It’s one of the must-see sights on The Strip, which has been dazzling visitors for over two decades.

Each show lasts for a specific amount of time ranging from three to five minutes, featuring different songs and effects designed to mesmerize spectators.

Pro tip: the show is best enjoyed at night when you can see both the fountains and their lights!

Gondola Rides at The Venetian

On Day 1 of your Las Vegas itinerary, be sure not to miss the romantic and enchanting gondola rides at The Venetian .

One popular choice is Cirque du Soleil’s “O” at the Bellagio Hotel , which combines aquatic elements with incredible feats of athleticism and stunning choreography.

Another fantastic option is The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage Hotel (soon to be Hard Rock) for those who enjoy classic rock music paired with jaw-dropping acrobatic stunts.

Red Rock Canyon

Red Rock Canyon is a must-visit attraction for travelers who are looking to escape the chaos of Las Vegas and immerse themselves in natural beauty.

Red Rock Canyon is a nature lover’s dream located about a 30-minute drive from Las Vegas and a perfect spot to capture those Instagrammable moments.

The canyon is filled with diverse and colorful rock formations, natural beauty, and vivid colors that are sure to awaken your inner adventurer.

As outdoor recreation enthusiasts ourselves, we particularly recommend spending day two exploring and hiking Red Rock Canyon . The Calico Hills area and the Calico Tanks trail are ideal spots to hike, enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape, or indulge in some rock-climbing or other adventure activities.

Red Rock Canyon is under a half-hour drive from the Strip. If you don’t have a car while in Vegas, I recommend taking a tour that will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Red Rock Canyon, where a guide will show you the best that the area has to offer.

Visiting the Hoover Dam is another top pick for day 2.

Located on the Arizona-Nevada border, this massive structure was built during the Great Depression and provides hydroelectric power to both states.

While there, you can walk across the top of the dam and enjoy stunning views of the Colorado River below.

You can also explore other attractions nearby such as Boulder City, Lake Mead, and even take in the Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.

Visiting Hoover Dam makes for a memorable day trip from Las Vegas. Sign up for a guided tour to learn about its history and construction process or you can simply view it from afar at nearby lookout points for awe-inspiring views!

The Hoover Dam is about 45 minutes from Las Vegas. You’ll probably be able to get an Uber or Lyft there, but getting one to return to Vegas might be tricky! (Editor’s Note: I (Sydney) might have personal experience with this…)

Because of this, I highly recommend taking a guided tour to the Hoover Dam from Vegas if you don’t have access to a car.

Grand Canyon

Day 2 of your Las Vegas itinerary is all about outdoor adventures, and what better way to experience the natural wonders than by taking a trip to the Grand Canyon?

Tours for visiting the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas can be booked via helicopter (for the spendy travelers) or by jeep/van/bus and can be done as day trips or overnight stays.

Most of the day trips visit the West Rim of the Grand Canyon , which isn’t part of Grand Canyon National Park. The West Rim is home to the famous Grand Canyon Skywalk, the glass walkway that extends over the canyon’s rim.

Fremont Street Experience

On Day 3 of your Las Vegas itinerary, be sure to explore Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas.

Known as the Glitter Gulch, this pedestrian walkway offers an unforgettable experience with its overhead LED canopy that spans across five blocks.

One of the highlights of your trip will likely be experiencing the Fremont Street Experience light show once night falls.

18b Arts District

Another fun thing to do on your third day in Vegas is explore the 18b Arts District, located just over a mile from downtown Las Vegas.

The district’s name comes from its original development as an 18-block area dedicated to supporting local artists and art lovers alike.

The district is easily walkable, especially during favorable weather conditions, offering you the chance to discover numerous galleries featuring works by local artists.

We also enjoyed exploring the murals on buildings and walls around the area that showcase some of the most impressive street art we’ve ever seen.

The 18b also has some great vintage clothing stores to explore, cool bars, and one of the hottest food scenes in Las Vegas.

Seeing so many people come together to support this budding creative community in Las Vegas was fantastic.

This 18b Crawl tour , led by a local guide, is a great way to see more of the district.

The Mob Museum

While in Downtown Las Vegas, check out the Mob Museum to learn about organized crime history in America.

This unique museum focuses on the history of organized crime and law enforcement in America, with an emphasis on Las Vegas.

Don’t miss out on visiting their Distillery or Speakeasy while you’re there for a truly immersive experience. This will be one of the highlights of your trip!

Neon Museum

We visited the Neon Museum during our exploration of downtown Las Vegas, and it was one of the best experiences on our trip.

The outdoor exhibition space showcases over 200 retired signs from vintage casinos and businesses across town, providing a unique peek into old Vegas.

What we loved about the Neon Museum was not just its historical value but also its artistic appeal.

Walking among these colorful vintage signs under the bright blue sky made us feel like we were in an outdoor art gallery. It was as if each sign had its own story to tell.

The guided tour was informative and engaging, giving us insight into how this nonprofit organization salvages and restores vintage Vegas neon.

There’s no better way to soak up the Las Vegas sun than by lounging at one of the amazing pools.

One of my favorite picks is the Boulevard Pool at Cosmopolitan . This hotel boasts a rooftop pool surrounded by plunge pools with a serene environment overlooking the strip and perfect for relaxing as a couple.

If you’re looking for something more lively, Caesars Palace has the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis with seven different pool experiences – from swim-up blackjack tables to luxurious daybeds with personalized service.

Most Vegas resorts sell pool passes so that you can visit even if you’re not staying at the resort.

If you want to party a bit more, consider visiting one of the Vegas Day Clubs or pool parties !

Enjoy a Final Dinner

As your 4 day Las Vegas trip comes to a close, there’s nothing better than enjoying a delicious dinner as you wind down your trip.

Las Vegas is renowned for its world-class restaurants, offering everything from classic American fare to international cuisine.

For a delicious meal that won’t break the bank, check out Chin Chin , a great Chinese restaurant in the MGM that’s among the top-rated restaurants on the Strip. Here, you’ll find delicious food, great drinks, and a nice atmosphere – all at a great price.

Las Vegas . An oasis in the Mojave desert known for its neon lights, striking accommodation and unanticipated landscapes that are located just 20 minutes off the strip.

Spending 4 days in this wondrous city won't be nearly enough to explore everything, but we have a fabulous itinerary that will make the most of what time you do have!

If you are new to Twosome Travellers blog, let us first give you a little bit of insight into the kind of itineraries we provide. We are a travel couple that focus on couple adventure, we love being outdoors and soaking up the sights, but will also include some downtime activities too. First, lets cover the basic bits like when to go and how to get there..

Still trying to decide what month is best to go? To be honest, all year round Vegas has something for everyone, in general Las Vegas has a dry climate with hot summers. Here's a run down of Vegas months to help you consider which temperatures are best suited for you:

Spring - March to May

Can still be cool in March, heating up towards May as day time temps on average around 25°C - 28°C nighttime temps in the region on 15°C

Summer - June to August

Average high is 38-40°C (104°F) low humidity helps keep the temperature from feeling as hot as it is. Also manageable as all indoor in air conditioned. Nighttime drops to on average 20°C.

Autumn - September to November

September can still look a lot like Summer, but daytime can cool to region of 20°C towards November time, nighttime temps are in the region of 8-19°C.

Winter - December to February

Much cooler with daytime average being 15°C / 60°F, nighttime can drop to as low as 1-4°C / 34-40°F.

Getting to Las Vegas

Las Vegas is located in the Mojave desert in Southern Nevada. If like us, you aren't too familiar with USA state locations, we've pinpointed on a map its location to help give you an idea of airports you can fly in and out of.

We flew from Sydney International airport to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport via Los Angeles which took 17 hours flight time. (There are no direct flights from Sydney to Las Vegas.) On the return journey, we decided to drive from Vegas via Joshua Tree to Los Angeles, and took a direct flight back to Sydney from LA.

On arrival in to Las Vegas airport, the cheapest and most convenient way to reach your hotel is by Uber, we found it to be of similar price as in Sydney.

A cheaper option may be to take an airport shuttle minibus which will drop you off at your hotel. There are several different companies but they all leave from just outside the airport’s baggage reclaim and charge around $10 each way. If you are travelling as a couple, it could work out cheaper to share a taxi.

Once you have reached the strip, it’s easy to get around the Strip on foot, but distances can be longer than they first appear! The Deuce (double decker buses) run up the strip to Fremont Street 24 hours a day and are frequent (every 15 minutes). We paid $6 for 2 hours, there are other pass options for a longer period - $8 for 24 hours or $20 for three days

We reached Paris Las Vegas hotel which is located on the strip within 15 minutes after jumping into our Uber at the airport.

This can fluctuate pending the month you are visiting Vegas, but this provides an indication of costs when we visited in June;

Transportation

Public Transportation such as the Deuce bus is $8 for 24 hours. There are also free trams between certain hotels which you can utilize.

Uber -$1.50 base fare and $1 for every mile beyond this

Car rental - most hotel/casinos offer free parking, some may charge an overnight fee

$ - such as In and Out Burger, Subway, $10 +

$$$ - $25 + pp such as a sit down meal on the strip or in the hotels

$$$$ - $65 + pp - it's worth noting there are many fine dining restaurants that offer significantly reduced costs on Lunch time specials such as Estiatorio Milos who offer a $29 pp lunch menu!

