Hello. We picked up a 1973 Skyline Golden Falcon which seems to be almost a twin to yours. Having a job finding replacement water tank and can't figure out the link to the manuel. We're in Arizona so now is the time of year to do work on it. Hoping to have it ready to take out by April.

We just bought the exact unit this past June.  I have been on the internet almost constantly trying to find any information on it. I was led to believe it was a Glendale, not a Skyline. We need the same material you did . How did the search go ?

There is a link up on top of the page for manuals. you may also enter the model in search bar up at the top of the page on the right hand side of the page. a lot of times folks will chime in with the info you seek.

So this post is 5 years old, but if you're still around, my wife and I picked up a '72 Nomad that has a bunch of manuals for the Dometic fridge, Coleman stove and a few basic Camper owner's manuals. In talking with some RV gurus, there aren't many standard, full-on, trailer hitch to tail light manuals in existence; Each one was a little different than the next, so I am told. So, we're just kinda figuring out as we go along. I'll happily share what I have, though. Shot you a friend request.

Vintage Trailer Manuals

Does anyone have the manual for my vintage trailer? I’m looking for electrical diagrams for my trailer? Where can I buy a manual for my vintage trailer?

These are common refrains in our facebook group and that come in to our email inbox. First off, it amazes me that people ask for a manual when typically no one ever reads the manual in the first place.

Lets start with the fact that most trailer manufacturers didn’t create manuals but what you got with a trailer was a pile of paperwork consisting of owners manuals for each appliance installed in the coach. There probably wasn’t a manual for the coach itself. The appliances aren’t coach brand specific, they used pretty much the same components for every brand.

If a manual was created, most people never open the manual and set them aside and they were eventually lost over time. If you find a manual, treat it like the rarity it is and then help others by publishing it online so others can benefit from it. The Tin Can Tourists offer a wiki for brands and we encourage our members to send us this information to share with others.

They weren’t thinking about the future for when someone wanted to restore a trailer. Most were hoping to survive the first year and many were very small operations with just a few guys in a garage. Hiring a technical writer wasn’t even a consideration. If a manufacturer grew and become really successful, then maybe this became a possibility.

Vintage trailers are very basic systems, that’s why we like them right? They really are pretty simple when it come to electrical, plumbing, propane, lighting, running gear, etc. The concepts and standards haven’t changed for a long, long time. Almost all trailer brands shared the same suppliers for their systems. Because of this, ask your questions to owners of any vintage trailer and you’ll likely to get an answer that will work for your brand.

The trailer and motor home museum in Elkhart,IN has a large archive of trailer and motor home manuals.

Hello I was fortunate to have the original manual for my 1987 Airstream Excella. It also has sub manualsfor Dometic Refrigerator RM2820 and older equipment like Coleman Delta TX AC,Suburban heater,shurfow water pump and others.

We have all of the original manuals and Appliance manuals are our 1965 Silver Streak Atlas 26 and 1984 Avion 30p if someone needs these manuals.

Hi. I have searched in vain for any manuals relating to my newly aquired trailer 1976 Holidaire model 1800. As this page points out, often there is no actual coach manual..just component or system manuals for the on board range/oven, furnace or water systems. I purchased a travel trailer and do not know much about it. The seller told me it is a 1969 Smokey, it has three decals where it says Smokey and has a bear, so maybe Grizzly model? Greetings, in search of a 1966/67 20′ Aristocrat Landliner manual for the water system. There’s a Nevin’s water pressure valve on the front of the trailer. I am brand new to campers. I just purchased a 1989 Terry Resort 14′ camper. I realize after reading this thread that a chance of a manual is slim to none. I would appreciate some direction. The camper is original. Everything works. Bearings have just been repacked. It was suggested I change out the lightbulbs to LEDs. I need a mattress for the rear bed but the measurement is wanky, probably start with a cut to order foam. HELP! TIA

You don’t have to change out the bulbs but they are far more efficient and generate no heat. I switched mine out to be able to run longer on solar. You are on the right thinking for the mattress. By foam and cut or there are companies that do mattresses for boats with odd shapes and sizes. They can do custom orders but of course they are expensive.

SOURCE: i need to change fuel filter for 1992 f150 [relay diagram]

To relieve the pressure, find on the fuel rail on the intake a schroeder valve, looks like a larger version of a tire valve, possibly with a cap. Remove cap, push center pin on valve to relieve pressure. Caution as high pressure fuel will come out, I hold a rag over it while I do it.

Mazda bongo dashboard warning lights not coming on when ignition key is on, amber lite on defrost keeps blinking i have heat and ac all the vents work but i have a clicking noise coming from the dash i put in a new control module and the same thing amber lite blinks 90 times then all works but the clicking noise is there, i have a 2002 hyundai santa fe went through a puddle and now it won't start. i wet through a puddle a few different tine and the same thing happened. you need to light came on very lick came on power steering went out but it also came back on like it was supposed to.. the last time i went through a puddle the harmonic balancer pulley came off the belt stayed on it drove for quite some time and it still ran like it was supposed to. i went through a puddle and all sudden it just stopped running and wouldn't restart. i changed out the alternator i changed out the harmonic pulley i changed out the spark plugs the wires the coil packs and now it's still not starting and it sounds like it's got some kind of a drag in it when it's trying to start. it has spark compression the whole nine yards. i'm not sure what's going on if somebody could give me a little bit of advice that might be helpful please, 2004 buick lesabre custom; when running ac everything works, but when running heater no air comes out of the vents, warm air comes out of the floor but nothing from the front vents on either side. again, when using ac the cold air comes out of the front vents fine; when using heater no air comes from the front vents at all., 364 people have viewed this category.
