Jenny and Margaret the hosts were amazing. So friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect with plenty of things to do and places to explore. We stayed in the dog house, the shower was amazing and the bed was very comfy. There's no TV but that didn't bother us as we just watched films on our phone after a day out walking whilst relaxing In front of the fire. The welcome pack for the dog and ourselves was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Jenny and mags pàtè is absolutely amazing and we bought 4 to take home. The natural plunge pool and sauna was invigorating. The hot tub was also great but it did take 4 hours to heat and about 4 packs of logs so make sure you leave plenty of time to prep for this. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back in the summer as this place will always be special as we got engaged here and hope we can be together as long as Jenny and mags have been ❣️

Lodges that guests love in North Wales

Abergafren lodge, lodge in porthmadog.

9.9 Exceptional 20 reviews

We have stayed in coastal lodges from the outer hebrides to Cornwall.....but this is something apart. It's not the estuary view or the lodge ( which is excellent in layout and comfort) but the combination of the two. The siting is inspired. You can view a timeless natural world but then step out into it Or as we did.... Lay in bed and view... If you want to forget the world a little.... This is for you

9.4 Superb 398 reviews

I loved the vibe of these lodges. They were ideally situated, not too hard to find and the view I woke to in the morning was stunning! The hosts were fantastic and communicated well with me on the day of my arrival. They welcomed me and were extremely helpful and warm. The lodge was cosy, and warm and had everything you could need. I loved the cottagey details and simplicity. Absolutely will be staying here on my next trip.

Very nice lodges with modern interiors. Very clean. Staff friendly and location great.

Cleanliness, space, character, facilities, warmth and location. It was perfect for a weekend away with a large group of family and friends (11 of us.) We stayed in the two lodges and one of the huts. The grounds are lovely and we were really comfortable during our short stay. A short drive away from Zip-World, Snowdon and exploring the beautiful local area.

The hotel was in a fantastic location for accessing Snowden, and what made it even more pleasurable was that we could park directly outside of our lodges before an early start in the AM. Given the early start, we anticipated that we wouldn’t be able to access the breakfast, but the hotel laid on lunches that we could have from 4am which was a huge, and well received surprise. A great spot, would thoroughly recommend.

Staff were very friendly. Great spa and the lodges were lovely and clean. Restaurant was lovely - Laura was amazing. Breakfast was great.

How does it work?

It starts with a booking.

Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Luxury Lodge Stays

Location North Wales

North wales lodges.

North Wales is a remarkably beautiful region which truly has something for everyone. It’s stunning scenery, rugged coastline and fascinating history make it the perfect destination for couples and families alike.

Snowdonia National Park is arguably the region’s most breathtaking destination, with its wild landscapes and charming villages steeped in history. The perfect spot for lovers of the outdoors, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales.

Walk up Snowdon to its 3,560ft peak and take in the sensational views across the sea to Ireland. If a hike isn’t on the cards, you can use the Snowdon Railway , an iconic vintage steam railway which takes you on an unforgettable voyage right up to the peak.

North Wales has become a real hot-spot for adventure in recent years. While the illustrious National Park may be best known for hiking and impressive walking routes, there are also numerous opportunities to try out other outdoor sports such as mountain biking, climbing, rafting, canoeing, and horse riding.

If that’s not enough thrill-seeking for you, head over to Zip World where you can soar over one of Snowdonia’s lakes at 100mph on the longest zip line in the world, or bounce on giant nets in underground caverns which were once a Victorian slate mine. Adventure in North Wales really is endless!

But that’s not all North Wales has to offer. The region has a wild and diverse 250 mile stretch of coastline which is home to golden, sandy beaches, secluded coves, holy islands, and a rich array of wildlife. Off the coast of Anglesey, there are regular sightings of bottle nose dolphins, bobbing heads of seals, and beautiful birds of prey.

Dotted along the rugged Welsh shores are some of the most well preserved castles in the whole of Europe, each with fascinating history to discover. The famous walled town of Conwy, along with Caernarfon Castle and Beaumaris Castle make up an impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site of architectural splendour and culture.

The bustling seaside towns of Llandudno and Conwy are great for family days out, while the remote island of Anglesey is packed with sandy beaches and picturesque country villages for a real Welsh experience. There’s so much to see, do, and experience in this beautifully wild part of Wales.

Luxury Lodge Stays offer a selection of lodge holidays in North Wales including family friendly sites with activities for children, pet-friendly lodges with lovely walks and luxury lodges with hot tubs for that romantic break.
