Don’t bother!!!

I’ve had to update to this app as the old one had as old version had been turned off. This app is absolutely crap and will be getting removed as every time I’ve tried to open it it’s taken forever to load. I’ve tried to sign in every time as it doesn’t remember my details despite I’ve pressed the save details box and not supported on iOS keychain so that doesn’t save it but says details not recognised. You can’t pinpoint your location straight away it just gives you a overview of the whole of the midlands with loads of little circles with numbers on them. You have to pinpoint the actual bus stop you want to view the times of, if you add the bus stop and the one across the road to your favourites it doesn’t say what direction it’s going, for example the 2 bus stops I’ve added one goes towards Solihull and the other goes towards Sheldon but nothing is physically said on the page so you need to check and then check again to make sure you’ve got the bus stop. Please go back to old version or get this app sorted out!!!

Awful user experience

This app just doesn’t work at all. So many poor reviews all citing the same bugs, I’m so surprised that a professional app with this many faults is allowed to be released to the public. Far from making life easier, it makes it ten times worse if not more. Even the website is out of sync in terms of information to go with this app, and it drives me absolutely insane. We’re told to use more public transport, yet this is just plain confusing. Maybe they can learn how to do things the right way from TFL.
This is awful. All I need to know is what time the next bus is. I could do that from the old app quickly and easily. No chance of that with this one! Why the need to change? Also, I have tried numerous times to register and just get blank screens part way through the registration process and can’t go any further. This app needs some serious attention before it can be considered to be even remotely useful. Take a look at TfL and the Cardiff Bus app to see how things should be done.

Bus timetable information can be accessed in a number of ways.

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is part of the West Midlands Combined Authority and is responsible for providing printed timetable material at bus stops within the TfWM area, as well as real-time or timetabled departure information at display screens at stops or key interchange points.

Printed leaflets

Bus timetable information can be obtained as printed material from various Travelshops and other outlets.

The latest bus timetable information can be viewed and downloaded online from both the Transport for West Midlands website , as well as individual bus operators websites.

Other useful websites for obtaining timetable information are BusTimes , Traveline , and West Midlands Bus Timetables .

Please note that printed timetables either at bus stops or in leaflets can quickly go out of date, especially if timetable changes are made at short notice, or if timetables are only being adjusted for a short-term period, for example during school holidays when traffic levels are quieter.

Also, high levels of traffic congestion will cause services to be delayed, so your bus may not arrive at the times published.

If your bus stop or interchange has an information display, that will show you the estimated arrival of your bus.

Alternatively, if you have an internet-enabled smartphone or mobile tablet device, there are numerous apps you can utilise that will show you predicted or real-time bus arrival information for your stop.

The 25 Best Travel Bags for Every Kind of Trip

It's all about the right luggage.

Whether it’s a two-day business trip to Boston or a boys’ weekend in Miami, there are a lot of different ways your bag can support you. Along with handy features, looks play a part, too; you should be proud of the bag you are toting along. Get yourself that snazzy weekender with hidden pockets and a built-in cooling compartment. Treat yourself to that sleek Rimowa roller you’ve been eyeing since last year. Splurge on that monogrammed duffel to replace the one your investment bank gave you when you signed on. Don’t go on another trip without your new bag, and take some action now.

Our favorite luggage brands make it easy to elevate your travel style . If you need help narrowing down your choices, we have our 25 favorites that our editors have tested and reviewed. Out with the old, in with a new travel bag.

When it comes to quick trips that last a day or two, a duffel is what you need. And Herschel’s Novel bag is, in so many words, the best bang for your buck. Not only is it incredibly durable and spacious enough for several fits (there’s also a separate compartment for your shoes), but it’s also less than $100. That’s what we call a win-win.

Drawing its inspiration from origami, Longchamp’s convertible travel bag is one of the most versatile out there. Wear it as a backpack or carry it around as a weekender, this bag is going to get you from point A to point B with ease. It’s sporty and practical and effortlessly in fashion.

From Karl Lagerfeld to David Fincher to Martha Stewart, all the high rollers can be seen toting this suitcase. It’s got distinctive grooves and an ergonomic design, and it just screams class. Plus, the TSA-approved locks are keeping your belongings extra secure.

