, and culinary traditions. So redditor u/Wild-Eagle8105 asked, "What is one 'secret' recipe you learned from your travels?" Here's what people said (including one of my own favorite cooking tips I picked up from abroad).
1. "i learned a trick for making scorched onions that makes the biggest difference for things like lo mein and fried rice. it's hard to get that high-heat wok hei flavor without the right equipment, but scorch your scallions on high heat in a cast iron pan with some oil until they get some brown marks. then, put them to the side. get all the rest of your ingredients together, and then stir the scorched scallions through. it does something magical to the flavor of the dish.".
— u/ClementineCoda
2. "Quality anchovies are crucial to Italian tomato-based sauced. I put either whole anchovies (if I have them) or anchovy paste from the tube in every tomato sauce I make now, and it adds an excellent umami flavor."
— u/Guvmint_Cheese
3. "I had the best chimichurri in Spain at an Argentine steakhouse. When I asked for the recipe, I was told the secret is to not use very much acid or lemon juice at all. Rather, load up on lots of oregano and, other herbs like thyme and rosemary, and a tiny dash of sesame oil. The flavor was so earthy and amazing, and I’ve never made chimichurri any other way."
— u/Wild-Eagle8105
4. "In Cuba I was exposed to ceviche that had green olives in it. I never had ceviche like that before, but it really opened my eyes. The briny olives work so well with the lime and fish."
— u/TheLadyEve
5. "Fire roast your peppers, tomatoes, and onions for salsa. It makes a huge difference."
6. "Japanese cooking is founded on five basic seasonings, which are represented by the letters sa, shi, su, se, so (kind of like a, e, i, o, u, in English). They are sato (sugar), shio (salt), su (vinegar), seuyu (soy sauce), and miso (miso paste). This also represents the correct order of adding ingredients in the cooking process since vinegar, shoyu, and miso can lose their flavor if added too early."
— u/FiliKlepto
7. "I noticed that lots of Thai recipes call for a little palm sugar to balance out the savoriness of the dishes."
— u/throwdemawaaay
8. "Mexican oregano is crucial for cooking Mexican cuisine. It’s different from what you use in your Italian cooking. It’s more herbaceous and earthier, and it has the slightest hint of spice. Despite the fact that it's such a small part of many recipes, it can make a huge impact on the overall flavor. Pretty much all Mexican sauces use it as the 'special ingredient.'"
— u/hai_lei
9. "When making tahdig (Persian crispy rice), layer the bottom of the rice pot with thin slices of potato or flatbread."
— u/deleted
10. "When making guacamole, just a tiny bit of finely diced pineapple and a bit of pineapple juice is a game changer. You don't even taste the fruit, but it gives guacamole a sweetness that is amazing."
— u/skodes21
11. "When I was in South America, I learned a trick for cooking meat or chicken empanadas: make the filling a little saucy and add some gelatin to the hot, juicy mixture before cooling it to fill the pastry. The gelatin will set, making the pastries easier to fill. When they are cooked and hot, the filling will be extra juicy with a great rich mouthfeel."
— u/yerbaniz
12. "In Indian cuisine, cooking with hing (asafoetida) adds that element to your food that you simply can’t put a finger on. In addition, layering your ingredients is key. Whole spices get toasted first, then fresh spices (onions, chili, garlic), then vegetables, and finally, ground spices."
— u/Mollyoon
13. "The secret to amazing Mexican food: lard. They cook everything in lard."
— u/MercyfulBait
14. "To make home-cooked Chinese food that tastes like take-out, velvet your meats (aka marinate them in a little soy sauce, rice vinegar, and cornstarch) before frying."
— u/Illustrious-Chip-245
15. "When I was learning to make pho, I was told to add star anise to the broth. It made such a huge difference that I add it to all of my soup broths now. It totally elevates them."
— u/dancinginspace
16. "There's a Spanish soup called salmorejo I had for the first time and loved while in Barcelona. It's a tomato soup served chilled like gazpacho, only it's much creamier. I learned that the key ingredient is bread! White bread is blended with all the other ingredients (tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, etc.) to create this velvety and deliciously-textured soup."
— Hannah Loewentheil
17. "Learning to cook Thai cuisine taught me how to be really good at balancing different strong flavors. For example, Thai-style salads (called ‘yum’) are infinitely flexible, but the flavor profile is always salty, spicy, sour, sweet, and umami (all at once). Mastering this dish is all about knowing how to balance the flavors instead of shying away from them or reducing them."