We have given some indication of pricing per activity in the below itinerary

We thought it would be good to mention this as unlike the UK or AUS, it is a practiced social custom that a gratuity charge is included it most hospitality scenarios. We were advised the following by a local:

Restaurants - 15–20% of the amount of a customer's bill (before tax) is customary when good to excellent service is provided.

Uber/Taxi - 10-20% of total charge

Hotel Porter - $1-2 per bag is the norm.

Tour guides - $5-10

Welcome to Las Vegas! Check into the hotel and drop off your bags.

We arrived in the morning and were able to get a room from 11am, if you are arriving on an early flight, it is worth asking for early check-in as most hotels will try and accommodate where possible.

Paris Las Vegas is one of Vegas’ iconic resorts that has awesome views of the Strip, we found it to be a great location to explore on foot in both directions. Plus, (a big plus!) it was directly opposite the spectacular Bellagio fountains that dance to music every 15-30 minutes!

Spend some time at the pool, just grab your swims and the hotel should provide the rest! No need for ear phones either as they'll no doubt be playing some tunes around the pool, serving extra cold drinks as well.

For the first night in Vegas, there's no other place to head to than Catch restaurant at ARIA , one of Vegas' hottest new restaurants that is famous for it's fresh seafood with an Asian twist. For a special occasion, or to celebrate your first night in Vegas, its a truly special place to dine. The entrance is Instagram-heaven filled with beautiful bright flowers!

After enjoying a delicious feast, head to the High Roller - a 10 min car ride / 20 min walk (shortcut through the hotels) to reach the wheel that soars 550 feet above the centre of the Las Vegas Strip,higher than both the London Eye and Singapore Flyer. With sweeping 360-degree views of the Las Vegas Valley and The Strip, the wheel takes 30 minutes to complete one revolution, the city lights are mind-blowing at the top!

The queue was pretty small at night, which was surprising seeing as it has to be one of the best times to witness Las Vegas from up above! The High Roller is open from 11:30am - 2am ever day.

Enjoy a lazy breakfast at your hotel, or head to Mon Ami Gabi to enjoy their Parisian pancakes and hot coffee.

Explore the Grand Canyon.... by helicopter! If there was ever a time to splash out on a heli-treat, it's in Vegas, obviously! For us this was such a huge dream to see this expansive piece of land, and take in those jaw-droppingly beautiful views of the GC and concrete showpiece that is the Hoover dam! Technically speaking, you also get to tick off another State within the USA as the GC is located in Arizona.

We had our tour with Maverick Helicopters who offer varying types of trips in and around Las Vegas, as well as many of the other natural wonders such as the Red Rock Canyon, Grand Canyon, and more. Don't forget to take your passport along for this (they will remind you too!) Our pilot Clint has been flying for over 10 years and made our trip extra-fun, as he took us down to the floor of the canyon, its here that you really appreciate the sheer size of it all.

And then the chilled champagne came out....bonus!

On the return journey, you get to see the Las Vegas strip in all its glory!

The Maverick base is back towards the Main Vegas airport, however they offer complimentary shuttles to pick you up and drop you off from your hotel. Flights start from $100 USD.

After a busy afternoon soaking up the views, take a little time to enjoy a relaxing meal from the Eiffel Tower restaurant. Located inside the Paris Hotel, you'll get the elevator from the Casino floor up high to give you those spectacular views.

The views, oh my the views.... do yourself a favour and ask for a window table for front row seats to the dancing Bellagio fountains !

Tip: Book dinner before sunset so that you get to see the strip change from daylight, watch the sunset, to Vegas by night!

There are two departure times, 8am & 1pm, we suggest the morning as it tends to be a little quieter than the afternoon, plus it will be cooler. The tour guide had us covered on ice cold water and snacks too.

Spend 4 hours with your jeep driver , if you're lucky like us you may get the jeep all to yourselves! Experience a proper off-road adventure, it's a bit bumpy but the best way to explore all those 4-wheel drive roads that other cars can't get to, more often than not we had the canyon completely to ourselves. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, and taught us a lot about the local wildlife, the local plants and how the area was formed.

See the Calico hills , desert tortoise (yes, the desert has tortoises!) and soak up the incredible landscapes! ($99 pp - more info on their website )

Enjoy afternoon Tea on the 23rd floor at Waldorf Astoria

A slight change in pace, after a racy morning head back for a quick shower and head to the Waldorf Astoria for afternoon tea . We were spoilt with unrivalled Vegas views, we enjoyed multiple flavoured teas and a selection of sandwiches and sweet treats across a couple of hours. The room itself is grand and beautifully decorated, perfect to take a few snap and soak up the experience. (From $48 pp. More info on their website )

Las Vegas is a place that knows how to entertain, there is a very good chance that you will want to watch a show, perhaps more than one...! There are too many excellent choices, it can be hard to choose which to pick. We had narrowed it down to 3 options... Le Reve, Absinthe and Cirque du Soleil which all came highly recommended from Vegas locals . We decided on Le Reve and wow did it not disappoint!

The flips, the jumps, the synchronized swimmers, the music, the lights, and finally.. the water! It is completely mind-blowing as performers hang dangerously from the ceiling, and plunge shocking heights into the pool below. All performed inside an aqua theatre the outfits and the theme is spectacular, a show that we would highly recommend.

Don't forget to swing by Black Tap which is on the way down towards the Wynn hotel & Casino where Le Reve is performed. They don't serve any ordinary milkshakes, they are huge, they are tasty and oh so naughty! The most instagrammable desserts you'll ever see/taste..

Take a slow morning, enjoy brekky at the hotel. If you're staying at the Paris hotel, there are many restaurants to choose from, we recommend Le Village Buffet ($25 USD pp). Head straight for the omelette station, and enjoy the mimosa bar!

Today get ready to enjoy some more of the Las Vegas food scene!

Spend lunch at The Cosmopolitan building not far from the Bellagio fountains and head to Estiatorio Milos , be transported to the Mediterranean coast dining on Mediterranean cuisine, fresh fish and great wine in a beautiful setting.

While you're in T he Cosmopolitan , visit The Chandelier Bar which covers multiple levels of the building, a huge grand and sparkling chandelier adorns the entire room and serves (in our opinion) some of the most delicious cocktails on the strip.

Secret tip: Ask for the cocktail that ' isn't on the menu ' that is served with a flower and makes your drink taste different after giving a tingling sensation on your tongue!

Stop by T he Palms , a hotel and casino that has recently undergone major renovation and now at the forefront on Vegas' art scene. The bar on the ground floor known as the Unknown Bar was designed by Damien Hirst himself, every aspect from the spot paintings to the 13-foot tiger shark suspended at the bar. For an extra treat you can stay in the Empathy Suite which is a suite designed entirely by Damien Hirst and is yours for a cool $100,000 per night.. *cough* too much?

Head just out of town to the Red Rock Casino for Japanese cuisine at Blue Ribbon Sushi before heading to watch the Las Vegas Aviators at The Las Vegas Ballpark.

The Las Vegas Ballpark is the newest addition to Downtown Summerlin located just south of City National Arena, the practice facility for the Vegas Golden Knights. This brand new ballpark can accommodate 10,000 people to watch Las Vegas’ Triple-A baseball team, The Aviators. THE ULTIMATE ITINERARY FOR A 4-DAY VEGAS TRIP

Cheers to my first travel blog post of 2024! We recently got back from a quick trip to kick off the new year, and I am feeling so refreshed and excited for the year ahead!

We decided to go big or go home this year and decided on a quick couples’ trip to Vegas! We’ve been a couple of times now and it’s always so much fun. In an ideal world, we would do this trip every single year, but it had been 3 years since we’ve gone to Vegas before this past trip, so hopefully, we can work up to that😅

We love Vegas because it’s so lively, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere of being in such a busy place is unlike anything we are used to in our daily life in Austin. There really is SO much to do, it can almost be a bit overwhelming, so I wanted to round up some of our favorite spots in Vegas into the ultimate 4-Day Vegas Trip Itinerary if you are planning a quick trip with your spouse or a girlfriend and want to make the most of it! Keep reading for my Vegas must-sees, must-dos, and must-wears 😂

1pm Aria Couples Massage — is there anything better than a couples’ massage to kick off the new year?! The one we get at Aria truly can’t be beat. The location is gorgeous and so relaxing – Nick and I both left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and ready to live it up for the rest of our trip!

5pm Dinner at Carbone — Also located in the Aria Hotel, this restaurant was our all-time favorite. If we had more time we may have tried to go more than once! It’s a MUST TRY if you love Italian food like we do! The restaurant also reminded us of New York, which was so special for us on our long weekend getaway.

*Secret tip: if you don’t have a reservation, show up at 4:30pm to be the first in line and then you can ask the bar if they have availability!

9:30pm See a show! —  If you’re feeling adventurous after dinner and aren’t ready for the night to be over yet, Vegas is known for some pretty amazing shows! We saw “O” by Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio – it was incredible!

10am Breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Hotel —  This authentic French bistro will make you feel like you’re sitting at a cafe in Paris (the real thing, not the hotel!) If you sit outside you’ll have a gorgeous view of the stunning Bellagio fountain! To be honest the food is just a 3 out of 5 starts, but it’s for the ambiance if you want a view – Bouchon is a better breakfast restaurant.

6pm Drinks at Vanderpump à Paris — Another great spot at Paris Hotel – my favorite was the Flora Bora Bora (my pink drink with a coconut rim!)