It’s also Esquire approved and worthy of an investment.

For train travel, bus voyages ( ooof, we feel your pain ), or even a trip involving a connecting flight, there’s nothing like a good backpack to keep you hands-free and moving at a quick pace. Made of water-resistant nylon, Away’s backpack is a durable choice with padded shoulder straps and a laptop pocket.

Surprisingly lightweight, Métier’s duffel is a luxe option for frequent travelers. It’s thoughtfully designed with specific places for toiletries, sunglasses, a laptop, and the rest of your valuables. A secret card slot in the exterior pocket makes for easier travel at the airport.

In the luggage realm, there are very few that hold a candle to Samsonite. For more than a century (yes, that long), the brand has been churning out travel accessories, always offering quality styles for the day. It doesn’t get bogged down by its history. This soft-shell spinner, for example, features wireless charging pockets and a compartment for toiletries, and it’s made of 100 percent ballistic nylon. It’s also less than $250, which makes is a virtual steal.

Business executives know the importance of a garment bag. When you just hopped off the plane and are running late to that meeting, never stress trying to find a steamer again. TUMI is saving you from wrinkle embarrassment, keeping you put together everywhere and anytime.

We love our garment bags in duffel form. They are practical for traveling with suits or other formal clothes, but you can also use them for quick casual trips. Need more convincing? Check out our endorsement of this one.

In a flexible neoprene, Dagne Dover's carryall is one of the lightest duffels out there. It's got a laptop sleeve, and it also comes with a shoe bag and a dust bag. It also makes for a great gym bag, if you want something that's multipurpose.

We love this duffel so much, it was even one of the travel products our editors can't live without . Converting from a garment sleeve to a duffel bag, its versatility meets a luxurious style for a bag you will have for decades.

July Carry All Weekender Plus

Carry All Weekender Plus

Much like it's name denotes, this truly is a carry-all at its 50L capacity. A large padded pocket fits your laptop, and hidden pockets with magnetic closures keep your smaller belongings tucked away safely. If you are going somewhere for the long-haul, it also easily attaches onto your luggage.

Paravel Aviator Grand Suitcase

Aviator Grand Suitcase

Paravel is new-ish to the luggage game, but in just a short time it is succeeding in the competitive market by focusing entirely on sustainability. The brand's collection is not only beautifully designed, but they are also made of recycled plastic water bottles. It also plants trees through Eden Reforestation Projects to offset the carbon emissions it produces via shipping.

Meisterstück Meisterstück Document Case

Meisterstück Document Case

From the finest writing instruments to regal timepieces, Montblanc offers the kind of items beloved by jet-setters, C-suite executives, and anyone else of that sort. Naturally, this means that its briefcase is one of the best around, and will surely induce envy from the rest of the folks in first class.

Zero Halliburton Large Travel Case

Large Travel Case

When it comes to luxury, you can't ignore Zero Halliburton. This label is, after all, the maker of the iconic damage-resistant aluminum briefcases, so rest assured that its large spinner will stay looking good while its be tossed and turned from the check-in booth to baggage claim.

Victorinox Spectra 3.0 Frequent Flyer Carry-On

Spectra 3.0 Frequent Flyer Carry-On

This Swiss brand makes luggage that lasts. Constructed in a high performance recycled polycarbonate, this suitcase is durable and eco-conscious. It expands by 20 percent and has multiple compartments for smart storage. We also love this piece from Victorinox because you can personalize it for no added cost.

Coofay Travel Backpack

Travel Backpack

Now you can pack for a weekend trip in a backpack. There's a laptop compartment, separate shoe storage, and a USB charging port. Travel compactly and with rest assured that everything you need it right on your back.

Lululemon Command the Day Duffel Bag

Command the Day Duffel Bag

Aptly named, this bag is going to be your 24/7 savior. A water-repellent fabric protects against spills and weather. You can stay organized with the allocated pockets for shoes, laptop, and gear.

Yeti Crossroads Duffel Bag

Crossroads Duffel Bag

You know Yeti for its coolers and bottles, but you're about to love it for its luggage. A water and abrasion-resistant exterior coupled with reinforced stitching makes this one of the most durable duffels on the market.

