Ireland is the land of breathtaking landscapes, friendly people, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. CIE Tours' vacations to Ireland help you experience the real Emerald Isle, whether you’re raising a pint with new Irish friends at a lively pub, following in the footsteps of your ancestors among the rolling hills and picturesque castles, or enjoying the best of Irish culture through tastings and authentic experiences. You’ll see Ireland in a whole new light.

A vibrant arts and culinary scene—and colorful buildings set along medieval streets—make Galway a can't-miss stop.
- Blarney Castle
Kissing the "Stone of Eloquence" may be the reason millions of tourists flock to Blarney Castle every year, but the gardens around it—including its new Poison Garden filled with dangerous and toxic plants—are another reason to add this to your must-do list.
Trinity College & Book of Kells
Ireland's oldest college houses one of the country's most cherished treasures—a beautiful illuminated version of the New Testament Gospels, created by monks in the 9th century. It's one of the essential things to see in Dublin.
Giant's Causeway
Legend has it that the basalt stone columns were set into the sea by giants creating stepping stones—but volcanic activity set these stones in place millions of years ago.
Kylemore Abbey
This 19th century grand manor and its legendary gardens became the home to Benedictine nuns fleeing Belgium during World War I.

This cast-iron walking bridge, which spans the River Liffey, was built in the 19th century. Join the 30,000 Dubliners and visitors who walk across Dublin's iconic Ha'Penny Bridge each day.
- Ring of Kerry
The Ring of Kerry offers one of the most scenic drives in the world, with emerald green meadows, stark cliffs and sandy shores dotted with ruins.
- Dingle Peninsula
The Irish mainland's westernmost point features wide, sandy beaches and rocky cliffs along its edges, and dramatic hills and mountains at its center.
Aran Islands Cliffs
These beautiful cliffs rise dramatically along the entire western side of Inis Mor island and yield great views of the Cliffs of Moher across Galway Bay.
Musicians and artists are an integral and vibrant part of fabric of the lively, cultured city of Galway.
Cheesemonger
Ireland's food renaissance includes many artisan producers who take full advantage of its natural bounty.
- Bunratty Castle
This splendid 15th-century tower house in County Clare includes a living reconstruction of the life of Ireland over a century ago.

Flavors of the Sea
Ireland abounds with the savors of the sea and the folk who fish it.
Fine Dining
A generation of culinary innovation and exploration has made modern Ireland a foodie's paradise.

More about ireland.
To the west of Great Britain, the enchanting emerald green landscapes, meandering rivers, and rugged cliffs create the serene beauty that is Ireland, known as the Emerald Isle. On the east coast, Irish folklore and legends come to life in cozy pubs where warm hospitality and traditional music combine to create an authentic Irish experience in the vibrant capital, Dublin. In the harbor city of Galway on the west coast, the Salthill promenade leads to popular beaches, and in town, you'll find eateries, nightclubs, and theaters as you wander through the cobblestone streets. Situated on the northeastern shore of Lough Leane, Killarney is a popular gateway to The Ring of Kerry, a scenic southwest drive that makes its way around the Iveragh Peninsula through coastal landscapes and rural seaside villages. With a history steeped in Celtic traditions, and marked by sites such as abbeys, castles, and monuments, from the East to the West, Ireland invites visitors to immerse themselves in the warmth of its culture and explore its magical landscapes.