8pm Dinner at Mott 32 — This delicious Chinese restaurant is located in the Venetian Hotel. The ambience was beautiful and the food was amazing. If you go, you have to try the Crispy Duck!🤤

8am Breakfast at Bouchon at the Venetian  — Their brunch menu is to die for! Such a great start to another eventful day!

10am Scalp Massages at Soulo — It’s been over a week and Nick is still talking about this massage. I had been reading all about Japanese style scalp treatments and we decided to find out what all the hype was about! Trust me on this one. It’s life changing.

11:45am Nick Four Hand Massage at K Spa   — While it was my turn to get a glorious scalp massage, Nick had another massage appointment that he has been raving about! Might as well squeeze in all the self-care you can on a couples’ trip, right?! There are other spas you can go to for a 4 hand massage, but the fancy spas are $400 a massage and this place was closer to $150 ( What is a 4 hand massage? It means 2 people are massaging you at once! 2 people = 4 hands Which is so cool!)

8:00pm Dinner at Catch — This fun spot is located in the Aria hotel, and it was the perfect experience! They have a wide array of sushi, seafood and steak so there is something on the menu for everyone! We checked out this spot before heading to a fun nightcap location!

9:30pm Speakeasy Live Music Bar Reservation: The Barbershop at The Cosmopolitan — If you love a unique bar, this speakeasy is for you! We made a reservation here on our last night in Vegas, and we had so much fun! We made our way through a secret entrance to finish our night with some cocktails and great vibes!

11am Venetian or Palazzo Hotel Free Craps Lessons   — When in Rome, right?

12:30pm Gondola Boat ride at Venetian before shopping  — This is staple Vegas itinerary item! There is an indoor or outdoor boat ride option, both of which provide gorgeous views and a gondolier who will sing as you take in the beautiful scenery. Such a romantic, fun experience!

5:00pm Exotics Racing — Tap into your adventurous side with this adrenaline boost before dinner! No speed limit! 🏎️

6:15 Dinner at The Mayfair —  This restaurant is located at the Bellagio. We went for dinner for our last night in Vegas and it was delicious. The restaurant is also are open for late night drinks as well as a unique Jazz dinner on Sundays!

9:30 See a show: Kà by Cirque du Soleil —  If you want to get in one last amazing show before your time in Vegas is up, we saw this one at MGM Grand and it was so fun!

Housed in a sprawling Italianate palazzo, it boasts an on-site grand canal complete with gondolas, renaissance mall, spacious, eco-friendly suites and 10 outdoor pools. The hotel is just 12 minutes by car or taxi from the airport, and it offers a wide range of transport options, from a taxi booking service to a ‘Grazie’ shuttle service (free for Gold and Platinum members), running every half hour between 6.am and 6.30pm.

For family vacations in Las Vegas:

Marriot’s Grand Chateau, 15-minutes’ walk from the strip, boasts spacious family rooms, free valet parking, kids’ activity rooms and a bird’s-eye view of central Las Vegas. Just a ten-minute drive from the airport, head north onto McCarran Airport Connector, carry on to Swenson Street, then left onto E Harmon Ave. The Chateau offers free valet parking.

The Mandarin Oriental offers cozy family rooms and a range of child-oriented services, from children’s afternoon tea to the arrangement of certified babysitters, to ensure a stress-free stay for the whole family. The hotel is around a ten-minute drive by cab or car from the airport and is located right on ‘The Strip’.

For romantic vacations in Las Vegas:

The Desert Rose Resort, just 2 blocks from the southern part of the Strip, is a great choice for couples on a budget. It boasts a range of contemporary condominium suites with private patios or balconies. As it doesn’t host on-site bars or clubs, it’s ideal for those looking for something quieter. Just seven minutes from the airport by car, head north onto McCarran Airport Connector then left onto E. Tropicana Ave. After 1.6 miles, turn left onto Duke Ellington Way – the resort is on the right.

The MGM Grand attracts some of the world’s most famous acts to its numerous nightclubs and showrooms. With pool complexes, a range of signature bars and restaurants, and generously-sized suites, it’s an ideal honeymoon resort. The resort offers tax assistance and features on shuttle service routes to and from the airport (just 7 minutes away, though usually longer via shuttle). If driving from McCarran International, head north onto McCarran Airport Connector and left onto E. Tropicana Ave., then right onto Audrie St. and left towards the resort entrance.

For luxury vacations in Las Vegas:

The Wynne Las Vegas is a dazzling luxurious resort, featuring a full casino, dozens of boutiques and matchlessly designed amenities. The hotel doesn’t offer a free shuttle service, but is located directly on the Strip, and is easily reachable (around 12 minutes) from McCarran International via cab or hired car.

The Four Seasons in Mandalay Bay offers glorious views of the surrounding desert mountains from chic, Art-Deco suites. Alongside stellar on-site restaurants, guests can enjoy tailored treatments in the Forbes Five Star Spa. Limo, taxi and rental car services are available for airport transfers (around 12 minutes away) and beyond.

For budget vacations in Las Vegas:

The Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino is located 5 minutes from the Monorail and offers free shuttles to the Strip and airport transfers (between 7am and 10pm). It also offers free service level parking and a friendly full-service bar and restaurant. From the airport, simply head north on Paradise Road for 2.3 miles. The hotel is on the right.

The Circus Circus Hotel, Casino, and Theme Park is just 5 minutes’ drive from the Convention Center and offers free entertainment nightly. The hotel is just 8 minutes away from the airport by cab, or half an hour way via line 108 bus.

HOW TO SPEND 4 DAYS IN LAS VEGAS | TRAVEL GUIDE + ITINERARY

Ever since our first girls trip to California in 2013, (years before this travel blog was born), I’ve been wanting to plan our next trip. In 2016, after much deliberation, we headed to the ultimate place for a girls trip: Las Vegas! With only 4 days to spare, we made sure we had a jam packed itinerary.

Arrived in Las Vegas at 7am, called an Uber and headed straight to the hotel, SLS Las Vegas . Once we dropped off our luggage at the front desk, we had breakfast at the Northside Cafe which is located inside the SLS hotel. Perfect! Refueled and ready to shop!

Around 10am, we headed out to Trader Joes located at S. Decatur Blvd. since it was the closest one around our hotel. (Can you tell we don’t have any Trader Joes in Hawaii? Look at our full cart haha!) We also went to Las Vegas North Premium Outlets . After our shopping, we headed back to the hotel around 3pm and relaxed until our first activity in Las Vegas.

At 6pm, we were picked up by a complimentary shuttle and headed to Maverick Helicopters ! Such an exciting experience seeing Las Vegas at night. Beautiful lights, beautiful city! If you are in Vegas for at least a night, set aside time to see the nightlife from above.

Finishing our amazing helicopter tour, we headed back to the hotel and had a quick dinner at  Umami Burger . This is one of our favorite spots for burgers and fries when visiting the Mainland U.S. If you haven’t tried it before, definitely grab a bite, it’s a must!

What’s a girls trip in Vegas if you don’t go to the nightclubs, right? Right after dinner, we got ready and headed to Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub which is located right on the strip. We were there for Fetty Wap’s (a famous American rapper/artist) concert! From 11pm to 4am. We danced the night away!

The following day, we woke up around 11am, and purchased our monorail tickets for the next few days to get around Las Vegas. Definitely recommend the monorail pass as it will save you some money (and time) instead of using lyft, uber or taxi. The Las Vegas Monorail connects to some hotels along the strip making it easier to get to restaurants, hotels, and casinos on the strip.

Being that we woke up a little late, we happened to skip breakfast. We headed straight to lunch at Lobster Me   located at Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood. Again, a must place to grab a bite, especially their delicious lobster roll!

Sugar Factory was our next stop after lunch. They are famous for their fabulous drinks that are served in a tall plastic bottle! In Las Vegas, you’re allowed to have an alcoholic drink in hand all day and night while walking around in public areas!

With drinks in hand, we were ready to check out hotels on the strip. We found ourselves walking through a few beautiful hotels like the Wynn, Cosmopolitan, and also checked out the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio.

At 7:30pm, we took an uber outside the strip to check out a unique themed bar called The Golden Tiki . They have some really delicious drinks on the menu. It such a great time!

Since our last meal was at Lobster Me, we decided to go back to our hotel for dinner and enjoy the fleeing downtime.  800 Degrees caught our eye right away with their “Create your own pizza” sign!

On our third day, we had an open itinerary and decided to spend it walking around the strip. A few hours of walking later, we were starving! We ate lunch at The Buffet which is located inside Wynn hotel. The food was great but the sight was beautiful!

We continued walking around through more hotels and ended up at The Venetian . While at The Venetian, we experienced the indoor Gondola Ride (seats 4 people max). What an amazing 15 minute ride! We were given blue roses before going on the gondola and our guide sang in french! Marvelous & Romantic!

At exactly 7:30pm, we took an uber to downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street . We had an 8pm activity with Slotzilla   –   a zipline over Fremont Street. This was such a cool experience!

We ended our night at Gold Spike   which is located a few blocks away from Fremont Street. A fun place for adults where you can play human size chess, beer pong, and other fun games in Gigantic Size. Inside Gold Spike, we ate at a place called FiddleStix , open 24 hours!

On our last full day, we decided to walk around the strip more and visit other hotels. Hotels we walked through were New York New York, Luxor, Monte Carlo, and Excalibur. We rounded it up with a brunch at the Excalibur Buffet . After freshening up at the hotel, we rode the monorail to The Linq for our sunset High Roller ride.