Mark & Graham 2-in-1 Garment Bag

2-in-1 Garment Bag

This bag is literally a transformer. Going from garment bag to duffel, it helps to protect your clothing with its folding design. The smart silhouette even leaves room for two pairs of shoes to store at the side.

Mack Weldon Atlas Duffle

Atlas Duffle

This reinforced canvas duffle will pass any test you put it through—from the gym to the plane. It has multiple pockets, one that's designated for shoes and the other for drinks and snacks ( remember to throw those out before you get to TSA ), and a slip-resistant bottom.

The trains and stations of the Moscow Metro

2 Comments · Posted by Alex Smirnov in Cities , Travel , Video

The Moscow Metro is the third most intensive subway system in the world after Tokyo and Seoul subways. The first line was opened on May 15, 1935. Since 1955, the metro has the name of V.I. Lenin.

The system consists of 12 lines with a total length of 305.7 km. Forty four stations are recognized cultural heritage. The largest passenger traffic is in rush hours from 8:00 to 9:00 and from 18:00 to 19:00.

Cellular communication is available on most of the stations of the Moscow Metro. In March 2012, a free Wi-Fi appeared in the Circle Line train. The Moscow Metro is open to passengers from 5:20 to 01:00. The average interval between trains is 2.5 minutes.

The fare is paid by using contactless tickets and contactless smart cards, the passes to the stations are controlled by automatic turnstiles. Ticket offices and ticket vending machines can be found in station vestibules.

Planning a vacation here’s your 2024 summer travel insurance guide.

The joy of a summer vacation. But do you have protection for your trip?

Planning a vacation this summer? Yeah, you and just about everyone else.

More than 9 out of 10 Americans say they'll travel more this year, according to a recent Nationwide Travel Insurance survey . Most of those trips will happen in June, July and August.

Not just that, but 40 percent of the respondents say they'll spend more this year than last year. So how do you protect your vacation investment?

Travel insurance is the standard answer, but what kind of insurance — and how do you find it? That's the question many Americans are wrestling with as they make their travel plans.

Protecting your vacation is a serious concern this summer, experts say.

“Travelers are beefing up their trip protection with security advisory and extraction protection," notes Dan Richards, CEO of The Global Rescue Companies .

It's not just that they're spending more. It's that there's more to lose. The ongoing war in Ukraine, the Hamas attacks on Israel, and other violent conflicts have made travel insurance a key part of trip planning.

This summer may break travel records, experts say.

Apple Confirms Innovative iPhone 16 Pro Upgrade

Wwe smackdown results winners and grades after wrestlemania 40, ‘civil war’ star on why the film’s president is not based on donald trump, it's going to be a busy summer for travel.

Overall policy sales for the 2024 summer travel season are up this year, but there's a spike in sales for policies in August, which is typically the busiest time of the summer. "Sales are up more than 25% over last year," says Stan Sandberg, co-founder of travel insurance site TravelInsurance.com .

Western Europe continues to be the most popular summer destination for Americans, with some notable hotspots. Travel insurance sales for Greece are up over 60% this year compared with 2023, followed by Norway and Portugal, which are up 57% and 52%, respectively, according to Sandberg.

Everyone's travel insurance needs are different, according to the pros.

What should you insure when you travel this summer?

Laura Heidt, the insurance desk manager for Brownell Travel in Birmingham, Ala., says there are some things every travel insurance policy should cover this summer.

"I always recommend people insure for the unexpected, such as flight delays, missed connections and medical coverage while out of the country," she says. "If you are willing to forgo the cancellation and delay coverages, which are typically the most expensive parts of a policy, you should still, absolutely, cover yourself with at least the medical component."

Heidt says she's seen a 10% boost in travel insurance sales for this summer compared with the same time last year, and many people are opting for the pricier "cancel for any reason" policies, which allow you to cancel your trip and receive a partial refund of your prepaid, nonrefundable travel expenses.

Travel insurance companies are seeing a similar trend.

"A majority of travelers choose a comprehensive travel insurance plan which includes coverage for trip cancellation, emergency medical, lost or delayed baggage and delay," explains Tim Dodge, vice president of marketing at Arch RoamRight .

