We did the Vagabond America's Cup Sailing Sunset Cruise and it was amazing!! We had a beautiful night with the perfect amount of wind and a gorgeous sunset. The staff was delightful. We were approached by a pirate ship that was so special. I'm still smiling over this fun adventure.

I got this cruise/dinner as a gift from a friend, so can't say price. What I can say is not only was the cruise very comfortable and I really enjoyed the cruise. I can also say my meal was very good. I got the salad, the roasted chicken meal and the key lime pie. I would recommend going on the dinner cruise.

Good food and service but if you sit at our table, your view to the left will be this. Plus you will enjoy the sights and smells that go with it. Vagabond get rid of this table!!! The cruise was only half full and you seated us here.

The atmosphere was very nice and gray to be out on the water for a meal here in Hilton Head! However, the food was not good. The pork tasted like it came out of the freezer and the mahi mahi was extremely over cooked. The sides tasted very bland as well. Definitely have gotten much better food every night I've been here. The price is only for the view. Would suggest booking a separate boat cruise and eating dinner anywhere else that serves food. Staff was very nice.

We did a couple tours with this company. They were nice and accommodating. On Thursday, our dolphin tour was scheduled for 4pm on Viator but since we were out that way, we called and was able to change to the earlier 2pm tour without issue. They also helped direct us as to where to locate their booth once in the plaza. Parking was a struggle around 2pm. When we returned Friday morning for the 0900 tour to Daufuskie, parking was no issue. The tour leaves and return on time. They sell snacks and souvenirs. You get to sit in different areas, upper or lower deck, while on board. I didn't get to see too many dolphins on the dolphin tour. That was the only bummer, but all went well otherwise. Oh, there is a $9 fee to get into sea pines area where the harbor is located. Would recommend this company.

We were visiting Hilton head and came across this great opportunity. So we signed up for the evening sunset cruise, which was amazing we had the perfect day. The captain and the crew were so nice and made the experience so much better and plus we had a beautiful sunset on top of it. Thank you also very much and well worth the money. In addition, a few days later, we decided to sign up for the shrimping tour. What a great experience never did anything like it and it was the best gift ...when we actually caught about 10 pounds of shrimp and it was sorted and given out to the attendees.

Don't waste your time with this cruise. The boat was ok and the sunset journey it takes was nice. We saw some dolphins and enjoyed drinks on the lower outside deck, but those were about the only things we enjoyed. The food was mediocre at best with pretty small portions. The price for what you get was way too high. We could have ate a much better meal and most of the restaurants on the island, taken another boat cruise and still saved money. I would recommend skipping this dinner cruise and opting for dinner at a restaurant of your choice and then doing the sunset dolphins cruise offered by the same company.

Had a great time taking the Vagabond Cruise over to Daufuskie Island (about a 30 minute ferry- one way to and from the island). The captain and Skylar (first mate) were kind and wonderful! The boat had snacks and drinks aboard for purchase. Be careful because the benches actually move a bit and the back of the benches flip over (if you are leaning or holding onto it for support) and turn into a table. During the ride to the Daufuskie Island, the captain gave a nice history lesson of the island itself! Pretty interesting. We saw lots of dolphins swimming around the Caliboque Sound on our way to the Daufuskie island and on our way back to Hilton Head Island. I ordered my tickets online and it was easy breezy and painless! The next day I just arrived at the Hilton Head Island port and got on the boat (there is limited parking near Habour Town if you are planning to drive). The boat also allows you to bring your bikes to ride around Daukfuskie Island at no extra cost! -Daufuskie Island There's about 300 inhabitants on the island and little to no cars. Everyone there is driving around in a golf cart! If you are heading to the island and planned on bringing your bike, I would recommend only doing so if it has rained overnight or the day prior. The majority of the roads within the island itself are not paved. Biking on the sand was extremely difficult (especially in 3 + inches of sand that has not been rained on!). It was so impossible on some roads that I was walking my bike along. Also, the 3 hour trip you have to explore the island is NOT enough if you are planning to bike around! The island was pretty uninhabited/looked pretty abandoned. Lots of old broken homes/abandoned trailers. There are more than 3 restaurants on the island! You do not have to settle for the Daufuskie Crab Co out by the pier. We saw a couple of other restaurants around another dock near the main pier where we initially docked at coming to the island. Lucy Bell's had great ratings, but we didn't get to try it. We were biking through there on Labor Day and it was open! All in all, I would not take another trip to Daufuskie island, but it was good to see it!

It was lovely. Food was tasty. Drinks were good and servers were friendly. I'd go again.

Booked a sunset dinner cruise as an anniversary celebration and they exceeded my expectations. Even though the weather was rainy the crew did everything they could to keep the experience comfortable and it definitely was. The food was fresh, delicious, and nicely plated. The drinks were excellent. They even offer reasonable upgrades like a special bottle of champagne or wine, flowers, etc for celebrations. All the crew was professional and friendly, and they kept our cruise leisurely and at a nice pace without any chop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Vagabond Cruise for such a fantastic experience!

The 45-foot  Tammy Jane is Hilton Head Island’s only excursion shrimping vessel.  The 2-hour educational cruises will give you a hands-on look at our local sea critters. You will learn about the local shrimping industry, and how a working shrimp boat operates. You will take part in sorting out the day’s catch, and the preparation it takes to bring the shrimp to your tables at home.

The Tammy Jane offers morning, afternoon, and sunset shrimping excursions throughout the state mandated shrimping season (typically from June through December). All trips are (2-hours) long.

The Tammy Jane  is U.S. Coast Guard approved for up to 30 passengers, There is a canopy for shade, a bathroom, and offers adult beverages “beer/wine”, along with non-alcoholic options available for purchase. She is outfitted with two outriggers, powered by an electric winch system.

We had a three hour golf cart but only used it for 2 hours because there was literally nothing to do. About half of the residence are very run down. Think walking dead scenes and you’re there. • ChildOfTheSixties 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Lousy signage to find the boat... and only one dolphin :( I can't fault Vagabond for the cold and windy weather or only one dolphin at the beginning of the trip BUT I can wag my finger at them for the absolutely lousy signage and instructions for finding the boat. We put the address in our GPS and we were brought to the end of a road with no indication where the boat was or where to park for it.. On top of that, it was an extremely busy Sunday and there was no parking to be found anywhere near the end of Lighthouse Road. We parked a good 20 minute walk away but even on foot were unable to find anyone who knew what we were talking about. By chance my husband noticed a small kiosk with "Vagabond" written on it. Within were three giggly teens who could have cared less that we were waiting to talk to them. They checked the tickets I had on my phone and pointed in the direction of where we had originally driven. When we asked for more specific instructions, one sighed and said they would walk us there. Once at the water there were NO signs that this was where our boat was docked. (Would it have killed them to have a "Vagabond" sign somewhere??) The only sign was a small 6" x 6" sign on a vertical pole that said "all boats," Once on that, we still didn't know exactly where to go but kept going until the very very end was a boat that had "Vagabond" written on its side, but of course this boat was blocked by other bigger boats. There wasn't even a banner or flag on the boat to indicate "Vagabond." By this time we were getting close to boarding, which was fine except the instructions said to arrive an hour early, and we were way past that. Of course the cold and seeing only one dolphin didn't help to make the trip rewarding. The captain was as nice and friendly as could be and he couldn't have been faulted for any of this. The crew were very attentive and had a full bar and Jello shots for those wishing to participate. We arrived at the dock in Savannah with plenty of time to find a spot on the parade route. Savannah was great with the azaleas in full bloom. The weather was perfect. The parade was incredible!