Highly recommend doing the High Roller – You can see the city views of Las Vegas with unlimited alcohol drinks from the bar inside. Great deal for an all you can drink spot with magnificent views!

Then, we were off to dinner (or breakfast for dinner) at Serendipity located right outside of Ceasar’s Palace. Amazing place to dine in! They’re famous for their frozen hot chocolate.

To end our last night in Las Vegas, we watched a late night show of   Mystère by Cirque du Soleil   at Treasure Island. It was such an incredible show!

Although our itinerary looked like we did it all, we had a few things that we didn’t get to do such as taking a photo in front of the Las Vegas Welcome Sign and watching the Bellagio fountain at night. Overall, we had an amazing four days and we can’t wait to go back!

Practical Information for 4 Day Las Vegas Itinerary

How to get to las vegas.

Las Vegas is served by the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) – previously the McCarran International Airport. The airport is situated centrally at the south end of the Strip. 

You can connect to Las Vegas airport from the majority of cities in the United States. Direct flights are available from certain international destinations such as the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, and Mexico. But many times, its cheaper to transfer via an alternative United States airport. 

How To Get From Airport To Las Vegas City Center

Many hotels in Vegas offers shuttles services for the airport, if not you can avail Lyft or UBER to get to the city center.

Alternatively, you can book a  Private Transfer  or if you want to arrive in Vegas in style, you can even opt for a Private Luxury Limousine service !

If your 4 days in Las Vegas itinerary is part of a wider road trip through USA , than you can drive to the city from Los Angeles or Phoenix in around 5 hours! We drove from LA to Las Vegas during our trip to Las Vegas.

Best Time to Visit Las Vegas

Las Vegas is situated between Nevada desert and it remains extremely hot during the summer season!

Officially, the best time to visit Las Vegas is between March and May and from September to November.

Spring (March to May): Mild temperatures and blooming landscapes make spring a popular time to visit.

Keep in mind that spring break in the United States usually takes place in March/April, around Easter. So, if you want to avoid the crowds, avoid traveling to Vegas during those two weeks.

Fall (September to November): Similar to spring, fall offers pleasant temperatures, but it can be windy at times. But overall, its best time to visit Vegas as crowds can be thinner as summer holidays be over.

Summer (June to August): Las Vegas can be extremely hot during these months, with temperatures often exceeding 100°F (38°C). If you can handle the heat, this is also when pool parties and outdoor events are in full swing and casinos will give you reprieve from the heat.

Also, during Summer time for your 4 days in Las Vegas would be on the plus side, resorts will be quieter and you will find deals on accommodation and tours.

In summary, the spring and fall are generally considered the best times to visit for a balance of pleasant weather and manageable crowds to spend in Las Vegas without Gambling ! Also, Weekdays generally have fewer crowds than weekends. Avoid major holidays and large conventions if you prefer a quieter experience.

How to Get around Las Vegas

Las Vegas offers various transportation options to help you get around the city and its very easy to get around your 4 day long weekend Las Vegas trip.Like most big cities of USA, Las Vegas offers taxi cabs, Uber, and Lyft rideshare. 

• Walking : The Las Vegas Strip is very much pedestrian-friendly, and many of the major resorts and attractions are within walking distance of each other. For me, Walking is a great way to explore the iconic Strip and take in the sights and you won’t miss any of the iconic Las Vegas attractions found along it !  
• The Deuce Bus : For long-distance attractions, you might need the transportation and the Deuce Bus is main Bus service for your 4-day Vegas trip. The Deuce offers two routes that are specifically for the tourist areas of The Strip and downtown. The Downtown Loop is a free shuttle that also includes an opportunity to stop at the Arts District.

You can buy 2-hour pass, 24-hour pass, or 3-day pass from the kiosks on the strip. There are a lot of stops all along the Strip that drop you close to the major resorts and attractions. Check out the  route online.

• Free Monorail : There are two free monorails; one runs between The Mirage and Treasure Island and the other runs between Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay.
• Las Vegas Monorail : The  Las Vegas Monorail  runs along the back of the strip from MGM up to Bally’s. It was closed when we visited, so don’t have experience of it.
• Taxis: Taxis are all over Vegas and of course, the cost varies depending on traffic and distance. Ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft are available in the City. Drivers are only allowed to use the designated pick-up and drop-off areas in Vegas so make sure you enter the closest physical address before hailing a ride.
• Rental Car : I would not recommend renting a car during your time in Las Vegas unless you are renting it for the day trips or you’re road-tripping around the USA. Also, keep in mind that parking on the Strip can be expensive, and traffic congestion is common during peak times.
• Hop on Hop Off Sightseeing Tour : If you don’t want to take pain any of all above and want to explore at your own pace, book the Big Bus hop on hop off tour. One of the best free things to do in Las Vegas is to watch the show in evening. The Bellagio Fountain is a complex network of water features that is located in fronts of The Bellagio Hotel & Casino.

The main attraction at the Bellagio Hotel is the epic fountain show that takes place every 30 minutes right on the Las Vegas Strip! The fountains are synchronized to the music and the songs change throughout the day as like Burj Khalifa Fountain Show in Dubai.

The choreographed show takes place Monday to Friday every 30 minutes from 3 PM to 7 PM and every 15 minutes from 7 PM to 12 AM. On weekends and public holidays, it takes place every 30 minutes from 12 PM to 7 PM and every 15 minutes from 7 PM to 12 AM.

This indoor Garden is renowned for its elaborate and wide displays of flowers, plants, and decorative elements. The displays at the conservatory are created using natural plant materials and change with the seasons!

The garden themes are diverse and can range from traditional seasonal motifs (such as spring, summer, fall, and winter) to more exotic and creative themes inspired by cultures and celebrations from around the world. It is particularly more beautiful during thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

You can visit this Botanical Gardens for free and take as many photos you want before the crowd arrives later during the day!

Trevi Fountain & The Forum Shops at Caesar

If you want to do self drive trip, I highly recommend renting car from Discover Cars , as they have always best deals!

If you don’t want to drive yourself, Guided Tours are also available from Las Vegas including pickup and drop from the hotels!

Here are some of the absolute best day trips from Las Vegas to consider for your next trip! I am also including alternate options!!

Lake Mead is located in the east side of Vegas towards Hoover dam.

Along the way, you can pull over to take in views of the beautiful Lake Mead, a massive reservoir that was formed as a result of the dam.

Follow the Lakeshore Road and be ready to pull over at the various Overlooks that dot the western banks of the lake.

Lake Mead overlook provides a panoramic view of the lake and is a great spot for photography. The Sunset View Scenic Overlook is stunning and only requires a 0.5 mile (0.8 km) hike from the parking lot.

You have the option of taking a self-guided tour or an hour-long guided tour during your visit. I highly recommend visiting at night or sunset when the restored electric lights come alive, creating a surreal atmosphere that will leave you awestruck.

Tickets often sell out, so  booking in advance  is highly recommended. The Neon Museum is open daily, 2 PM to 10 PM daily.

You can’t leave Vegas without experiencing the city’s infamous nightlife. From sprawling nightclubs and rooftop bars to intimate lounges and live music venues, Las Vegas has it all.

Las Vegas has world-class nightclubs that attract top DJs, celebrities, and partygoers.

However, keep in mind that Night clubs in Vegas are a pricey with admission charges and costly drink prices with gratuities expected on top! Make sure you budge accordingly in your 4 day Las Vegas Itinerary. But Vegas is all about phenomenal atmosphere and its must visit for party lovers!

Also, Night clubs are not open every night, you will need to research which one you want to go to and make sure they are open the night you are traveling !

Day-4 of 4 day Las vegas Itinerary: Day Trip to Death Valley National Park

On Last day of your 4 day in Las Vegas, you have two options for an adventurous day trip. You can either visit Death Valley National Park or Valley of Fire State Park.

Seven Magic Mountains

The first stop on the road trip is Seven Magic Mountains. It is an art installation 30 minutes from Las Vegas. It was designed by the Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone and features seven stacks of vibrantly painted rocks.

The Seven Magic Mountains are free to visit and you’re best seeing them on a bright, clear day. This place gets busy during the day, so I included this to visit during early in the morning as the first spot of the day!

Option-1: Death Valley National Park

If you want an exciting adventure that allows visiting, lowest place in North America and hottest place in the world, head to Death Valley National Park near Las Vegas.

Death Valley is just 2.5 Hrs from Las Vegas and makes perfect road trip from Las Vegas as day trip. You can include following must visit places in your Death Valley itinerary .

• Catch sunrise at Zabriskie Point in the morning
• Visit the Furnace Creek Visitor center to know about the Geology & history of the area
• Badwater Basin – Lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level & walk the salt flats.
• Drive to Artist’s Palette, a colorful and mineral-streaked mountainside.
• Head to Dante’s View for a spectacular panoramic view of Death Valley at Sunset.
• If have more time, visit Mesquite Sand dunes at sunset.

• Begin your exploration by driving to Rainbow Vista . This area offers panoramic views of colorful sandstone formations, and it’s a great spot for photography.
• Take the White Domes Trail, a short and scenic loop trail that showcases the diversity of the park’s landscapes, including unique sandstone formations and a slot canyon.
• Drive the Mouse’s Tank Road, a natural basin where water collects after rainfall. This area is known for its ancient petroglyphs, showcasing the connection between the park’s natural and cultural history.
• Hike the Fire Wave Trail, a moderately easy hike that leads to a mesmerizing sandstone formation resembling a colorful wave. The patterns and colors are particularly striking.
• Spend the late afternoon exploring additional areas of the park, such as Elephant Rock or the Arch Rock.