He says this year, travelers are purchasing travel insurance on average within 11 days of their trip deposit to receive the additional benefit of the waiver exclusion for pre-existing conditions.

If you're traveling with kids, you'll need extra travel insurance protection.

Get a policy that's tailored to your needs

Travel insurance comes in all shapes and sizes. So you'll want to try a few on for size before you buy. You can actually do that, since most policies have a "free look" period that makes them fully refundable for the first week or two (depending on the policy).

"It's important to consider your specific travel plans and any potential disruptions in order to protect your investment," says Robert Gallagher, president of the US Travel Insurance Association (USTIA).

He says traditional plans offer coverage for unexpected cancellations, interruptions, delays, emergency medical expenses and lost or delayed baggage. For international travel, USTIA advises opting for a plan with emergency medical and medical evacuation coverage.

It also depends on who you're traveling with. For example, if you're traveling with your children, you'll want to consider a family-friendly priced travel insurance plan. But your destination also matters, says Carol Mueller, vice president at Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection (BHTP).

"For young families, I typically recommend the ExactCare plan due to its pricing of two children at no additional cost for every one adult on the policy," she says. "However, for families venturing abroad, I’d suggest considering a plan like BHTP's LuxuryCare, which is designed to meet the distinctive needs of a high-investment vacation.”

You have choices when it comes to family coverage. For example, Allianz’s OneTrip Prime plan also includes coverage for kids 17 and younger when traveling with a parent or grandparent.

Medical evacuations can be expensive.

Look beyond travel insurance for extra protection

Mike Hallman, CEO of the air medical transport and travel security program Medjet , says MedjetHorizon memberships are selling briskly. They offer 24/7 security and crisis response, as well as transportation to a hospital at home if you're injured. Travelers are skittish even if they aren't going bungee-jumping.

"With geopolitical tensions still growing — all the riots in France, Italy, Ecuador and other tourist destinations over the last year — and crime causing the threat level to be raised for the Bahamas and Jamaica, it’s no wonder," he adds.

He makes a good point. Travel insurance can cover many of the events you're likely to encounter, such as a missed connection, lost luggage or a medical emergency. But it's also important to know what isn't covered — and to make plans accordingly.

Beware of travel insurance "overconfidence"

The summer travel season is still a few months away, but insurance experts are worried. Yes, they've seen a general uptick in insurance sales, but some travelers remain unprotected.

"We've started to see early signs that travelers are exercising less caution and are slightly less likely to sign up for travel insurance," says Joe Cronin, CEO of International Citizens Insurance .

By comparison, travelers purchased plenty of medical insurance in 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic. Cronin believes travelers were terrified of getting stuck with COVID-19 in a foreign country without insurance.

"To those who are thinking about traveling internationally without travel insurance, my recommendation is to spend a few minutes looking deeper before deciding," he adds.

Some types of insurance, such as a standalone medical policy, cost just a few dollars a day. A medical evacuation membership is also affordable. And even full-featured travel insurance policies can be cost-effective when you consider the benefits.

"Don’t put your summer travel memories, or your investment, at risk by forgoing the right vacation coverage," says Daniel Durazo, director of communications at Allianz Partners USA . "With international travel peaking during the summer season, an unprotected trip can leave travelers on the hook for costs resulting from an unexpected trip delay or medical emergency abroad."

Bottom line: Seriously consider travel insurance to protect your trip — and don't be overconfident. You never know what might happen this summer.

It's the first drug shown to slow Alzheimer's. Why is is it off to a slow start?

travel wm 25

Alzheimer's Treatment Slow Start Scott Berkheiser, 57, who has Alzheimer's disease, sits for a portrait at his home Friday, April 5, 2024, in Venice, Fla. Insurance denials delayed Berkheiser’s first Leqembi infusion a few months until last December. He said the drugmaker eventually agreed to give it to him for free while he makes co-payments for the infusions. “It was a little crazy,” he said. “It seemed like it was kind of a game that must make sense for some monetary reason.” (AP Photo/Chris O'Meara) (Chris O'Meara/AP)

The first drug shown to slow Alzheimer’s disease hit the U.S. market over a year ago, but sales have lagged, major hospital systems have taken months to start using it and some insurers have rejected coverage.