From exploring the rolling hills, to enjoying a pint of Guinness and listening to traditional folk music and Viking tales with the locals, Ireland welcomes you with open arms.
Enjoy Irish folk fun
Soak up Irish folk fun in a Dublin pub, where pints swing and locals sing along, and through a Galway street performance that will have you emptying your pockets into the busker's bucket. When planning a trip to Ireland, we always plan for some spontaneous craic-filled experiences.
Explore Waterford's History
Step into Ireland’s oldest city that has seen everything from Vikings to Victorians. We will discover the legacy of invaders turned settlers, tree-forged swords, towers that still stand tall and the ancient city walls that tried to keep them out.
Journey to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher are a natural masterpiece reserved for the best tours of Ireland. Beaten by the Atlantic for 350 million years, these unmanicured cliffs stretch as far as the eye can see. Take in the dramatic scene as wild salt wind whips around you.
Take in Connemara's 'savage beauty'
This romantic and desolate region certainly lives up to the title bestowed upon it by Oscar Wilde. Experience nature unlike anywhere else in the world when you explore the National Park, climb Ireland’s Holy Mountain or stand on the banks of Killary, the country’s largest fjord.
Walk down Grafton Street in Dublin
The energy on Dublin’s Main Street is electric. Meander freely down the road, exploring bustling cafes and shops, stopping occasionally to be wowed by street artist performance or a musician belting out a tune.
Our top 5 things to do in Ireland
Walk through the country’s oldest city and stand on the dramatic Cliffs of Moher. These are just some of the pinch me moments we’ll share with you on our trips to Ireland.
Books of Kells
See the Book of Kells on display at the Trinity College Library in Dublin. The book is a 9th century Latin manuscript that contains the four Gospels of the life of Jesus Christ. It's the world's most famous medieval manuscript and and you'll also get to explore one of the world's most beautiful libraries.
The James Joyce Centre
The Georgian townhouse of the James Joyce Centre will deepen your understanding of one of Ireland's most celebrated writers and the Dublin that inspired him. Peruse art exhibitions, watch documentaries, see a recreation of his living quarters and let Joyce and his works come to life right in front of your eyes.
National Museum of Ireland
A museum with so much to inspire you, it spills into three separate buildings around Dublin. Stroll through their halls and admire the hoards of gold buried in Bronze Age Ireland and skeletons of the native giant elk, now extinct.
Best museums in Ireland
Ancient settlers, celebrated authors, iconic brewers. In Dublin, Trafalgar delves into Ireland’s layers of history and becomes acquainted with the people who have called it home through visits to its many museums.
Dublin coddle
Discover all the favorite ingredients of Irish cooking in one pot with tender potatoes, sausage and onions, cooked slowly in broth. As you mop up this rich and filling stew with rustic bread, you can’t help but feel content.
It’s no secret the Irish have a special place in their hearts for potatoes. This breakfast potato pancake dish is no exception. Soft, creaminess on the inside. Crisp and buttery on the outside. One plate and you'll fall in love too.
As the old saying goes, Guinness tastes better in Ireland. The beautiful dark brew is not known to travel well, making trips to Ireland incomplete without tasting it from a local tap. Better yet, head to the source and have a pint at the Dublin Storehouse.
Best food in Ireland
Ireland knows comfort. Whether it’s in a pot, on a plate or filling a pint, we'll share their national culinary treasures that will warm your heart and fill your stomach.
What to pack for Ireland
A portable charger
Entire days filled with exploration are a wonderful part of Ireland travel. Avoid the dreaded low battery by packing a portable charger so you can still capture the day with plenty of battery power on hand.
A water and windproof jacket
An umbrella won’t save you from mist, sea spray or wild Atlantic winds. Pack a water and windproof jacket and you’ll be protected from all weathers.
Waterproof shoes
Rain isn't a rarity here. Heading into the countryside you might find yourself amongst mud and puddles. Bring a pair of gumboots to really feel like a local.
Year round you are likely to need something to keep you warm in Ireland. A scarf has the added bonus of being able to protect your face if things get really chilly.
While we all like a good craic, some lively towns love weekend shenanigans with a boistrousness that can interrupt sleep. Pack a pair of earplugs to ensure you snooze soundly.
Pack for sustainable travel
Consider your environmental impact when you next take a trip and go single-use-plastic-free by packing a reusable water bottle, a steel straw, your own shopping bags and reusable toiletry bottles.