The Valley of Fire State Park is best visited with your own vehicle and you’ll need to pay a fee of $15 in order to access the park.

The Costs of a Las Vegas Vacation

Las Vegas used to be the place to go for a bargain vacation. While the days of the $2 buffets are long gone, there are still plenty of good deals out there.

How Much Does A Las Vegas Hotel Cost?

This is a tricky question simply because Las Vegas operates on a different schedule than most vacation destinations. Just because the weather is cold does not mean that people stop visiting the Las Vegas strip. When it is miserably hot people still stay for 5 nights. Who can predict these things?

A simple rule of thumb is to avoid weekends because they will be more expensive than weekdays. If possible arrive on a Monday and leave on a Thursday. However, that formula falls apart if there are large conventions in town or it is March Madness. Summer months are typically better for getting great room rates and the Christmas holidays are ridiculously expensive. Labor day and Memorial day weekend are grossly expensive.

Dining Costs

Meals in Las Vegas vary from the dirt cheap to the ridiculously expensive, so be aware of your food budget. Comps are not as easy to come by these days but your best bet to getting free stuff at any casino is to get a players card at the place you intend on playing at. Often times a few hours worth of gaming action at the tables or at the slots will get you a free meal or at least some reduced prices.

On average, two people could go to Las Vegas and eat good meals three times a day and have a good amount of alcohol and spend about $200 a day. This number is so fluid because of the amount of gambling you do and your choices in food. Drinks are normally included in your gaming income because they are free as long as you're a player. However, if you decide to eat at a nice restaurant or order drinks with your food that number goes up very quickly.

Things You Might Pay For

• Taxi - $3.30 for the first mile and $1.50 each additional. If you use a rideshare like Uber in Las Vegas you'll save a lot of money.
• Cover charge at a Nightclub - $10 - $30 for males slightly less for females at some clubs.​ Learn more about ​ Vegas nightclubs .
• Tipping - Figure an extra five percent of your total budget. Waitresses, Valet, Taxi Valet, $2 per occurrence, Bell hop $2 per bag, server at restaurant 15% of check. Here are some tipping guidelines .
• Parking is no longer free at most resorts so if you plan on driving factor in another $10-$40 for parking over the duration of your stay.
• Resort fees are another secret cost that gets added to your vacation budget so even though you may have already paid for your hotel the front desk will surprise you with another fee. Expect anywhere from $10-$30 per night. Complain a little and you might get some of the fees waived.

4 Day Itinerary for Las Vegas, NV (Written By a Local!)

Best Time to Visit Las Vegas

The best months to come to Las Vegas (weather wise) are early March or early October. The temperatures range are in the mid 70’s (Fahrenheit), and the crowds are minimal.

However, if you plan to attend some of the popular day clubs, these do not open up until mid-late March.

If you plan to spend a lot of time at the pool or Lake Mead, I would go in the middle of summer when the heat is the strongest. However, if you are planning to hit up some nearby national parks , then you might want to visit in the shoulder seasons.

Where to Stay in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has a wide range of accommodation and some of the most unique places to stay in the world, think themed hotels where no expense is spared.

In terms of location you’ll want to base yourself on ‘The Strip’. This is the main street where all the action is.

The accommodation map below will allow you to search for options that best suit your needs in the Las Vegas Strip area.

4 Day Las Vegas Itinerary

Day 1: spa day.

What better way to get rid of jet lag than starting your 4 day trip to Las Vegas at one of the many 5 star day spas!

If you have been to a hotel spa in other cities, you will be overwhelmed with the amenities Las Vegas spas offer. Some examples include access to their fitness center, hotel pool, spa pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, snow room (yes, you heard that right), or salt cave.

If going in a snow room intrigued you ( you’re lying if it didn’t ), head over to Caesar’s Palace for a spa day at their world-renowned, greek themed spa.

If you want to really splurge ( hey, money doesn’t count on vacation… or was that calories? Let’s just go with both ), head to Golden Nugget to get a 24k Gold Facial. Talk about luxury!

After your recharging massage/facial, head back to your room to get ready for your first night in Las Vegas!

Start your trip off with a bang and head to one of the several night clubs. You have the option to purchase a table ($$$$) or go in on guest list.

TIP: Girls will get in free at most night clubs, assuming it is not a holiday weekend and it is not a guest DJ. There will be club hosts walking around on the strip trying to get you on their table all throughout the day. They have to hit a minimum every night and are more than willing to offer you a free entry to the club!

TIP: Drinks inside the club are a minimum of $25 per drink. I recommend going to a nearby liquor store and pick up a bottle before the club to have a drink or two in your room. This will save you tons of money and is what everyone does! I have NEVER ONCE, in my entire life been to the club without having a few drinks first.

Day 2: Food, Shows and Entertainment

Head over to get your hangover breakfast (a Las Vegas itinerary would not be complete without a hangover!) and “hair of the dog” at Border Grill at Mandalay Bay Hotel. This famous brunch is open Saturday and Sundays and for only $55.00, you get bottomless food and mimosas.

After you have rightfully , over-stuffed yourself with food… head over to your hotel pool to enjoy your food coma by bathing in the sun with a frozen cocktail.

For dinner, I have a few options for you:

Do you like sushi? Las Vegas is known for having endless options for all you can eat sushi! For only $25-$30, you can get bottomless sushi at almost every local sushi restaurant. Some of my favorite options include:

• Sushi Factory

If you are not a big raw fish fan, head over to a charming French Restaurant that sits right on the Bellagio Fountains. Receive a 5 star dinner and a show at Mon Ami Gabi. This fine dining restaurant is located in the Paris hotel and will most likely need a reservation.

Top Tip – If you go to Mon Ami Gabi, head over to Hydeat the Bellagio for a pre-dinner drink. They have tables that line up right to the glass where you can see the beautiful Bellagio fountain show. This show goes off every 30 minutes before 8pm and every 15 minutes after 8pm. This fountain show never gets old, even after seeing it hundreds of times.

After your dinner, head back to your hotel to get ready for your night out in Downtown Las Vegas.

Downtown is what most people picture when they have seen movies and TV shows. It is traditional, trendy, and “old” Las Vegas. You will find a lot of tourists here, but also a lot of locals. If I ever go out for a girls night, it is 99% of the time to Downtown.

The main street, Fremont, is a crowded area with no cars that is covered by a lit up dome and is a great place to find free things to do in Las Vegas . Along this street you will find endless bars, free concerts, street performers, or if you look up at the dome… you will see the world’s largest video screen playing you a free lightshow! Pick up a fat Tuesday (a frozen cocktail in a yard glass) and spend some time people watching.

People watching is extremely entertaining in every city, but Las Vegas takes the cake. Watching drunk girls, balancing in their heels after a long night of drinking is a free show!

If you want to take a short break from drinking, you can see Fremont Street from above by ziplining under the dome. Tickets range from $20-$50, depending on the height and time you choose to go.

Next, head over to the container park  to stroll through the art galleries, shops, and live music. This entire area is made out of recycled shipping containers and is so unique to Las Vegas. Definitely worth checking out, especially since you are right there, it’s FREE, and would only take less than 30 minutes to walk around!

Lastly, spend the night bar hopping along Fremont. This is the best place to go bar hopping in Las Vegas because all of the bars are so close together and are free for girls to get in. Some of my favorite downtown bars are:

Day 3: Day Club

You know what’s better than a Las Vegas nightclub? A Las Vegas Day Club!

Las Vegas’s epic party scene keeps going at all hours of the day. Most day clubs open at 11am and run all the way until 7pm. Some of the best day clubs are:

• Encore Beach Club

Before your much-needed nap, head over to In-N-Out for a burger and fries. A trip to the west coast is not complete without a trip to In N Out burger! You can choose from one of their many locations all over the Las Vegas valley.

Top Tip – Get the “off-the-menu” animal style fries! It has their secret sauce, grilled onions and cheese melted on top. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Day 4: Explore the outskirts of Las Vegas

as Vegas has so many great hiking trails just 30-45 minutes outside of the city. If the weather permits, you can head over to Red Rock Canyon for beautiful rock formations and endless hiking trails.

If you are craving some greenery, drive out to Mt. Charleston for their Mary Jane Falls hike. This is an moderate hike that will give you a beautiful lookout over the forest.

If you have a rental car, you can do a day trip to The Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Antelope Canyon.

After the sun has set, it’s time to see Las Vegas from above! There are so many great options for Helicopter Tours that fly you over the Las Vegas Strip. Flights start at $100 per person and increase depending on length, time and date.

For dinner, head over to Las Vegas’s new Catch restaurant and club. They are known for their instagram-worthy ambience, craft cocktails, and “hit me” dessert. Whether you are celebrating something special or not, the dessert is to die for!

To finish your 4 days in Las Vegas trip with a BANG, book tickets for one of the many Cirque Du Soleil shows. I have seen so many of these, and they get more impressive everytime. These shows typically last 2 hours and boy, do they pack stuff in there! These performers will make your jaw drop on numerous occasions and leave you wanting to see another one of their 19 shows.