— u/shelleyclear
18. "I discovered soaking onions in lime juice for a while before mixing them into salsa or putting them on tacos. It gets rid of the raw funk. Plus, these foods get a squeeze of fresh lime juice anyway."
— u/Antigravity1231
19. "In Vietnamese cuisine, there's a great dish called Banh Xeo (a crispy, savory 'pancake'). It’s my favorite meal and relatively easy to make, calling for just a few ingredients. The trick is adding sparkling water or beer to make the batter extra crispy."

Travel + Leisure / Reese Herrington
Western wear, cowboy aesthetic, country couture — whatever you'd like to call it — has taken the fashion world by storm, but it's not just a mere passing trend. As a New York City-based travel writer , it's hard to go a block without seeing studded belts and vintage washed jeans , and the trend has spread far beyond Manhattan; I've even spotted it on recent trips up and down the East Coast. Though its resurgence in pop culture features new spins on the traditional fashion genre, Western wear obviously has roots dating back centuries, but there's something about the classic look that will forever exude cool. With celebrities like Beyoncé and Bella Hadid showcasing the best of the Americana lifestyle, this latest resurgence is beckoning everyone (including myself) to give their travel clothes a refresh.
Beyond looking sharp, the Western wear trend embraces easy-wearing, high-quality basics inspired by country living, making it a must-have for your travel wardrobe. It prioritizes timeless pieces like maxi denim skirts and cowboy boots that can be worn and reworn in a plethora of ways to maximize your travel outfit possibilities. These pieces are typically denim-, cotton-, leather, and suede-heavy, making them the ideal transitional garments that can be worn throughout spring (and some of our favorite finds can even be rocked in the summer).
Don’t know where to start transforming your wardrobe to embrace a Western aesthetic? I’ve curated a selection of pieces that I’m absolutely loving this season that will look great anywhere, be it a serene getaway in Wyoming , an exciting rodeo, or even to a "Cowboy Carter" listening party.
Tecovas The Annie Cowgirl Boots
Cowgirl and cowboy boots are undoubtedly one of the most prominent items emerging from the Americana fashion movement, and if you’re looking to embrace this shoe trend, then you should do so with the best: a pair of Tecovas . The Austin-based brand prioritizes authentic craftsmanship to make its top-quality, already-worn-in-comfy boots that are made to last. I’m utterly obsessed with this Annie style, the brand’s best-selling cowgirl boot, and am eager to add them to my collection because I know that they’ll be my comfortable go-to pair of boots that’ll last me years to come. Plus, they'll look equally wonderful with a pair of jeans as they would with a flowy dress.
If you’re looking for a more affordable option to achieve the same look, consider shopping the Soda Reno Women's Cowboy Boots that boast a $50 price tag at Amazon.
Madewell The Santiago Western Ankle Boots
Not quite ready for full-on cowboy boots? Or, maybe you're headed somewhere warm. Either way, if you want to dip your toes into the style, these Madewell ankle booties are the perfect way to start. Beyond their alluring 82 percent discount (thanks to an on-site double deal — just use the code SPRING30 to unlock an extra 30 percent off at checkout), they’re absolutely adorable. Country styles embrace shiny hardware and durable materials like suede, as seen on these boots, which’ll elevate any look that you have planned. And, because they’re crafted with elastic and a low block heel, they go on-and-off seamlessly and will be easy to walk in. Hurry, they're selling out.
J.Crew Maxi Denim Skirt
Maxi denim skirts, and denim in general, are totally country-approved thanks to their utility style that is a bit more polished and put together than a mini skirt. I’m all in for embracing more maxi denim skirts into my wardrobe. They can be styled with T-shirts, blouses, vests, and more, making them a welcomed, versatile staple in your suitcase. In fact, denim skirts are among the first garments that I look for when preparing for a trip, because of the way that they can seamlessly elevate any look. If you want to test the waters on this trend, do so with this stunning, on-sale skirt from J.Crew while it’s 46 percent off.
Wrangler Women’s Cowboy Cut Jeans
Wrangler is among the original cowboy couture brands, selling high-quality denim that parallels the rise of country since the 1940s. Needless to say, you can’t go wrong with anything from the cowboy fashion pioneer to adapt your wardrobe to Western style, but I recommend starting with these Cowboy Cut jeans. They effortlessly blend classic aesthetics with contemporary details for unmatched comfort. Crafted with 98 percent denim and 2 percent spandex, these jeans exude vintage charm with the modern ingenuity of a comfortable pair of travel pants. And at just $50, they’re the perfect garment to wear on your spring adventures.