From the boisterous characters at the local pub to the vibrant citizens of Dublin, the Irish are a gracious and generous lot. It’s often a chance encounter or rare moment that makes travel in Ireland special. As the natives will tell you, “go where Ireland takes you.” No matter if you have always dreamt of strolling the streets of a picturesque village or exploring a stately castle, Ireland and its people eagerly await your arrival.
Destination Must-Sees
Cliffs of Moher:
Stand in absolute awe of these series of cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day you can see the Aran Islands and Galway Bay as well as other iconic sites. Go to O’Brien’s Tower which stands near the highest point of the cliffs and has been a favorite viewing spot for hundreds of years.
Giant’s Causeway:
Giant’s Causeway was formed millions of years ago by volcanic activity that produced “stepping stones” that look like an old cobbled road leading mysteriously into the sea. This is a UNESCO site and an absolute must-see.
Dublin, the “Fair City”:
This modern yet traditional capital city of Ireland is filled to the brim with charm! Fall in love while strolling through the city’s rows of magnificent Georgian townhouses. See St. Patrick’s Cathedral which dates back to the 13th century.
Destination Must-Do's
Visit the Guinness Storehouse to learn about the brewing process that produces this beloved beer. Savor this world-famous Irish stout (dark beer) that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness located in Dublin.
Irish House Party:
Just a few minutes from the city center in an 18th century townhouse, you’ll enjoy an incredible and fun experience in Dublin. Join in the toe-tapping, rocking fun of this popular music showcase featuring traditional Irish dancing and music at their best.
40 Shades of Green:
Listen up – this melodic song about Ireland was written and performed by American country singer Johnny Cash in 1958. He recalled singing this song in Ireland and being told that it sounded like an old Irish folk tune. Listen to it to set the mood for your trip.
Ah, pubs are THE place to grab a pint of your favorite beverage, relax, and join in socializing with the locals. Strike up a conversation and hear great stories from Ireland’s rich bank of folklore. This is a vibrant, warm and welcoming place to truly get to know the people of Ireland.
Expert Advice
If you have some extra time before your tour begins to explore Dublin, you'll find plenty to do! The public bus service allows you to easily make your way around, or perhaps hop on a double decker sightseeing bus which loops through the city, giving you access to some of the city’s highlights.
As you prepare to explore Ireland — the verdant Emerald Isle — enjoy a casual dress style and be sure to pack comfortable walking shoes. It is recommended to bring clothing that may be worn in layers and can be added or removed as the temperature changes.
While cooking in Ireland can be considered simple, it’s also quite modern and tasty. Favorites like fish and chips, Irish breakfasts, potatoes prepared in various ways, soda bread, Irish stew and shellfish are quite common. All in all, you will eat very well during your time exploring Ireland.

7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small Group Tour
The pace was more than I anticipated. The hotel in Dingel had sub-par accommodations. The tour guide provided cheerful banter and Irish history.

7-Day Emerald Explorer Small Group Tour
Our tour guide, Jimmy was excellent. Did his best to make sure we all had a great day. Both local tour guides, both Barry, were great as well. The Aran Island tour was great, the Ross Castle tour was great and the Blarney Castle tour was also great. We loved the town of Kinsale. What a beautiful place.

The entire trip was wonderful, very well organized, and satisfying. Peter Flood was an excellent tour guide. He was as knowledgeable as could be, funny, and helpful; and really seems to love what he does.
The Celtic Voyage - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland

8 Day Castles & Coast Experience - Small Group Tour
Sean was a perfect guide to have for our trip...knowledgeable, witty, and a great driver! He did a nice job of drawing people into conversation about the trip and what we were seeing. Sometimes it was challenging for me in terms of the amount of walking required...as I have an injury that affects my mobility. But Sean did his best to accommodate me by getting me closer to the site or checking to see if a wheelchair was available at certain locations. Lee drove us to our first location and was also an excellent gracious guide. I was grateful he allowed for a photo stop at Castlebar where my ancestors were from. That wasn't on the schedule...and meant alot to me!
Introduction to Ireland
I was unable to rate my tour guide Fiona. She was excellent. History knowledge as well as cultural insight was excellent . Fiona was very personable and extremely helpful. I was having a little trouble with my back and she did everything to accommodate me. I would rate her as EXCELLENT. The bus driver, Gary, was EXCEPTIONAL A. Very friendly and an Excellent driver. His helpfulness with all of us that had disabilities was very much appreciated. Gary was funny and took a lot of reading from the passengers very graciously and jokeD back. Tour schedule was very good. Hotels were excellent but did not care for the last hotel in Dublin.
Great Tour of Ireland ( 7 days )
Wild South - Multi-Day - Small Group Tour of Ireland
We just returned from a wonderful week! Loved the group size and the amazing tour itinerary.
Focus on Ireland (Classic, 7 Days)
Greg was a fantastic tour guide. He was very informative and funny. Kept everyone organized.
Emerald Isle
The tour was well organised and executed, led by a Tour Director, Kathryn Dolan, who was very knowledgeable, informative, approachable and, in short, always in control of the situation. I came away feeling that I had learned a lot about Ireland, which I had wanted to visit for many years, but had never got around to organising it myself.
5-Day Escape to the South West Small-Group Tour from Dublin
Fantastic trip, exceeded all expectations. Dan was an amazing tour guide. I learnt so much about Ireland through his commentary and he was always so willing to help in any way he could. I just wish I had known that I could combine Rabbies trips, I would have been able to cover alot more of Ireland
Irish Elegance (Classic, 8 Days)
Gregg was by far our best tour guide we have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. He is also entertaining and fun. My wife and I highly recommend Gregg for any tour experience.
3-Day Blarney Castle, Kilkenny & Irish Whiskey Small-Group Tour from Dublin
Loved it!! Our tour guide Tony was so nice.I wanted a small group....and there were only 6 of us on the tour which was great! We loved the Irish people and saw some beautiful castles and scenery. I would definately recommend TourRadar and would do another in Ireland. :)
What people love about Fully Guided Tours in Ireland
I had an incredible week on the Overland Great Atlantic Adventure tour! I went as a solo traveller in my 20s and, despite being nervous at first as the rest of the group were all travelling in pairs, had the best experience I could’ve asked for. We all had a great time together - I found the tour perfect for couples, family, friends and solo travellers alike. Our tour guide David was amazing, very kind, friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure the tour worked for everyone. If you join an Overland tour, you’ll be lucky to have David as your guide, he’s the best! All of the B&Bs/hotels were of great quality with breakfast included every day. The van is very comfortable and has plenty of space for a small group, much better than a huge coach full of 60 people (in my opinion). There was a fair bit of driving but it is inevitable with how much ground is covered. The places we visited and activities were all incredible. The only slight negative I have is that sometimes there were activities on the itinerary that we simply didn’t have time for - e.g. a 2.5 hour hike at the cliffs of moher, and with so much packed in you really don’t get much time to see some places. For example, we arrived in Westport around 7:30pm and left before 9am the next morning, but again that is inevitable with so much packed into such a short space of time. My highlights of the trip were kayaking in Dingle (I absolutely loved Dingle in general and am very glad we had 2 nights there) as well as climbing Croagh Patrick on our last day! The climb was tough but I would definitely recommend it if you’re able - an amazing experience. All in all I’m so glad I booked this trip and truly had the time of my life, I would definitely recommend Overland!
Mike was amazing! We had such a great group of people, Mike was so full of knowledge about the history and culture of Ireland, and it was so laid back. We got to explore each destination at a leisurely pace and enjoyed most evenings checking out the local bars. Highly recommend!
This was my first time in Ireland. I absolutely loved everything about this trip. Tour guide and bus driver were amazing. Totally worth every penny. Would go back in a heartbeat

Our small groups guarantee Never more than 26 guests per tour
We always keep our tour group sizes small. That's because we want every guest to get the comfort, space and service they deserve. Although many other companies squeeze in groups of up to 50, even the largest of our tour packages are strictly limited to just 26 guests. That leaves empty seats on the coaches. So why do we limit our tours to such small group sizes? Here are six reasons.
Superior Service
Guests consistently list our small group sizes as a top reason why they would book with us again. See our reviews...
More focus on you
With a smaller group, our tour guides have more time to get to know you and your interests.
We deliberately leave empty seats on our coaches, so you can relax and spread out.
Experience each attraction up-close and personal, with more time to ask questions and see what interests you.
Speedier Check-Ins
Compared with many of our rivals, our smaller group sizes make checking in and out of the hotels a breeze.
More Relaxed Pace
Experience Ireland at your own pace. No rushing to keep up and no waiting around for large groups to assemble.