Doctors also expect some patients will hesitate to take Leqembi due to its limited impact and potential side effects. They say it will take years to learn how best to deploy the drug and that work must be done to improve diagnosis.

“This is the start of a very exciting journey,” said Dr. Ambar Kulshreshtha, a suburban Atlanta family physician focused on dementia patients.

More than 6 million Americans, and millions more worldwide, have Alzheimer’s disease, the most common cause of dementia. There’s no cure, but Leqembi clears a sticky brain protein called amyloid that’s a key indicator of Alzheimer’s.

Studies showed that it can delay the progression of the disease by a few months when given to people with mild symptoms. Some experts say the delay may be too subtle for patients to notice.

The drug also can cause brain swelling and bleeding. Patients need regular brain scans to monitor for that.

The Food and Drug Administration gave Leqembi full approval last summer for patients with early stages of the disease. The federal Medicare program for people ages 65 and over covers Leqembi and the cost of scans needed to diagnose patients.

The drug's maker, Japan's Eisai, initially expected to have 10,000 patients taking the IV drug by the end of March. Company executives have since backed off that projection, though they say sales are growing.

Hospitals and health systems have needed more time than expected to set up their systems for delivering Leqembi, said Alexander Scott, an Eisai executive vice president.

“It’s not like we are adding a drug to an existing system,” he said. “They are building the system for the drug.”

The Cedars-Sinai health system in Los Angeles started administering the drug in early March. Getting there required months of meetings to iron out a plan to coordinate diagnosis, treatment and then monitoring for problems.

“We were very careful about it,” said Dr. Sarah Kremen, a behavioral neurologist.

Banner Health in Arizona also recently started using Leqembi at a couple specialty clinics in Phoenix, a spokeswoman said.

“This is a very phased and staged approach,” said Dr. Alireza Atri, a neurologist who has worked as a paid consultant for Eisai. “As we learn more, we’ll expand and extend it.”

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, started using Leqembi in October but only for patients who live within a 100-mile radius so it can reach them quickly if they develop side effect symptoms. Doctors evaluate three to five patients every week for potential treatment, said Alzheimer’s expert Dr. Ron Petersen.

Health systems are still trying to understand how coverage for the drug, its infusions and the needed scans works so patients don’t get stuck with bills. That’s a significant variable for a drug that can cost more than $26,000 a year.

An Eisai spokeswoman said nearly three-quarters of commercial plans in the U.S. cover the drug outside Medicare.

But doctors are concerned that coverage still may be tough for some patients, especially those too young to qualify for Medicare.

Insurance denials delayed Scott Berkheiser’s first Leqembi infusion a few months until last December. The 57-year-old Venice, Florida, resident said the drugmaker eventually agreed to give it to him for free while he makes co-payments for the infusions.

“It was a little crazy,” he said. “It seemed like it was kind of a game that must make sense for some monetary reason.”

Getting treatments started on time remains another challenge.

Texas Neurology had 60 patients screened as possible candidates for Leqembi and on a waitlist when the drug launched last year. Only eight eventually started treatment. The rest either declined to take it or had advanced beyond the mild phase of the disease when they were rescreened, CEO David Evans said.

“That window gets very short very quick,” he said.

Doctors say more must be done to quickly identify patients and get treatment started before the disease advances. But that’s a murky process.

If people mention memory trouble, doctors must rule out reversible causes like thyroid problems, vitamin deficiencies, medication issues or depression, Kulshreshtha said. Then memory tests for dementia can take a few visits.

Some patients may be ineligible for Leqembi because it would conflict with medication they already take to prevent strokes.

And then getting in to see a neurologist who prescribes the drug can take months.

Those who make it to the first infusion say the treatment process is manageable. Berkheiser says infusions have gone “like clockwork” since his delayed start.

He fits them in between his work as an engineer and training six days a week to compete in an Ironman triathlon.

Charles “Bum” Clegg recently finished his 13th Leqembi infusion. The Salem, Alabama, resident visits a treatment center only 15 minutes from his home.