That’s a wrap! There so much to see in Las Vegas it’s hard to narrow it down to a long weekend. I feel this itinerary will give you a well-rounded experience of Las Vegas, showing you the touristy sites, luxury experiences, outdoor activities, and local spots. Epic Las Vegas Itinerary: 2-4 Days in Las Vegas

So many travel to Las Vegas to gamble and drink their memories away. As appealing as that may seem to some, Vegas has far more to do than just party.

Vegas and the surrounding area are more than booze and lounging, and while the insides of the hotels can entertain you for many days, I encourage you to move beyond their walls and even The Strip itself too.

Whether your weekend in Las Vegas is just 2 days or an extended weekend away, this Las Vegas itinerary will have you exploring the favorite spots as well as beyond for a truly epic city getaway.

Weekend in Las Vegas Itinerary

One day in las vegas: sightseeing on the south las vegas strip.

For the purposes of this itinerary, we will start on the south end of The Strip and move north. While I’ve broken The Strip sightseeing up into 2 days, you can always do it in one day and just drop whatever it is you’re not interested in seeing.

Las Vegas Sign

First things first, the Las Vegas sign! It’s best to visit this on your way to your hotel from the airport, so you can ask to make a stop or schedule it later on your itinerary. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the closest hotel, Mandalay Bay, so head here if you’re in the area. Get your iconic pictures of the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign (which is actually named a Historic Place on the National Register) and then continue your journey down The Strip.

Mandalay Shark Aquarium

Whether you like marine wildlife or not, the Mandalay Shark Aquarium is nothing short of spectacular. It’s one of the largest in the country and features 14 different exhibits, including Shark Reef Tunnel which immerses you in 360° views of the marine wildlife.

Luxor Hotel & Casino

This pyramid may not be as nice or cool as the real ones in Egypt but don’t pass up on the opportunity to pose in front of the one that is a part of the Luxor Hotel. You’ll pass by here as you make your way to other Las Vegas attractions. But if you’re a lover of all things Titanic, don’t miss Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit . There are over 250 recovered and recreations of artifacts.

Art at ARIA

For art lovers or for those just looking to escape the heat for a bit, take some time to wander through ARIA where art is featured around the entire resort.

Roller Coaster at New York New York

Next up you’ll find yourself in New York. This hotel is spectacular inside and out so be sure to venture in too. You can opt to stand outside and watch those fly on the roller coaster and high into the air, or you can join in on the fun yourself on the Big Apple Coaster , which is the first roller coaster to have a 180° twist!

M&M’s World

I don’t care how old you are, M&M’s World is cool. Head into here to stock up on your favorite treat, find fun souvenirs and marvel at the sheer size of the store that is filled with M&M’s in every color.

Bellagio Fountain & Gardens

An absolute must when visiting Las Vegas is the fountain show at Bellagio. The lights and water show is absolutely free and you can catch it every 15-30 minutes (depending on the time of day) typically from noon to midnight ( see schedule here ). It is truly quite a sight! While you can stand outside on The Strip and watch the show, you can also grab a drink or some food at Hyde in Bellagio for some of the best views of the fountain show.

Secondly while at the Bellagio Hotel, go inside and marvel at the glass ceiling in the lobby while on your way to the conservatory and botanical gardens where the showstoppers are the real flower arrangements that change seasonally.

Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas

Yes, seeing a pyramid and the Eiffel Tower in one day is possible, but only in Las Vegas! From the Bellagio Hotel, turn around and you’ll get a spectacular view of the whole tower, but head closer and the view from right beside or under is awesome too.

For another great view, head up to the Eiffel Tower viewing deck for 360° views of The Strip (and perhaps even catch the fountains across the street). The half-size replica of the iconic Paris attraction also puts on a light show nightly every 30 minutes. Paris Las Vegas is also another fabulous hotel to go inside and check out.

Dinner & a Show

If you do all of the above, it’s quite a bit for a day! Next up on the itinerary is to grab dinner and then head to a show. I recommend having dinner at one of the restaurants close by or even in the hotel of the show you’re going to see so you don’t have to worry about timing. There’s no shortage of nightly entertainment where you can sit and rest your feet. My recommendation is a Cirque du Soliel show but here are a few other options too:

• Michael Jackson ONE (Cirque du Soliel) at Mandalay Bay
• Beatles LOVE (Cirque du Soliel) at The Mirage
• MINDFREAK Magic Show at Planet Hollywood
• Blue Man Group at The Luxor
• Magic Mike Live at Sahara
• America’s Got Talent Live at The Luxor

Two Days in Las Vegas: Day Club & Sightseeing on the North Strip

Today you’ll continue seeing more of the highlights on The Strip (trust me, more good things are to come!) but there’s also some time for relaxation too.

Enjoy a gondola ride and Madame Tussauds at The Venetian

Begin your morning at one of the best hotels on The Strip, The Venetian. Honestly, you could get lost in this hotel for days, but for now opt to take a ride in a gondola and feel like you’re in Venice. Afterward roam the Italian streets of the mall and make your way to Madame Tussauds which is also in the hotel and included in a gondola ticket . While at The Venetian, you’ll be able to see the volcano at The Mirage across the street, but return in the evening if you wish to see it erupt.

High Roller Observation Wheel

Just a 10-minute walk away is the High Roller Observation Wheel where you can take in more great views of the city, and even enjoy a drink if you opt for a cabin with a bar. In 30 minutes you’ll be taken around the wheel (which is even larger than the London Eye) in air conditioning with commentary on the history of Las Vegas.

You’ll then be on The LINQ, an outdoor promenade with shopping, entertainment, and food between The LINQ Hotel and the Flamingo Hotel & Casino. If interested in visiting, there is a Flamingo Wildlife Habitat with, you guessed it, flamingos at the hotel of the same name. It’s free to visit too.

Enjoy a day club

Day clubs typically open around 11am so you can skip on more sightseeing, or fit more into your first day, and then spend most of your day lounging at a day club. Visiting a day club is one of the top things to do in Las Vegas, but keep in mind that when you are visiting Las Vegas will determine if you can enjoy a Vegas pool party. Day clubs are usually closed from late fall until spring. Dates differ from day club to day club, so check in advance if you’re visiting over the winter season. To name a few a few good ones worth checking out, try:

• Encore Beach Club
• Ayu Dayclub
• Marquee Dayclub
• Wet Republic
• Drai’s Beachclub

Or indulge at a spa

If a day club isn’t your thing or they’re closed, a spa is definitely the way to go! Spas in Las Vegas are not like your typical spa at home, we are in Las Vegas after all. Each hotel will have its own spa, themed after the hotels’ theme of course. Expect extravagance and even extra perks such as access to the hotel’s pool, sauna, etc.

Have a night on the town

Is a trip to Las Vegas complete without spending a night hitting up the casinos or clubs? Nope! Even if you’re not into drinking, wandering through the casinos or trying your hand at a few games is all a part of the Vegas fun. While gambling you get free drinks (yes, you read that right). As long as you are playing, no matter the price of the game, you get free drinks, which is a great way to pre-game!

When it comes to nightclubs always check and see if the one you want to visit is open. Some of the best nightclubs worth checking out include:

• Omnia at Caesars Palace (there’s even a patio overlooking The Strip here)
• Marquee at The Cosmopolitan
• Tao at The Venetian
• Hakkasan at MGM Grand

There are other options for a night out too, such as a night tour on an open-top bus , or a bright lights city tour in a Pink Jeep to sights like the Las Vegas sign at night and wedding chapel lane.

Three Days in Las Vegas: Get Out of Vegas & Downtown Las Vegas

Vegas is fabulous yes, but after a busy 2 days in the city, it’s a great time to see some nature and get away from the crowds a bit. Of course, you can always take the first 2 days in Las Vegas and take them at a slower pace, doing some of the previously listed things on your third day.

But if you want to get out of the city, there are a few options for day trips from Las Vegas. Note that you may want to do a day trip on your second day after a show instead of a night of drinking.

Grand Canyon

A very popular choice (and a great one at that) is heading to see the Grand Canyon. A truly exceptional experience that can be done as a day trip from Las Vegas, visiting the Grand Canyon South Rim will be a full day of about 15 hours, with 3 hours actually at the Grand Canyon. While the time may seem short, it’s enough to do some walking along the rim and taking in absolutely spectacular scenery.

Antelope Canyon

Another fantastic day trip and a really special treat is visiting Antelope Canyon (either lower or secluded). In 15 hours you’ll cross back and forth over the Arizona and Utah border with other amazing stops for iconic views in places such as Horseshoe Bend.

Bryce & Zion National Park

More natural scenery awaits on a 13-hour tour from Las Vegas to Bryce & Zion National Parks in one day. Get to see the highlights with a guide on tour who will show you some fantastic photo opportunities too.

Experience Fremont Street

If you’re up for another night out (or taking it a bit easier) then head to downtown Las Vegas, which is not The Strip. Fremont Street is a little rougher (in a good way) and is where locals and tourists alike go to hang out as its got better prices and is still lots of fun. Fremont Street is full of food, activities like ziplining, and street performers. It’s more relaxed and casual here and the bars are close together so you wish to go bar hopping.

4 Days in Las Vegas: Seven Magic Mountains & Head Home

This itinerary has been packed so your fourth day in Vegas could of course be more of the same, but doing things at a slower pace. Alternatively, spend half the day visiting Magic Mountains.