Welcome to Ireland
The Emerald Isle bids you a hundred thousand welcomes, making you feel right at home with its friendly locals, windswept beauty, and stones with stories to tell…
Bunratty castle & folk park, step back to 19th-century ireland.
Bring your imagination... expect a little magic... and discover what it was like to live in the 1800s in a small village in Ireland. The houses and shops in the Folk Park are a collection of typical 19th-century Irish buildings such as the school, doctor's house, pawnbrokers, pub, drapery, printworks, grocery, hardware shop, pottery and a post office. From the castle... to a pet farm... to a beautiful walled garden, your family immerses in all things Irish.
Private sheep-shearing demonstration
Watch a sheep-shearing champion at work on a private visit to an irish sheep farm.
In many countries around the world, the art of sheep shearing – cutting off a sheep's woolen fleece, usually once a year – is not only an important skill on the farm, but a competitive sport among shearers who are typically fit and highly experienced. Ireland has produced many champion shearers, including world-record-breaking Patrick Moran. In a private visit and demonstration on a farm in Derreen, learn how sheep shearing has progressed over the centuries… and meet champion shearer Moran and see him in action, shearing by hand in the traditional style.
Kinsale Pottery and Arts Centre
Private recital at st. fin barre's cathedral, attend a private recital in the triple-spired, gothic revival st. fin barre's cathedral in cork.
The magnificent, three-spired St. Fin Barre's Cathedral in the Irish city of Cork looks every bit like a grand Gothic cathedral from the medieval era, but it's actually a Gothic Revival masterpiece designed in the 19th century by English architect William Burges, and completed in 1879, on a site connected with Cork's patron saint, the 6th-century abbot Finbarr of Cork. But this 19th-century cathedral is no less majestic than its medieval counterparts – it's adorned by more than 1,200 sculptures inside and out, including gargoyles – and is a fitting setting for a private musical recital for Tauck guests only.
Belfast's Titanic exhibit and a Titanic dinner
Belfast's award-winning titanic museum... followed by a 9-course titanic tasting dinner.
Learn insider stories behind Titanic, designed to be one of the finest ships ever to grace the seas, on your visit to Titanic Belfast, built on the site of the former Queen's Island shipyards that produced the ill-fated liner. J. Bruce Ismay, Chairman of the White Star Line, asked Lord Pirrie of shipbuilders Harland & Wolff to construct "a stable ship that will not disturb the sediment in the fine wines" they were drinking together at a planning meeting. And while Titanic was, according to her builders, "as nearly as perfect as human brains can make her," she proved no match for nature. Discover more in modern-day galleries that bring the legendary ship back to life... and enjoy a 9-course Titanic tasting dinner in the Great Room of The Merchant Hotel.

14 Things To Do in Dublin, Ireland On a Long Layover With AerLingus
Utilizing a long layover is one of the best traveler hacks out there. With AerLingus offering most flights with a stopover in Dublin, if you're going to stop there anyway, you might as well leave the airport and get some exploring in. Dublin is a relatively small city, and with even just one day, you can tick a few things off of your Irish bucket list. Here are 10 recommended things to do on a long layover in Dublin with AerLingus.

More Things To Do in Dublin, Ireland On a Long Layover With AerLingus
It can be very hard to kill time on long layovers but that's not something travelers flying to Dublin have to worry about. With the entire city at one's disposal, long layovers in Dublin are an excellent way to explore the Irish capital. This list was updated to include more things that travelers can do on stopovers in Dublin when flying with AerLingus.