Clegg and his wife, Carol, say he has had no side effects, and his short-term memory has improved.

“This drug gives you hope,” Carol said.

Treatment access may improve over time. The FDA is reviewing another potential treatment that targets amyloid protein, Eli Lilly and Co.’s donanemab. Eisai is planning to seek approval for an injectable version of Leqembi that would be easier to use. Blood tests may eventually speed up amyloid detection.

But researchers say there’s still a long road ahead. It’s not clear what causes Alzheimer’s disease, and many think combination treatments will be needed to stop it.

“We still have a lot to learn about Alzheimer’s,” said Dr. Eric Widera a geriatric specialist with the University of California San Francisco. “It’s complex, and it’s much more than amyloid.”

WrestleMania 40 concluded Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Cody Rhodes won the undisputed WWE universal title from Roman Reigns — after getting some help from John Cena and The Undertaker.

After Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson appeared on Saturday , there was more than a little Philly flavor on the second night of WrestleMania, including Mummers, Swoop, and much more.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who credits a Pennsylvania football coach with turning his life around , was back in the ring again on Sunday. On Saturday, he and Roman Reigns picked up a tag-team win over Rhodes and Seth Rollins in his first match in nearly a decade.

Prior to WrestleMania, Suplex Vintage Wrestling held matches in the middle of South Street .

Here are photos from WrestleMania weekend in Philly.

What happened at WrestleMania on Sunday? Here are the results of each match.

Sunday’s marquee event featured Roman Reigns once again defending the undisputed WWE universal title against Cody Rhodes.

We got a preview of the fight Saturday, when Reigns and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson defeated Rhodes and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins in a tag-team match that closed out the first night of WrestleMania.

John Cena and The Undertaker help Cody Rhodes finish the story

It was somewhat inevitable.

For weeks, we've heard, almost ad nauseam, that Cody Rhodes wanted nothing more than to "finish his story," and beat Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE universal championship. Before Reigns was played into the ring by Philly school students, Rhodes was escorted to the ring by his wife, Brandi, with his mother and father-in-law seated ringside.

Eagles cheerleaders, Swoop join Snoop Dogg to announce high WrestleMania attendance

WWE announced Sunday's attendance as 72,755 — marginally beating out Saturday's total by a few hundred fans. That makes it the 13th largest single-night crowd that WWE has announced, although this is wrestling and in the past the numbers were inflated a little.

That brings the two-night total to 145,298.

Philly fans boo 49ers tight end George Kittle

George Kittle was surrounded by fellow wrestling fans on Sunday night but the 49ers tight end was reminded that he was still in Philadelphia.

The sold-out Lincoln Financial Field crowd booed Kittle when he was shown on the scoreboard before the fans popped for rapper T-Pain.

A high-flying upset for Bayley in the women's championship

IYO SKY and Bayley's match for the WWE women’s championship could have been an afterthought.

It was the penultimate match of Night 2, tasked with competing right before Cody Rhodes faces Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship.

Logan Paul retains American title with a little help from a friend

Logan Paul could have almost been an afterthought in the triple-threat match for his own WWE U.S. title.

Kevin Owens and Randy Orton are both former world champions, and have more ring experience and savvy.

A Montgomery County family is near the finish line of a WrestleMania marathon

Tony DeStefano took his sons to a WWE event in 2013 but feared they wouldn’t be able to sit through the show.

“They were riveted the whole time,” said DeStefano, who lives in Collegeville. “They didn’t move.”

'HitchBOT was a Cowboys fan'

The signs on the second night of WrestleMania are picking up right where Saturday's left off .

LA Knight, AJ Styles finish what they started at the Convention Center

LA Knight and AJ Styles delivered.

The two stars are known as excellent grapplers, and they worked up a mat classic.

Bubba Ray Dudley helps bring ECW's hardcore style to WrestleMania

It wouldn’t be a Philadelphia street fight without some representation from Extreme Championship Wrestling.

Bubba Ray Dudley, who got his start wrestling in Philly at what is now called the 2300 Arena, just showed up as the surprise guest referee. The Philly-based promotion ECW was legendary for bringing “hardcore” wrestling to an American audience in the 1990s before closing in 2001.