Seven Magic Mountains

You’ve most definitely seen the colorful rocks of the Seven Magic Mountains on Instagram before. Head out of the city for a quick 30-minute tour to get your pictures, see the desert, and make a stop at the Las Vegas sign. There’s also the option to add on Hover Dam too for a half-day trip .

Make your way to your car, the airport, or continue roaming The Strip. There’s always more to see, do, and eat in Vegas.

Best Things to Do in Las Vegas

To sum things up or if you’re short on time, these are must-do and see attractions in Las Vegas.

Wander The Strip

I think this is pretty self-explanatory as you can’t visit Vegas without checking out all the hotels. Give yourself some time and a good pair of walking shoes. There’s plenty of food, casinos, activities, and a ton of shopping (there’s a mall in every hotel!). You can weave your way in and out of the hotels for a break from the heat. There’s no shortage of things to do there.

See a Live Show

Why go to Las Vegas and not see one of the many shows offered at any of the hotels along the strip? Vegas is here for your entertainment, so go out and see it!

You can pick up your tickets day of and enjoy the show at night. If you want to spend every night at clubs, make sure you check out one an earlier show as there are usually two per night.

Take a trip to the Grand Canyon

If you have the time, actually you should make the time, to go and visit this natural wonder that is not too far from Las Vegas. Visiting the Grand Canyon is a bucket list experience and if you’re this close, why not go?

Experience the nightlife

Of course, this is something you should give a try. Partying in Vegas is a must-do at one of the many hotel nightclubs along the strip. Caesar’s Omnia nightclub offers a terrace that overlooks the strip, which is definitely worth checking out.

Make sure whatever nightclub you want to go to is open (especially during the slow season), and check out what DJs are playing (if you’re into that), as Vegas brings in top DJs from all over the world.

Visit Downtown Las Vegas (Fremont Street )

An area where the locals tend to head to is Fremont Street, avoiding The Strip and tourists. It’s definitely worth your time to get out of the crowds and enjoy some food or drinks for a bit cheaper.

There are shops, bars, restaurants, more gambling (of course), and even zip-lining. It also has free light shows and music performances, all under a canopy to keep you out of the sun and heat.

Take time to relax

Vegas is hot, no matter what time of year you visit so a relaxing day to recover from walking or partying is perfect to spend at a pool lounge.

Perhaps check out Radius, which is 25 floors up at the Stratosphere , where even guests can feel the cool breeze many stories up. A fee may be required to lounge here.

Where to Stay in Las Vegas

You won’t find uber budget-friendly places to stay in Las Vegas on the Strip but you can find Las Vegas Strip hotels for cheaper than you’d think.

Luxury Las Vegas Accommodation

These are the best of the best hotels in Vegas that will show you a side of luxury you’ve never seen. Get ready to splurge (but it totally be worth it)!

Mid-Range Las Vegas Accommodation

I think you’ll be surprised that some mid-range hotels in Las Vegas are some of the more popular ones. You don’t have to fork out a ton of cash just to stay on the Strip!

Budget Las Vegas Accommodation

Hostels in Las Vegas are the cheapest accommodation in the city. I personally recommend Hostel Cat and it’s perfectly located between the Strip and downtown Las Vegas so you can the best of both worlds and public transit runs right past!

Best Time to Visit Las Vegas

The best time to visit Sin City is during the shoulder months of March to May and September to November. Though you’ll be able to score travel deals throughout the year these months are the best for a combination of prices and weather.

During the winter months there is a huge influx of visitors, especially around New Year’s Eve. The summers can be extremely hot, reaching temperatures of 37°C and higher. Trust me, I went during this time and it was tough to walk for long on the Strip!

Temperatures during the shoulder months can dip down to 15°C but still reach the low 30’s so pack a few layers when it cools down at night. Lastly, be sure to book a trip during the week to score the best deals on airfare and accommodation as Las Vegas is a weekend destination so prices tend to spike.

Las Vegas Budget

Las Vegas on a budget? It can happen! You may be planning on being a high roller for the weekend but there are certainly some ways you can save money so you can spend it on more important things.

*All prices are quoted in USD.

If you want to do Las Vegas on a budget then it can be done for a daily budget of $50-100. This budget is if you’re staying in a hostel, cooking some of your own meals and not eating at prime spots on the strip and using local transportation.

Hostels can be as cheap as $20 a night for a dorm. Public transport can be less than $8 a day depending on how long you buy a pass for and meals you can find very budget options like Subway and McDonalds but except to pay $15+ for cheap sit-down restaurants.

If you’d like to stay in a hotel, not take public transit and eat out at nicer restaurants then have a daily budget $150-300. This can be even higher depending on how fancy you want to be!

Hotels can be booked using points to save or you can score hotel deals by staying at some of the cheaper hotels. Eating out at nicer but not the fancy restaurants will cost $25-50 a meal and transit can be done for $25 or less a day depending on how much you taxi/Uber.

Las Vegas Transport

Getting around Las Vegas is very simple, even if you’re taking public transit.

Getting from McCarran International Airport to the Strip:  The easiest way to get from the airport to the strip is by taxi but this is the most expensive option and not all taxis accept payment by cards. Prices range from $12 to $25 depending on where on the Strip you’re headed.

Uber and Lyft are both available at the airport and are 30-40% ($13-17) cheaper. Pick up in terminal 1 is at the 2M parking garage and on the valet parking level of the parking garage in terminal 3. The cheapest option is taking the 109 bus from the terminal located outside on the ground level.

You can purchase your fare at the kiosk before boarding. One final option is a Las Vegas airport shuttle that take you directly to your door and cost as little as $7 one-way.

Transporation in Las Vegas is easy. The Strip is long so walking, especially in the heat is not always an option. The cheapest option The Deuce which is public double-decker bus that runs down the Strip and to downtown Las Vegas. You can purchase 1-time tickets for $2, 2-hours for $6, 1-day for $8 and 3-days for $20.

There are free trams between certain hotels that can save you from walking. Know where the attractions are that you want to see and you can plan to take the tram.

Taxis are the most costly way to get around town but you can calculate rough rates here for an idea . Also note that you should never hail a taxi from the side of the road as they can be fined. Be sure to always grab one from a hotel. Uber and Lyft are also available through the city.

How Much You Should Budget for a Trip to Vegas – By Category!

When it comes to budgeting spending money for Vegas, there isn’t a “one size fits all” answer. Variations in preferences from person to person need to be taken into account before determining how much cash you’ll need.

With that being said, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) conducts an annual visitor survey to gauge how much, on average, people spent during their trip on things like entertainment, food, drink, and gambling.

Below, I’ll dig into those average spend figures which can help you create your own spending plan.

Note that for each category below, visitors shared how much they spent per category per trip to Vegas. The same survey noted that the average trip length was 4.6 days in 2021. With that information, I’m able to get a feel for what the “average person” should budget to spend per day while in Vegas.

Entertainment Budget

Determining how much money you should bring to Vegas for shows and other activities is dependent on your tastes. What do you plan to do while in town? Popular shows like “Absinthe” at Caesars, or “O” at Bellagio can cost upwards of $100 per seat while entry to comedy clubs or activities like Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is significantly cheaper.

I recommend pricing out your preferred activities on sites like Vegas.com where you can see the full allotment of entertainment options available to you along with their associated price. With that information, you can put together an accurate spending plan.

The average visitor in 2021 spent $83.83 on shows, entertainment, and sightseeing per trip, or about $18 per day.

Food & Drink Budget

Again, your specific tastes will dictate how much money you should take to Vegas for restaurants and drinking. Are you eating at Hell’s Kitchen and Giada’s, or at less expensive fast food options?

Rest assured, if you are looking to eat cheap in Vegas, there are plenty of value buffet and restaurant options to stretch your dollar. If you plan to indulge in a couple of higher-end meals though, check out that restaurant’s menu online in advance so you can budget appropriately.

When it comes to drinking, do you prefer $1 Michelobs at a dive bar like Stage Door Casino , or $20 craft cocktails like those found at the Ghost Donkey speakeasy at Cosmopolitan? Create a game plan based on what type of bar you want to belly up to. Remember, drinks are free while gambling, but bring plenty of singles to tip!

Shopping Budget

You either do it, or you don’t. Me? You’ll find me at the craps table but I understand that some like perusing the various shopping malls in Las Vegas that range from outlet malls to high-end luxury.

The average visitor in 2021 spent $284.55 on shopping per trip, or about $62 per day.

Transportation Budget

Options for transportation in Vegas exist for all budgets and range from public transportation to limousines. Options include:

• City Bus ( The Deuce ) ($6 for a 2 hr. pass)
• Uber/Lyft ($10-$20 per trip)
• Cabs ($15-$25 per trip)
• Limos ($60/hr)

The average visitor in 2021 spent $130.02 on local transportation per trip, or about $28 per day.

Gambling Budget

The average amount of money visitors budgeted for gambling in 2021 according to the LVCVA is wide-ranging, with 7% budgeting $99 or less, 23% budgeting $100-$300, 30% budgeting $300-$600, and 39% budgeting over $600.

My suggestion is to establish a daily plan, or limit. Split the cash up into envelopes labeled by day to keep you on budget.

Of course, you can also stretch your gambling budget by escaping the Strip and visiting locals casinos where minimums are often cheaper. I suggest walking to Ellis Island , a small locals casino just behind Horseshoe off the Strip where $5 blackjack and craps can still be found.