See The Book Of Kells At The Trinity College Library
The Library of Trinity College in Dublin is one of the oldest libraries in Ireland and nothing will make time fly by quicker than the dark aisles of its 16th-century reading halls. The library has over 7,000,000 volumes of books on its shelves but if there's one thing that visitors must see, it's the Book of Kells -- the four Latin Gospel manuscripts dating back to the 9th century. No matter the time of the year, the library always has at least one volume on display for the public to see.
Catch A Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour
Flights can get pretty darn tiring. Oftentimes, there's very little energy left for anything exciting on a layover, let alone exploring an entirely new city . In that case, hop-on hop-off bus tours offer visitors an excellent means through which to see Dublin without much physical exertion on their part. Simply catch an open-top double-decker bus, grab a seat in a corner, and watch Dublin's top attractions pass by as you listen to audio guides for context.
Get A Taste Of Irish Food
What better way to spend a layover in Dublin than to eat your way through the Irish capital? Food blogger Ketty Quigley's Delicious Dublin Tours take visitors on a three-hour walking trip around the city with stops at plenty of famous eateries in between. As local experts tell tales of Dublin's food history, visitors will not only taste the best of local Irish food, but they will also learn of its past and present. These tours operate regardless of the weather in the notoriously temperamental capital.
Hop Onto A Viking Splash Tour
Long layovers in Dublin are one thing if you're alone or in the company of a fellow adult, but finding entertainment can be a far more tedious task when traveling with kids. A Viking Splash Tour is an excellent adrenaline-filled activity -- and an incredibly unique one at that -- for both adults and kids to take part in when in Dublin. The tours take place on a restored World War II amphibious vehicle that functions much like a bus on the roads but transforms into a boat as it mightily glides into the Grand Canal Dock, splashing passengers on board with the cold waters of the canal.
Drink At Temple Bar
What visit to Ireland is complete without a proper pint of Guinness? Head to the place that does it best, and arguably the most famous bar in not only Dublin but all of Ireland: Temple Bar Pub. Not to be confused with the neighborhood that is called Temple Bar, Temple Bar Pub is an infamous landmark pub with the traditional bright red exterior, welcoming you in to have a pint or two.

Dublin Castle
Despite popular belief, there's a lot more to do in Dublin than just drinking. Ireland is home to several castles, and Dublin Castle is one of the finest . Having been built in the thirteen century, Dublin Castle has since served as home to English and British administration. In 1922, Dublin Castle was given to the Irish government, where it now serves as a popular tourist hotspot. For an entry fee of about 8 euros, you can head inside and see the collection of art, as well as take in the majestic red velour and gold-plated interior.

Chester Beatty
Within the confines of Dublin Castle is what Lonely Planet has described as one of the best museums in Europe: Chester Beatty. Also known as Chester Beatty Library, this museum is home to the collections of Sir Chester Alfred Beatty, a philanthropist and mining magnate who was given the title "King of Copper" due to his fortune. The collections at Chester Beatty include but are not limited to Arabic treatises on religion, Western manuscripts, pieces from Persian poets, and even Japanese art.
Shop At George's Street Arcade
Looking to get a little shopping in on your long layover in Dublin? George's Street Arcade is one of the best places in the city of Dublin to do so. Centrally located close to other major tourist spots, George's Street Arcade has shops ranging from Brazilian-made fashion at Carnaval to Mystic Ireland Crystals. There are also plenty of eateries on site, like the top-rated vegan burgers at Flip Burgers and proper wine and cheese at Loose Canon.
Take A Guinness Brewery Tour
Back to booze because, hey, it is Ireland, after all. Aside from Irish whiskey, the most popular alcoholic beverage in Ireland is Guinness. The Irish take their Guinness seriously. There's a craft behind pouring each one which amplifies the overall taste. If you're curious to know the art behind this extremely popular beer, head to the Guinness Brewery for a tour.