Amour Vert Violette Organic Cotton Eyelet Dress
Amour Vert
Flowy, flirty dresses add a feminine touch to an otherwise rather masculine trend. And this prairie-style dress not only embodies the essence of country living, but it also serves as the ideal white sundress for the vibrant seasons of spring and summer. Crafted with 100 percent cotton, adorned with delicate details, and featuring a fashion-forward corseted bust, this dress is a timeless and breathtaking addition to your wardrobe. And to complete the look, I recommend pairing with a pair of cowboy boots — duh!
Sézane Women’s Amerie Shirt
This Western-style embroidered chambray snap shirt is an incredibly versatile choice that radiates versatility. With its long-sleeve design, this shirt offers year-round comfort while shielding you from the elements (without causing overheating). It’s also a stunning option to add to your collection of Americana-inspired garments, inviting endless styling options, whether paired with a denim skirt, jeans, or classic boots.
Unfortunately, this stunning top is about to sell out. If you have your heart set on the look, check out the newly dropped Grosy Women's Embroidered Plain Tunic Shirt for $40 at Amazon.
Free People Wilder Embellished Sling Bag
Free People
Conchos are the focal points of any Western look. Instead of wearing the classic disc around your waist, you can sport it on your travel bag. Here, the historically rich accessory decorates the belt bag's strap to add that cowboy flair to any outfit. It also offers the spacious, hands-free functionality of a great belt bag; wear it as a crossbody, off the shoulder, or as a belt bag, and will confidently safeguard all of your items as you explore new destinations this year.
Wrangler Western Shoulder Bag
For a larger option, this adjustable shoulder bag is winning over shoppers for boasting the " perfect size " and a " sturdy feel that feels well-made ." That also happens to be the ethos of Western fashion, prioritizing items that both look and feel good — just check out that stunning embroidery! And starting at just $52 and available in an impressive 50 different colors and prints, the Montana-styled bag is just waiting to be added to your cart.
Mavi Venus Denim Vest
Denim is widely recognized as a premium and long-lasting fabric, making it an ideal choice for outdoor activities and country living. Western wear is known for its practicality, and as such, many denim styles are adorned with functional pockets and comfortable cuts that are perfect for all-day wear. Take this stunning denim vest from Mavi, which features front pockets and a straight fit that can be styled in various ways (and will look great in each of them). Whether you choose to store your lip balm in one of the frockets (front pockets) or utilize them for your ID and cards, you will never regret adding this versatile top to your collection.
Quince Women’s Suede Trucker Jacket
It would be wrong to share a list of high-quality Western wear to add to your travel wardrobe without including a buttery soft suede jacket, and this one from Quince is just what your transitional wardrobe needs right now. It’s warm enough to wear as the temperatures continue to dip and rise, but remains lightweight and soft for hot days ahead. And since the trademark of this style is practicality, you can bet that this jacket is equipped with a few functional pockets to hold onto some of your small belongings.
Livingston Straw Cowboy Hat
Saddle up travelers! To bring your entire Western ensemble together, you need a cowboy hat. This iconic accessory not only exudes a relaxed and cool vibe, but it also serves a practical purpose. Originally designed to protect cowboys from the scorching sun while working outdoors, these hats have now become a versatile (and useful) fashion statement. This utility also lends them as the perfect accessory to shield your face from the sun at the beach, festivals, and beyond.
This lightweight hat can also travel like a dream with the help of a convenient hat clip . Plus, it gives your outfit more style points than any old baseball cap or sun visor would.
Steve Madden Women’s Recent Gladiator Sandals
Modern takes on Western wear draw inspiration from classic country accessories like the studded (and classic) concho belt — which are on full display in these Steve Madden sandals. I personally love a strappy gladiator for travel, as I find that they have more support and grip compared to other styles on the market. This pair caught my eye for its stunning look that I know would be a standout at any festival or vacation that I have planned this season.
Superdown Robyn Strappy Back Top
Plenty of these styles possess a classic and timeless appeal due to their simple yet classy look. However, the recent revival of this style has inspired retailers to think outside of the box and explore incorporating Americana prints, like cowhide, to give a fresh twist to this country craze. For instance, try out this stylish cow print top from Superdown, which will surely make a statement at any music festival or evening event that you have on the schedule.
Werforu Leather Belt
A true Western-inspired outfit is never truly complete without a concho belt. This $15 one from Amazon is embellished with beautifully etched hardware that’ll effortlessly pull together any look, while remaining understated enough to not cause too much attention. Style it with a pair of vintage wash jeans or wear it with a dress to give yourself some extra waist-cinching magic.