The median amount budgeted for gambling in 2021 was $500, or about $109 per day.

So, How Much Money Should I Bring to Vegas?

The average visitor spent $1,461 per trip when you add up each category above from the 2021 LVCVA profile survey. That total breaks down to about $318 per day, based on the average 4.6-day trip.

Obviously, the amount of money you should bring to Vegas will likely differ, but this should give you a good baseline idea of how much money to bring.

Miscellaneous Items To Consider

Tipping: I typically arrive in Vegas prior to hotel check-in and check my bags with the bellman so that I can roam the city free of encumbrances. The problem? I never seem to plan adequately for tipping which has me scrambling. Part of your spending money plan should include a stack of $1 or even $2 bills for tipping. More on tipping in Vegas here .

Resort Fees: Although your hotel will be paid for upfront, resort fees will be due at the hotel property upon check-out for the vast majority of travelers. Resort fees differ by resort, but high-end properties typically charge $45, while lower-tier strip properties have a nightly fee that lands in the $30 range. It is possible to avoid the fees if you are a big-time gambler, otherwise, you’ll want to book at one of these Las Vegas hotels without resort fees .

Understandably, your answer to “How much to budget for Vegas?” will be different depending on your tastes and preferences.

I recommend going category by category, thinking ahead about what you intend to do, and planning for what you plan to spend for each. Putting thought into your budget will help ensure you have enough spending money for Vegas to be the time of your life!

You have lots of options when it comes to putting together a Las Vegas itinerary . It depends on what you want to do and see, as well as how many days you have in the city.

How many days to spend in Vegas

It’s hard to see all of Las Vegas in a day, but if you’re short on time, two days is enough. Ideally, I recommend planning a 3-day trip to Vegas so you can see all the top attractions.

Begin your  day in Las Vegas  by visiting the  Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign . You can catch the  Hop-On/Hop-Off bus there and take it to Downtown Las Vegas, where you can explore this entertainment area.

Then, go to The Venetian  and check out  Madame Tussauds  and the  gondola rides  at the  Grand Canal Shoppes .

Later, head to the LINQ Promenade and ride the High Roller  during sunset. At night, walk to the  Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas , where you’ll have a great view of the  Bellagio Fountains . The water show is one of the best  free things to do in Vegas , although if you want to see it from the Paris viewing deck, you should reserve a  ticket  (It is also included at the  Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass ).

Seeing the  Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign  is a rite of passage, so start there. This is also where you can catch the  Hop-On/Hop-Off bus , which will transport you around the Strip.

If you like thrill rides, stop at  New York-New York ‘s  Big Apple Coaster  before continuing downtown. Then you can do the  Las Vegas Downtown – Fremont St. walking tour , one of the best  things to do in downtown Las Vegas .

Later on, head to the  LINQ Promenade , where you can eat, shop, and ride the  High Roller . You can also get awesome views from the 1,149-foot-tall  SkyPod  at  the STRAT . The SkyPod has a late-night bar and lounge, so it’s the perfect place to wrap up a  Las Vegas couples itinerary .

A  Las Vegas weekend itinerary  is ideal because you can experience some  daytime activities in Las Vegas  before diving into the nightlife.

First, take a break from the Strip with a half-day  Hoover Dam tour . When you return to Vegas, take a quick break, then do go to a  pool party in Las Vegas.  If that’s not your thing, you can take in the scene at  Fremont Street , perhaps with a ride on the  SlotZilla zip line  or a visit to the  Mob Museum , one of the  best Las Vegas museums .

At night, walk to the  Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas , where you’ll have a great view of the  Bellagio Fountains . The water show is one of the best  free things to do in Vegas , although if you want to see it from the Paris viewing deck, you should reserve a  ticket  (It is also included at the  Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass ).

If you feel it’s to early to go to bed, grab cocktails at a swanky casino or do a bar crawl .

Ideally, I recommend at least 3 days for your Las Vegas trip so you can fully enjoy all the top attractions. Spend your first day taking the Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tour , starting at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign .

As you make your way along the Strip, stop by The Venetian , where you can see the wax figures at Madame Tussauds and take a gondola ride at the Grand Canal Shoppes .

Later on, check out the entertainment and attractions at the LINQ Promenade . If you perfectly time your ride on the High Roller , you can catch the Bellagio Fountains water show from the observation wheel.

The next morning, get in a nice swim or sunbathe at your hotel’s pool before the day gets too hot. Then, check out a Las Vegas museum , like the Mob Museum or the Erotic Heritage Museum .

In the afternoon, get a spectacular view of the city by taking a Las Vegas Strip Helicopter tour , a premium attraction with the Go Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass .

Afterwards, grab dinner and drinks at Señor Frogs.

Spend your last day taking an adventure to one of the nearby national parks. I recommend this full-day bus tour to the Grand Canyon West Rim and Hoover Dam .

The following Las Vegas itinerary will pack four days full of unique experiences like gourmet dining and unrivaled shopping opportunities. The famed Las Vegas Strip is what most people think of when a visit to this iconic tourist destination comes up. The length of the Strip is just over 4 miles, with casinos, restaurants, and shops lining both sides of the street. For most people, a bulk of time will be spent in this immediate area, but there are certainly some sites worth the trek off-Strip as well. Las Vegas is very pedestrian friendly with wide sidewalks lining both sides of the Strip, and elevated pedestrian bridges in place to make crossing the busy Las Vegas Boulevard easy and safe. Buses, including the 24-hour Deuce and the Las Vegas Monorail are excellent and economical public transportation options, while taxis, Uber, and Lyft are plentiful for longer jaunts. If you find yourself in need of a rental car for a day trip, there are numerous rental counters in the immediate Strip area that can get you set up with wheels and on your way in no time.

Guests arriving by air will likely land at the McCarren International Airport (LAS), which is an approximate 10–15-minute drive to the center of the Las Vegas Strip. Visitors are generally able to see the high-rise casinos and buildings rising from the desert when descending to land at the airport, making this one of the first of many photo opportunities during your trip.

It is highly encouraged to choose a hotel along the Las Vegas Strip, especially if you will not have access to a car during your stay. You can find the entrance to the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck on the first floor of the Paris Casino. This half-scale replica takes guests on an elevator ride 46 stories up to an open-air viewing platform. From hangover treatment to hotel amenity

Recreational IV drips may be most famously associated with hangovers, but they can purportedly alleviate a wide range of symptoms, such as dehydration, brain fog, nausea and lethargy. Prices vary by city and type of IV cocktail, but basic drips start at about $150 and can rise fivefold or more.

IV drip clinics have been proliferating around the world. A number of Four Seasons spas — Orlando, Washington D.C., Maui, New York City — offer the amenity. At the Ranch , a wellness retreat in Malibu and New York’s Hudson Valley, guests can receive a drip poolside or in the privacy of their room. Shoppers can indulge in a different kind of retail therapy at Harrod’s in London and the Dubai Mall. Even cruise ships are getting in on the trend.

“This is global,” Kapp said. “I was in Honduras for a convention and they were doing IVs.”

But like pizza and barbecue, there are regional IV preferences.

In Type-A cities like Washington and New York City, travelers often book drips with the hopes of building their immunity and energy reserves. In avant-garde wellness destinations such as Los Angeles and Miami, the treatment is part of the broader longevity movement. The chief operating officer of a drug and alcohol treatment program in Malibu incorporates them into his travels. On a trip to the Sacramento area, he booked an appointment with a well-reviewed physician he found online. During the 45-minute session, he read his Kindle and relaxed while the IV worked its magic. Despite their popularity outside of hospitals, many experts in the medical and wellness fields are wary of IV drips. Beth McGroarty, vice president of research at the Global Wellness Institute, said the injection can lead to serious infections caused by improperly sterilized equipment or unclean skin. A reaction might occur during the treatment or hours to a day later.

“ I would not go to a place that doesn’t open it in front of you,” Tofel said.

Las Vegas, ground zero for luxury IVs

Though the treatment is commonplace, Las Vegas still feels like the epicenter of IV drips. Like Elvis impersonators, they are inescapable. During a recent stay on the Strip, I would pass clinics on my morning coffee run and during my aimless wanderings in the black hole of casinos. On a search for my hotel’s fitness center, I ended up inside an IV drip lounge.

I get a little wigged out by foreign objects embedded in my skin, but I mustered up the courage to stop by several places and ask my inner elbow: Do we dare?

I started at Ageless Las Vegas in Caesars Palace, which evoked the mysterious and moody atmosphere of a speakeasy. Co-founder Rio Alabastro showed me a red pinprick in her inner elbow. She said she had felt a little sluggish that morning and gave herself a little Get-Up-and-Go, one of the options she recommended to a virgin dripper. On my way out, she handed me a QR code with a discount.

Regenerate Me has three locations on the Strip. The outpost in the Linq Hotel sits across from a Dunkin’, so you can put your drip to work with a doughnut and chemically flavored coffee. The attendant told me most people order a hangover cure. I showed up at lunchtime, so I was either too late or too early for the rush.

The company’s clinic in Planet Hollywood was also empty. I peered through a gap in the treatment room and saw a row of reclining massage chairs arranged around a TV set. It felt like a den in Middle America.

Reviv has more than 80 locations, including the United Kingdom, Dubai and the Cosmopolitan in Vegas. The facility was predominantly furnished in white and emitted a vibe that was more Scandinavian lounge than sanitized hospital.