Visit Jameson Distillery
If you're more into whiskey, or better yet, if you want to add a second boozy adventure to your layover in Dublin, the Jameson Distillery is a great addition to your activities. Learn the history behind one of the most popular Irish whiskeys in the world. Created in 1780 by John Jameson, the long-standing tradition behind making Jameson can now be experienced as a tourist. The tour options range from a simple visit to cocktail classes.
See Local Music At Whelan's
Who doesn't love a good Irish folk band? While you are bound to find live music at pretty much any pub in the city, Whelan's is one of the best. You can check out their calendar on their website to see who's playing, and it's recommended to book a table in advance since this place quickly fills up. Enjoy a beverage while listening to some classical local Irish music.
Drink High Tea On A Vintage Bus
Are you less interested in whiskey and stouts and more interested in feeling posh with a cup of tea in hand? There are many tours to book in Ireland , but one of the more unique experiences in Dublin offered on GetYourGuide is a high-tea tour while riding on a vintage bus . Priced at about $50 per person, a high-tea tour in Dublin is a fun way to experience the city from a double-decker bus that's been refurbished to be its fanciest self. The tour comes with food options, including those that are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free friendly.
Cross Ha'Penny Bridge
The Ha'Penny Bridge is a pedestrian bridge located in central Dublin. It was built in May 1816 over the River Liffey and remains a popular tourist attraction to this date. Its central location is close to the popular Temple Bar neighborhood, and the best part about ticking Ha'Penny Bridge off of your bucket list during a short layover is that it's only going to take a few minutes to see it.
Free Walking Tour
One of the best ways to quickly explore any city while learning a bit about its history is by taking a free walking tour . Explore Dublin by foot, see plenty of major tourist hot spots, and learn the history through a local tour guide, all for zero cost. The tour is offered several times a day, meaning it's likely you can fit it into your Dublin layover regardless of what time you land.
Liam Cunningham's "3 Body Problem" renewed by Netflix
"3 body problem," which stars irish actor liam cunningham as thomas wade, will be heading back to netflix for at least another season..
Sci-fi epic "3 Body Problem", starring Irish actor Liam Cunningham, has been renewed for a second season on Netflix.
Cunningham, a native of Dublin, plays Thomas Wade, the leader of the world’s most elite intelligence operation and the strategist behind planetary defense in the sci-fi series.
The Irish actor has described his character as "a shadowy figure who’s not very enigmatic; Wade’s position is enigmatic, but he's very direct."
A synopsis for the Netflix series that's based on author Liu Cixin's series "The Three-Body Problem" says: "A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time into the present day.
"When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history."

The renewal of "3 Body Problem" was announced by Netflix's chief content officer Bela Bajaria during the Netflix Upfront presentation in New York City.
Further details about the renewal - including the number of seasons and episodes - will be revealed at a later date.
3 Body Problem has been renewed! “We’re thrilled that we get to tell this story through to its epic conclusion. Ever since we read the last page of Cixin Liu’s magnificent trilogy, we hoped we’d be able to bring the audience to the end of the universe with us. Here we go!” —… pic.twitter.com/8pSLJF1gru — Netflix (@netflix) May 15, 2024
"3 Body Problem" is created, written, and executive-produced by Alexander Woo and "Game of Thrones" showrunners DB Weiss and David Benioff.
“We’re thrilled that we get to tell this story through to its epic conclusion,” said Benioff, Weiss, and Woo. “Ever since we read the last page of Cixin Liu’s magnificent trilogy, we hoped we’d be able to bring the audience to the end of the universe with us. Here we go!”
Peter Friedlander, Vice President, Scripted Series (US & Canada), Netflix, said: “The extraordinary '3 Body Problem,' brought to life with the deft hands of Benioff, Weiss, and Woo will soar to never-before-seen heights as they tackle the rest of the mind-blowing journey through Death’s End.
“Their brilliant vision as storytellers is matched by their amazing partnership — and, just like the fans, we can't wait to see what they have in store.”