Damian Priest's wrestling journey began outside Philly

Damian Priest learned to wrestle in South Jersey, lived for a time near Philadelphia, and became a star with Philly-based Ring of Honor. So it was fitting that Priest became WWE world heavyweight champion on Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field.

Priest, who’s real name is Luis Martinez, started training at South Jersey’s Monster Factory in 2003 . He commuted from North Jersey and worked as a bouncer to pay for wrestling school. The school has trained a cast of future stars. Martinez dreamed of being the next in the Monster Factory pipeline.

Snoop Dogg serves as guest commentator for 'Philly Street Fight' match

Snoop Dogg made an entrance at WrestleMania and served as guest commentator for the 6-man Philadelphia Street Fight match between The Final Testament and Bobby Lashley and the Street Prophets.

The rapper is a WWE Hall of Famer and longtime fan. In 2023, Snoop Dogg made an appearance at WrestleMania and stepped in to deliver a People’s Elbow on The Miz , the host of WrestleMania 39.

CM Punk helps Damian Priest steal title from Drew McIntyre

Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 kicked off with epic entrances, a strong opening match, and two world title changes.

Scottish professional wrestler Drew McIntyre won the WWE world heavyweight championship with a decisive victory over Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins played into the ring by Mummers

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins brought out the Mummers for his entrance at night two of WrestleMania, even dressing in a Mummers’ costume himself.

The Mummers, famous for their long-running Philadelphia New Year’s Day parade — and of course for Jason Kelce’s Super Bowl speech — played Rollins’ theme music and paraded down the ramp to the ring with WWE world heavyweight champion ahead of his match with Drew McIntyre.

Injured CM Punk gets a WrestleMania entrance

CM Punk is serving as special guest commentator for the first match of WrestleMania on Sunday between Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Drew McIntyre.

CM Punk was originally expected to compete at WrestleMania, potentially in the main event against Rollins, when he returned to WWE in November. He suffered a torn tricep at Royal Rumble in January that kept him sidelined at the event and did have a significant brace on his arm during his entrance.

Action figures perform famous finishing moves in stop-motion

For Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, it was the Sky Hook. For Muhammad Ali, it was the Ali Shuffle. For Thornton Melon, the Triple Lindy. And on Saturday night at WrestleMania 40, we got to see another signature move in from The Rock: The People's Elbow.

For fans of a certain age, they'll remember "the most electrifying move in sports entertainment" from the WWE's "Attitude Era." That also coincided with the last time WrestleMania was in Philly , when The Rock headlined the 1999 event with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who is rumored to potentially be one of the surprise guests at the Linc on the second night.

Japanese comedy wrestling at penns landing just goofy fun.

WWE’s weekend will peak today with the second night of Wrestlemania XL in front of an expected crowd of more than 72,000. However, this week isn’t just about the WWE. Small independent and international wrestling promotions, who flock to town to take advantage of the in-flux of fans, will put on shows for crowds in the mere hundreds.

Among those was DDT Pro Wrestling, who showcased their unique brand of Japanese comedy wrestling at Penns Landing Caterers. The highlight was an unscheduled match between Dan The Dad (Dan’s character is that they’re a dad) and Chiitan (a Japanese mascot who is fairy baby otter who wears a turtle as a hat).

Where is WrestleMania 2025?

Philadelphia is hosting WrestleMania for the first time since 1999, but where will the so-called "Showcase of the Immortals" be held next year?

So far, WWE hasn't released any details where or when WrestleMania 41 will take place.

WrestleMania weather forecast: It's going to be cold at the Linc

It’s expected to be chilly again on Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field and the fans won’t be the only ones shivering as the WrestleMania performers admitted they felt the chills on Saturday night.

“Mother nature was not the most cooperative with us this week,” said Paul Levesque, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, who is better known as Triple H. “Throwing everything at us from small earthquakes to some very cold and windy weather. I’m glad it didn’t rain but it was a bit chilly at ringside. I’ve heard quite a few stories about wind gusts that just put a chill through people. When you have to be physical in what we do, that’s a difficult situation.”

What happened at WrestleMania on Saturday? Here are the highlights.
